2Lycopene Accumulation Affects the Biosynthesis of Some Carotenoid-related Volatiles Independent of Ethylene in Tomato显示文摘For elucidating the regulatory mechanism of ethylene on carotenoid-related volatiles (open chain) compounds and the relationship between lycopene and carotenoid-related volatiles, transgenic tomato fruits in which ACC synthase was suppressed were used. The transgenic tomato fruit showed a significant reduction of lycopene and aroma volatiles with low ethylene production. 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one, 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-ol and geranylacetone, which were suspected to be lycopene degradation products, were lower than those in wild type tomato fruits. In order to identify whether lycopene accumulation effects the biosynthesis of some carotenoid-related volatiles independent of ethylene in tomato or not, the capability of both wild type and transgenic tomato fruits discs to convert lycopene into carotenoid-related volatiles was evaluated. The data showed that external lycopene could convert into 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one and 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-ol in vivo, indicating that the strong inhibition of ethylene production had no effect on enzymes in the biosynthesis pathway of some carotenoid-related volatiles. Therefore, in ACS-suppression transgenic tomato fruits, the low levels of 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one, 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-ol was due to decreased lycopene accumulation, not ethylene production. 3Computational identification of microRNAs and their targets in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘microRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous, non-coding, short (~21 nt) RNAs directly involved in regulating gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. Previous reports have noted that plant miRNAs in the plant kingdom are highly conserved, which provides the foundation for identification of conserved miRNAs in other plant species through homology alignment. Conserved miRNAs in wheat are identified using EST (Expressed Sequence Tags) and GSS analysis. All previously known miRNAs in other plant species were blasted against wheat EST and GSS sequences to select novel miRNAs in wheat by a series of filtering criteria. From a total of 37 conserved miRNAs belonging to 18 miRNA families 10 conserved miRNAs comprising 4 families were reported in wheat. MiR395 is found to be a special family, because three members belonging to the same miR395 family are clustered together, similar to animal miRNAs. 5Synergy of in-situ heterogeneous interphases tailored lithium deposition显示文摘The implementation of a robust artificial solid electrolyte interphase(ASEI)to replace the unstable natural SEI can regulate lithium deposition behaviors and avoid the safety hazards caused by dendrites permeation in lithium metal batteries.Despite of devoted efforts in tailoring components of ASEI,the intrinsic mechanism of interfacial synergy within the heterogeneous interphases has not been well elucidated yet.Herein,we show that the lithium plating/striping behaviors can be substantially enhanced(over 900 h with an overpotential of less than 20 mV at 1 mA·cm^(−2)in Li|Li symmetric cells and 146 cycles in anode-free cells)by regulating the heterogeneous interphases.This favorable ASEI composed of LiF and Li_(3)N components can be in-situ generated during cycling by large-scale fabricated fluorinated boron nitride coatings.Further,the synergy of each heterogeneous component within ASEI was explored theoretically and experimentally.Li_(3)N has high adsorption energy and low ion diffusion barrier,which facilitates the transport of lithium ions and avoids its local accumulation to evolve into dendrites.Both the substrate and LiF are interfacially stable with high electron tunneling barriers,preventing the electrolyte decomposition and parasitic reactions.Finally,the high stiffness of the boron nitride also ensures lithium dendrites are suppressed once they grow,providing a stable environment for long-term cycling of lithium metal batteries.Yinuo Li Anjun Hu Xingdong Gan Miao He Jun Zhu Wei Chen Yin Hu Tianyu Lei Fei Li Yaoyao Li Yuxin Fan Fan Wang Mingjie Zhou An Wen Baihai Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,6:0
6Numerical investigation on dynamic characteristics of flow field in cyclone separators with different dust hopper structures显示文摘The dynamic characteristics of flow field in cyclone separators with different dust hopper structures were studied by coupling Reynolds Stress Model(RSM)and Lagrangian Particle Tracking(LPT)methods.The characteristic frequencies of cylinder section,cone section and dust hopper were calculated as f_(1)=53 Hz,f_(2)=65 Hz,and f_(3)=8 Hz by using Fast Fourier Transform(FFT)method,respectively.Based on the effects of f3 on the motion of vortex,the separated space was divided into none affected region,weakly affected region,and strongly affected region.The characteristic frequency of dust hopper increased with the decrease of dust hopper diameter,while it was independent of the height.The dust hopper with d=1.5D(model D3)and h=1.5D(model H3)can significantly decrease the effect of back-mixing on the motion of inner vortex,which is beneficial to improve the efficiency of cyclone separator.Liyun Zhu Sen Wang Yi Ru Jianzhu Wang Pengju Yang Anjun Li Zhenfei Ma Zhenbo Wang 2023Particuology2023,,11:0
7Correlation between Neutrophil Percentage-to-albumin Ratio and Coronary Heart Disease Complicated with Diabetes Mellitus显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the relationship between neutrophil percentage-to-albumin ratio(NPAR)and coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes.[Methods]A total of 603 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent coronary angiography in Pingquan County Hospital from January,2023 to December,2023 and met the inclusion criteria were included as the research object.All the patients were divided into a coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes group(CAD+T2DM group)(n=298 cases)and a control group(CAD group)(n=305 cases),according to patients medical history,heart color ultrasound and biochemical test results.The clinical data,biochemical test results and coronary artery imaging data of patients were recorded,and the Gensini score was calculated.The neutrophil percentage(NEUT%)and albumin count were determined to calculate NPAR.[Results]The NPAR value of the coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus group was(1.6±0.42),which was significantly higher than that of the control group(1.47±0.49),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The area under the ROC curve was 0.619(95%CI:0.591-0.675,P<0.05),and the prediction of coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes using NPAR showed a Youden index of 0.31,a sensitivity of 60.4%,a specificity of 40.3%,and a best cut-off score of 1.4506.[Conclusions]The neutrophil percentage-to-albumin ratio(NPAR)is closely related to coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus,and NPAR has clinical application value in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus.Wenjing ZHANG Yuhong SHI Guilan ZHANG Minghui ZHANG Zhoukai CUI Jiaying WANG Anjun ZHU 2024Medicinal Plant2024,15,2:0
8The commercial antibiotics with inherent AIE feature: In situ visualization of antibiotic metabolism and specifically differentiation of bacterial species and broad-spectrum therapy显示文摘The research on pharmacology usually focuses on the structure-activity relationships of drugs,such as antibiotics,to enhance their activity,but often ignores their optical properties.However,investigating the photophysical properties of drugs is of great significance because they could be used to in situ visualize their positions and help us to understand their working metabolism.In this work,we identified a class of commercialized antibiotics,such as levofloxacin,norfloxacin,and moxifloxacin(MXF)hydrochloride,featuring the unique aggregation-induced emission(AIE)characteristics.By taking advantage of their AIE feature,antibiotic metabolism in cells could be in situ visualized,which clearly shows that the luminescent aggregates accumulate in the lysosomes.Moreover,after a structure-activity relationship study,we found an ideal site of MXF to be modified with a triphenylphosphonium and an antibiotic derivative MXF-P was prepared,which is able to specifically differentiate bacterial species after only 10 min of treatment.Moreover,MXF-P shows highly effective broad-spectrum antibacterial activity,excellent therapeutic effects and biosafety for S.aureus-infected wound recovery.Thus,this work not only discovers the multifunctionalities of the antibiotics but also provides a feasible strategy to make the commercialized drugs more powerful.Bingnan Wang Lirong Wang Haozhong Wu Xiaolin Liu Jiamiao Zhu Rong Hu Dan Ding Anjun Qin Ben Zhong Tang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,5:0
9AIEgen configuration transition and aggregation enable dual prompt emission for single-component nondoped white OLEDs显示文摘The dual emission(DE)feature in materials holds great potential to revolutionize the development of one-component system white organic lightemitting diodes(WOLEDs).However,the reported DE materials remain scarce owing to the formidable challenge of breaking Kasha’s rule and managing the intricate energy/charge transfer processes.Herein,we have introduced a groundbreaking DE AIEgen,2CzAn-TPE,which possesses a simple structure and undergoes Z-to-E isomerization and exhibits yellow and red fluorescence powders for pre-and post-sublimation,respectively.With relatively lower potential energy,Z-conformation((Z)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-bis(4-(10-(9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl)anthracen-9-yl)phenyl)ethene)of 2CzAn-TPE can be readily transformed into E-conformation((E)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-bis(4-(10-(9-phenyl-9Hcarbazol-3-yl)anthracen-9-yl)phenyl)ethene)via vacuum sublimation.The utilization of X-ray diffraction and grazing-incidence-wide-angle X-ray scattering techniques confirms the structural transformation,while the crystallographic analysis reveals the establishment of numerous intermolecular CH⋅⋅⋅πinteractions between the tetraphenylethene(TPE)moiety and both the anthracene and carbazole units.This allows a densely packed molecular arrangement,thereby offering propitious conditions for excimer generation in the E-conformation aggregated state.By utilizing the sublimated 2CzAn-TPE as an emitter,a nondoped one-component WOLED was prepared,exhibiting an exceptionally high external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 5.0%,which represents one of the highest performances among all one-componentWOLEDs.This research introduces a novel,simple,and efficient approach to realize highly efficient one-molecule WOLEDs.Jiasen Zhang Qiang Wei Wei Li Hao Chen Xiangyu Zhu Yongqi Bai Nannan Fei Liang Cao Zujin Zhao Anjun Qin Ben Zhong Tang Ziyi Ge 2024Aggregate2024,5,1:0
10Design optimization of guide vane for mitigating elbow erosion using computational fluid dynamics and response surface methodology显示文摘A90°elbow equipped with guide vanes was developed with the intent of reducing elbow erosion.Numerical models were formed to predict the maximum erosion rate of elbow and Face-1,and the response surface methodology was used to study the relationship between the erosion rate and structural parameters of guide vane.A second-order response surface model was established to determine the relationship between R and variables,and a reduced cubic(RC)polynomial model was obtained to reveal the relation-ship between R2 and the three factors.The numerical results show that the low-speed region is expended and the maximum discrete particle matter(DPM)concentration is reduced after installing the guide vane.This internal component provides a shelter for the elbow from the direct impact of high-speed solids.Anjun Li Zhenbo Wang Liyun Zhu Zengli Wang Jingyuan Shi Wensan Yang 2022Particuology2022,20,4:0
