| 2 | Geochemistry of rare-earth elements in shallow groundwater, northeastern Guangdong Province, China显示文摘Shallow groundwater and hot springs were collected from northeastern Guangdong Province, Southeast China, to determine the concentrations and fractionation patterns of rare-earth elements(REE). The results show that the La, Ce and Nd of REEs are abundant in groundwater and rock samples, and the ∑REE contents in groundwater and rock samples range from 126.5 to 2875.3 ng/L, and 79.44 to 385.85 mg/L, respectively. The shallow groundwater has slightly HREE-enriched PAAS-normalized patterns. However, the granitic rocks PAAS-normalized patterns, with remarkable negative Eu anomalies, are different from that of shallow groundwater. The enrichment of HREE is considered to be controlled by REE complexation and readsorption for most groundwater has Ce and Eu positive anomalies. The Ce and Eu anomalies in groundwater are controlled by redox conditions. Moreover, the Fe-contain sediments dissolution and/or the reduction of Fe oxyhydroxides are another factor contributing to Ce anomalies. | 3 | A laser light scattering study of the interaction between human serum albumin and ampicillin sodium显示文摘The complexes formed by the interaction of human serum albumin and ampicillin sodium in aqueous solutions were investigated at 25 ± 0.1℃, ionic strength I = 0.085 mol·kg-1, pH 4.9, 5.8 and 7.4. The results of static light scattering have suggested that at pH 7.4, 5.8, 4.9, the molecular weight of the protein/drug complexes is 210,000 g·mol-1, 418,000 g·mol-1, 448,000 g·mol-1, re- spectively. The z-average root-mean-square radius of gyration and the second virial coefficients de- crease with pH decreasing. Dynamic light scattering provides information on diffusion coefficient and particle distributions of protein/drug complexes under different conditions, which suggests a broad hydrodynamic diameter range of scatters. | 4 | Preparation and application of iron oxide/persimmon tannin/graphene oxide nanocomposites for efficient adsorption of erbium from aqueous solution显示文摘Rare earth elements(REEs)are used for the developme nt of new energy materials owing to their intrinsic physicochemical property.However,excess REEs in water threaten the safety of animals,plants and humans.An efficient way to separate REEs from the water is therefore needed.In this study,a biosorbent consisting of iron oxide(Fe3 O4),persimmon tannin(PT),and graphene oxide(GO)as Fe3 O4/PT/GO was prepared,and the adsorption of trivalent erbium(Er3+)ions from aqueous solution was investigated.The adsorption process for Er3+ions conforms to pseudo-second order kinetic and the Langmuir isotherm model behavior.Thermodynamic studies indicate that the adsorption process is spontaneous and endothermic.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy;Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)analysis,and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)were used to assess the adsorption mechanism of Er3+ions onto the Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent.A combination of electrostatic interactions,redox reactivity and chelation are responsible for adsorption of Er3+ions on the Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent,The magnetic Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent can be easily separated under the magnetic field for effective recycle of Er3+ions from aqueous solution.Therefore,this new biomass composite holds great promise for wastewater treatment. | Lin Gao Zhongmin Wang Chaoke Qin Zhenming Chen Mingmin Gao Na He Xi Qian Zhide Zhou Guiyin Li | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12: | 3 |

| 6 | Molecular imaging of advanced atherosclerotic plaques with folate receptor-targeted 2D nanoprobes显示文摘Vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques are responsible for most cardiovascular diseases(CVDs).Folate receptor(FR)positive activated macrophages were thought to be a prominent component in the development of vulnerable plaque.The objective of this study is to develop folate conjugated two-dimensional(2D)Pd@Au nanomaterials(Pd@Au-PEG-FA)for targeted multimodal imaging of the FRs in advanced atherosclerotic plaques.Pharmacokinetic and imaging studies(single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT),computed tomography(CT)and photoacoustic(PA)imaging)were performed to confirm the prolonged blood half-life and enrichment of radioactivity in atherosclerotic plaques.Strong signals were detected in vivo with SPECT,CT and PA imaging in heavy atherosclerotic plaques,which were significantly higher than those of the normal aortas after injection of Pd@Au-PEG-FA.Blocking studies with preinjection of excess FA could effectively reduce the targeting ability of Pd@Au-PEG-FA in atherosclerotic plaques,further demonstrating the specific binding of Pd@Au-PEG-FA for plaque lesions.Histopathological characterization revealed that the signal of probe was in accordance with the high-risk plaques.In summary,the Pd@Au-PEG-FA has favorable pharmacokinetic properties and provides a valuable approach for detecting high-risk plaques in the presence of FRs in atherosclerotic plaques. | Zhide Guo Liu Yang Mei Chen Xuejun Wen Huanhuan Liu Jingchao Li Duo Xu Yuanyuan An Changrong Shi Jindian Li Xinhui Su Zijing Li Ting Liu Rongqiang Zhuang Nanfeng Zheng Haibo Zhu Xianzhong Zhang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,1: | 2 |

The deformation texture and the magnetic properties were measured.
