| 1 | Preparation,characterization of Mo,Ag-loaded BiVO_4 and comparison of their degradation of methylene blue显示文摘Two types of metal-loaded visible-light-driven photocatalysts,Mo-BiVO4and Ag-BiVO4,were synthesized by wet impregnation method.Material poperties were characterized by UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,field emission scanning electron microscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and low temperature nitrogen adsorption-desorption.Photocatalytic activity of the obtained materials was investigated through degrading methylene blue(MB) solution under visible-light irradiation.The results reveal that both metal loaded-BiVO4catalysts have monoclinic scheelite structure.Mo and Ag exist as oxides on the surface of the particles.The changes of absorption in visible-light region,band gap(E g) and specific surface area(A BET) caused by loading Ag are more obvious than those caused by loading Mo.But the isoelectric point of Ag-BiVO4decreases less than that of Mo-BiVO4does.Both catalysts show higher photocatalytic activity than pure BiVO4,resulting in the significantly improved efficiency of degradation of MB.And the degradation efficiency of these two metal-loaded BiVO4photocatalysts is similar to each other.However,mechanisms of such enhancement are different.The decrease of isoelectric point helps Mo-BiVO4improve the degradation efficiency.As for Ag-BiVO4,the augmentation of absorption in visible-light region as well as the abatement of E g plays more important roles. | LIU KunJie CHANG ZhiDong LI WenJun CHE Ping ZHOU HuaLei | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,9: | 10 |
| 2 | The novel H1N1 Influenza A global airline transmission and early warning without travel containments显示文摘A novel influenza A (H1N1) has been spreading worldwide. Early studies implied that international air travels might be key cause of a severe potential pandemic without appropriate containments. In this study, early outbreaks in Mexico and some cities of United States were used to estimate the preliminary epidemic parameters by applying adjusted SEIR epidemiological model, indicating transmissibility infectivity of the virus. According to the findings, a new spatial allocation model totally based on the real-time airline data was established to assess the potential spreading of H1N1 from Mexico to the world. Our estimates find the basic reproductive number R0 of H1N1 is around 3.4, and the effective reproductive number fall sharply by effective containment strategies. | 3 | Extraction of lithium from the simulated pyrometallurgical slag of spent lithium-ion batteries by binary eutectic molten carbonates显示文摘The effective and low-temperature extraction of lithium from the pyrometallurgical slag of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)remains a great challenge.Herein,potassium carbonate/sodium carbonate(K_(2)CO_(3)/Na_(2)CO_(3)),which could form a eutectic molten salt system at 720℃,was used as a roasting agent to extract lithium from pyrometallurgical slag.Lithium was successfully extracted from the slag by K_(2)CO_(3)/Na_(2)CO_(3) roasting followed by water leaching.Theoretical calculation results indicate that the lengths of Li-O bonds increase after K^(+)/Na^(+)adsorption,resulting in the easy release of Li^(+)from the LiAlSi_(2)O_(6) lattice after roasting with K_(2)CO_(3)/Na_(2)CO_(3).Thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimetry results indicate that the eutectic phenomenon of K_(2)CO_(3) and Na_(2)CO_(3) could be observed at 720℃ and that the reaction of the slag and eutectic molten salts occurs at temperatures above 720℃.X-ray diffraction results suggest that Li^(+)in the slag is exchanged by K^(+)in K_(2)CO_(3) with the concurrent formation of KAlSiO_(4),while Na_(2)CO_(3) mainly functions as a fluxing agent.The lithium extraction efficiency can reach 93.87%under the optimal conditions of a roasting temperature of 740℃,roasting time of 30 min,leaching temperature of 50℃,leaching time of 40 min,and water/roasted sample mass ratio of 10:1.This work provides a new system for extracting lithium from the pyrometallurgical slag of spent LIBs. | Hui Dang Zhidong Chang Hualei Zhou Sihang Ma Min Li Jialing Xiang | 2022 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,9: | 2 |
