1Spatial variability of soil total nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in Renshou County of Sichuan Basin,China显示文摘Understanding soil nutrient distributions and the factors affecting them are crucial for fertilizer management and environmental protection in vulnerable ecological regions.Based on 555 soil samples collected in 2012 in Renshou County,located in the purple soil hilly area of Sichuan Basin,China,the spatial variability of soil total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP)and total potassium(TK)was studied with geostatistical analysis and the relative roles of the affecting factors were quantified using regression analysis.The means of TN,TP and TK contents were 1.12,0.82 and 9.64 g kg^(–1),respectively.The coefficients of variation ranged from 30.56 to 38.75%and the nugget/sill ratios ranged from 0.45 to 0.61,indicating that the three soil nutrients had moderate variability and spatial dependence.Two distribution patterns were observed.TP and TK were associated with patterns of obvious spatial distribution trends while the spatial distribution of TN was characterized by higher variability.Soil group,land use type and topographic factors explained 26.5,35.6 and 8.4%of TN variability,respectively,with land use being the dominant factor.Parent material,soil group,land use type and topographic factors explained 17.5,10.7,12.0 and 5.0%of TP variability,respectively,and both parent material and land use type played important roles.Only parent material and soil type contributed to TK variability and could explain 25.1 and 13.7%of TK variability,respectively.More attention should focus on adopting reasonable land use types for the purposes of fertilizer management and consider the different roles of the affecting factors at the landscape scale in this purple soil hilly area.GAO Xue-song XIAO Yi DENG Liang-ji LI Qi-quan WANG Chang-quan LI Bing DENG Ou-ping ZENG Min 2019Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,2:19
2Recurrence of Helicobacter pylori infection:incidence and influential factors显示文摘Background:Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)eradication has been widely used.The recurrence rate of H.pylori after eradication and its related factors are gaining more and more attention.Our study aimed to determine the recurrence rate of H.pylori infection after successful eradication,and analyze its influential factors.Methods:We prospectively studied 1050 patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms who were diagnosed as H.pylori infection by gastroscopy and underwent eradication therapies from April 2013 to January 2014.The 13C-urea breath test(UBT)or Warthin-Starry(WS)staining was done at 8 to 12 weeks after the therapy.Patients with successful eradication were followed by repeated UBT or gastroscopy at one year and 3 years after therapy,as well as,questionnaire surveys.Recurrence was considered if the UBTs or WS staining of biopsy were positive.One-year and 3-year recurrence rates were calculated,and analyzed the differences between recurred patients and others in basic data,socio logical characteristics,lifestyle.Results:A total of 743 patients finished the 1-year follow-up,and the 1-year recurrence rate was 1.75%.Of the 607 patients who finished the 3-year follow-up,28 patients recurred,and the 3-year recurrence rate was 4.61%.Analysis of variance showed that lowincome,poor hygiene condition of dining out place,and receiving invasive diagnoses or treatments were significant risk factors for H.pylori infection recurrence.Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that the combination of invasive diagnoses or treatments,the level of income,and the hygiene standard of dining out place were significant and independent influential factors of the recurrence of H.pylori.Conclusions:The 1-year and 3-year recurrence rates of H.pylori infection after eradication therapy are 1.75%and 4.61%.Lowincome,poor hygiene condition of dining out place,and a combination of invasive diagnoses or treatments are independent risk factors of H.pylori recurrence.Yan Xue Li-Ya Zhou Hao-Ping Lu Jin-Zhe Liu 2019Chinese Medical Journal2019,,7:18
3REVIEW Risk Assessment of the Mycotoxin Ochratoxin A显示文摘Ochratoxin A (OA) is a mycotoxin which has been found to occur in foods of plant origin, in edible animal tissues, as well as in human blood sera and tissues. The ability of OA to move up the food chain is aided by its long half-life in certain edible animal species. In this report, an evaluation of the health risks to Canadians due to the presence of OA in food products is presented. The first part of the report deals with the physicochemical aspects, mycology, laboratory production, analytical methods, and natural occurrence in plant products, animal products, and human tissues. The stability of OA in foods and feeds, the effects of food processing, and the removal from foods and feeds by physicochemical means are also discussed. From these data, the worst case estimate for the daily exposure of Canadians to OA, from the consumption of pork-based food products and cereal foods, is approximately 5 ng OA/kg body wt (mean of eaters) for young children, the highest consumption group on a body weight basis. The second part of the report deals with the metabolic disposition as well as the available toxicity database for OA in laboratory animals, farm animals, and humans. The major target for OA toxicity in all mammalian species tested is the kidney, and endemic nephropathies affecting livestock as well as humans have been attributed to OA. OA is also teratogenic, and in the fetus the major target is the developing central nervous system. Recent studies have provided 'clear evidence' of the carcinogenicity of OA in two rodent species. OA was found to be nonmutagenic in various microbial and mammalian gene mutation assays, but weak genotoxic activity to mammalian cells was noted. In addition, OA was found to suppress immune function. Based on the NTP carcinogenicity study with OA in rats, the estimated tolerable daily intake in humans ranges from 0.2 to 4.2 ng OA/kg body wt, depending on the method of extrapolation used. In view of the toxic properties of OA, it is recommended that exposure to OA be kept to a minimum. In Canada, further monitoring programs are required to better define the overall residue profile of OA in cereal grains, animal feeds, animal food products, and human blood. Such data are required to better assess dietary exposure and to ascertain the need for regulatory controls or other control mechanisms. 4Application of the Levenberg-Marquardt Method in Improving Technology of the Seismic Influence Field显示文摘Attenuation relation of seismic intensity is fitted by using 152 complete isoseismic lines from65 earthquakes which were greater than MS4. 0 from 1940 to 2015 in Inner Mongolia and neighboring regions. Meanwhile,based on the difference of land form and geological structure characteristics,the study area is the divided into eastern,western and central.The intensity attenuation relationships are established separately by using the LM( Levenberg-Marquardt) method and elliptic attenuation model. Comparisons are made by using the earthquake affecting field model of North China and computed results. 6Distribution and affecting factors of selenium in soil in the high-Se environment of Yutangba mini-landscape显示文摘SELENIUM is an indispensable trace element to human beings and normal animals but if found in excessively high dietary concentrations, it can cause poisoning. The most severe example of selenium poisoning occurred at Yutangba, a typical Se-rich area in China which is situated in the northern part of ShuangheTown about 81 km east of En’shi City of the southwestern Hubei Province and the only place in the worldwhere people suffered from selenosis. In this area selenium is present mainly in the carbonaceoussiliceous rocks and carbonaceous shales of the Upper Permian Maokou Formation 210 m north of the Yutangba area. Selenium concentrations in Se-rich carbonaceous siliceous rock samples collected byZheng and Song were estimated at 6 471 mg/kg and 8 390 mg/kg, respectively. 11EFFECTS OF BENZIMIDAZOLE COMPOUNDS ON MICE INFECTED WITH SECONDARY CYSTS OF ECHINOCOCCUS GRANULOSUS显示文摘The effects of mebendazole (Meb), albendazole (Alb) and albendazole sulfoxide (AlbSO) on metacestodes of Echinococcus granulosus have been studied. The results show that Meb and Alb exhibit less effect on protoscoleces in vitro, but in vivo the protoscolicidal effect of Meb is higher than that of Alb. Both Meb and Alh are efficacious in the treatment of mice infected with secondary cysts of E. granulosus. In terms of the minimal effective dose required, the occurrence of collapsed and shrunk cysts after treatment, the drug-induced damage on the germinal layer and the relationship between the drug content in the cyst wall and the damage of germinal layer, the effect of Meb on metacestodes of E. granulosus is higher than that of Alb. 12CH_4 uptake flux of Leymus chinensis steppe during rapid growth season in Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘The influence of near ground atmosphere CH4 concentration, soil water content, soil Eh, plants, soil temperature, and pH on CH4 uptake flux of Leymus chinensis steppe during rapid growth season was studied using field in-situ measurement in Xilin River basin of Inner Mongolia, China. The results showed that CH4 uptake flux was positively correlated with near ground atmosphere CH4 concentration and soil Eh but negatively correlated with soil water content. Precipitation may decrease the CH4 flux by increasing the soil water content. The average fluxes of three treatments during the observation period were 1.52 (natural conditions, 1.51 (aboveground plants were excluded), and 2.00 mg m?2 d?1 (all plants were removed), respectively. The difference between the CH4 flux of natural condition treatment and that of removing aboveground plants treatment is small, whereas the flux of removing all plants treatment is larger than the other two treatments. This means that the contribution of aboveground plants to CH4 uptake flux is smaller than that of roots or roots-removing process. CH4 uptake flux is not sensitive to soil temperature and the narrow-ranged soil pH (6.36–7.86). 13Enrichment of trace cerium subgroup rare earths by means of ion flotation显示文摘The possibility of ion flotation of cerium subgroup rare earths (Ce-subgroup) wasexplored. Various factors affecting the flotation efficiency were investigated. The results showedthat, by using sodium tetradecyl sulfate as the collector of trace Ce-subgroup and frother, over 95%of Ce-subgroup at ng/g levels could be separated from pH 2.3 media in 10--15 min. 15EFFECT OF ALGAE AND WATER ON WATER COLOR SHIFT显示文摘This study showed that the combined effect of absorption of planktonic algae and water on water color shift can be simulated approximately by the exponential function:where are , respectively , extinction coefficients of seawater and chlorophyll -a (concentration is equal to X mg/ m3), and A (nm) is wavelength.This empirical regression equation is very useful for forecasting the relation between water color and biomass in water not affected by terrigenous material. 16Adsorption of Dissolved Organic Matter by Ferrallitic Soils显示文摘Batch experiments and XAD resin were used to investigate the adsorption of dissolved organic matter(DOM) by ferrallitic soils. The effects of soil properties and DOM characteristics on the adsorption were also studied to reveal the adsorption mechanism. The results showed that:(1) ferrallitic soils were high in DOM adsorption capacity,which increased with initial DOM concentrations,and the kinetics of DOM adsorption in the ferrallitic soils can be divided into the two stages: fast and slow reactions,it could be better fitted by first-order model;(2) the adsorption isotherms of DOM on ferrallitic soils could be better fitted by Freundlich equation,indicating the adsorption process was a physical multilayer adsorption process;( 3) for different soils,the adsorption capacity of DOM was listed as follows: rhodic ferralsol > haplic ferralsol > paddy soil,for example,adsorbing capacity of compost DOM was up to 594. 906,309. 317 and 206. 316 mg / kg in the initial concentration of 50 mg / L,positively correlated with CEC,free iron oxide,free aluminium oxide and clay content,while negatively correlated with sand content;(4) for different DOMs,higher hydrophobic DOM had the larger adsorption capacity,which listed as follows: compost DOM( H-DOM) > soil DOM( M-DOM) > straw DOM( L-DOM);(5) for different DOM components,the adsorption capacity decreased as follows: hydrophobic neutrals( HON) > acid-insoluble matter( AIM) > hydrophobic bases( HOB) > hydrophobic acids( HOA) > hydrophillic matter( HIM),and the chain structure of aliphatic alkanes and higher aromaticity in DOM were the key factors influencing adsorption capacity as revealed by fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy( FT-IR);(6)the contribution to DOM adsorption by different fractions was the result of their adsorption capacities and contents. For different hydrophobic DOM,hydrophobic matter's contribution( HO) was more than HIM,up to 69. 43%85. 08%. 20A STUDY OF IRON AND MANGANESE IN THE WESTERN MID-PACIFIC显示文摘Our study on the horizontal and vertical distribution , change pattern , and migration form origin of iron and manganese and the factors affecting them in surface sediment in the western Mid-Pacific and in columnar sediment of station L 2032 is introduced . The author inferred the lysocline and compensation depth of the ocean by using the content changes of Fe and Mn ;differentiated rapidly sedimentation types by using the difference of Fe and Mn contents , estimated tentatively their contents in different sediments by using the dyeability of Fe and Mn .
