| 1 | Enhanced oxygen reduction reaction performance of Co@N–C derived from metal-organic frameworks ZIF-67 via a continuous microchannel reactor显示文摘Traditional methods of preparing metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)compounds have the disadvantages such as poor dispersion,inefficient and discontinuous process.In this work,microchannel reactor is used to prepare MOFs-derived zeolite-imidazole material via flash nanoprecipitation to form ZIF-67+PEI(FNP),which reduces the MOF synthesis time down to millisecond time interval while keeping the synthesized ZIF-67+PEI(FNP)highly dispersed.The Co@N–C(FNP)catalyst obtained by flash nanoprecipitation and carbonization has a higher Co content and thus more active sites for oxygen reduction reaction than the Co@N–C(DM)catalyst prepared by direct mixing method.Electrochemical tests show that the Co@N–C(FNP)catalyst prepared by this method has excellent oxygen reduction performance,good methanol resistance and high stability.The onset potential and half-wave potential of Co@N–C(FNP)are 0.92 VRHE and 0.83 VRHE,respectively,which are higher than that of Co@N–C(DM)(Eonset=0.90 VRHEand E1/2=0.83VRHE).Moreover,the Zn-air battery assembled with Co@N–C(FNP)as the cathode catalyst has high open circuit voltage,high power density and large specific capacity.The performance of these batteries has been comparable to that of Pt/C assembled batteries.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations confirm that the Co(220)crystal plane present in Co@N–C(FNP)have stronger adsorption energy than that of Co(111)crystal plane in Co@N–C(DM),leading to better electrocatalytic performance of the former. | Chenxu Wang Huifang Yuan Feng Yu Jie Zhang Yangyang Li Wentao Bao Zhimou Wang Ke Lu Jie Yu Ge Bai Gang Wang Banghua Peng Lili Zhang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1: | 2 |

| 5 | Tandem Molecular Self-Assembly Selectively Inhibits Lung Cancer Cells by Inducing Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress显示文摘The selective formation of nanomaterials in cancer cells and tumors holds great promise for cancer diagnostics and therapy.Until now,most strategies rely on a single trigger to control the formation of nanomaterials in situ.The combination of two or more triggers may provide for more sophisticated means of manipulation.In this study,we rationally designed a molecule(Comp.1)capable of responding to two enzymes,alkaline phosphatase(ALP),and reductase.Since the A549 lung cancer cell line showed elevated levels of extracellular ALP and intracellular reductase,we demonstrated that Comp.1 responded in a stepwise fashion to those two enzymes and displayed a tandem molecular self-assembly behavior.The selective formation of nanofibers in the mitochondria of the lung cancer cells led to the disruption of the mitochondrial membrane,resulting in an increased level of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and the release of cytochrome C(Cyt C).ROS can react with proteins,resulting in endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress and the unfolded protein response(UPR).This severe ER stress led to disruption of the ER,formation of vacuoles,and ultimately,apoptosis of the A549 cells.Therefore,Comp.1 could selectively inhibit lung cancer cells in vitro and A549 xenograft tumors in vivo.Our study provides a novel strategy for the selective formation of nanomaterials in lung cancer cells,which is powerful and promising for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. | Debin Zheng Yumiao Chen Sifan Ai Renshu Zhang Zhengfeng Gao Chunhui Liang Li Cao Yaoxia Chen Zhangyong Hong Yang Shi Ling Wang Xingyi Li Zhimou Yang | 2019 | Research2019,,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Organelle-inspired supramolecular nanomedicine to precisely abolish liver tumor growth and metastasis显示文摘Organelles are responsible for the efficient storage and transport of substances in living systems.A myriad of extracellular vesicles(EVs)acts as a bridge to exchange signaling molecules in cell-cell communication,and the highly dynamic tubulins and actins contribute to efficient intracellular substance transport.The inexhaustible cues of natural cargo delivery by organelles inspire researchers to explore the construction of biomimetic architectures for“smart”delivery carriers.Herein,we report a 10-hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT)-peptide conjugate HpYss that simulates the artificial EV-to-filament transformation process for precise liver cancer therapy.Under the sequential stimulus of extracellular alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and intracellular glutathione(GSH),HpYss proceeds via tandem self-assembly with a morphological transformation from nanoparticles to nanofibers.The experimental phase diagram elucidates the influence of ALP and GSH contents on the self-assembled nanostructures.In addition,the dynamic transformation of organelle-mimetic architectures that are formed by HpYss in HepG2 cells enables the efficient delivery of the anticancer drug HCPT to the nucleus,and the size-shape change from extracellular nanoparticles(50-100 nm)to intracellular nanofibers(4-9 nm)is verified to be of key importance for nuclear delivery.Nuclear targeting of HpYss amplifies apoptosis,thus significantly enhancing the inhibitory effect of HCPT(>10-fold)to HepG2 cells.Benefitting from the spatiotemporally controlled nanostructures,HpYss exhibited deep penetration,enhanced accumulation,and long-term retention in multicellular spheroid and xenograft models,potently abolishing liver tumor growth and preventing lung metastasis.We envision that our organelle-mimicking delivery strategy provides a novel paradigm for designing nanomedicine to cancer therapy. | Jie Zhan Yuhan Wang Shaodan Ma Qin Qin Ling Wang Yanbin Cai Zhimou Yang | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,3: | 1 |

| 17 | Recovery of Cu(Ⅱ) from aqueous solution by induced crystallization in a long-term operation显示文摘The feasibility of copper recovery by induced crystallization in a long period(174 days) was investigated in a seeded fluidized bed reactor(FBR). The process was divided into 3 periods according to different influent conditions, and the period III was separated into III-a and IIIb due to the adjustment of the molar ratio of CO_3^(2-)concentration to copper concentration([CT]/[Cu^(2+)]). The removal efficiency could exceed 95% and the average effluent copper concentration decreased to 3.0 mg/L. The mean particle size of seed grains with copper crystals coating on, raised to 0.36 mm from initial 0.18 mm. During period III-a, the supersaturation exceeded 2.88 × 104, the removal efficiency decreased to 60%–80% and the particle size dropped to 0.30 mm, due to the generation of fines by homogeneous crystallization and seeds breaking. And the morphology of the crystals on the seed grains changed from rod-like to spherical which lead to the particle size decreasing. In period III-b,the supersaturation was modified by adjusting the molar ratio of [CT]/[Cu2+] to 1.2 from 2.The efficiency was back to 95% and the mean particle size grew to 0.36 mm at the end of IIIb, the crystals coating on the seeds turned back to rod-like products of good stability.
