1C-NOT gate based on ultracold Rydberg atom interactions显示文摘The Rydberg states of neutral atoms are strongly polarisable and possess long lifetimes because of high energies which can lead to strong and long range dipole-dipole interactions.The energy levels corresponding to these states are shifted because of dipole-dipole interactions and can be used to block transitions of more than one excitation in the Rydberg regime.This reputed Rydberg blockade is obtained when the excitation is shifted out of resonance by these interactions.Electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)is sensitive to a small detuning.At large distances,up to several micrometers,the interactions can interrupt the EIT consequence.Herein we investigate a novel scheme based on EIT and Rydberg blockade and performed a simulation of a controlled-NOT(C-NOT)quantum gate which is critical for quantum computation by using neutral atoms.RASHID Muhammad MAARTEN Hoogerland YASIR Jamil 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,11:4
2Testing the nonlocality of entangled states by a new Bell-like inequality显示文摘We test a new four-qubit entangled state by the former Bell-like inequalities and find that it violates these inequalities,but not maximally.According to this entangled state,we build a new Bell-like inequality,which is violated by this new state maximally.We also determine the nonlocality of some other four-qubit states by the new inequality.It is found that the new inequality acts as a strong entanglement witness for the new state.This can be used to test new entangled states experimentally.QI JianXia ZHA XinWei SUN XinMei 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,11:3
