1Throughput analysis of slotted ALOHA with cooperative transmission using successive interference cancellation显示文摘With a cross-layer design approach, a novel random access protocol is proposed in this paper, which is based on conventional slotted ALOHA (S-ALOHA) using successive interference cancellation (SIC) technique to separate collided packets and cooperative transmission to exploit the physical layer advantages. And a general theoretic analysis model is presented to obtain its throughput, which is also suitable for analyzing the performance of other protocols (such as S-ALOHA and S-ALOHA with cooperative transmission (C-ALOHA)) and is shown to be right and effective. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed protocol can improve the maximal throughput by 190% and 132% over a Rayleigh fading channel, respectively, as compared with S-ALOHA and C-ALOHA. 2A COLLABORATIVE SPECTRUM SENSING SCHEME USING FUZZY COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION IN COGNITIVE RADIO显示文摘Cognitive Radio(CR) is a promising technology to solve the challenging spectrum scarcity problem.However, to implement CR, spectrum sensing is the groundwork and the precondition.In this paper, a collaborative spectrum sensing scheme using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed.The final sensing decision of the proposed scheme is based on the combination of distributed sensing results of different Secondary Users(SUs).To improve the reliability of the sensing decision, the combination procedure takes into account the credibility of each SU, which is evaluated using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The effect of the presence of malicious SUs and malfunctioning SUs on the performance of the proposed scheme is also investigated.The efficiency of the scheme is validated through analysis and simulation.Yang Wendong Ye Yuhuang Cai Yueming Xu Youyun 2009Journal of Electronics(China)2009,26,3:3
3Power allocation for non-orthogonal decode-andforward cooperation protocol显示文摘This paper studies the power allocation problem for the non-orthogonal decode-and-forward (NDF) cooperation protocol with selection relaying. With the availability of the magnitudes of all channel gains at the source, the power allocation is explored that maximizes the mutual information between the source and destination subject to a total power constraint. The minimum power that avoids the outage of the relay is set as a condition, under which the power allocation problem becomes one of selecting the optimal one from several allocation factor triplets. 5Defect detection in atomic-resolution images via unsupervised learning with translational invariance显示文摘Crystallographic defects can now be routinely imaged at atomic resolution with aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM)at high speed,with the potential for vast volumes of data to be acquired in relatively short times or through autonomous experiments that can continue over very long periods.Automatic detection and classification of defects in the STEM images are needed in order to handle the data in an efficient way.However,like many other tasks related to object detection and identification in artificial intelligence,it is challenging to detect and identify defects from STEM images.Furthermore,it is difficult to deal with crystal structures that have many atoms and low symmetries.Previous methods used for defect detection and classification were based on supervised learning,which requires human-labeled data.In this work,we develop an approach for defect detection with unsupervised machine learning based on a one-class support vector machine(OCSVM).We introduce two schemes of image segmentation and data preprocessing,both of which involve taking the Patterson function of each segment as inputs.We demonstrate that this method can be applied to various defects,such as point and line defects in 2D materials and twin boundaries in 3D nanocrystals.Yueming Guo Sergei V.Kalinin Hui Cai Kai Xiao Sergiy Krylyuk Albert V.Davydov Qianying Guo Andrew R.Lupini 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:2
6Channel-aware multi-user uplink transmission scheme for SIMO-OFDM systems显示文摘The problem of medium access control(MAC) in wireless single-input multiple-output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(SIMO-OFDM) systems is addressed. Traditional random access protocols have low overheads and inferior performance. Centralized methods have superior performance and high overheads. To achieve the tradeoff between overhead and performance,we propose a channelaware uplink transmission(CaUT) scheme for SIMO-OFDM systems. In CaUT,users transmit requestto-send(RTS) at some subcarriers whose channel gains are above a predetermined threshold. Using the channel state information provided by RTS,access point performs user selection with receive beamforming to decide which users can access and then broadcasts the selection results via clear-to-send(CTS) to users. We present a distributed power control scheme by using a simple fixed modulation mode. We optimize the modulation order and channel gain thresholds to maximize the separable packets subject to the bit-error-rate(BER) and temporal fairness requirements and the individual average transmit power constraints. The performance of CaUT scheme is analyzed analytically and evaluated by simulations. 7Distributed space-time-frequency coding for cooperative OFDM systems显示文摘A distributed space-time-frequency (STF) coding scheme is proposed for cooperative OFDM (C-OFDM) systems with three terminals over quasi-static frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channels. The outage probability is derived and its tight closed-form lower bound is presented. Asymptotic analysis indicates that the proposed scheme can achieve both spatial and multipath (frequency) diversity. The theoretical analysis of the proposed STF coded scheme is further implemented by the distributed group STF block coding (D-GSTFBC) scheme based on the subcarrier grouping technique. 8Shikonin alleviates collagen-induced arthritis mice by inhibiting M1 macrophage polarization显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of shikonin(SKN) on M1 and M2 polarization of macrophages both in vitro and in vivo. METHODS: Collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) in male DBA/1 mice were treated with a dose of 4 mg/kg/day of SKN for 23 d(n = 6/group). The histopathology of inflamed joints in CIA mice was evaluated to test the antiarthritic effect of SKN. M1/M2 polarization of macrophages induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS) and interferon(IFN)-γ or interleukin(IL)-4 and IL-13, were used to assess the effect of SKN(0.05, 0.1, and 0.2 μM). The effect of SKN on the protein expression of nitric oxide synthase, arginase, CD68, and CD206 was evaluated using western blot analysis. RESULTS: The results of this study revealed that SKN delayed the arthritis feet symptom score, reduced the incidence rate of arthritis, and relieved the inflammation of joints in CIA mice. SKN inhibited M1 macrophage polarization but did not affect M2 macrophage polarization in the joints of CIA mice. Moreover, SKN inhibited M1 polarization induced by LPS and IFN-γ, but did not affect M2 polarization induced by IL-4 and IL-13. 20Joint subcarrier and power allocation in uplink OFDMA systems based on stochastic game显示文摘In uplink orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access(OFDMA) systems,efficient resource allocation can greatly improve system performance.Therefore,in this paper,we present a game-theoretical approach to achieve a joint subcarrier and power allocation in a distributed way.Particularly,the subcarrier allocation problem is modeled as a multi-player discrete,stochastic and finite strategy game,where each of the subcarriers is viewed as a player to choose the most satisfying user.The subcarriers of each user are allocated with equal power.For the proposed game model,on the one hand,we exploit the support and programming methods to obtain the Nash equilibriums,and analyze their theoretical properties.On the other hand,we propose a lowcomplexity algorithm based on the linear reward-inaction(L R-I) algorithm to search for the Nash equilibriums.And the relationship between the convergence results of this algorithm and the Nash equilibriums is discussed.Extensive simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the resource allocation game model and algorithm.WU Dan CAI YueMing SHENG YanMing 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,12:1
