1A Domestication-Associated Gene GmPRR3b Regulates the Circadian Clock and Flowering Time in Soybean显示文摘Improved soybean cultivars have been adapted to grow at a wide range of latitudes,enabling expansion of cultivation worldwide.However,the genetic basis of this broad adaptation is still not clear.Here,we report the identification of GmPRR3b as a major flowering time regulatory gene that has been selected during domestication and genetic improvement for geographic expansion.Through a genome-wide association study of a diverse soybean landrace panel consisting of 279 accessions,we identified 16 candidate quantitative loci associated with flowering time and maturity time.The strongest signal resides in the known flowering gene E2,verifying the effectiveness of our approach.We detected strong signals associated with both flowering and maturity time in a genomic region containing GmPRR3b.Haplotype analysis revealed that GmPRR3bH6 is the major form of GmPRR3b that has been utilized during recent breeding of modern cultivars.mRNA profiling analysis showed that GmPRR3bH6 displays rhythmic and photoperiod-dependent expression and is preferentially induced under long-day conditions.Overexpression of GmPRR3bH6 increased main stem node number and yield,while knockout of GmPRR3bH6 using CRISPR/Cas9 technology delayed growth and the floral transition.GmPRR3bH6 appears to act as a transcriptional repressor of multiple predicted circadian clock genes,including GmCCAIa,which directly upregulates J/GmELF3a to modulate flowering time.The causal SNP(Chr12:5520945)likely endows GmPRR3bH6 a moderate but appropriate level of activity,leading to early flowering and vigorous growth traits preferentially selected during broad adaptation of landraces and improvement of cultivars.Cong Li Ying-hui Li Yanfei Li Hongfeng Lu Huilong Hong Yu Tian Hongyu Li Tao Zhao Xiaowei Zhou Jun Liu Xinan Zhou Scott A.Jackson Bin Liu Li-juan Qiu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,5:11
2应用ISSR标记鉴定斑茅BC_2杂种真实性显示文摘斑茅[Erianthus arundinaceus(Retz.) Jeswiet]具有抗病虫、抗旱、抗寒、宿根性强等优点,是一种很好的种质资源。广大的甘蔗育种者做了大量的尝试,希望能把这些优良性状导入到现代甘蔗品种中,并取得了很大的进步,获得了一批F1和BC1后代。随后,又获得了一批BC2无性系。我们使用30个ISSR标记,对来自10个杂交组合的164个BC2无性系的杂种真实性进行鉴定。结果表明,有160个是真正的杂种,其中的138个同时具有父母本的特征带,另外22个仅具有父本的特征带,余下的4个无性系在本研究中还不能确定其杂种的真实性。总体来看,大部分组合仅用2个ISSR标记即可鉴定杂种的真实性,少数组合甚至仅用1个标记。这说明利用ISSR标记进行甘蔗杂种真实性的鉴定是可行且相当有效的。陈健文 Phillip A.Jackson 劳方业 刘睿 陈勇生 邓海华 2008中国糖料2008,30,1:8

4Genome-wide signatures of the geographic expansion and breeding of soybean显示文摘Soybean is a leguminous crop that provides oil and protein. Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c. 8Visual outcomes 24 months after LaserACE显示文摘Background:To evaluate the effects on near and intermediate visual performance after bilateral Laser Anterior Ciliary Excision(LaserACE)procedure.Methods:LaserACE surgery was performed using the VisioLite 2.94μm erbium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet(Er:YAG)ophthalmic laser system in 4 oblique quadrants on the sclera over the ciliary muscle in 3 critical zones of physiological importance(over the ciliary muscles and posterior zonules)with the aim to improve natural dynamic accommodative forces.LaserACE was performed on 26 patients(52 eyes).Outcomes were analyzed using visual acuity testing,Randot stereopsis,and the CatQuest 9SF patient survey.Results:Binocular uncorrected near visual acuity(UNVA)improved from+0.20±0.16 logMAR preoperatively,to+0.12±0.14 logMAR at 24 months postoperatively(p=0.0014).There was no statistically significant loss in distance corrected near visual acuity(DCNVA).Binocular DCNVA improved from+0.21±0.17 logMAR preoperatively,to+0.11±0.12 logMAR at 24 months postoperatively(p=0.00026).Stereoacuity improved from 74.8±30.3 s of arc preoperatively,to 58.8±22.9 s of arc at 24 months postoperatively(p=0.012).There were no complications such as persistent hypotony,cystoid macular edema,or loss of best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA).Patients surveyed indicated reduced difficulty in areas of near vision,and were overall satisfied with the procedure.Conclusions:Preliminary results of the LaserACE procedure show promising results for restoring visual performance for near and intermediate visual tasks without compromising distance vision and without touching the visual axis.The visual function and visual acuity improvements had clinical significance.Patient satisfaction was high postoperatively and sustained over 24 months.AnnMarie Hipsley David Hui-Kang Ma Chi-Chin Sun Mitchell A.Jackson Daniel Goldberg Brad Hall 2017Eye and Vision2017,4,1:0
