2Ultrasound enhanced heterogeneous activation of peroxydisulfate by bimetallic Fe-Co/GAC catalyst for the degradation of Acid Orange 7 in water显示文摘Bimetallic Fe-Co/GAC(granular activated carbon) was prepared and used as heterogeneous catalyst in the ultrasound enhanced heterogeneous activation of peroxydisulfate(PS, S2O2-8) process. The effect of initial pH, PS concentration, catalyst addition and stirring rate on the decolorization of Acid Orange 7(AO7) was investigated. The results showed that the decolorization efficiency increased with an increase in PS concentration from 0.3 to 0.5 g/L and an increase in catalyst amount from 0.5 to 0.8g/L. But further increase in PS concentration and catalyst addition would result in an unpronounced increase in decolorization efficiency. In the range of 300 to 900 r/min, stirring rate had little effect on AO7 decolorization. 6Refill friction stir spot welding of 5083-O aluminum alloy显示文摘In this work,refill friction stir spot welding(RFSSW) was used to weld 2 mm-thick 5083-O alloy.The Box–Behnken experimental design was used to investigate the effect of welding parameters on the joint lap shear property.Results showed that a surface indentation of 0.3 mm effectively eliminated the welding defects.Microhardness of the stir zone(SZ) was higher than that of the base material(BM) and the hardness decreased with increasing the heat input during welding.The optimum failure load of 7.72 k N was obtained when using rotating speed of 2300 rpm,plunge depth of 2.4 mm and refilling time of 3.5 s.Three fracture modes were obtained during the lap shear test and all were affected by the hook defect.Zhiwu Xu Zhengwei Li Shude Ji Liguo Zhang 2018Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,5:10
7Proanthocyanidins Inhibit Seed Germination by Maintaining a High Level of Abscisic Acid in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Proanthocyanidins (PAs) are the main products of the flavonoid biosynthetic pathway in seeds, but their biological function during seed germination is still unclear. We observed that seed germination is delayed with the increase of exogenous PA concentration in Arabidopsis. A similar inhibitory effect occurred in peeled Brassica napus seeds, which was observed by measuring radicle elongation. Using abscisic acid (ABA), a biosynthetic and metabolic inhibitor, and gene expression analysis by real-time polymerase chain reaction, we found that the inhibitory effect of PAs on seed germination is due to their promotion of ABA via de novo biogenesis, rather than by any inhibition of its degradation. Consistent with the relationship between PA content and ABA accumulation in seeds, PA-deficient mutants maintain a lower level of ABA compared with wild-types during germination. Our data suggest that PA distribution in the seed coat can act as a doorkeeper to seed germination. 8Design of Reflective Concentrator Model with Application for Concentrator Photovoltaic System显示文摘The nonuniform irradiation in the standard photovoltaic(PV) cells causes their relatively high series resistance,which results in a considerably lowered efficiency of PV cells.Currently the concentrator of uniform irradiation designed for concentrator photovoltaic is rare in China and lack sufficient theoretical research.In this paper,a systematic research on the solar reflective concentrator is conducted.A novel structure for a solar reflective concentrator is designed with the application of a flat mirror matrix to concentrate the sunlight for concentrator photovoltaic(CPV) systems.Sunlight beams are focused through the reflection of the mirror array on the solar cell to generate electricity.The concentrator is capable of producing much more uniform sunlight with a certain concentration ratio.The design scheme includes laying out the flat mirrors,optimizing the optical pathway and the parameters of each mirror.The prototype of the CPV system was installed at Nanjing,China.In the configuration of the prototype,it is composed of 24 pieces parallelogram flat mirrors,which are arranged into a total reflective array of 5 rows and 5 columns.In comparison with the parabolic trough concentrator,the experimental measurements verify such design has high efficiency.The concentrator model of a flat mirror matrix and the proposed new design method will lay a solid foundation for designing the concentrator of uniform irradiation.SU Zhongyuan ZHANG Yaoming JIA Minping SUN Liguo XU Feiyun WANG Jun 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,6:8
9Mathematical model of heat transfer for bloom continuous casting显示文摘A mathematical model for heat transfer during solidification in continuous casting of automobile steel,was established on researching under the influence of the solidifying process of bloom quality of CCM in the EAF steelmaking shop,at Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co.Ltd.Several steel grades were chosen to research,such as,40Cr and 42CrMo.According to the results of the high temperature mechanical property tests of blooms,the respective temperature curves for controlling the solidification of different steels were acquired,and a simulating software was developed.The model was verified using two methods,which were bloom pin- shooting and surface strand temperature measuring experiments.The model provided references for research on the solidifying proc- ess and optimization of a secondary cooling system for automobile steel.Moreover,it was already applied to real production.The calculated temperature distribution and solidification trend of blooms had offered a reliable theory for optimizing the solidifying process of blooms,increasing withdrawal speed,and improving bloom quality.Meanwhile,a new secondary cooling system was designed to optimize a secondary cooling water distribution,including choice and arrangements of nozzles,calculation of cooling water quantity,and so on.Qing Liu Liangzhou Wang Liqiang Zhang Liguo Cao Xiuzhong Ding Mei Liang Yongge Qi 2008Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2008,15,1:7
10Adjuvant radiotherapy in central hepatocellular carcinoma after narrow-margin hepatectomy:A 10-year real-world evidence显示文摘Objective:A prospective randomized control study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of adjuvant radiotherapy on patients with central hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm).This study presents an updated 10-year real-world evidence to further characterize the role of adjuvant radiotherapy.Methods:Patients with central HCC after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm)were prospectively assigned to adjuvant radiotherapy group and control group.Patients'outcome,adverse events,long-term recurrence and survival rates were investigated.Results:The 1-,5-,and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS)rates were 81.0%,43.9%,and 38.7%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 71.7%,35.8%,and 24.2%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.09).The 1-,5-,and 10-year overall survival(OS)rates were 96.6%,54.7%,and 42.8%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 90.2%,55.1%,and 30.0%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.20).The 1-,5-,and 10-year RFS rates for patients with small HCC(≤5 cm)were 91.1%,51.6%,and 48.4%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 80.0%,36.6%,and 26.6%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.03).Landmark analysis demonstrated that patients with small HCC in adjuvant radiotherapy group had a significantly improved OS in second five years after treatment in comparison to patients in control group(log-rank test,P=0.05).Conclusions:Our updated results showed a sustained clinical benefit on reducing recurrence,improving longterm survival for small central HCC by adjuvant radiotherapy after narrow-margin hepatectomy.Long-term survival data also indicated that hepatectomy is an optimal treatment for selected patients with central HCC.Weiqi Rong Weibo Yu Liming Wang Fan Wu Kai Zhang Bo Chen Chengli Miao Liguo Liu Songlin An Changcheng Tao Weihu Wang Jianxiong Wu 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,5:6
11Characterization of 500 Chinese patients with cervical esophageal cancer by clinicopathological and treatment outcomes显示文摘Objective: There are no comprehensive studies on survival outcomes and optimal treatment protocols for cervical esophageal cancer(CEC), due to its rare clinical prevalence. Our objective was to determine the relationship between pathological characteristics, treatment protocols, and survival outcomes in Chinese CEC patients.Methods: A total of 500 Chinese CEC patients were selected from our 500,000 esophageal and gastric cardia carcinoma database(1973–2018). There were two main groups: patients treated with surgery, and patients receiving non-surgical treatments(radiotherapy, radiochemotherapy, and chemotherapy). The Chi-square test and Kaplan–Meier method were used to compare the continuous variables and survival.Results: Among the 500 CEC patients, 278(55.6%) were male, and the median age was 60.9 ± 9.4 years. A total of 496 patients(99.2%) were diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. In 171(34.2%) patients who received surgery, 22(12.9%) had undergone laryngectomy. In 322(64.4%) patients who received non-surgical treatments, 245(76.1%) received radiotherapy. Stratified survival analysis showed that only T stage was related with survival outcomes for CEC patients in the surgical group, and the outcomes between laryngectomy and non-laryngectomy patients were similar. It was noteworthy that the 5-year survival rate was similar in CEC patients among the different groups treated with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or radiochemotherapy(P = 0.244). Conclusions: The CEC patients had similar survival outcomes after curative esophagectomy and radiotherapy, including those with or without total laryngectomy. 14A New Method of Wind Turbine Bearing Fault Diagnosis Based on Multi-Masking Empirical Mode Decomposition and Fuzzy C-Means Clustering显示文摘Based on Multi-Masking Empirical Mode Decomposition (MMEMD) and fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering, a new method of wind turbine bearing fault diagnosis FCM-MMEMD is proposed, which can determine the fault accurately and timely. First, FCM clustering is employed to classify the data into different clusters, which helps to estimate whether there is a fault and how many fault types there are. If fault signals exist, the fault vibration signals are then demodulated and decomposed into different frequency bands by MMEMD in order to be analyzed further. In order to overcome the mode mixing defect of empirical mode decomposition (EMD), a novel method called MMEMD is proposed. It is an improvement to masking empirical mode decomposition (MEMD). By adding multi-masking signals to the signals to be decomposed in different levels, it can restrain low-frequency components from mixing in highfrequency components effectively in the sifting process and then suppress the mode mixing. It has the advantages of easy implementation and strong ability of suppressing modal mixing. The fault type is determined by Hilbert envelope finally. The results of simulation signal decomposition showed the high performance of MMEMD. 17Wavelet packet-based identification of complex oscillation in biological signals显示文摘Owing to the intrinsic nonlinearities of the system,a contracting mechanism,such as myogenic response,may induce different oscillatory patterns.Many specialists discussed the relations of oscillatory patterns with intrinsic control system or some pathological condition,but there is no single,well-defined criterion to achieve the identification of regular,stochastic,and chaotic activities.In this paper,we focus on the Mallat algorithm of wavelet packet and use it in the identification of the regular periodic,stochastic,and chaotic fluctuations.According to the specific frequency configuration of the chaos activity,we select proper layers of decomposition of wavelet packet and did fine segments to the frequency of signals.The frequency band of energy convergence could be recognized.The signal of periodic,stochastic,and chaotic could be distinguished depending on it.Numerical experiment is given to show its efficiency.Experiments on 12 babies' lung data have been done.This identification by means of wavelet packet could support the cardiologist or cerebral specialist to do more observation and deeper analysis to physic signals.Zhang Shuqing Sarah K. 18Prediction of Large Structure Welding Residual Stress by Similitude Principles显示文摘On basis of the similitude principles, the conception of virtual simulative component and the auxiliary value of welding residual stress, which is deduced by the welding conduction theory, the relation of the welding residual stress between the simulative component and the practical component was attained. In order to verify the correctness of the relation, the investigation was done from the view of the welding experiment and the numerical simulation about the simulative component and the practical component. The results show that the distribution of welding residual stress of the simulative component is the same as that of the practical component. The ratio of welding residual stress attained by the experiment or the simulation method between the practical runner and the simulative component was compared with the ratio obtained by the similitude principles. Moreover, the error is less than 10%. 20Time-varying linear control for tiltrotor aircraft显示文摘Tiltrotor aircraft have three flight modes: helicopter mode, airplane mode, and transition mode. A tiltrotor has characteristics of highly nonlinear, time-varying flight dynamics and inertial/-control couplings in its transition mode. It can transit from the helicopter mode to the airplane mode by tilting its nacelles, and an effective controller is crucial to accomplish tilting transition missions. Longitudinal dynamic characteristics of the tiltrotor are described by a nonlinear Lagrangeform model, which takes into account inertial/control couplings and aerodynamic interferences.Reference commands for airspeed velocity and attitude in the transition mode are calculated dynamically by visiting a command library which is founded in advance by analyzing the flight envelope of the tiltrotor. A Time-Varying Linear(TVL) model is obtained using a Taylorexpansion based online linearization technique from the nonlinear model. Subsequently, based on an optimal control concept, an online optimization based control method with input constraints considered is proposed. To validate the proposed control method, three typical tilting transition missions are simulated using the nonlinear model of XV-15 tiltrotor aircraft.
