1Grenvillian orogeny in the Southern Cathaysia Block:Constraints from U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotopes in zircon from metamorphic basement显示文摘Metamorphic basement rocks in the Cathaysia Block are composed mainly of meta-sediments with different ages. New zircon U-Pb geochronological results from the meta-sedimentary rocks exposed in the Zengcheng and Hezi areas, southern Cathaysia Block, show that they consist dominantly of early Neoproterozoic (1.0―0.9 Ga) materials with minor Paleo- to Mesoproterozoic and late Neoproterozoic (0.8―0.6 Ga) components, suggesting that the detritus mostly come from a Grenvillian orogen. The youngest detrital zircon ages place a constraint on the deposition time of these sediments in Late Neoproterozoic. Zircon Hf isotopic compositions indicate that the Grenvillian zircons were derived from the reworking of Mesoproterozoic arc magmatic rocks and Paleoproterozoic continental crust, implying an arc-continent collisional setting. Single-peak age spectra and the presence of abundant euhedral Grenvillian zircons suggest that the sedimentary provenance is not far away from the sample location. Thus, the Grenvillian orogen probably preexisted along the southern margin of the Cathaysia Block, or very close to the south. Similarity in the ages of Grenvillian orogeny and the influence of the assembly of Gondwana in South China with India and East Antarctic are discussed, with suggestion that South China was more likely linked with the India-East Antarctica continents in Early Neoproterozoic rather than between western Laurentia and eastern Australia.WANG LiJuan YU JinHai S.Y. 2Ideal root architecture for phosphorus acquisition of plants under water and phos-phorus coupled stresses: From simulation to application显示文摘Under water and phosphorus (P) coupled stresses, root architecture may be related to P acquisition efficiency of plants. Understanding the relationship between root architecture and P acquisition efficiency may provide basic information for improving P acquisition efficiency of plants. In the present study, we quantitatively described the effects of root architecture on P acquisition efficiency by computer simulation together with controlled biological experiments so as to determine an ideal root architecture for efficient P acquisition under water and P coupled stresses. Our results indicate that under given soil water conditions, the ideal root architecture for P acquisition efficiency of a tap root plant (as represented by common bean) is an 搖mbrella-shape?root system whose basal roots tend to be shallow in the P-rich topsoil and tap roots tend to be deep for water in the subsoil. 3Behavior toxicity to Caenorhabditis elegans transferred to the progeny after exposure to sulfamethoxazole at environmentally relevant concentrations显示文摘Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) is one of the most common detected antibiotics in the environment.In order to study whether SMX can affect behavior and growth and whether these effects could be transferred to the progeny,Caenorhabditis elegans was exposed at environmentally relevant concentrations for 24,48,72 and 96 hr,respectively.After exposure,the exposed parent generation (P0) was measured for behavior and growth indicators,which were presented as percentage of controls (POC).Then their corresponding unexposed progeny (F1) was separated and measured for the same indicators.The lowest POC for P 0 after 96 hr-exposure at 100 mg/L were 37.8%,12.7%,45.8% and 70.1% for body bending frequency (BBF),reversal movement (RM),Omega turns (OT) and body length (BL),respectively.And F1 suffered defects with the lowest POC as 55.8%,24.1%,48.5% and 60.7% for BBF,RM,OT and BL,respectively.Defects in both P0 and F1 showed a time-and concentration-dependent fashion and behavior indicators showed better sensitivity than growth indicator.The observed effects on F1 demonstrated the transferable properties of SMX.Defects of SMX at environmental concentrations suggested that it is necessary to perform further systematical studies on its ecological risk in actual conditions.Zhenyang Yu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2:12
4A generalized mean shift tracking algorithm显示文摘CAMSHIFT algorithm and Comaniciu/Meer algorithm are two fundamental frameworks of mean shift procedure for video target tracking.This paper generalizes the two well-known mean shift tracking algorithms,originally due to Bradski and Comaniciu/Meer.A new general similarity function which defines the distance between the target model and target candidate is employed to calculate the pixel weights and the target location.The target size is iteratively estimated and updated based on the zeroth order moment of the pixel weights.Then we prove that both the CAMSHIFT algorithm and the Comaniciu/Meer algorithm can be included in the generalized mean shift tracking framework.The tracking performances of three mean shift algorithms in the unified framework are shown and compared in the experimental results.CHEN JianJun ZHANG SuoFei AN GuoCheng WU ZhenYang 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,11:8
5Pose Planning for the End-effector of Robot in the Welding of Intersecting Pipes显示文摘All-position robots are widely applied in the welding of complicated parts.Welding of intersecting pipes is one of the most typical tasks.The welding seam is a complicated saddle-like space curve,which puts a great challenge to the pose planning of end-effector.The special robots designed specifically for this kind of tasks are rare in China and lack sufficient theoretical research.In this paper,a systematic research on the pose planning for the end-effectors of robot in the welding of intersecting pipes is conducted. First,the intersecting curve of pipes is mathematically analyzed.The mathematical model of the most general intersecting curve of pipes is derived,and several special forms of this model in degraded situations are also discussed.A new pose planning approach of bisecting angle in main normal plane(BAMNP) for the welding-gun is proposed by using differential geometry and the comparison with the traditional bisecting angle in axial rotation plane(BAARP) method is also analytically conducted.The optimal pose of the welding-gun is to make the orientation posed at the center of the small space formed by the two cylinders and the intersecting curve to help the welding-pool run smoothly.The BAMNP method can make sure the pose vertical to the curve and center between the two cylinders at the same time,therefore its performance in welding-technique is superior to the BAARP method.By using the traditional BAARP method,the robot structure can become simpler and easier to be controlled,because one degree of freedom(DOF) of the robot can be reduced.For the special case of perpendicular intersecting,an index is constructed to evaluate the quality of welding technique in the process of welding.The effect of different combination of pipe size on this index is also discussed.On the basis of practical consideration,selection principle for BAARP and BAMNP is described.The simulations of those two methods for a serial joint-type robot are made in MATLAB,and the simulation results are consistent to the analysis.The mathematical model and the proposed new pose-planning method will lay a solid foundation for future researches on the control and design of all-position welding robots.LIU Yu ZHAO Jing LU Zhenyang CHEN Shujun 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,2:7
6Heat shock protein 90 is responsible for hyperdynamic circulation in portal hypertensive rats显示文摘AIM: To examine the participation of HSP90 in portal hypertensive rat mesentery in vitro.METHODS: Immunohistochemistry and Western-blot were used to examine the expression of HSP90 in mesenteric vasculature. HSP90 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR, and the role of HSP90 in hyperdynamic circulation was examined by in vitro mesenteric perfusion studies.RESULTS: HSP90 was overexpressed in endothelium of mesentery vasculature in animals with experimental portal hypertension induced by partial portal vein ligation (PVL) compared with normal animals. Geldanamycin (GA), a special inhibitor of HsPg0 signaling, attenuated ACh-dependent vasodilation but did not affect vasodilation in response to sodium nitroprusside in normal rats. In PVL animals, the perfused mesentery was hyporesponsive to vasoconstrictor methoxamine. 7Angiogenesis effect on rat liver after administration of expression vector encoding vascular endothelial growth factor D显示文摘AIM: To verify the expressing efficiency and angiogenesiseffect after administration of expression vector encodingfor vascular endothelial growth factor D in normal andischemic rat liver.METHODS: Ten female S-D rats were administrated withliver tissue dot injection of naked PCHO/hVEGF-D, 50 μg/dot, three dots for each. The same amount of physiologicalsaline was used as control in the neighboring lobe. ForteenS-D rats, using inflow occlusion of left lateral lobe, were dividedinto two groups, seven rats in each group. One was ischemicplasmid group, which received naked plasmid PCHO/hVEGF-D injection of 150 μg. The other received the equal amountof natural saline injection and designed as control. Theexpressions of hVEGF-D in mRNA and protein levels wereidentified by in situ hybridyzation and immunohistochemistry,respectively. Endothelial cells were labeled by the factor VIIIimmunohistochemistrically. The average number of peri-sinusoidal capillaries of each group was calculated andcompared statistically 8 days after injection.RESULTS: A large amount of hVEGF-D in mRNA level wasfound in both normal and ischemic plasmid groups and butnone in their corresponding control groups. The protein ofhVEGF was also highly expressed in both normal and ischemicplasmid groups than in the controls. The mean number ofcapillaries under microscopy (×200) of the plasmid group andcontrol was 10.2±2.78 vs7.1±2.02 (P<0.05), and those ofischemic plasmid group and ischemic control were 7.43+1.72vs 4.71± 1.11 with statistical difference (P<0.05).CONCLUSION; The naked PCHO/hVEGF-D dot injection tonormal, ischemic rat liver can produce comparatively highexpression of hVEGF in both protein and mRNA levels, andprominently increase the number of new capillaries aroundhepatic sinuses. 10Accelerated steered response power method for sound source localization via clustering search显示文摘The steered response power-phase transform (SRP-PHAT) sound source localization algorithm is robust in a real environment. However, the large computation complexity limits the practical application of SRP-PHAT. For a microphone array, each location corresponds to a set of time differences of arrival (TDOAs), and this paper collects them into a TDOA vector. Since the TDOA vectors in the adjacent regions are similar, we present a fast algorithm based on clustering search to reduce the computation complexity of SRP-PHAT. In the training stage, the K-means or Iterative Self-Organizing Data Analysis Technique (ISODATA) clustering algorithm is used to find the centroid in each cluster with similar TDOA vectors. In the procedure of sound localization, the optimal cluster is found by comparing the steered response powers (SRPs) of all centroids. The SRPs of all candidate locations in the optimal cluster are compared to localize the sound source. Experiments both in simulation environments and real environments have been performed to compare the localization accuracy and computational load of the proposed method with those of the conventional SRP-PHAT algorithm. The results show that the proposed method is able to reduce the computational load drastically and maintains almost the same localization accuracy and robustness as those of the conventional SRP-PHAT algorithm. 11Synergy between metallic components of MoNi alloy for catalyzing highly efficient hydrogen storage of MgH2显示文摘Catalysts play a critical role in improving the hydrogen storage kinetics in Mg/MgH2 system.Exploring highly efficient catalysts and catalyst design principles are hot topics but challenging.The catalytic activity of metallic elements on dehydrogenation kinetics generally follows a sequence of Ti>Nb>Ni>V>Co>Mo.Herein,we report a highly efficient alloy catalyst composed of low-active elements of Mo and Ni(i.e.MoNi alloy)for MgH2 particles.MoNi alloy nanoparticles show excellent catalytic effect,even outperforming most advanced Ti-based catalysts.The synergy between Mo and Ni elements can promote the break of Mg-H bonds and the dissociation of hydrogen molecules,thus significantly improves the kinetics of Mg/MgH2 system.The MoNi-catalyzed Mg/MgH2 system can absorb and release 6.7 wt.%hydrogen within 60 s and 10 min at 300℃,respectively,and exhibits excellent cycling stability and low-temperature hydrogen storage performance.This study provides a strategy for designing efficient catalysts for hydrogen storage materials using the synergy of metal elements.Meng Chen Yanhui Pu Zhenyang Li Gang Huang Xiaofang Liu Yao Lu Wukui Tang Li Xu Shuangyu Liu Ronghai Yu Jianglan Shui 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:5

15Identification of Animal Rabies in Inner Mongolia and Analysis of the Etiologic Characteristics显示文摘Objective To perform pathological observation and etiological identification of specimens collected from dairy cows,beef cattle and dogs which were suspected of rabies in Inner Mongolia in 2011,and analyze their etiological characteristics. Methods Pathological observation was conducted on the brain specimens of three infected animals with Hematoxylin-Eosin staining,followed by confirmation using immunofluorescence and nested RT-PCR methods. Finally,phylogenetic analysis was conducted using the virus N gene sequence amplified from three specimens. Results Eosinophilic and cytoplasmic inclusion bodies were seen in neuronal cells of the CNS; and rabies non-characteristic histopathological changes were also detected in the CNS. The three brain specimens were detected positive. N gene nucleotide sequence of these three isolates showed distinct sequence identity,therefore they fell into different groups in the phylogenetic analysis. N gene in the cow and dog had higher homology with that in Hebei isolate,but that in the beef cattle had higher homology with that in Mongolian lupine isolate and Russian red fox isolate. 17Efficient compressive sensing tracking via mixed classifier decision显示文摘Recent years have witnessed successful use of tracking-by-detection methods, with a number of promising results being achieved. Most of these algorithms use a sliding window to collect samples and then employ these samples to train and update the classifiers. They also use an updated classifier to establish the appearance model and they take the maximum response value of the classifier as the location of the target within a fixed radius. Compressive Tracking(CT) is a novel tracking-by-detection algorithm that updates the appearance model in a compressed domain. However, the conventional CT algorithm uses a single classifier to detect the target, and if the selected region drifts, the classifier may become inaccurate. Furthermore, the CT algorithm updates the classifier parameters with a constant learning rate. Therefore, if the target is completely occluded for an extended period, the classifier will instead learn the features of the covered object and the target will ultimately be lost. To overcome these problems, we present a compressive sensing tracking algorithm using mixed classifier decision. The main improvements in our algorithm are that it adopts mixed classifiers to locate the target and it applies a dynamic learning rate to update the appearance model. 18SPEECH ENHANCEMENT USING CONSTRAINED SPECTRAL AMPLITUDE SUBTRACTION BASED ON NONCAUSAL A PRIORI SNR显示文摘Two gain forms of spectral amplitude subtraction are derived theoretically without neglecting the correlation of speech and noise spectrum during the period of a frame. In the implementation, the constrained gain is expressed as a function of noncausal a priori SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio). Noise and noncausal a priori SNR are estimated from the multitaper spectrum of the noisy signal with algorithms modified to be suitable for the multitaper spectrum. 19Single nucleotide polymorphisms in candidate genes are significantly associated with resistance to Haemonchus contortus infection in goats显示文摘Background: Haemonchosis is a major economic problem in goat production in humid, tropical and subtropical regions. The disease is caused by an abomasal nematode, Haemonchus contortus, which is highly pathogenic in small ruminants. The aim of this study was to identifying single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) that were associated with fecal egg counts(FEC) and could be used as markers to identify resistance to H. contortus in goats.Results: Ten novel variants in the CI TA, ATP2 A3, HSPA8, STAT5 B, ESYT1, and SERPING1 genes were associated with FEC in goats with a nominal significance level of P < 0.05. Two missense mutation in the exon region of the caprine CI TA gene resulted in replacement of arginine with cysteine at position 9473550(R9473550 C) and aspartic acid with glutamic acid at position 9473870(D9473870 E). Chinese goat breeds had significantly higher FEC than Bangladeshi goat breeds within their respective genotypes. Polymorphism information content(PIC), effective al ele number(Ne), and heterozygosity(He)were greatest for the STAT5 B197A > G SNP locus in al goat breeds. Pairwise coefficients of linkage disequilibrium(D′, r2)revealed complete LD(r2= 1) between significant SNP polymorphisms in CI TA and SERPING1 and strong LD(r2= 0.93 and0.98) between polymorphisms in HSPA8 and ATP2 A3, respectively. Correlation coefficient(r) between FEC and body weight(BW) was significantly positive(r = 0.56***, P < 0.001) but that between FEC and packed cel volume(PCV) was negatively significant(r =-0.47**, P < 0.01) in the total population of goats. On the other hand, correlation coefficient(r)between BW and PCV was not significant in total population of goats. Association analysis revealed that haplotypes within ATP2 A3, HSPA8, and SERPING1 were significantly associated with FEC. 20Real-time visual tracking using complementary kernel support correlation filters显示文摘Despite demonstrated success of SVM based trackers,their performance remains a boosting room if carefully considering the following factors:first,the tradeoff between sampling and budgeting samples affects tracking accuracy and efficiency much;second,how to effectively fuse different types of features to learn a robust target representation plays a key role in tracking accuracy.In this paper,we propose a novel SVM based tracking method that handles the first factor with the help of the circulant structures of the samples and the second one by a multi-kernel learning mechanism.Specifically,we formulate an SVM classification model for visual tracking that incorporates two types of kernels whose matrices are circulant,fully taking advantage of the complementary traits of the color and HOG features to learn a robust target representation.Moreover,it is fortunate that the SVM model has a closed-form solution in terms of both the classifier weights and the kernel weights,and both can be efficiently computed via fast Fourier transforms(FFTs).Extensive evaluations on OTB100 and VOT2016 visual tracking benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a favorable performance against various state-of-the-art trackers with a speed of 50 fps on a single CPU.Zhenyang SU Jing LI Jun CHANG Bo DU Yafu XIAO 2020Frontiers of Computer Science2020,14,2:2
