Chronology and geochemistry of metavolcanic rocks from Heigouxia Valley in the Mian-Lue tectonic zone, South Qinling——Evidence for a Paleozoic oceanic basin and its close time显示文摘The metavolcanic rocks of greenschist fades developed at Heigouxia Valley in the Mian-Lue tectonic zone, South Qinling orogenic belt is a bimodal volcanic series. It is composed of K-poor, Na-rich tholeiite and dacite-rhyolite. The trace elements characteristics with flat REE pattern of these tholeiites are similar to those of MORB. The Sm-Nd whole rock isochron age of(242±21) Ma and Rb-Sr whole rock isochron age of (221±13) Ma of this metavolcanic series consistently indicate their rnetamorphic time. Their relatively high initial εNd value of +6.1 at the rnetamorphic age (242 Ma) suggest that the volcanic rocks were derived from a depleted MORB type mantle source. Their trace elements and Nd isotope compositions suggest an oceanic basin developed from a rift on the continental margin of the Yangtze Block during the late Paleozoic and closed in the Triassic, This is the first case clearly showing the existence of relict of late Paleozoic oceanic crust in Fast Qinling belt, which provides important | 李曙光 孙卫东 张国伟 陈家义 杨永成 | 1996 | Science China Earth Sciences1996,39,3: | 59

Contemporary crustal movement of continental China obtained by global positioning system(GPS) measurements显示文摘We obtain a unified horizontal velocity field of continental China and vicinity through measurements at 81 GPS stations provided by the National Key Infrastructure Project, Crustal Movement Observation Network of China. The velocity field delineates patterns of movements and deformation of active crustal blocks in continental China under the Eurasia-fixed reference frame. The space-based geodesy also clearly shows for the first time the horizontal movementand deformation of continental China induced by indentation of the Indian plate. The data provide kinematic constraints for simulating dynamic process of continental litho-spheric deformation. | MA Zongjin, CHEN Xinlian, YE Shuhua, LAI Xian, WEI Ziqing, CHEN Junrong, NING Jinsheng, XU Huoze & DING Guoyu1. | 4 | Management Recommendations on Sleep Disturbance o Patients with Parkinson's Disease显示文摘INTRODUCTION Sleep disturbance is one of the most common nonmotor symptoms in Parkinson's disease (PD).Sleep disturbance affects 40-98% of PD patients in the world. In China, the prevalence of PD patients with sleep disturbance ranges from 47.66% to 89.10%. Sleep disturbance usually has adverse impact on the quality of life of PD patients. Apossible pathogenesis of PD with sleep disturbance include thalamocortical pathway degeneration and changes of neurotransmitter systems. The etiology of sleep disturbance is multifactorial, involving degeneration of areas regulating sleep, sleep structure affected by drugs, sleep disturbance induced by drug, and sleep fragmentation by multiple factors. | Chun-Feng Liu Tao Wang Shu-Qin Zhan De-Qin Geng Jian Wang Jun Liu Hui-Fang Shang Li-Juan Wang Piu Chan Hai-Bo Chen Sheng-Di Chen Yu-Ping Wang Zhong-Xin Zhao K Ray Chaudhuri | 2018 | Chinese Medical Journal2018,,24: | 26
Constraint-induced movement therapy enhances angiogenesis and neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion显示文摘Constraint-induced movement therapy after cerebral ischemia stimulates axonal growth by decreasing expression levels of Nogo-A,RhoA,and Rho-associated kinase(ROCK)in the ischemic boundary zone. However,it remains unclear if there are any associations between the Nogo-A/RhoA/ROCK pathway and angiogenesis in adult rat brains in pathological processes such as ischemic stroke. In addition,it has not yet been reported whether constraint-induced movement therapy can promote angiogenesis in stroke in adult rats by overcoming Nogo-A/RhoA/ROCK signaling. Here,a stroke model was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion.Seven days after stroke, the following treatments were initiated and continued for 3 weeks:forced limb use in constraint-induced movement therapy rats(constraint-induced movement therapy group),intraperitoneal infusion of fasudil(a ROCK inhibitor)in fasudil rats(fasudil group),or lateral ventricular injection of NEP1-40(a specific antagonist of the Nogo-66 receptor)in NEP1-40 rats(NEP1-40 group).Immunohistochemistry and western blot assay results showed that,at 2 weeks after middle cerebral artery occlusion, expression levels of RhoA and ROCK were lower in the ischemic boundary zone in rats treated with NEP1-40 compared with rats treated with ischemia/reperfusion or constraint-induced movement therapy alone. However,at 4 weeks after middle cerebral artery occlusion, expression levels of RhoA and ROCK in the ischemic boundary zone were markedly decreased in the NEP1-40 and constraint-induced movement therapy groups, but there was no difference between these two groups.Compared with the ischemia/reperfusion group, modified neurological severity scores and foot fault scores were lower and time taken to locate the platform was shorter in the constraint-induced movement therapy and fasudil groups at 4 weeks after middle cerebral artery occlusion, especially in the constraint-induced movement therapy group.Immunofluorescent staining demonstrated that fasudil promoted an immune response of nerve-regeneration-related markers(BrdU in combination with CD31(platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule),Nestin, doublecortin,NeuN,and glial fibrillary acidic protein)in the subventricular zone and ischemic boundary zone ipsilateral to the infarct. After 3 weeks of constraint-induced movement therapy, the number of regenerated nerve cells was noticeably increased, and was accompanied by an increased immune response of tight junctions(claudin-5),a pericyte marker(a-smooth muscle actin),and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2.Taken together, the results demonstrate that, compared with fasudil,constraint-induced movement therapy led to stronger angiogenesis and nerve regeneration ability and better nerve functional recovery at 4 weeks after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.In addition,constraint-induced movement therapy has the same degree of inhibition of RhoA and ROCK as NEP1-40.Therefore,constraint-induced movement therapy promotes angiogenesis and neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury,at least in part by overcoming the Nogo-A/RhoA/ROCK signaling pathway. All protocols were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of China Medical University,China on December 9,2015(approval No.2015 PS326 K). | Zhi-Yong Zhai Juan Feng | 2019 | Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,10: | 22
Modified constraint-induced movement therapy alters synaptic plasticity of rat contralateral hippocampus following middle cerebral artery occlusion显示文摘Modified constraint-induced movement therapy is an effective treatment for neurological and motor impairments in patients with stroke by increasing the use of their affected limb and limiting the contralateral limb. However, the molecular mechanism underlying its efficacy remains unclear. In this study,a middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)rat model was produced by the suture method.Rats received modified constraint-induced movement therapy 1 hour a day for 14 consecutive days, starting from the 7^th day after middle cerebral artery occlusion.Day 1 of treatment lasted for 10 minutes at 2r/min,day 2 for 20 minutes at 2 r/min,and from day 3 onward for 20 minutes at 4 r/min.CatWalk gait analysis, adhesive removal test, and Y-maze test were used to investigate motor function, sensory function as well as cognitive function in rodent animals from the 1st day before MCAO to the 21^st day after MCAO.On the 21^st day after MCAO,the neurotransmitter receptor-related genes from both contralateral and ipsilateral hippocampi were tested by micro-array and then verified by western blot assay. The glutamate related receptor was shown by transmission electron microscopy and the glutamate content was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography. The results of behavior tests showed that modified constraint-induced movement therapy promoted motor and sensory functional recovery in the middle cerebral artery-occluded rats, but had no effect on cognitive function. The modified constraint-induced movement therapy upregulated the expression of glutamate ionotropic receptor AMPA type subunit 3(Gria3)in the hippocampus and downregulated the expression of the beta3-adrenergic receptor gene Adrb3 and arginine vasopressin receptor 1 A,Avprla in the middle cerebral artery-occluded rats.In the ipsilateral hippocampus, only Adra2 a was downregulated, and there was no significant change in Gria3.Transmission electron microscopy revealed a denser distribution the more distribution of postsynaptic glutamate receptor 2/3,which is an a-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole-propionic acid receptor, within 240 nm of the postsynaptic density in the contralateral cornu ammonis 3 region. The size and distribution of the synaptic vesicles within 100 nm of the presynaptic active zone were unchanged.Western blot analysis showed that modified constraint-induced movement therapy also increased the expression of glutamate receptor 2/3 and brain-derived neurotrophic factor in the hippocampus of rats with middle cerebral artery occlusion, but had no effect on Synapsin I levels.Besides,we also found modified constraint-induced movement therapy effectively reduced glutamate content in the contralateral hippocampus. This study demonstrated that modified constraint-induced movement therapy is an effective rehabilitation therapy in middle cerebral artery-occluded rats, and suggests that these positive effects occur via the upregulation of the postsynaptic membrane a-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole-propionic acid receptor expression. This study was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Fudan University,China(approval No.201802173 S)on March 3,2018. | Bei-Yao Gao Dong-Sheng Xu Pei-Le Liu Ce Li Liang Du Yan Hua Jian Hu Jia-Yun Hou Yu-Long Bai | 2020 | Neural Regeneration Research2020,15,6: | 19
Movement and strain conditions of active blocks in the Chinese mainland显示文摘The definition of active block is given from the angles of crustal deformation and strain. The movement and strain parameters of active blocks are estimated according to the unified velocity field composed of the velocities at 1598 GPS stations obtained from GPS measurements carried out in the past years in the Chinese mainland and the surrounding areas. The movement and strain conditions of the blocks are analyzed. The active blocks in the Chinese mainland have a consistent E-trending movement component, but its N and S components are not consistent. The blocks in the western part have a consistent N-trending movement and the blocks in the eastern part have a consistent S-trending movement. In the area to the east of 90°E, that is the area from Himalayas block towards NE, the movement direction of the blocks rotates clockwisely and the movement rates of the blocks are different. Generally, the movement rate is large in the west and south and small in the east and north with a difference of 3 to 4 times between the rates in the west and east. The distributions of principal compressive strain directions of the blocks are also different. The principal strain of the blocks located to the west of 90oE is basically in the SN direction, the principal compressive strain of the blocks in the northeastern part of Qingzang plateau is roughly in the NE direction and the direction of principal compressive strain of the blocks in the southeastern part of Qingzang plateau rounds clockwisely the east end of Himalayas structure. In addition, the principal strain and shear strain rates of the blocks are also different. The Himalayas and Tianshan blocks have the largest principal compressive strain and the maximum shear strain rate. Then, Lhasa, Qiangtang, Southwest Yunnan (SW Yunnan), Qilian and Sichuan-Yunan (Chuan-Dian) blocks followed. The strain rate of the blocks in the eastern part is smaller. The estimation based on the stain condition indicates that Himalayas block is still the area with the most intensive tectonic activity and it shortens in the NS direction at the rate of 15.2±1.5 mm/a. Tianshan block ranks the second and it shortens in the NS direction at the rate of 10.1±0.9 mm/a. At present, the two blocks are still uprising. It can be seen from superficial strain that the Chinese mainland is predominated by superficial expansion. Almost the total area in the eastern part of the Chinese mainland is expanded, while in the western part, the superficial compression and expansion are alternatively distributed from the south to the north. In the Chinese mainland, most EW-trending or proximate EW-trending faults have the left-lateral or left-lateral strike-slip relative movements along both sides, and most NS-trending faults have the right-lateral or right-lateral strike-slip relative movements along both sides. According to the data from GPS measurements the left-lateral strike-slip rate is 4.8±1.3 mm/a in the central part of Altun fault and 9.8±2.2 mm/a on Xianshuihe fault. The movement of the fault along the block boundary has provided the condition for block movement, so the movements of the block and its boundary are consistent, but the movement levels of the blocks are different. The statistic results indicate that the relative movement between most blocks is quite significant, which proves that active blocks exist. Himalayas, Tianshan, Qiangtang and SW Yunnan blocks have the most intensive movement; China-Mongolia, China-Korea (China-Korea), Alxa and South China blocks are rather stable. The mutual action of India, Pacific and Philippine Sea plates versus Eurasia plate is the principal driving force to the block movement in the Chinese mainland. Under the NNE-trending intensive press from India plate, the crustal matter of Qingzang plateau moves to the NNE and NE directions, then is hindered by the blocks located in the northern, northeastern and eastern parts. The crustal matter moves towards the Indian Ocean by the southeastern part of the plateau. | LI Yanxing (李延兴) YANG Guohua (杨国华) LI Zhi (李 智) GUO Liangqian (郭良迁) HUANG Cheng (黄珹) ZHU Wenyao (朱文耀) FU Yang (符 养) WANG Qi (王 琪) JIANG Zaisen (江在森) WANG Min (王 敏) | 2003 | Science China Earth Sciences2003,46,z2: | 17
Recent rapid shortening of crust across the Tianshan Mts. and relative motion of tectonic blocks in the north and south显示文摘Based on the multiple-epoch Global Positioning System observations during a period from 1992 to 1999, we document directly a rapid crustal shortening of -20 mm/a across the western Tianshan Mts. (76°E), in contrast to a 4 mm/a convergent rate across the eastern Tianshan Mts. (87°E) and the north-south convergence across the mountain belt descends laterally from west to east. The direction of current crustal movement inferred by GPS sites along the southern flank of the Tianshan Mts. is approximately perpendicular to the easterly-trending mountain belt, indicating that the Tarim Basin thrust almost rightly into the Tianshan Mts. The Tarim Basin accommodates nearly no or a minor, if any, crustal deformation and rotates clockwise, as a rigid body in a whole, at a rate of 0.64°/Ma around a Euler pole at 95.7° E, 40.3°N (Anxi, Gansu) with respect to the stable Siberia. | 9 | Early constraint-induced movement therapy affects behavior and neuronal plasticity in ischemia-injured rat brains显示文摘Constraint-induced movement therapy is an effective rehabilitative training technique used to improve the restoration of impaired upper extremity movement after stroke. However, whether constraint-induced movement therapy is more effective than conventional rehabilitation in acute or sub-acute stroke remains controversial. The aim of the present study was to identify the optimal time to start constraint-induced movement therapy after ischemic stroke and to explore the mechanisms by which constraint-induced movement therapy leads to post-stroke recovery. Sixty-four adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups: sham-surgery group, cerebral ischemia/reperfusion group, early constraint-induced movement therapy group, and late constraint-induced movement therapy group. Rat models of left middle cerebral artery occlusion were established according to the Zea Longa line embolism method. Constraint-induced movement therapy was conducted starting on day 1 or day 14 in the early constraint-induced movement therapy and late constraint-induced movement therapy groups, respectively. To explore the effect of each intervention time on neuromotor function, behavioral function was assessed using a balance beam walking test before surgery and at 8 and 21 days after surgery. The expression levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor, nerve growth factor and Nogo receptor were evaluated using real time-polymerase chain reaction and western blot assay to assess the effect of each intervention time. The results showed that the behavioral score was significantly lower in the early constraint-induced movement therapy group than in the cerebral ischemia/reperfusion and late constraint-induced movement therapy groups at 8 days. At 21 days, the scores had significantly decreased in the early constraint-induced movement therapy and late constraint-induced movement therapy groups. At 8 days, only mild pyknosis appeared in neurons of the ischemic penumbra in the early constraint-induced movement therapy group, which was distinctly better than in the cerebral ischemia/reperfusion group. At 21 days, only a few vacuolated cells were observed and no obvious inflammatory cells were visible in late constraint-induced movement therapy group, which was much better than at 8 days. The mRNA and protein expression levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor and nerve growth factor were significantly higher, but expression levels of Nogo receptor were significantly lower in the early constraint-induced movement therapy group compared with the cerebral ischemia/reperfusion and late constraint-induced movement therapy groups at 8 days. The changes in expression levels at 21 days were larger but similar in both the early constraint-induced movement therapy and late constraint-induced movement therapy groups. Besides, the protein nerve growth factor level was higher in the late constraint-induced movement therapy group than in the early constraint-induced movement therapy group at 21 days. These results suggest that both early(1 day) and late(14 days) constraint-induced movement therapy induces molecular plasticity and facilitates functional recovery after ischemic stroke, as illustrated by the histology. The mechanism may be associated with downregulation of Nogo receptor expression and upregulation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor and nerve growth factor expression. | Xi-Hua Liu Hong-Yan Bi Jie Cao Shuo Ren Shou-Wei Yue | 2019 | Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,5: | 11

Obtained SKOV3 stable strains with silenced HE4 were measured by proliferation, apoplosis, migration, and invasion. Results:Gene sequencing showed that the oligonucleotides were successfully inserted into the expected site. After silencing HE4 in the SKOV3,proliferation was significandy inhibited(P<0.05).G0/G1 phase was arrested by the cell cycle(P<0.01) and capacity of the migration and invasion decreased significandy(P<0.01).Slight early apoptosis ratio and no change of late apoplosis were found without change of Caspase-3 or Bcl-2 protein.Proteins involed in ERK pathway as phosphorylated protein as p-EGFR,p- ERK decreased and protease protein involved in tissue remoding as matrix metalloproteinases MMP-9,MMP-2 and cathepsin B decreased compared with control group.Conclusions:HE4 gene plays an important role in regulating proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion of serous ovarian cancer cells by ERK pathway and protease system. Its role in apoptosis needs to be further explored, and it may be a potential target for serous ovarian cancer. | Ya-Fei Zhu Guo-Lan Gao Sheng-Bo Tang Zhen-Dong Zhang Qing-Shui Huang | 2013 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2013,6,4: | 11 |
Seasonal vertical crustal mo-tions in China detected by GPS显示文摘By analyzing daily continuous data of Chinese Global Positioning System (GPS) fiducial network with 25 sites from 1999 to 2001, seasonal altitude variations with amplitude of 3-10 mm are detected. Most part of the variations can be explained by the seasonal vertical crustal movements caused by atmospheric pressure variation and mass loading redistribution of non-tidal ocean loading, snow, and soil moisture. Nevertheless, there exists a systematic discrepancy between GPS deduced result and the counterpart predicted by combining various geophysical sources. Much longer time series of GPS site coordinates and further studies are still needed to give out a reasonable interpretation for this discrepancy. | ZHANG Feipeng DONG Danan CHENG Zongyi CHENG Mingkang HUANG Cheng | 2002 | Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,21: | 11

The unconformity in Miocene sequence of western Qaidam Basin and its tectonic significance显示文摘An angular unconformity has been identified between the upper and the lower Youshashan Formation based on the study of the regional geology, drillhole, and geophysical data of the Altyn Tagh Mountain foreland, western Qaidam Basin. The distribution of the unconformity, the contacts between the upper and the lower Youshashan Formation, and its relation to the characteristics of the paleo-structure belts suggest a close relationship between the unconformities in the southern flank of the Altyn Tagh Mountain in the west of the Qaidam Basin and the activity of the Altyn Tagh Fault. It was the same time when the Atlyn Tagh Fault Zone was transformed from regional uplifting to rapid-strike-slipping movement during the Miocene, resulting in the cessation of the regional uplift and subsequent massive regional transgression during the deposition of the upper Youshashan Formation, which unconformably overlies (onlaps) the underlying strata of different ages. | WANG Liang XIAO AnCheng GONG QingLin LIU Dong WU Lei ZHOU SuPing SHEN ZhongYan LOU QianQian SUN XiaoWen | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,8: | 10
The Cenozoic activities of Yangjiang-Yitongdong Fault: insights from analysis of the tectonic characteristics and evolution processes in western Zhujiang(Pearl) River Mouth Basin显示文摘The Yangjiang-Yitongdong Fault (YJF) is an important NW-trending regional fault, which divides the Zhujiang (Pearl) River Mouth Basin (ZRMB) into western and eastern segments. In Cenozoic, the northern continental margin of the South China Sea (SCS) underwent continental rifting, breakup, seafloor spreading and thermal subsidence processes, and the Cenozoic activities of YJF is one part of this series of complex processes. Two long NW-trending multichannel seismic profiles located on both sides of the YJF extending from the continental shelf to Continent-Ocean Boundary (COB) were used to study the tectonic and sedimentary characteristics of western ZRMB. Using the 2D-Move software and back-stripping method, we constructed the balance cross-section model and calculated the fault activity rate. Through the comprehensive consideration of tectonic position, tectonic evolution history, featured structure, and stress analysis, we deduced the activity history of the YJF in Cenozoic. The results showed that the YJF can be divided into two segments by the central uplift belt. From 65 Ma to 32 Ma, the YJF was in sinistral motion as a whole, inherited the preexisting sinistral motion of Mesozoic YJF, in which, the southern part of YJF was mainly in extension activity, controlling the formation and evolution of Yunkai Low Uplift, coupled with slight sinistral motion. From 32 Ma to 23.8 Ma, the sinistral motion in northern part of YJF continued, while the sinistral motion in southern part began to stop or shifted to a slightly dextral motion. After 23.8 Ma, the dextral motion in southern part of YJF continued, while the sinistral motion in northern part of YJF gradually stopped, or shifted to the slightly dextral motion. The shift of the YJF strike-slip direction may be related to the magmatic underplating in continent-ocean transition, southeastern ZRMB. According to the analysis of tectonic activity intensity and rift sedimentary structure, the activities of YJF in Cenozoic played a regulating role in the rift extension process of ZRMB. | Yuhan Li Rongwei Zhu Hailing Liu Xuelin Qiu Haibo Huang | 2019 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,9: | 10
Tidally induced upwelling off Yangtze River estuary and in Zhejiang coastal waters in summer显示文摘MASNUM wave-tide-circulation coupled numerical model (MASNUM coupled model, hereinafter) is de-veloped based on the Princeton Ocean Model (POM). Both POM and MASNUM coupled model are ap-plied in the numerical simulation of the upwelling off Yangtze River estuary and in Zhejiang coastal waters in summer. The upwelling mechanisms are analyzed from the viewpoint of tide, and a new mechanism is proposed. The study suggests that the tidally inducing mechanism of the upwelling in-cludes two dynamic aspects: the barotropic and the baroclinic process. On the one hand, the residual currents induced by barotropic tides converge near the seabed, and upwelling is generated to maintain mass conservation. The climbing of the residual currents along the sea bottom slope also contributes to the upwelling. On the other hand, tidal mixing plays a very important role in inducing the upwelling in the baroclinic sea circumstances. Strong tidal mixing leads to conspicuous front in the coastal waters. The considerable horizontal density gradient across the front elicits a secondary circulation clinging to the tidal front, and the upwelling branch appears near the frontal zone. Numerical experiments are de-signed to determine the importance of tide in inducing the upwelling. The results indicate that tide is a key and dominant inducement of the upwelling. Experiments also show that coupling calculation of the four main tidal constituents (M2, S2, K1, and O1), rather than dealing with the single M2 constituent, im-proves the modeling precision of the barotropic tide-induced upwelling. | L XinGang1,2,3,4, QIAO FangLi1,2, XIA ChangShui1,2 & YUAN YeLi1,2 1 The First Institute of Oceanography, State Oceanic Administration, Qingdao 266061, China 2 Key Laboratory of Marine Science and Numerical Modeling (MASNUM), State Oceanic Administration, Qingdao 266061, China 3 Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao 266071, China 4 Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100039, China | 2007 | Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,3: | 9

Calculation of maximum ground movement and deformation caused by mining显示文摘In order to know the maximum mining ground deformation of arbitrary surface point, directions of the maximum surface tilt, curvature, horizontal displacement and horizontal deformation caused by multi-working faces were deduced based on probability integral method. The distribution forms of surface deformations in all direction φ∈[0, 2π] were obtained and also equations of maximum deformations were given based on calculation of mining ground deformation in direction φ. A mining subsidence analysis system was developed with VB6.0. The system implements the probability integral mining subsidence prediction with direct integration method, and it can avoid errors of arbitrary shaped working face subdivision of traditional method, and accuracy of mining subsidence prediction can be improved with the direct integral method. The system implements the contour chart and profile chart and also data analysis automation by manipulation of the SURFER kernel function and it complements the defect of existing subsidence prediction software. Calculation of maximum deformations caused by multi-working faces mining in a coal mine of Xuzhou, China was shown as application example. Engineering application indicates that maximum deformation of mining ground surface can be calculated and analyzed by the system. The research provides a theoretical basis and calculation tool for mining subsidence prediction and analysis. | LI Pei-xian1, 2, TAN Zhi-xiang1, 2, DENG Ka-zhong1, 2 1. | 20 | Design and field tests of a deck-extension bridge with small box girder显示文摘A jointless bridge could fundamentally eliminate vulnerable deck joints, thereby meeting the need for sustainable development of bridges, especially for an expressway with highspeed traffic. In this paper, one jointless bridge(deck-extension bridge) with a small box girder in an expressway was chosen as a case study to examine the structural design, construction and field test. The field tests of the bridge indicated that the designed and constructed structures can satisfy the requirement for service performance of the deckextension bridge. Some key technologies, such as the position of longitudinal reinforcements in the superstructure-approach slab connections and the arrangement of the sliding material layers, were introduced. The longitudinal thermal movement of the superstructure in the deck-extension bridge with a small box girder could be predicted accurately by using the average temperature of the cross section of a small box girder. The finite element model, built by using the MIDAS program, was used to analyze the temperature distribution on the cross section of a small box girder, the accuracy of which could be verified by comparing with the measured values. The maximum longitudinal thermal movement of the superstructure in deck-extension bridges with a small box girder under historically extreme temperature conditions was predicted. | Junqing Xue Bruno Briseghella Jianhui Lin Fuyun Huang Baochun Chen | 2018 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2018,5,6: | 7
