| 1 | Seismic bearing capacity of strip footings on rock masses using the Hoeke Brown failure criterion显示文摘In this paper,the bearing capacity of strip footings on rock masses has been studied in the seismic case.The stress characteristics or slip line method was used for analysis.The problem was analyzed in the plane strain condition using the Hoeke Brown failure criterion.First,the equilibrium equations along the stress characteristics were obtained and the rock failure criterion was applied.Then,the equations were solved using the finite difference method.A computer code has been provided for analysis.Given the footing and rock parameters,the code can calculate the stress characteristics network and obtain the stress distribution under the footing.The seismic effects have been applied as the horizontal and vertical pseudo-static coefficients.The results of this paper are very close to those of the other studies.The seismic bearing capacity of weightless rock masses can be obtained using the proposed equations and graphs without calculating the whole stress characteristics network. | Amin Keshavarz Abdoreza Fazeli Siavosh Sadeghi | 2016 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2016，8，2： | 2 |

| 3 | Morphometric differentiation between camel and sheep strains of Echinococcus granulosus using computer image analysis system(CIAS)显示文摘Objective:To find importance of morphometrie criterion of larval rostellar hook of Echinococcus granulosus(E.granulosus) and the easy and reliable method for distinguish sheep and camel strains in epidemiologic studies.Methods:Larval rostellar hooks(n=1860) of 31 camel and sheep isolates in Iran,which aheady had been characterized by PCR.were carefully processed by computerized imagime analysis system(CIAS) and acquired data about rostellar books were analyzed using software SPSS.Results:Measurement analysis of rostellar hooks[mean Iength (24.23±3.12lμm]indicated that length of the large hook was a remarkable parameter for strain differentiation.Data analysis demonstrated that CIAS could be used as a reliable tool to distinguish camel from sheep strains with high sensitivity(95.2%) and specificity(91.5%). | 8 | Thermo-mechanical analysis of an SI engine piston using different boundary condition treatments显示文摘Heat transfer of an SI engine's piston is calculated by employing three different methods based on resistor-capacitor model with the help of MATLAB code, and then the piston is thermo-mechanically analyzed using commercial ANSYS code. The results of three methods are compared to study their effects on the piston thermal behavior. It is shown that resistor-capacitor model with less number of equations and consequently less solution time, is an appropriate method for solving problems of engine piston heat transfer. In the second part, the thermal stresses due to non-uniform temperature distribution, and mechanical stresses due to mechanical loads are calculated. Finally, the temperature distributions as a thermal load along with mechanical loads are applied to the piston to determine the total stress distribution and critical fracture zones. | 10 | Spatial outline of malaria transmission in Iran显示文摘Objective:To conduct for modeling spatial distribution of malaria transmission in Iran. Methods:Records of all malaria cases from the period 2008-2010 in Iran were retrieved for malaria control department.MOH&ME.Metrological data including annual rainfall,maximum and minimum temperature,relative humidity,altitude,demographic,districts border shapefiles. and NDVI images received from Iranian Climalologic Research Center.Data arranged in ArcCIS. Results:Results:99.65%of malaria transmission cases were focused in southeast part of Iran.
