1Research on solar aided coal-fired power generation system and performance analysis显示文摘Integrating solar power utilization systems with coal-fired power units, the solar aided coal-fired power generation (SACPG) shows a significant prospect for the large-scale utilization of solar energy and energy saving of thermal power units. The methods and mechanism of system integration were studied. The parabolic trough solar collectors were used to collect solar energy and the integration scheme of SACPG system was determined considering the matching of working fluid flows and energy flows. The thermodynamic characteristics of solar thermal power generation and their effects on the performance of thermal power units were studied, and based on this the integration and optimization model of system structure and parameters were built up. The integration rules and coupling mecha- nism of SACPG systems were summarized in accordance with simulation results. 2Characteristics of pulsed plasma synthetic jet and its control effect on supersonic flow显示文摘The plasma synthetic jet is a novel flow control approach which is currently being studied. In this paper its characteristic and control effect on supersonic flow is investigated both experimentally and numerically. In the experiment, the formation of plasma synthetic jet and its propagation velocity in quiescent air are recorded and calculated with time resolved schlieren method. The jet velocity is up to 100 m/s and no remarkable difference has been found after changing discharge parameters. When applied in Mach 2 supersonic flow, an obvious shockwave can be observed. In the modeling of electrical heating, the arc domain is not defined as an initial condition with fixed temperature or pressure, but a source term with time-varying input power density, which is expected to better describe the influence of heating process. Velocity variation with different heating efficiencies is presented and discussed and a peak velocity of 850 m/s is achieved in still air with heating power density of 5.0 · 1012W/m3. For more details on the interaction between plasma synthetic jet and supersonic flow, the plasma synthetic jet induced shockwave and the disturbances in the boundary layer are numerically researched. 4Shock wave-boundary layer interactions control by plasma aerodynamic actuation显示文摘This study demonstrates the potential for shock wave-boundary layer interaction control in air by plasma aerodynamic actuation.Experimental investigations on shock wave-boundary layer interactions control by plasma aerodynamic actuation are conducted in a Mach 3 in-draft air tunnel.Schlieren imaging shows that the discharges cause the oblique shock to move forward.Schlieren imaging and static pressure probes also show that separation phenomenon shifts backward and the size of separation is enlarged when plasma aerodynamic actuation is applied.The intensity of shock wave is weakened through wall pressure probe.Furthermore,numerical investigations on shock wave-boundary layer interactions control are conducted with plasma aerodynamic actuation.The discharge is modeled as a steady volumetric heat source which is integrated into the energy equation.The input energy level is about 7 kW through discharge process.Results show that the separation phenomenon shifts backward and the intensity of shock is reduced with plasma actuation.These numerical results are consistent with the experimental results.SUN Quan LI YingHong CUI Wei CHENG BangQin LI Jun DAI Hui 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,7:4

17Summer habitat selection and impacts of human disturbance on leopard cats(Prionailurus bengalensis)显示文摘Introduction:As a consequence of habitat loss and degradation,the leopard cat(Prionailurus bengalensis)in China has become endangered and in need of urgent protection.In situ conservation of leopard cats must be based on an understanding of their habitat selection patterns.We studied the summer habitat of leopard cats using line-transect surveys in the northern Taihang Mountain region surrounding Beijing,China.We compared used plots with non-used plots in elevation,tree canopy,and 20 other ecological variables,and used Vanderploeg��Scavia’s resource selection index(VSI)to analyze habitat preferences.Outcomes/others:Results show that tree canopy,tree height,tree density,and stump quantity of used plots were significantly lower than non-used plots in summer,and that leopard cats preferred habitats located on northern,flat slopes with lower slope,shrub-dominated,dry soil,and less fallen-wood.Leopard cats had a strong tendency to use habitats near human disturbance areas with moderate levels of disturbance intensity.Conclusion:The results suggest that future conservation efforts should emphasize:(1)strengthening the protection and management of forest fringe shrub habitats to improve summer habitat suitability,and(2)environmental education and animal protection campaigns to promote community biodiversity conservation.Jiayi Wu Jing Wang Yinjiu Zhu Xiangli Bu Rongwei Xiang Qingbin Lu Shaopeng Cui Yinghong Hao Yan Sheng Xiuxiang Meng 2020Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1:0
