2Research on the Mechanism of Penetration Increase by Flux in A-TIG Welding显示文摘The mechanism of penetration depth increased by activating flux in activating tungsten inert gas (A-TIG) weldingwas studied by measuring the distribution of trace element Bi in the weld and monitoring the change of arc voltageduring A-TIG welding of stainless steel 0Crl8Ni9 with fluxes SiO2 and TiO2. The results show that the mechanismof penetration depth in A-TIG welding depends on the sort of flux used. The weld pool convection after coating theflux SiO2 and flux TiO2 is changed inversely compared with convectional TIG welding without flux. The arc voltageis increased by flux SiO2 whilst flux TiO2 does not have effect on the arc voltage. The reason of penetration depthincrease for SiO2 is due to the constriction of arc plasma and the change of surface tension gradient. 4Tonifying Qi and activating blood circulation in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine: their effects in patients with myocardial infarction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of tonifying Qi and activating blood circulation(SQABC), a method in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), on end-point events in patients with myocardial infarction(MI) in this retrospective cohort study.METHODS: Clinical data were obtained from the medical records of patients with acute MI(AMI),both during hospitalization and follow-up, and included general demographic information(age, gender, and contact information), TCM regimens used,and end-point events.RESULTS: A total of 1596 patients with AMI were enrolled to this study, but data of only 1210 casesare accessible till follow-up. We classified the patients based on the exposure levels of SQABC.When comparing the results between all exposure and non-exposure groups, significant differences were identified, both during hospitalization and follow-ups. During hospitalization, cardiac death(4.40% vs 21.55%, P < 0.05) and cardiac shock(3.04% vs 11.62%, P < 0.05) were significantly lower in the exposure group than the non-exposure group. Similarly, during the follow-up, cardiac death(12.04% vs 20.49%, P < 0.05), acute heart failure(7.27% vs 11.81%, P < 0.05), composite endpoint of reinfarction and stroke(9.11% vs 15.28%,P < 0.05), and rehospitalization due to angina(25.49% vs 34.38%, P < 0.05) were significantly lower in the exposure group than the non-exposure group.CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that SQABC can significantly benefits the subjects in the management of high-risk AMI in them.Gao Wulin Dai Guohua Zhang Tong Bi Dongxue Liu Chunhua Shi Xiaojing Zhao Fang Zhao Chen 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,5:7

6Elevated Platelet Activating Factor Level in Ischemia-Related Arrhythmia and Its Electrophysiological Effect on Myocardium显示文摘Objective The mechanism through which platelet activating factor (PAF) induces cardiac electrical activity and arrhythmia is not well understood and previous studies have suggested a potential involvement of ion channels in its action. The present study was aimed to clarify the role of PAF in fatal arrhythmias following acute myocardia infarction (AMI) and the underlying mechanism. Methods (1) Blood PAF levels were measured among 72 AMI patients at the time of diagnosis with AMI and 48 h later, and their electrocardiogram (ECG) was recorded continuously. (2) Ischemia simulation and surface electrocardiogram were conducted in 20 pigs and their PAF levels were measured. (3) PAF perfusion and standard microelectrode recording were performed on guinea pig papillarymuscles. Results In both humans and pigs, elevated PAF levels were detected in AMI and simulated ischemia, respectively, and even higher PAF levels were found when fatal arrhythmias occurred. In guinea pig myocardium, PAF induced a shortening of action potential duration at 90% level of repolarization (APD 90 )under non-ischemic conditions and a more pronounced shortening under early simulated ischemic conditions. Conclusion AMI and ischemia are associated with increased PAF levels in humans and pigs, which are further raised when fatal arrhythmia follows. 7Neuroimaging characterization of recovery of impaired consciousness in patients with disorders of consciousness显示文摘Elucidation of critical brain areas or structures that are responsible for recovery of impaired consciousness in patients with disorders of consciousness is important because it can provide information that is useful when developing therapeutic strategies for neurorehabilitation or neurointervention in patients with disorders of consciousness.In this review,studies that have demonstrated brain changes during recovery of impaired consciousness were reviewed.These studies used positron emission tomography,electroencephalography/transcranial magnetic stimulation,diffusion tensor tractography,and diffusion tensor tractography/electroencephalography.The majority of these studies reported on the importance of supratentorial areas or structures in the recovery of impaired consciousness.The important brain areas or structures that were identified were the prefrontal cortex,basal forebrain,anterior cingulate cortex,and parietal cortex.These results have a clinically important implication that these brain areas or structures can be target areas for neurorehabilitation or neurointervention in patients with disorders of consciousness.However,most of studies were case reports;therefore,further original studies involving larger numbers of patients with disorders of consciousness are warranted.In addition,more detailed information on the brain areas or structures that are relevant to the recovery of impaired consciousness is needed.Sung Ho Jang Young Hyeon Kwon 2019Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,7:4
8Activating Flux Design for Laser Weldingof Ferritic Stainless Steel显示文摘The behaviors of YAG laser welding process of ferritic stainless steel with activating fluxes were investigatedin this study. Some conventional oxides, halides and carbonates were applied in laser welding. The resultsshowed that the effect of oxides on the penetration depth was more remarkable. Most activating fluxes improved thepenetration more effectively at low power than that at high power. The uniform design was adopted to arrange theformula of multicomponent activating fluxes, showing that the optimal formula can make the penetration depth up to2.23 times as large as that without flux, including 50% ZrO2, 12.09% CaCO3, 10.43% CaO and 27.48% MgO. 9前列腺癌组织凋亡蛋白酶活化因子1和bax的表达及其临床意义显示文摘目的:探讨凋亡蛋白酶活化因子1(Apaf-1)和bax在前列腺癌和前列腺增生组织中的表达及其意义。方法采用免疫组织化学法检测45例前列腺癌患者和60例前列腺增生患者Apaf-1和bax的表达。结果前列腺癌中Apaf-1和bax的阳性率分别为22.22%(10/45)、20.00%(9/45),低于前列腺增生组织的48.33%(29/60)、46.67%(28/60),差异均有统计学意义(χ2值分别为7.509、8.013,均P<0.05)。 Apaf-1和bax的表达和前列腺癌患者年龄及是否远处转移无关(P>0.05),与病理分级及临床分期相关(P<0.05),Apaf-1和bax在前列腺癌组织中的表达呈正相关性(r=0.535, P<0.001)。结论 Apaf-1和bax可能与前列腺癌的发生、发展密切相关。张丙信 赵霞 张金库 贾文文 张建树 孙建梅 贾喜花 2016肿瘤研究与临床2016,28,2:3
10不同时间窗中药对血管性痴呆小鼠脑神经递质的影响显示文摘目的:探讨中药益气活血方治疗脑缺血再灌注损伤致血管性痴呆小鼠的最佳时间。方法:利用反复结扎双侧颈总动脉方式建立缺血再灌注血管性痴呆小鼠模型,经不同时间窗的益气活血方治疗后,观察模型小鼠脑神经递质去甲肾上腺素(NE)、多巴胺(DA)、5-羟色胺(5-TH)的含量。结果:益气活血方即刻治疗组、3天后治疗组均可增加脑组织中去甲肾上腺素(NE)、多巴胺(DA)、5-羟色胺(5-TH)的含量,对缺血再灌注血管性痴呆小鼠有一定的保护作用,其中即刻治疗组疗效最佳。结论:中药益气活血方治疗血管性痴呆的最佳时间以即刻为最好,3天以内均可有一定的效果,在条件许可的情况下,应采取尽早治疗的原则。孙丽芳 张丽欣 高红 2014河北中医药学报2014,29,1:3
11Rho A signaling and blood pressure: The consequence of failing to “Tone it Down”显示文摘Uncontrolled high blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure and contributes to an estimated 25% of deaths worldwide. Despite numerous treatment options, estimates project that reasonable blood pressure(BP) control is achieved in only about half of hypertensive patients. Improvements in the detection and management of hypertension will undoubtedly be accomplished through a better understanding of the complex etiology of this disease and a more comprehensive inventory of the genes and genetic variants that influence BP regulation. Recent studies(primarily in pre-clinical models) indicate that the small GTPase Rho A and its downstream target, Rho kinase, play an important role in regulating BP homeostasis. Herein, we summarize the underlying mechanisms and highlight signaling pathways and regulators that impart tight spatial-temporal control of Rho A activity. We also discuss known allelic variations in the Rho A pathway and consider how these polymorphisms may affect genetic risk for hypertension and its clinical manifestations. 13头孢曲松对大鼠弥漫性轴索损伤后细胞凋亡的影响显示文摘目的探讨头孢曲松对大鼠弥漫性轴索损伤后海马CA1区神经元凋亡的影响。方法选择雄性Wistar大鼠120只,随机分为药物干预组(n=36):制作弥漫性轴索损伤模型,于制作模型后即刻给予头孢曲松200 mg·kg-1。假手术组(n=36):仅行头皮切开缝合处理,给予等量生理盐水腹腔注射。脑损伤组(n=36):制作弥漫性轴索损伤模型,给予等量生理盐水腹腔注射。正常对照组(n=12):不给予任何干预措施。采用免疫组化技术检测干预后12、24和36h时相海马CA1区凋亡蛋白酶激活因子-1(Apaf-1)蛋白的表达水平。结果脑损伤组和药物干预组大鼠海马CA1区Apaf-1蛋白表达水平均于12 h开始增加,24 h达高峰,此后逐渐下降。药物干预组大鼠海马CA1区Apaf-1蛋白表达水平在各个时相点均低于脑损伤组,均差异有统计学意义。结论弥漫性轴索损伤可引起大鼠海马CA1区神经元凋亡,头孢曲松可改善凋亡的发生、发展。张立民 杨鹏 司道文 李云 2015中国临床神经科学2015,23,2:2

16Ubiquitin-like modifier activating enzyme 2 promotes cell migration and invasion through Wnt/β-catenin signaling in gastric cancer显示文摘AIM To investigate the function and mechanism of ubiquitinlike modifier activating enzyme 2(Uba2) in progression of gastric cancer(GC) cells.METHODS Uba2 level in patients with GC was analyzed by Western blotting and immunohistochemistry. MTT and colony formation assays were performed to examine cell proliferation.Flow cytometry was used for cell cycle analysis.Wound healing and Transwell assays were conducted to examine the effects of Uba2 on migration and invasion.Expression levels of cell cycle-related proteins, epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) biomarkers, and involvement of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway was assessed by Western blotting. Activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway was confirmed by luciferase assay.RESULTS Uba2 expression was higher in GC than in normal tissues.Increased Uba2 expression was correlated with tissue differentiation, Lauren's classification, vascular invasion,and TNM stage, as determined by the analysis of 100 GC cases(P < 0.05). Knock-down of Uba2 inhibited GC cell proliferation, induced cell cycle arrest, and altered expression of cyclin D1, P21, P27, and Bcl-2, while upregulation of Uba2 showed the opposite effects. The wound healing and Transwell assays showed that Uba2 promoted GC cell migration and invasion. Western blotting revealed alterations in EMT biomarkers, suggesting the role of Uba2 in EMT. 17Weighted Gene Co-expression Network Analysis of Gene Modules for the Prognosis of Esophageal Cancer显示文摘Esophageal cancer is a common malignant tumor, whose pathogenesis and prognosis factors are not fully understood. This study aimed to discover the gene clusters that have similar functions and can be used to predict the prognosis of esophageal cancer. The matched microarray and RNA sequencing data of 185 patients with esophageal cancer were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA), and gene co-expression networks were built without distinguishing between squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. The result showed that 12 modules were associated with one or more survival data such as recurrence status, recurrence time, vital status or vital time. Furthermore, survival analysis showed that 5 out of the 12 modules were related to progression-free survival(PFS) or overall survival(OS). As the most important module, the midnight blue module with 82 genes was related to PFS, apart from the patient age, tumor grade, primary treatment success, and duration of smoking and tumor histological type. Gene ontology enrichment analysis revealed that 'glycoprotein binding' was the top enriched function of midnight blue module genes. Additionally, the blue module was the exclusive gene clusters related to OS. Platelet activating factor receptor(PTAFR) and feline Gardner-Rasheed(FGR) were the top hub genes in both modeling datasets and the STRING protein interaction database.
