| 1 | Optimization of N18 Zirconium Alloy for Fuel Cladding of Water Reactors显示文摘In order to optimize the microstructure and composition of N18 zirconium alloy(Zr-1Sn-0.35Nb-0.35Fe-0.1Cr,in mass fraction,%),which was developed in China in 1990s,the effect of microstructure and composition variation on the corrosion resistance of the N18 alloy has been investigated.The autoclave corrosion tests were carried out in super heated steam at 400 ℃/10.3 MPa,in deionized water or lithiated water with 0.01 mol/L LiOH at 360 ℃/18.6 MPa.The exposure time lasted for 300-550 days according to the test temperature.The results show that the microstructure with a fine and uniform distribution of second phase particles(SPPs),and the decrease of Sn content from 1%(in mass fraction,the same as follows) to 0.8% are of benefit to improving the corrosion resistance;It is detrimental to the corrosion resistance if no Cr addition.The addition of Nb content with upper limit(0.35%) is beneficial to improving the corrosion resistance.The addition of Cu less than 0.1% shows no remarkable influence upon the corrosion resistance for N18 alloy.Comparing the corrosion resistance of the optimized N18 with other commercial zirconium alloys,such as Zircaloy-4,ZIRLO,E635 and E110,the former shows superior corrosion resistance in all autoclave testing conditions mentioned above.Although the data of the corrosion resistance as fuel cladding for high burn-up has not been obtained yet,it is believed that the optimized N18 alloy is promising for the candidate of fuel cladding materials as high burn-up fuel assemblies.Based on the theory that the microstructural evolution of oxide layer during corrosion process will affect the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloys,the improvement of corrosion resistance of the N18 alloy by obtaining the microstructure with nano-size and uniform distribution of SPPs,and by decreasing the content of Sn and maintaining the content of Cr is discussed. | B.X. | 2 | Enhanced tensile properties in a Mg-6Gd-3Y-0.5Zr alloy due to hot isostatic pressing(HIP)显示文摘Hot isostatic pressing (HIP) was applied to Mg-6Gd-3Y-0.5Zr (GW63) alloy to reduce shrinkage porosity, thus, to enhance the integrity and reliability of castings. During HIP process, shrinkage porosity was closed by grain compatible deformation and subsequent diffusion across the bonding interface. The amount of initial shrinkage porosity was the key factor for shrinkage porosity closure. HIP was testified to be effective on shrinkage porosity reduction in GW63 alloy due to its relatively narrow solidification range and resultant low content of initial shrinkage porosity in most sections, leading to higher tensile properties both in as-cast and cast-T6 condition. The improvement in tensile properties was mainly because of shrinkage porosity reduction and resultant effective rare-earth (RE) elements homogenization and precipitation strengthening. | B. | 4 | High performance liquid chromatographic separation of thirteen drugs collected in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010(Ch.P2010) on cellulose ramification chiral stationary phase显示文摘The enantiomers separation of thirteen drugs collected in Ch.P2010 was performed on chiral stationary phase of cellulose ramification (chiralpak OD and chiralpak OJ) by high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) methods, which included ibuprofen (C1), ketoprofen (C2), nitrendipine (C3), nimodipine (C4), felodipine (C5), omeprazole (C6), praziquantel (C7), propranolol hydrochloride (C8), atenolol (C9), sulpiride (C10), clenbuterol hydrochloride (C11), verapamil hydrochloride (C12), and chlorphenamine maleate (C13). The mobile phase consisted of isopropanol and n-hexane. The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm and the fiow rate was 0.7 mL/min. The enantiomers separation of these thirteen racemates on chiralpak OD column and chiralpak OJ column was studied, while the effects of proportion of organic additives, alcohol displacer and temperature on the separation were studied. And the mechanism of some of racemates was discussed. The results indicated that thirteen chiral drugs could be separated onchiral stationary phase of cellulose ramification in normal phase chromatographic system. The chromatographic retention and resolution of enantiomers could be adjusted by factors including column temperature and the concentration of alcohol displacer and organic alkaline modifier in mobile phase. It was shown that the resolution was improved with reducing concentration of alcohol displacer. When concentration of organic alkaline modifier was 0.2% (v/v), the resolution and the peak shape were fairly good. Most racemates mentioned above had better resolution at column temperature of 25 1C. | 5 | Construction of hydrangea-like core-shell SiO_(2)@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@CoNi microspheres for tunable electromagnetic wave absorbers显示文摘Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene shows great potential in the application as microwave absorbers due to its high attenuation ability.However,excessively high permittivity and self-stacking are the main obstacles that constrain its wide range of applications.To tackle these problems,herein,the microspheres of SiO_(2)@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@CoNi with the hydrangea-like core-shell structure were designed and prepared by a combinatorial electrostatic assembly and hydrothermal reaction method.These microspheres are constructed by an outside layer of CoNi nanosheets and intermediate Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene nanosheets wrapping on the core of modified SiO_(2),engendering both homogenous and heterogeneous interfaces.Such trilayer SiO_(2)@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@CoNi microspheres are“magnetic microsize supercapacitors”that can not only induce dielectric loss and magnetic loss but also provide multilayer interfaces to enhance the interfacial polarization.The optimized impedance matching and core-shell structure could boost the reflection loss(RL)by electromagnetic synergy.The synthesized SiO_(2)@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@CoNi microspheres demonstrate outstanding microwave absorption(MA)performance benefited from these advantages.The obtained RL value was-63.95 dB at an ultra-thin thickness of 1.2 mm,corresponding to an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 4.56 GHz.This work demonstrates that the trilayer core-shell structure designing strategy is highly efficient for tuning the MA performance of MXene-based microspheres. | Huanhuan Niu Xuewen Jiang Yongde Xia Hailong Wang Rui Zhang Hongxia Li Bingbing Fan Yanchun Zhoua | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,4: | 3 |
| 6 | Effects of support pore size on new Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12)O_(40)/SiO_2 catalysts for the ring-opening polymerization of tetrahydrofuran显示文摘Mesoporous silica supported Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12)O_(40) catalysts were prepared by impregnation method,and several silica supports with different pore size were utilized.N_2 adsorption,XRD and ICP-AES techniques were utilized to characterize the silica supports and catalysts.XRD results showed that the dispersion of Cs_(2.5)H_(0.5)PW_(12) was better for the silica support with larger pore size.The catalytic activity results showed that the pore size played important role on the catalyst activity and the molecular weight of PTHF.
