1M3SC:A Generic Dataset for Mixed Multi-Modal(MMM)Sensing and Communication Integration显示文摘The sixth generation(6G)of mobile communication system is witnessing a new paradigm shift,i.e.,integrated sensing-communication system.A comprehensive dataset is a prerequisite for 6G integrated sensing-communication research.This paper develops a novel simulation dataset,named M3SC,for mixed multi-modal(MMM)sensing-communication integration,and the generation framework of the M3SC dataset is further given.To obtain multimodal sensory data in physical space and communication data in electromagnetic space,we utilize Air-Sim and WaveFarer to collect multi-modal sensory data and exploit Wireless InSite to collect communication data.Furthermore,the in-depth integration and precise alignment of AirSim,WaveFarer,andWireless InSite are achieved.The M3SC dataset covers various weather conditions,multiplex frequency bands,and different times of the day.Currently,the M3SC dataset contains 1500 snapshots,including 80 RGB images,160 depth maps,80 LiDAR point clouds,256 sets of mmWave waveforms with 8 radar point clouds,and 72 channel impulse response(CIR)matrices per snapshot,thus totaling 120,000 RGB images,240,000 depth maps,120,000 LiDAR point clouds,384,000 sets of mmWave waveforms with 12,000 radar point clouds,and 108,000 CIR matrices.The data processing result presents the multi-modal sensory information and communication channel statistical properties.Finally,the MMM sensing-communication application,which can be supported by the M3SC dataset,is discussed.Xiang Cheng Ziwei Huang Lu Bai Haotian Zhang Mingran Sun Boxun Liu Sijiang Li Jianan Zhang Minson Lee 2023China Communications2023,20,11:3

3Osseointegration of hollow porous titanium prostheses loaded with cancellous bone matrix in rabbits显示文摘This study aimed to observe the osseointegration of hollow porous titanium prostheses (HPTP) loaded with cancellous bone matrix (CBM) in rabbits using histological and biomechanical perspectives.Experimental samples were implanted into the lateral femoral condyles of 66 New Zealand rabbits,allocated into the following groups:non-porous prosthesis group (Group A,n=22);HPTP group (Group B,n=22);HPTP+CBM group (Group C,n=22).The rabbits were sacrificed at 3,8 and 12 weeks,postoperatively.X-ray analyses,microscopy techniques and morphological measurement software and mechanical tests were used for evaluation.At each time point,the tissues surrounding the implants were similar in all of the groups,with bony in-growth into the 2-mm round holes observed for the defects in Groups B and C.However,the internal bone formation was significantly better in Group C than in Group B at different time points (P<0.01).Biomechanically,the pull-out forces were significantly greater in Groups B and C than in Group A (P<0.01),with no difference between Groups B and C (P>0.05).These results suggest that bone can grow into the cavities of HPTP to achieve more stable locking fixation,and those osteogenic materials,such as CBM,can enhance osteogenesis to achieve better osseointegration between the implant and the host bone.WEI JunQiang CAI Xu WANG Yan ZHANG BoXun CHEN Hua ZHANG Li ZHAO Bin WANG AiYua 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,20:2

5Research on handover algorithm to reduce the blocking probability in LEO satellite network显示文摘Based on the characteristics of guaranteed handover (GH) algorithm, the finite capacity in one system makes the blocking probability (PB) of GH algorithm increase rapidly in the case of high traffic load. So, when large amounts of multimedia services are transmitted via a single low earth orbit (LEO) satellite system, the PB of it is much higher. In order to solve the problem, a novel handover scheme defined by multi-tier optimal layer selection is proposed. The scheme sufficiently takes into account the characteristics of double-tier satellite network, which is constituted by LEO satellites combined with medium earth orbit (MEO) satellites, and the multimedia transmitted by such network, so it can augment this systematic capacity and effectively reduces the traffic load in the LEO which performs GH algorithm. The detailed processes are also presented. 7Microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis analysis in impaired glucose tolerance for the prediction of progression to diabetes mellitus显示文摘Gut microbiota and circulating metabolite dysbiosis predate important pathological changes in glucose metabolic disorders;however,comprehensive studies on impaired glucose tolerance(IGT),a diabetes mellitus(DM)precursor,are lacking.Here,we perform metagenomic sequencing and metabolomics on 47 pairs of individuals with IGT and newly diagnosed DM and 46 controls with normal glucose tolerance(NGT);patients with IGT are followed up after 4 years for progression to DM.Analysis of baseline data reveals significant differences in gut microbiota and serum metabolites among the IGT,DM,and NGT groups.In addition,13 types of gut microbiota and 17 types of circulating metabolites showed significant differences at baseline before IGT progressed to DM,including higher levels of Eggerthella unclassified,Coprobacillus unclassified,Clostridium ramosum,L-valine,L-norleucine,and L-isoleucine,and lower levels of Eubacterium eligens,Bacteroides faecis,Lachnospiraceae bacterium 3_1_46FAA,Alistipes senegalensis,Megaspaera elsdenii,Clostridium perfringens,α-linolenic acid,10E,12Z-octadecadienoic acid,and dodecanoic acid.A random forest model based on differential intestinal microbiota and circulating metabolites can predict the progression from IGT to DM(AUC=0.87).These results suggest that microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis occur in individuals with IGT and have important predictive values and potential for intervention in preventing IGT from progressing to DM.Boxun Zhang Xuan Zhang Zhen Luo Jixiang Ren Xiaotong Yu Haiyan Zhao Yitian Wang Wenhui Zhang Weiwei Tian Xiuxiu Wei Qiyou Ding Haoyu Yang Zishan Jin Xiaolin Tong Jun Wang Linhua Zhao 2024Journal of Genetics and Genomics2024,51,1:0
8Electrospun poly(L-lactic acid)/gelatine membranes loaded with doxorubicin for effective suppression of glioblastoma cell growth in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Electrospun membranes are attracting interest as a drug delivery system because of their material composition flexibility and versatile drug loading.In this study,the electrospun membrane was loaded with doxorubicin(DOX)via electrostatic adsorption for long-term drug delivery.DOX loading process was optimized by varying temperature,time,drug concentration,pH and ionic strength of solutions.The loading process did not impair the structural properties of the membrane.Next,we investigated the drug release kinetics using spectroscopic techniques.The composite membranes released 22%of the adsorbed DOX over the first 48 h,followed by a slower and sustained release over 4 weeks.The DOX release was sensitive to acidic solutions that the release rate at pH 6.0 was 1.27 times as that at pH 7.4.The DOX-loaded membranes were found to be cytotoxic to U-87 MG cells in vitro that decreased the cell viability from 82.92%to 25.49%from 24 to 72 h of coincubation.These membranes showed strong efficacy in suppressing tumour growth in vivo in glioblastoma-bearing mice that decreased the tumour volume by 77.33%compared with blank membrane-treated group on Day 20.In conclusion,we have developed an effective approach to load DOX within a clinically approved poly(L-lactic acid)/gelatine membrane for local and longterm delivery of DOX for the treatment of glioblastoma.Boxun Liu Zhizhong Jin Haiyan Chen Lun Liang Yao Li Guo Wang Jing Zhang Tao Xu 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,5:0
