1具有适应性突变和惯性权重的粒子群优化(PSO)算法及其在动态系统参数估计中的应用(英文)显示文摘An important problem in engineering is the unknown parameters estimation in nonlinear systems.In this paper,a novel adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) method is proposed to solve this problem.This work considers two new aspects,namely an adaptive mutation mechanism and a dynamic inertia weight into the conventional particle swarm optimization (PSO) method.These mechanisms are employed to enhance global search ability and to increase accuracy.First,three well-known benchmark functions namely Griewank,Rosenbrock and Rastrigrin are utilized to test the ability of a search algorithm for identifying the global optimum.The performance of the proposed APSO is compared with advanced algorithms such as a nonlinearly decreasing weight PSO (NDWPSO) and a real-coded genetic algorithm (GA),in terms of parameter accuracy and convergence speed.It is confirmed that the proposed APSO is more successful than other aforementioned algorithms.Finally,the feasibility of this algorithm is demonstrated through estimating the parameters of two kinds of highly nonlinear systems as the case studies.ALFI Alireza 2011自动化学报2011,37,5:44
2Cerebral ischemia and neuroregeneration显示文摘Cerebral ischemia is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Although stroke(a form of cerebral ischemia)-related costs are expected to reach 240.67 billion dollars by 2030, options for treatment against cerebral ischemia/stroke are limited. All therapies except anti-thrombolytics(i.e., tissue plasminogen activator) and hypothermia have failed to reduce neuronal injury, neurological deficits, and mortality rates following cerebral ischemia, which suggests that development of novel therapies again st stroke/cerebral ischemia are urgently needed. 3Computer vision-based apple grading for golden delicious apples based on surface features显示文摘In this paper,a computer vision-based algorithm for golden delicious apple grading is proposed which works in six steps.Non-apple pixels as background are firstly removed from input images.Then,stem end is detected by combination of morphological methods and Mahalanobis distant classifier.Calyx region is also detected by applying K-means clustering on the Cb component in YCbCr color space.After that,defects segmentation is achieved using Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP)neural network.In the next step,stem end and calyx regions are removed from defected regions to refine and improve apple grading process.Then,statistical,textural and geometric features from refined defected regions are extracted.Finally,for apple grading,a comparison between performance of Support Vector Machine(SVM),MLP and K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)classifiers is done.Classification is done in two manners which in the first one,an input apple is classified into two categories of healthy and defected.In the second manner,the input apple is classified into three categories of first rank,second rank and rejected ones.In both grading steps,SVM classifier works as the best one with recognition rate of 92.5%and 89.2%for two categories(healthy and defected)and three quality categories(first rank,second rank and rejected ones),among 120 different golden delicious apple images,respectively,considering K-folding with K=5.Moreover,the accuracy of the proposed segmentation algorithms including stem end detection and calyx detection are evaluated for two different apple image databases.Payman Moallem Alireza Serajoddin Hossein Pourghassem 2017Information Processing in Agriculture2017,4,1:28

5Treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection: Current and future insights显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) is an important major cause of peptic ulcer disease and gastric malignancies such as mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma and gastric adenocarcinoma worldwide.H.pylori treatment still remains a challenge,since many determinants for successful therapy are involved such as individual primary or secondary antibiotics resistance,mucosal drug concentration,patient compliance,side-effect profile and cost.While no new drug has been developed,current therapy still relies on different mixture of known antibiotics and anti-secretory agents.A standard triple therapy consisting of two antibiotics and a proton-pump inhibitor proposed as the first-line regimen.Bismuthcontaining quadruple treatment,sequential treatment or a non-bismuth quadruple treatment(concomitant) are also an alternative therapy.Levofloxacin containing triple treatment are recommended as rescue treatment for infection of H.pylori after defeat of first-line therapy.The rapid acquisition of antibiotic resistance reduces the effectiveness of any regimens involving these remedies.Therefore,adding probiotic to the medications,developing anti-H.pylori photodynamic or phytomedicine therapy,and achieving a successful H.pylori vaccine may have the promising to present synergistic or additive consequence against H.pylori,because each of them exert different effects.Maliheh Safavi Reyhaneh Sabourian Alireza Foroumadi 2016World Journal of Clinical Cases2016,4,1:21
6Strength evolution and deformation behaviour of cemented paste backfill at early ages: Effect of curing stress, filling strategy and drainage显示文摘In this study, a pressure cell apparatus is developed to investigate the early age evolution of the strength and deformation behaviour of cemented paste backfill(CPB) when subjected to various loading conditions under different curing scenarios. The different curing scenarios that are simulated include:(1)drained and undrained conditions,(2) different filling rates,(3) different filling sequences, and(4) different curing stresses. The findings show that drainage, curing stress, curing time and filling rate influence the mechanical and deformation behaviours of CPB materials. The coupled effects of consolidation, drainage and suction contribute to the strength development of drained CPB subjected to curing stress. 7Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and thyroid dysfunction:A systematic review显示文摘Thyroid hormones are totally involved in the regulation of body weight, lipid metabolism, and insulin resistance. Therefore it is anticipated that thyroid hormones may have a role in the pathogenesis of non alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) and non alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH). In this study, we reviewed the current literature on the association between thyroid dysfunction and NAFLD/NASH. A search for English language medical literature reporting an association between thyroid dysfunction and NAFLD/NASH in humans was conducted across PubMed, ISI Web of Science, and Scopus in August, 2013. Out of 140 studies initially identified through the search, 11 relevant articles were included in the final review. Thyroid dysfunctions in the form of overt or subclinical hypothyroidism are prevalent among patients with NAFLD/NASH. Hypothyroidism appears to be an independent risk factor for NAFLD/NASH in some studies; however, other newly published studies failed to find such anassociation. 8Stool-based DNA testing,a new noninvasive method for colorectal cancer screening,the first report from Iran显示文摘AIM:To detect tumor-associated DNA changes in stool samples among Iranian patients with colorectal cancer(CRC)compared to healthy individuals using BAT-26,p16 hypermethylation and long DNA markers.METHODS:Stool DNA was isolated from 45 subjects including 25 CRC patients and 20 healthy individuals using a new,fast and easy extraction method.Long DNA associated with tumor was detected using polymerase chain reaction method.Microsatellite studies were performed utilizing denaturating polyacrylamide gel to determine the instability of BAT-26.Methylation status of p16 promoter was analyzed using methylation-specific PCR(MSP).RESULTS:The results showed a significant difference in existence of long DNA(16 in patients vs 1 in controls,P < 0.001)and p16(5 in patients vs none in controls,P = 0.043)in the stool samples of two groups.Long DNA was detected in 64% of CRC patients;whereas just one of the healthy individuals was positive for Long DNA.p16 methylation was found in 20% of patients and in none of healthy individuals.Instability of BAT-26 was not detected in any of stool samples.CONCLUSION:We could detect colorectal cancer related genetic alterations by analyzing stool DNA witha sensitivity of 64% and 20% and a specificity of 95% and 100% for Long DNA and p16 respectively.A non-invasive molecular stool-based DNA testing can provide a screening strategy in high-risk individuals.However,additional testing on more samples is necessary from Iranian subjects to determine the exact specificity and sensitivity of these markers.Mohammad Reza Abbaszadegan Alireza Tavasoli Arash Velayati Hamid Reza Sima Hassan Vosooghinia Mehdi Farzadnia Hamid Asadzedeh Mehran Gholamin Ezzat Dadkhah Azadeh Aarabi 2007World Journal of Gastroenterology2007,13,10:14
9Simulation of a semi-industrial pilot plant thickener using CFD approach显示文摘Thickeners are important units for water recovery in various industries. In this study, a semi-industrial pilot plant thickener similar to the tailing thickener of the Sarcheshmeh Copper Mine was simulated by CFD modeling. The population balance was used to describe the particle aggregation and breakup. In this population balance, 15 particle sizes categories were considered. The Eulerian-Eulerian approach with standard k-e turbulence model was applied to describe two phases of slurry flow in the thickener under steady-state condition. The simulation results have been compared with the experimental measurements to validate the accuracy of the CFD modeling. After checking the numerical results, the effect of important parameters such as, feed flow rate, solid percentage in the feed, and solid particle size on the thickener performance was studied. The thickener residence time distribution were obtained by the modeling and also compared with the experimental data. 10利用力学试验和热加工图分析近α钛合金的热加工行为显示文摘利用热加工图对具有针状初始组织的Ti-5.7Al-2.1Sn-3.9Zr-2Mo-0.1Si (Ti-6242S)合金的热变形特征进行分析。单轴热压缩试验的温度为850~1000℃,应变速率为0.001~1 s-1。用热加工图确定合金的安全和不安全变形条件;利用扫描电镜(SEM)和光学显微镜(OM)分析合金的显微组织演变过程。研究发现,与在较低温度下变形相比,在1000℃下变形后合金在流动软化行为中的流动应力存在差异,这是由于显微组织发生变化。在950℃和0.001 s-1条件下变形,应变为0.7的两相区加工图表现出较高的功率耗散效率,约为55%,主要是由于发生大量球化。随着应变速率的增加和温度的降低,片层α相的球化减少,而扭折增加;最终,流动行为的失稳区发生在温度为850~900℃、应变速率高于0.01 s-1的条件下,其主要机制为局部流动和绝热剪切。综合考虑功率耗散效率和显微组织,理想的变形条件为:变形温度950~1000℃、应变速率0.001~0.01 s-1。该合金的最佳变形条件为:950℃,0.001 s-1。Maryam MORAKABATI Alireza HAJARI 2020Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2020,30,6:13
11Experimental study of ice accretion effects on aerodynamic performance of an NACA 23012 airfoil显示文摘In this paper,the effects of icing on an NACA 23012 airfoil have been studied.Experiments were applied on the clean airfoil,runback ice,horn ice,and spanwise ridge ice at a Reynolds number of 0.6 106 over angles of attack from 8° to 20°,and then results are compared.Generally,it is found that ice accretion on the airfoil can contribute to formation of a flow separation bubble on the upper surface downstream from the leading edge.In addition,it is made clear that spanwise ridge ice provides the greatest negative effect on the aerodynamic performance of the airfoil.In this case,the stall angle drops about 10° and the maximum lift coefficient reduces about50% which is hazardous for an airplane.While horn ice leads to a stall angle drop of about 4° and a maximum lift coefficient reduction to 21%,runback ice has the least effect on the flow pattern around the airfoil and the aerodynamic coefficients so as the stall angle decreases 2° and the maximum lift reduces about 8%.Sohrab Gholamhosein Pouryoussefi Masoud Mirzaei Mohammad-Mahdi Nazemi Mojtaba Fouladi Alireza Doostmahmoudi 2016Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2016,29,3:12
12H_∞ Consensus Control of Discrete-Time Multi-Agent Systems Under Network Imperfections and External Disturbance显示文摘This paper presents a distributed control protocol for consensus control of multi-agent systems(MASs) under external disturbances and network imperfections, including communication delay and random packet dropout. To comply with the discrete nature of networked systems, in contrast to most of the existing work for MASs under network imperfections,the agents are modeled by discrete-time dynamics. 13DRAG REDUCTION IN A TURBULENT CHANNEL FLOW WITH HYDROPHOBIC WALL显示文摘This paper investigates a theoretical prediction of friction drag reduction in turbulent channel flow which is achieved by using superhydrophobic surfaces. The effect of the hydrophobic surface is considered to be a slip boundary condition on the wall, and this new boundary condition is added to Large Eddy Simulation (LES) equations. The predicted drag reduction at Reτ=180 is approximately 30%, which concurs with results obtained from Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS). An important implication of the present finding is that the near-wall turbulence structures are modified with streamwise slip velocity. 14Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation of effect of baffles on separation in mixer settler显示文摘The main ideas in the development of the solvent extraction mixer settler focused on achieving clean phase separation,minimizing the loss of the reagents and decreasing the surface area of the settlers.The role of baffles in a mechanically agitated vessel is to ensure even distribution,reduce settler turbulence,promote the stability of power drawn by the impeller and to prevent swirling and vortexing of liquid,thus,greatly improving the mixing of liquid.The insertion of the appropriate number of baffles clearly improves the extent of liquid mixing.However,excessive baffling would interrupt liquid mixing and lengthen the mixing time.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) provides a tool for determining detailed information on fluid flow(hydrodynamics) which is necessary for modeling subprocesses in mixer settler.A total of 54 final CFD runs were carried out representing different combinations of variables like number of baffles,density and impeller speed.CFD data shows that amount of separation increases with increasing baffles number and decreasing impeller speed.Mohsen Ostad Shabani Ali Mazahery Mehdi Alizadeh Ali Asghar Tofigh Mohammad Reza Rahimipour Mansour Razavi Alireza Kolahi 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,5:12
15Analyzing drying characteristics and modeling of thin layers of peppermint leaves under hot-air and infrared treatments显示文摘The drying kinetics of peppermint leaves was studied to determine the best drying method for them.Two drying methods include hot-air and infrared techniques,were employed.Three different temperatures(30,40,50℃)and air velocities(0.5,1,1.5 m/s)were selected for the hot-air drying process.Three levels of infrared intensity(1500,3000,4500 W/m^2),emitter-sample distance(10,15,20 cm)and air speed(0.5,1,1.5 m/s)were used for the infrared drying technique.According to the results,drying had a falling rate over time.Drying kinetics of peppermint leaves was explained and compared using three mathematical models.To determine coefficients of these models,non-linear regression analysis was used.The models were evaluated in terms of reduced chi-square(χ^2),root mean square error(RMSE)and coefficient of determination(R^2)values of experimental and predicted moisture ratios.Statistical analyses indicated that the model with the best fitness in explaining the drying behavior of peppermint samples was the Logarithmic model for hot-air drying and Midilli model for infrared drying.Moisture transfer in peppermint leaves was also described using Fick’s diffusion model.The lowest effective moisture diffusivity(1.096×10^-11m^2/s)occurred during hot-air drying at 30℃ using 0.5 m/s,whereas its highest value(5.928×10^-11m^2/s)belonged to infrared drying using 4500 W/m^2 infrared intensity,0.5 m/s airflow velocity and 10 cm emitter-sample distance.The activation energy for infrared and hot-air drying were ranged from 0.206 to 0.439 W/g,and from 21.476 to 27.784 kJ/mol,respectively.Seyed-Hassan Miraei Ashtiani Alireza Salarikia Mahmood Reza Golzarian 2017Information Processing in Agriculture2017,4,2:12
16GIS-based landslide susceptibility mapping using numerical risk factor bivariate model and its ensemble with linear multivariate regression and boosted regression tree algorithms显示文摘In this study, a novel approach of the landslide numerical risk factor(LNRF) bivariate model was used in ensemble with linear multivariate regression(LMR) and boosted regression tree(BRT) models, coupled with radar remote sensing data and geographic information system(GIS), for landslide susceptibility mapping(LSM) in the Gorganroud watershed, Iran. Fifteen topographic, hydrological, geological and environmental conditioning factors and a landslide inventory(70%, or 298 landslides) were used in mapping. Phased array-type L-band synthetic aperture radar data were used to extract topographic parameters. Coefficients of tolerance and variance inflation factor were used to determine the coherence among conditioning factors. Data for the landslide inventory map were obtained from various resources, such as Iranian Landslide Working Party(ILWP), Forestry, Rangeland and Watershed Organisation(FRWO), extensive field surveys, interpretation of aerial photos and satellite images, and radar data. Of the total data, 30% were used to validate LSMs, using area under the curve(AUC), frequency ratio(FR) and seed cell area index(SCAI).Normalised difference vegetation index, land use/land cover and slope degree in BRT model elevation, rainfall and distance from stream were found to be important factors and were given the highest weightage in modelling. Validation results using AUC showed that the ensemble LNRF-BRT and LNRFLMR models(AUC = 0.912(91.2%) and 0.907(90.7%), respectively) had high predictive accuracy than the LNRF model alone(AUC = 0.855(85.5%)). The FR and SCAI analyses showed that all models divided the parameter classes with high precision. 17油藏数值模拟自动历史拟合方法——以Nelson油田为例显示文摘针对北海中部Nelson油田,研究油藏数值模拟自动历史拟合方法。完整的油藏自动历史拟合工作流程包括选择要调整的油藏变量、选择参数调整方法、自动历史拟合、数据分析、组合最优结果得到最优的油藏模型集5个步骤。以净毛比、水平渗透率、垂直渗透率为调整参数,采用全局单变量法、区域多变量法、局部多变量法等3种油藏参数调整方法,并结合生产数据和时移地震数据,对Nelson油田进行自动历史拟合。结果表明,局部参数调整方法减少了模拟中模型的数目和计算时间,提高了模拟精度,使得油藏中油水产量拟合误差大大降低,在Nelson油田应用效果最好。全局单变量法适合于历史拟合参数相互独立的情况;对于井网密度大且井间关联性强、历史拟合参数相互影响的油藏,最好选用区域多变量法进行参数调整;对于油藏历史拟合参数相互影响但每个选定调整区域相互独立的油藏,局部多变量法更加适用。Kazemi Alireza Stephen Karl D 2012石油勘探与开发2012,39,3:10
18A novel correlation for estimation of hydrate forming condition of natural gases显示文摘An inherent problem with natural gas production or transmission is the formation of gas hydrates,which can lead to safety hazards to production/transportation systems and to substantial economic risks. Therefore,an understanding of conditions where hydrates form is necessary to overcome hydrate related issues. Over the years,several models requiring more complicated and longer computations have been proposed for the prediction of hydrate formation conditions of natural gases. For these reasons,it is essential to develop a reliable and simple-to-use method for oil and gas practitioners. The purpose of this study is to formulate a novel empirical correlation for rapid estimation of hydrate formation condition of sweet natural gases. The developed correlation holds for wide range of temperatures(265 - 298 K) ,pressures(1200 to 40000 kPa) and molecular weights(16 29) . New proposed correlation shows consistently accurate results across proposed pressure,temperature and molecular weight ranges. This consistency could not be matched by any of the widely accepted existing correlations within the investigated range. 19Personality factors and profiles in variants of irritable bowel syndrome显示文摘AIM: To study the association between irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) variants (constipation,diarrhea,or both) and personality traits in non-psychiatric patients. METHODS: IBS was diagnosed using the Rome Ⅱ diagnostic criteria after exclusion of organic bowel pathology. The entry of each patient was confirmed following a psychiatric interview. Personality traits and the score of each factor were evaluated using the NEO Five Factor Inventory. RESULTS: One hundred and fifty patients were studied. The mean age (± SD) was 33.4 (± 11.0) year (62% female). Subjects scored higher in neuroticism (26.25 ± 7.80 vs 22.92 ± 9.54,P < 0.0005),openness (26.25 ± 5.22 vs 27.94 ± 4.87,P < 0.0005) and conscientiousness (32.90 ± 7.80 vs 31.62 ± 5.64,P < 0.01) compared to our general population derived from universities of Iran. Our studied population consisted of 71 patients with Diarrhea dominant-IBS,33 with Constipation dominant-IBS and 46 with Altering type-IBS. Scores of conscientiousness and neuroticism were significantly higher in C-IBS compared to D-IBS and A-IBS (35.79 ± 5.65 vs 31.95 ± 6.80,P = 0.035 and 31.97 ± 9.87,P = 0.043,respectively). Conscientiousness was the highest dimension of personality in each of the variants. Patients with C-IBS had almost similar personality profiles,composed of higher scores for neuroticism and conscientiousness,with low levels of agreeableness,openness and extraversion that were close to those of the general population. CONCLUSION: Differences were observed between IBS patients and the general population,as well as between IBS subtypes,in terms of personality factors. Patients with constipation-predominant IBS showed similar personality profiles. 20Modeling industrial thickener using computational fluid dynamics(CFD),a case study:Tailing thickener in the Sarcheshmeh copper mine显示文摘Separation of particles from liquid in the large gravitational tanks is widely used in mining and industrial wastewater treatment process.Thickener is key unit in the operational processes of hydrometallurgy and is used to separate solid from liquid.In this study,population balance models were combined with computational fluid dynamics(CFD)for modeling the tailing thickener.Parameters such as feed flow rate,flocculant dosage,inlet solid percent and feedwell were investigated.CFD was used to simulate the industrial tailing thickener with settled bed of 120 m diameter which is located in the Sarcheshmeh copper mine.Important factor of drag force that defines the rake torque of rotating paddles on the bed was also determined.Two phases turbulence model of Eulerian/Eulerian in accordance with turbulence model ofκ-ε.was used in the steady-state.Also population balance model consists of 15 groups of particle sizes with Luo and Lehr kernel was used for aggregation/breakage kernel.The simulation results showed good agreement with the operational data.Majid Ebrahimzadeh Gheshlaghi Ataallah Soltani Goharrizi Alireza Aghajani Shahrivar Hadi Abdollahi 2013International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,6:10
