| 1 | Targeting circular RNAs as a therapeutic approach: current strategies and challenges显示文摘Significant progress has been made in circular RNA(circRNA)research in recent years.Increasing evidence suggests that circRNAs play important roles in many cellular processes,and their dysregulation is implicated in the pathogenesis of various diseases.CircRNAs are highly stable and usually expressed in a tissue-or cell type-specific manner.Therefore,they are currently being explored as potential therapeutic targets.Gain-of-function and loss-of-function approaches are typically performed using circRNA expression plasmids and RNA interference-based strategies,respectively.These strategies have limitations that can be mitigated using nanoparticle and exosome delivery systems.Furthermore,recent developments show that the cre-lox system can be used to knockdown circRNAs in a cell-specific manner.While still in the early stages of development,the CRISPR/Cas13 system has shown promise in knocking down circRNAs with high specificity and efficiency.In this review,we describe circRNA properties and functions and highlight their significance in disease.We summarize strategies that can be used to overexpress or knockdown circRNAs as a therapeutic approach.Lastly,we discuss major challenges and propose future directions for the development of circRNA-based therapeutics. | Alina T.He Jinglei Liu Feiya Li Burton B.Yang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021，6，6： | 5 |
| 2 | EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON REACTION SYNTHESIS OF TiC IN Al-Ti-C SYSTEM显示文摘The reaction process and mechanistn of reaction synthesis of TiC in Al-Ti-C system have been investigated in detail by observing the microstructure of the water quenched preform with SEM and EDX. The results showed that the reaction processing can be divided into three stages: aluminium powder is melted firstly, then titanium dissolves in the melted aluminium and Al3Ti is formed around titanium powder, titanium concentrates around carbon powder and a Ti-rich layer is observed around carbon pariicles,in which titanium atom reacts with carbon atom to synthesize TiC;TiC precipitates out of the melt, and diffuses out of the layer. | 3 | Crack Initiation Mechanism of Z3CN20.09M Duplex Stainless Steel during Corrosion Fatigue in Water and Air at 290 °C显示文摘The crack initiation mechanism of a Z3CN20.09 M duplex stainless steel(DSS) during corrosion fatigue(CF) in water and air at 290 °C was investigated by using a CF cracking machine and a scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The cracks were initiated successively at the persistent slip bands(PSBs), phase boundaries(PBs) and pitting corrosion points(PCPs) of the specimens when they were tested in water at 290 °C,while in air at 290 °C the cracks were only initiated at the PSBs and PBs. And the cracks were found mainly to initiate at the PSBs and PBs when the specimens were tested in water and air at 290 °C, respectively.The results also reveal that the cracks were likely to be initiated at the first 20% of fatigue life of the specimens tested in water at 290 °C. However, the cracks were not found until 50% of fatigue life when tested in air at 290 °C.
