| 1 | Immunopathobiology and therapeutic targets related to cytokines in liver diseases显示文摘Chronic liver injury with any etiology can progress to fibrosis and the end-stage diseases cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.The progression of liver disease is controlled by a variety of factors,including liver injury,inflammatory cells,inflammatory mediators,cytokines,and the gut microbiome.In the current review,we discuss recent data on a large number of cytokines that play important roles in regulating liver injury,inflammation,fibrosis,and regeneration,with a focus on interferons and T helper(Th)1,Th2,Th9,Th17,interleukin(IL)-1 family,IL-6 family,and IL-20 family cytokines.Hepatocytes can also produce certain cytokines(such as IL-7,IL-11;and IL-33),and the functions of these cytokines in the liver are briefly summarized.Several cytokines have great therapeutic potential,and some are currently being tested as therapeutic targets in clinical trials for the treatment of liver diseases,which are also described. | Yong He Seonghwan Hwang Yeni Ait Ahmed Dechun Feng Na Li Marcelle Ribeiro Fouad Lafdil Tatiana Kisseleva Gyongyi Szabo Bin Gao | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021，18，1： | 14 |

| 4 | Differential Effect of Artemisinin Against Cancer Cell Lines显示文摘The present study aims at defining the differential cytotoxicity effect of artemisinin toward P815(murin mastocytoma)and BSR(kidney adenocarcinoma of hamster)cell lines.Cytotoxicity was measured by the growth inhibition using MTT assay.These in vitro cytotoxicity studies were complemented by the determination of apoptotic DNA fragmentation and Annexin V-streptavidin-FITC assay.Furthermore,we examined the in vitro synergism between artemisinin and the chemotherapeutic drug,vincristin.The in vivo study was investigated using the DBA2/P815(H2d)mouse model.While artemisinin acted on both tumor cell lines,P815 was much more sensitive to this drug than BSR cells,as revealed by the respective IC50 values(12 lM for P815 and 52 lM for BSR cells).On another hand,and interestingly,apoptosis was induced in P815 but not induced in BSR.These data,reveal an interesting differential cytotoxic effect,suggesting the existence of different molecular interactions between artemisinin and the studied cell lines.In vivo,our results clearly showed that the oral administration of artemisinin inhibited solid tumor development.Our study demonstrates that artemisinin caused differential cytotoxic effects depending not only on the concentration and time of exposure but also on the target cells. | Mounir Tilaoui Hassan Ait Mouse Abdeslam Jaafari Abdelmajid Zyad | 2014 | Natural Products and Bioprospecting2014，4，3： | 8 |

| 6 | Development of a script of phonemically balanced monosyllable lists of Mandarin-Chinese显示文摘Objectives To develop a set of monosyllable audiometry test material that can be used in speech recognition testing in Mandarin Chinese. Materials and Methods In an effort to improve reliability and efficiency in clinical practice, a set of 30 test lists of 25 monosyllable test items each was designed with consideration of the following: length of the list, phonemical balance (PB), word utility frequency, coverage of common words, and equivalency among lists. The 30 lists contained 750 monosyllabic words and were constructed on the basis of Chinese phoneme distribution probability summarized in the Manual of Acoustic. The occurrence incidence of the 22 consonants, 36 vowels, and 4 tones of the Chinese Mandarin characters in the 30 test lists were calculated. To achieve PB, 489 monosyllables were selected from the 2500 most commonly used Chinese characters and the 4000 most commonly used Chinese phrases to compile the 30 monosyllable test lists using a computer algorithm with manual adjustment. Results Thirty phonemical balanced word lists of common Mandarin Chinese monosyllabic words were compiled. Each list consisted of 25 monosyllables. A total of 489 phonemes (consonants, vowels and tones) were included in the set. | 7 | Static Analysis of Functionally Graded Sandwich Plates Using an Efficient and Simple Refined Theory显示文摘In this paper, a new displacement based high-order shear deformation theory is introduced for the static response of function-ally graded sandwich plate. Unlike any other theory, the number of unknown functions involved is only four, as against five in case of other shear deformation theories. The theory presented is variationally consistent, has strong similarity with classical plate theory in many aspects, does not require shear correction factor, and gives rise to transverse shear stress variation such that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness satisfying shear stress free surface conditions. Two common types of functionally graded sandwich plates, namely, the sandwich with functionally graded facesheet and homogeneous core and the sandwich with homogeneous facesheet and functionally graded core, are considered. Governing equations are derived from the principle of virtual displacements. The closed-form solution of a simply supported rectangular plate subjected to sinu-soidal loading has been obtained by using the Navier method. The validity of the present theory is investigated by comparing some of the present results with those of the classical, the first-order and the other higher-order theories. | 8 | Kupffer cell restoration after partial hepatectomy is mainly driven by local cell proliferation in IL-6-dependent autocrine and paracrine manners显示文摘Kupffer cells(KCs),which are liver-resident macrophages,originate from the fetal yolk sac and represent one of the largest macrophage populations in the body.However,the current data on the origin of the cells that restore macrophages during liver injury and regeneration remain controversial.Here,we address the question of whether liver macrophage restoration results from circulating monocyte infiltration or local KC proliferation in regenerating livers after partial hepatectomy(PHx)and uncover the underlying mechanisms.By using several strains of genetically modified mice and performing immunohistochemical analyses,we demonstrated that local KC proliferation mainly contributed to the restoration of liver macrophages after PHx.Peak KC proliferation was impaired in Il6-knockout(KO)mice and restored after the administration of IL-6 protein,whereas KC proliferation was not affected in Il4-KO or Csf2-KO mice.The source of IL-6 was identified using hepatocyte-and myeloid-specific Il6-KO mice and the results revealed that both hepatocytes and myeloid cells contribute to IL-6 production after PHx.Moreover,peak KC proliferation was also impaired in myeloid-specific Il6 receptor-KO mice after PHx,suggesting that IL-6 signaling directly promotes KC proliferation.Studies using several inhibitors to block the IL-6 signaling pathway revealed that sirtuin 1(SIRT1)contributed to IL-6-mediated KC proliferation in vitro.Genetic deletion of the Sirt1 gene in myeloid cells,including KCs,impaired KC proliferation after PHx.In conclusion,our data suggest that KC repopulation after PHx is mainly driven by local KC proliferation,which is dependent on IL-6 and SIRT1 activation in KCs. | Yeni Ait Ahmed Yaojie Fu Robim M.Rodrigues Yong He Yukun Guan Adrien Guillot Ruixue Ren Dechun Feng Juan Hidalgo Cynthia Ju Fouad Lafdil Bin Gao | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021，18，9： | 2 |
| 9 | A two variable refined plate theory for the bending analysis of functionally graded plates显示文摘Bending analysis of functionally graded plates using the two variable refined plate theory is presented in this paper.The number of unknown functions involved is reduced to merely four,as against five in other shear deformation theories. The variationally consistent theory presented here has, in many respects,strong similarity to the classical plate theory. | 10 | An Abstract Reachability Approach by Combining HOL Induction and Multiway Decision Graphs显示文摘In this paper, we provide a necessary infrastructure to define an abstract state exploration in the HOL theorem prover. Our infrastructure is based on a deep embedding of the Multiway Decision Graphs (MDGs) theory in HOL. MDGs generalize Reduced Ordered Binary Decision Diagrams (ROBDDs) to represent and manipulate a subset of first-order logic formulae. The MDGs embedding is based on the logical formulation of an MDG as Directed Formulae (DF). Then, the MDGs operations are defined and the correctness proof of each operation is provided. The MDG reachability algorithm is then defined as a conversion that uses our MDG theory within HOL. | 12 | Evaluation of adsorption capacities of humic acids extracted from Algerian soil on polyaniline for application to remove pollutants such as Cd(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) and characterization with cavity microelectrode显示文摘The adsorption capacities of new humic acids isolated from Yakouren forest (YHA) and Sahara (Tamenrasset: THA) soils (Algeria) and commercial humic acid (PFHA) on polyaniline emeraldine base (PEB) were studied at pH 6.6. Also the adsorption of heavy metals such as Cd 2+ , Zn 2+ and Ni 2+ on humic acid-polyaniline systems (HA-PEB) was investigated at the same conditions. HA-PEB compounds were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared spectrometry and cavity microelectrode. In addition, batch adsorption and cavity microelectrode were used in the adsorption study of Cd 2+ , Zn 2+ and Ni 2+ on HA-PEB. To develop biocaptors of polluting metals using a cavity microelectrode modified by HA-PEB systems, the adsorption kinetic and adsorption capacity were investigated. The SEM analysis showed that the presence of humic acid affected the PEB surface and caused the formation of a granular morphology. The maximum adsorption capacities (q max ) of PFHA, THA and YHA determined by adsorption isotherms were 91.31, 132.1 and 151.0 mg/g, respectively. Batch adsorption results showed that q max of Cd 2+ , Zn 2+ and Ni 2+ on HA-PEB followed the order: THA-PEB > YHA-PEB > PFHA-PEB. The voltammograms obtained with HA-PEB modified cavity microelectrode showed the appearance of new redox couples reflecting the adsorption of HA on PEB. Metal-humic acid-polyaniline voltammograms were characterized by appearance of oxidation-reduction couples or reduction wave corresponding to metal.
