4Semi-tensor product approach to networked evolutionary games显示文摘In this paper a comprehensive introduction for modeling and control of networked evolutionary games(NEGs) via semi-tensor product(STP) approach is presented. First, we review the mathematical model of an NEG, which consists of three ingredients:network graph, fundamental network game, and strategy updating rule. Three kinds of network graphs are considered, which are i) undirected graph for symmetric games; ii) directed graph for asymmetric games, and iii) d-directed graph for symmetric games with partial neighborhood information. Three kinds of fundamental evolutionary games(FEGs) are discussed, which are i) two strategies and symmetric(S-2); ii) two strategies and asymmetric(A-2); and iii) three strategies and symmetric(S-3).Three strategy updating rules(SUR) are introduced, which are i) Unconditional Imitation(UI); ii) Fermi Rule(FR); iii) Myopic Best Response Adjustment Rule(MBRA). First, we review the fundamental evolutionary equation(FEE) and use it to construct network profile dynamics(NPD)of NEGs.To show how the dynamics of an NEG can be modeled as a discrete time dynamics within an algebraic state space, the fundamental evolutionary equation(FEE) of each player is discussed. Using FEEs, the network strategy profile dynamics(NSPD) is built by providing efficient algorithms. Finally, we consider three more complicated NEGs: i) NEG with different length historical information, ii) NEG with multi-species, and iii) NEG with time-varying payoffs. In all the cases, formulas are provided to construct the corresponding NSPDs. Using these NSPDs, certain properties are explored. 6Research on pricing,service and logistic decision-making of E-supply chain with‘Free Shipping’strategy显示文摘Considering the cost of logistic service and the‘Free Shipping’strategy,two models of E-supply chain,respectively dominated by e-commerce platform or manufacturer are constructed,and the optimal decisions for each model is calculated in this paper.The research indicates that:the sales price is lower and the profit of manufacturer is higher in the mode dominated by manufacturer.On the other hand,the platform’s service-level is lower and the profit of platform is higher in the mode dominated by dominant platform.Further,the sales price,platform’s service and platform’s profit will increase with the growth of commission and decrease with the service cost elasticity coefficient.Contrarily,the profit of manufacturer will decrease with the growth of commission but increase with elasticity coefficient.And,the logistic price and profit of logistic enterprise are higher in the mode dominated by manufacturer,moreover,they will decrease with the growth of commission.Yu-Yan Wang Jing Li 2018Journal of Control and Decision2018,5,4:12
7On the mechanism and control for the ultra-low frequency oscillation in NY Power Grid with large-scale hydropower显示文摘The power grid with large proportion of hydropower may engage the ultra-low frequency oscillation (ULFO),which threatening the operation of system.To the NY Power Grid system,whose dimension is over thousands,this paper reveals the cause of ULFO with the phase portrait method,i.e.,lies in the saturation of the different limits of the governor system of the generators,in other words,the occurrence of limit cycle is due to the non-smooth bifurcation.And furthermore,it proposes two methods to suppress ULFO with the philosophy of destroying the condition of non-smooth bifurcation.In detail,first,the phenomenon of ULFO in NY Power Grid,the damping characteristics and the limits in the governor system of the hydropower units are presented.Second,based on the non-smooth bifurcation theory,the mathematical basis of the oscillation in the non-smooth system caused by the saturation of limits is introduced.And then,the non-oscillation and oscillation dynamic of the system corresponding to without/with limits in the governor system are analyzed.Furthermore,it discusses the influence of the saturation of single limit on the characteristics of ULFO with the phase portraits.Moreover,the phase portraits of the ULFO under different faults is analyzed,and it shows that the limiting saturation occurs with a large enough disturbance.Thus,the ULFO is resulting from the negative damping of generation and the saturation of multiple limits under a large enough disturbance.In addition,according to the above mechanism,two strategies to suppress the ULFO,i.e.,the governor parameters tuning and the fault strength relief are designed.The simulation shows the effectiveness of proposed strategies.Ancheng XUE Jiawei WANG Chao ZHENG Joe H.CHOW Tianshu BI 2019Control Theory and Technology2019,17,3:11
8Circle formation control for multi-agent systems with a leader显示文摘In this paper, we focus on circle formation control of multi-agent systems(MAS) with a leader. The circle formation is achieved based on the lead-following and the artificial potential field method. A distributed control law is given to make a group of agents form a circle and consequently achieve an expected angle. 9Solving type-2 fuzzy relation equations via semi-tensor product of matrices显示文摘The problem of solving type-2 fuzzy relation equations is investigated. In order to apply semi-tensor product of matrices,a new matrix analysis method and tool, to solve type-2 fuzzy relation equations, a type-2 fuzzy relation is decomposed into two parts as principal sub-matrices and secondary sub-matrices; an r-ary symmetrical-valued type-2 fuzzy relation model and its corresponding symmetrical-valued type-2 fuzzy relation equation model are established. Then, two algorithms are developed for solving type-2 fuzzy relation equations, one of which gives a theoretical description for general type-2 fuzzy relation equations;the other one can find all the solutions to the symmetrical-valued ones. The results can improve designing type-2 fuzzy controllers,because it provides knowledge to search the optimal solutions or to find the reason if there is no solution. 11Model predictive control for hybrid vehicle ecological driving using traffic signal and road slope information显示文摘This paper presents development of a control system for ecological driving of a hybrid vehicle. Prediction using traffic signal and road slope information is considered to improve the fuel economy. It is assumed that the automobile receives traffic signal information from intelligent transportation systems(ITS). Model predictive control is used to calculate optimal vehicle control inputs using traffic signal and road slope information. The performance of the proposed method was analyzed through computer simulation results. Both the fuel economy and the driving profile are optimized using the proposed approach. 19Discrete-time dynamic graphical games:model-free reinforcement learning solution显示文摘This paper introduces a model-free reinforcement learning technique that is used to solve a class of dynamic games known as dynamic graphical games. The graphical game results from multi-agent dynamical systems, where pinning control is used to make all the agents synchronize to the state of a command generator or a leader agent. Novel coupled Bellman equations and Hamiltonian functions are developed for the dynamic graphical games. The Hamiltonian mechanics are used to derive the necessary conditions for optimality. The solution for the dynamic graphical game is given in terms of the solution to a set of coupled Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations developed herein. Nash equilibrium solution for the graphical game is given in terms of the solution to the underlying coupled Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations. An online model-free policy iteration algorithm is developed to learn the Nash solution for the dynamic graphical game. This algorithm does not require any knowledge of the agents' dynamics. A proof of convergence for this multi-agent learning algorithm is given under mild assumption about the inter-connectivity properties of the graph.
