1Invasive mechanism and control strategy of Ageratina adenophora (Sprengel)显示文摘In order to ascertain the invasive mechanism and control strategy of the invasive Crofton weed, Ageratina adenophora, its ecological adaptability and population differentiation,the formation of single dominant population, displacement of native plants and sustainable management strategies were investigated. 4Application of several optimization techniques for estimating TBM advance rate in granitic rocks显示文摘This study aims to develop several optimization techniques for predicting advance rate of tunnel boring machine(TBM)in different weathered zones of granite.For this purpose,extensive field and laboratory studies have been conducted along the 12,649 m of the Pahang-Selangor raw water transfer tunnel in Malaysia.Rock properties consisting of uniaxial compressive strength(UCS),Brazilian tensile strength(BTS),rock mass rating(RMR),rock quality designation(RQD),quartz content(q)and weathered zone as well as machine specifications including thrust force and revolution per minute(RPM)were measured to establish comprehensive datasets for optimization.Accordingly,to estimate the advance rate of TBM,two new hybrid optimization techniques,i.e.an artificial neural network(ANN)combined with both imperialist competitive algorithm(ICA)and particle swarm optimization(PSO),were developed for mechanical tunneling in granitic rocks.Further,the new hybrid optimization techniques were compared and the best one was chosen among them to be used for practice.To evaluate the accuracy of the proposed models for both testing and training datasets,various statistical indices including coefficient of determination(R^2),root mean square error(RMSE)and variance account for(VAF)were utilized herein.The values of R^2,RMSE,and VAF ranged in 0.939-0.961,0.022-0.036,and 93.899-96.145,respectively,with the PSO-ANN hybrid technique demonstrating the best performance.It is concluded that both the optimization techniques,i.e.PSO-ANN and ICA-ANN,could be utilized for predicting the advance rate of TBMs;however,the PSO-ANN technique is superior.Danial Jahed Armaghani Mohammadreza Koopialipoor Aminaton Marto Saffet Yagiz 2019Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2019,11,4:15
5Competing endogenous RNA networks and gastric cancer显示文摘Recent studies have showed that RNAs regulate each other with micro RNA(mi RNA) response elements(MREs) and this mechanism is known as 'competing endogenous RNA(ce RNA)' hypothesis. Long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs) are supposed to play important roles in cancer. Compelling evidence suggests that lnc RNAs can interact with mi RNAs and regulate the expression of mi RNAs as ce RNAs. Several lnc RNAs such as H19, HOTAIR and MEG3 have been found to be associated with mi RNAs in gastric cancer(GC), generating regulatory crosstalk across the transcriptome. These MRE sharing elements implicated in the ce RNA networks(ce RNETs) are able to regulate m RNA expression. 6URBAN COMPETITIVE PATTERN AND ITS CHANGES IN CHINA显示文摘With the national economy’s transition from a planning one to a market one, the factors affecting regional economic pattern has changed greatly. In this paper we first construct an index system for evaluating competitiveness of Chinese cities based on modern competitive advantage theory. With principal component analysis and cluster analysis methods, we compare the factors affecling cities’ integrated competitiveness in 1990 and 1997. We find that four major factors are capital (including investment, FDI and urban financial revenue ), urban ithestructure (transporiation and communication, urbanization level, education etc. ), industrial performance and structure, degree of market openness and that these factors have become more advanced and complicated since 1990. Most Chinese cities are transforming from productive factors-oriented type to investment-oriented type and a few are becoming innovation oriented. The integrated competitiveness is closely related to cities’ scale, urban function, regional policy and degree of market openness and displays an uneven spatial pattern. The difference between the south and the north and the difference between the west and the east co-exist bul the former has been more larger. 7Optimal design of hybrid wind/photovoltaic electrolyzer for maximum hydrogen production using imperialist competitive algorithm显示文摘The rising demand for high-density power storage systems such as hydrogen,combined with renewable power production systems,has led to the design of optimal power production and storage systems.In this study,a wind and photovoltaic(PV)hybrid electrolyzer system,which maximizes the hydrogen production for a diurnal operation of the system,is designed and simulated.The operation of the system is optimized using imperialist competitive algorithm(ICA).The objective of this optimization is to combine the PV array and wind turbine(WT)in a way that,for minimized average excess power generation,maximum hydrogen would be produced.Actual meteorological data of Miami is used for simulations.A framework of the advanced alkaline electrolyzer with the detailed electrochemical model is used.This optimal system comprises a PV module with a power of 7.9 kW and a WT module with a power of 11 kW.The rate of hydrogen production is 0.0192 mol/s;an average Faraday efficiency of 86.9 percent.The electrolyzer works with 53.7 percent of its nominal power.The availability of the wind for longer periods of time reflects the greater contribution of WT in comparison with PV towards the overall throughput of the system.Arash KHALILNEJAD Aditya SUNDARARAJAN Arif I.SARWAT 2018Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,1:4
8A competitive RT-PCR-based approach to quantifying promoter activity of stress gene显示文摘Chloramphenicol acetyltransferase (CAT) as a stable reporter has been broadly adopted to detect promoter activity of many stress genes in eukaryotic cells. A simplified, convenient and relatively accurate assay to reveal CAT activities driven by heat shock gene promoter upon cell stress is reported here. A CAT mutant control plasmid pMCAT is constructed out of pBLCAT3, with a DNA segment within the CAT gene deleted. The control plasmid pMCAT along with the wild type CAT reporter gene driven by the regulatory sequence of hsp90β gene are co-transfected into Jurkat cells. Following total cellular RNA extracted and reverse transcribed, PCR is carried out to amplify two individual fragments with the same pair of synthesized primers, which bind to the identical sequences in both pMCAT and the CAT reporter plasmids. The two PCR fragments amplified from the reporter and control RNAs are identified by their size differences in agarose gel electrophoresis. The ratio of intensity of the two PCR bands in the same lane is taken as 'relative units of promoter efficiency' of a gene. The transcripts instead of CAT activity thus detected, may not only provide a closer look at the promoter activity of the stress gene but also normalize the efficiency of transfection simultaneously. With experimental conditions optimized, visible and reliable results can be obtained without using any sophisticated instruments. Since the results obtained with the RT-PCR approach are reproducible, much less troublesome and time-consuming, and comparable to our previous data, we thus take it as a conventional procedure for promoter activity assay of human hsp gene upon heat shock. 9莱克多巴胺快速检测竞争ELISA试剂盒的研制及其性能测定(英文)显示文摘Mixed anhydride(MA)was used to conjugate ractopamine(RAC)to BSA and obtained artificial antigen BSA-RAC identified by UV and SDS-PAGE.Balb/c mice were immunized with BSA-RAC and hybridoma lines that secrete RAC monoclonal antibody(mAb)were generated with cell fusion.A ciELISA kit for detection of RAC(RAC-Kit)was developed with RAC mAb and its performance were tested.The results indicated that BSA-RAC was successfully synthesized and its conjugation ratio of RAC to BSA was about 24.5∶1.Three hybridoma lines were filtered and the best one was 4D8-3E11,its affinity constant(Ka)was 1.65×1010 L/mol.The limit of detection of RAC-Kit was 0.5 ng/ml and its detection range was 0.5-184 ng/ml.The mean recoveries of RAC spiked in feed were 85.6% and in swine urine were 88.6%.The precision and accuracy of the assay as determined by inter-assay and intra-assay coefficient variation were below 15%.It had 9.4% cross-reactivity(CR%)to dobutamine and little or no CR to other compounds.The validity of RAC-Kit in 4 ℃ was in 180 d.张海棠 姜金庆 邓瑞广 王自良 2008Agricultural Science & Technology2008,9,5:3
10Development of ELISA and immunochromatographic assay for ofloxacin显示文摘Two rapid,sensitive and reliable immunoassay methods,namely competitive indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(CI- ELISA)and colloidal gold-based immunochromatographic assay(CGIA),were developed to detect ofloxacin(OFL).The linear range of the CI-ELISAwas from 0.5 to 128 ng/mL with a limit of detection(LOD)of 0.35 ng/mL.Good recoveries were obtained in analyzing simulated swine urine samples.The CGIA could accurately estimate OFL at concentrations as low as 10 ng/mL in less than 10 min,and test results were read visually without any instrument.Wu Yong Sun Wen Ying Liu Ling Bo Qu 2007Chinese Chemical Letters2007,18,9:3

12A competitive microcystin-LR immunosensor based on Au NPs@metal-organic framework(MIL-101)显示文摘An electrochemical immunosensor was developed for ultrasensitive detection of microcystin-LR in water. MIL-101, a porous metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) material based on trivalent chromium skeleton were synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method, and loaded with Au nanoparticles(Au NPs) to prepare Au NPs@MIL-101 composite materials which were used as a marker to label anti microcystin-LR(Anti-MC-LR). The composite materials have strong catalytic properties to the oxidation of ascorbic acid. Anti-MC-LR was immobilized on glassy carbon electrode surface using electrodeposition graphene oxide(GO) as an immobilization matrix to construct a competitive microcystin-LR immunosensor. The electrochemical immunosensor display linear relationship in the range of 0.05 ng/mL-75 μg/mL with linear correlation coefficient of 0.9951 and detection limit of 0.02 ng/mL(S/N = 3). This sensor was used to detect microcystin-LR in the water sample. The recovery was 102.43%,which is satisfied. 15Phase-field simulation of competitive growth of grains in a binary alloy during directional solidification显示文摘Taking Al-2%mole-Cu binary alloy as an example, the influence of grain orientation on competitive growth of dendrites under different competitive modes was investigated by using the three-dimensional(3-D) phasefield method. The result of phase-field simulation was verified by applying cold spray and directional remelting. In the simulation process, two competitive modes were designed: in Scheme 1, the monolayer columnar grains in multilayer columnar crystals had different orientations; while in Scheme 2, they had the same orientation. The simulation result showed that in Scheme 1, the growth of the dendrites, whose orientation had a certain included angle with the direction of temperature gradient, was restrained by the growth of other dendrites whose direction was parallel to the direction of temperature gradient. Moreover, the larger the included angle between the grain orientation and temperature gradient, the earlier the cessation of dendrite growth. The secondary dendrites of dendrites whose grain orientation was parallel to the temperature gradient flourished with increasing included angles between the grain orientation and temperature gradient. In Scheme 2, the greater the included angle between grain orientation and temperature gradient, the easier the dendrites whose orientation showed a certain included angle with temperature gradient inserted between those grew parallel to the temperature gradient, and the better the growth condition thereafter. Some growing dendrites after intercalation were deflected to the temperature gradient, and the greater the included angle, the lower the deflection. The morphologies of the competitive growth dendrites obtained through simulation can also be found in metallographs of practical solidification experiments. 17Competitive surface interactions of critical additives interacted with piston ring/cylinder liner components under lubricated running-in conditions显示文摘The running-in frictional experiments were conducted under simulated engine conditionswith actual piston rings and iron cylinder liner combinations. 18Electrically focus-tuneable ultrathin lens for high-resolution square subpixels显示文摘Owing to the tremendous demands for high-resolution pixel-scale thin lenses in displays,we developed a graphenebased ultrathin square subpixel lens(USSL)capable of electrically tuneable focusing(ETF)with a performance competitive with that of a typical mechanical refractive lens.The fringe field due to a voltage bias in the graphene proves that our ETF-USSL can focus light onto a single point regardless of the wavelength of the visible light—by controlling the carriers at the Dirac point using radially patterned graphene layers,the focal length of the planar structure can be adjusted without changing the curvature or position of the lens.A high focusing efficiency of over 60% at a visible wavelength of 405 nm was achieved with a lens thickness of <13 nm,and a change of 19.42% in the focal length with a 9% increase in transmission was exhibited under a driving voltage.This design is first presented as an ETF-USSL that can be controlled in pixel units of flat panel displays for visible light.It can be easily applied as an add-on to high resolution,slim displays and provides a new direction for the application of multifunctional autostereoscopic displays.Sehong Park Gilho Lee Byeongho Park Youngho Seo Chae bin Park Young Tea Chun Chulmin Joo Junsuk Rho Jong Min Kim James Hone Seong Chan Jun 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:2
19The interferon-stimulated exosomal hACE2 potently inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication through competitively blocking the virus entry显示文摘Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),it has become a global pandemic.The spike(S)protein of etiologic severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)specifically recognizes human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(hACE2)as its receptor,which is recently identified as an interferon(IFN)-stimulated gene.Here,we find that hACE2 exists on the surface of exosomes released by different cell types,and the expression of exosomal hACE2 is increased by IFNα/β treatment.In particular,exosomal hACE2 can specifically block the cell entry of SARS-CoV-2,subsequently inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro and ex vivo.Our findings have indicated that IFN is able to upregulate a viral receptor on the exosomes which competitively block the virus entry,exhibiting a potential antiviral strategy.Junsong Zhang Feng Huang Baijin Xia Yaochang Yuan Fei Yu Guanwen Wang Qianyu Chen Qian Wang Yuzhuang Li Rong Li Zheng Song Ting Pan Jingliang Chen Gen Lu Hui Zhang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,6:2
