| 1 | Autophagy Plays a Potential Role in the Process of Sea Cucumber Body Wall “Melting” Induced by UV Irradiation显示文摘The changes of tissue appearances and structures in the process of UV-induced 'melting' for sea cucumber (Stichopus japonicus) body wall were studied.And the localization and determination of acid phosphatase (ACP),Cathepsin B and Cathepsin L activities were also investigated.The results show that the connective tissue was damaged with many hollows emerging and the regular collagen bundles were broken apart into irregular fragments.Margination of condensed chromatin at the nuclear membrane was observed.Both Golgi’s body and endoplasmic reticulum swelled,curled,and eventually double-or multi-lamellar vesicles were formed.A number of autophagic vesicles distributed in all through the whole cytoplasm.ACP be-comes more active after UV irradiation.The activities of cathepsin B and cathepsin L increased in UV-treated sea cucumbers and both achieved their maximum under certain conditions.It indicates that autophagy plays a potential role in the 'melting' process for sea cucumber body wall induced by UV irradiation. | ZHU Beiwei ZHENG Jie ZHANG Zongshen DONG Xiuping ZHAO Lulu Tada Mikiro | 2008 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2008,13,2: | 23 |
| 2 | Effects of Neo-Tethyan evolution on the petroleum system of Persian Gulf Superbasin显示文摘Considering the Neo-Tethyan tectonic process and the resulting environmental changes,a geodynamic model of“one-way train loading”is proposed to analyze the formation and evolution mechanism of the Persian Gulf Superbasin with the most abundant hydrocarbons in the world.The Persian Gulf Superbasin has long been in a passive continental margin setting since the Late Paleozoic in the process of unidirectional subduction,forming a superior regional space of hydrocarbon accu-mulation.During the Jurassic-Cretaceous,the Persian Gulf Superbasin drifted slowly at low latitudes,and developed multiple superimposed source-reservoir-caprock assemblages as a combined result of several global geological events such as the Hadley Cell,the Equatorial Upwelling Current,and the Jurassic True Polar Wander.The collision during the evolution of the foreland basin since the Cenozoic led to weak destruction,which was conducive to the preservation of oil and gas.Accordingly,it is be-lieved that the slow drifting and long retention in favorable climate zone of the continent are the critical factors for hydrocarbon enrichment.Moreover,the prospects of hydrocarbon potential in other continents in the Neo-Tethyan were proposed. | ZHU Rixiang ZHANG Shuichang WAN Bo ZHANG Wang LI Yong WANG Huajian LUO Beiwei LIU Yuke HE Zhiliang JIN Zhijun | 2023 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,1: | 4 |

| 11 | A comprehensive method to explore inhibitory kinetics and mechanisms of an anticoagulant peptide derived from Crassostrea gigas显示文摘A comprehensive method was applied to evaluate the anticoagulant activity of a novel anticoagulant peptide(NAESLRK)derived from oyster(Crassostrea gigas).The anticoagulant peptide drastically reduced the extrinsic clotting activity and also impaired the intrinsic clotting activity slightly.Consistent with clotting data,the thrombin peak height was reduced to 84.7 nmol/L from 123.4 nmol/L,and thrombin generation time was delayed to 4.67 min from 4.42 min when the extrinsic trigger was applied.The inhibitory kinetics of FⅪa,FⅨa,FⅩa,FⅡa,and APC in a purified component system rationally explained the reduction of extrinsic clotting activity and impairment of thrombin generation.Besides the inhibition of FⅩa and FⅡa activity,the activation processes of FⅩand FⅡby intrinsic/extrinsic tenase complex and prothrombinase were also damaged.The anticoagulant activity in the plasma system was the result of comprehensive inhibition of various factors.The research provided a novel method for anticoagulant evaluation and inhibitory mechanism of bioactive peptides from food products. | Shuzhen Cheng Di Wu Hanxiong Liu Xianbing Xu Beiwei Zhu Ming Du | 2022 | Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,6: | 1 |
