1Climatic and lake environmental changes in the Serling Co region of Tibet over a variety of timescales显示文摘The Serling Co region is located at the transitional zone of the interaction between the Indian monsoon and the westerlies over the Tibetan Plateau. The Serling Co lake covers a water area of2,389 km2(June 2017) in a 45,530 km2drainage basin. 2Effect of solid-solution temperature on the microstructure of Fe-Ni based high strength low thermal expansion (HSLTE) alloy显示文摘The influence of solid-solution temperature on the dissolution of carbide precipitates, the average grain size and the micro- hardness of the austenite matrix in an Fe-Ni based high strength low thermal expansion (HSLTE) alloy was investigated to obtain the proper temperature range of the solid-solution process. The XRD analysis, microstructure observations, and the theoretical calculations showed that the Mo-rich M2C-type precipitates in the Fe-Ni based HSLTE alloy dissolve completely at about 1100°C. The average grain size of the studied alloys increases from 14 to 46 μm in the temperature range of 1050 to 1200°C. 3Development of integrated two-stage thermoelectric generators for large temperature difference显示文摘Multi-stage thermoelectric(TE) modules can withstand a large temperature difference and can be used to obtain a high conversion efficiency. In this study, two-stage PbTe/Bi2Te3 TE modules were developed with an enhanced efficiency through a comprehensive study of device structure design, module fabrication, and performance evaluation. PbTe-based AgPbmSbTem+2(abbreviated as LAST) is a typically high ZT material, while the corresponding TE module was rarely reported so far. How to utilize LAST to fabricate high efficiency TE modules therefore remains a central problem. Finite element simulation indicates that the temperature stability of the two-stage module for LAST is better than that of two-segmented module. Compared to Cu,Ni, and Ni-Fe alloys, Co-Fe alloy is an effective metallization layer for PbTe due to its low contact resistance and thin diffusion layer. By sintering a slice of Cu on TE legs, pure tinfoil can be used as a common welding method for mid-temperature TE modules. 4Sustainable utilization of biological resources from coastal wetlands in China显示文摘The main utilization of biological resources from coastal wetlands in China and the major limiting factors on sustainable utilization of these resources are reviewed. Strategies for the sustainable utilization of coastal wetlands are proposed. 6Changes in soil carbon sequestration and soil respiration following afforestation on paddy fields in north subtropical China显示文摘Aims Although many studies have reported net gains of soil organic carbon(SOC)after afforestation on croplands,this is uncertain for Chinese paddy rice croplands.Here,we aimed to evaluate the effects of affores-tation of paddy rice croplands on SOC sequestration and soil respiration(R).Such knowledge would improve our understanding of the efctive-ness of various land use options on greenhouse gas mitigation in China.Methods The investigation was conducted on the Chongming Island,north subtropical China.Field sites were reclaimed from coastal salt marshes in the 1960s,and soils were homogeneous with simple land use:histories.SOC stocks and R,levels were monitored over one year in a paddy rice cropland,an evergreen and a deciduous broad-leaved plantation established on previous paddy fields and a reference fal-low land site never cultivated.Laboratory incubation of soil under fast-changing temperatures was used to compare the temperature sensitivity(Q10)of SOC decomposition across land uses.Important Findings After 15-20 years of afforestation on paddy fields,SOC concentra-tion only slightly increased at the depth of 0--5 cm but decreased in deeper layers,which resulted in a net loss of SOC stock in the top 40cm.Seasonal increase of sOC was observed during the rice-growing period in croplands but not in afforested soils,suggest-ing a stronger SOC sequestration by paddy rice cropping.However,SOC sequestered under cropping was more labile,as indicated by its higher contents of dissolved organic carbon and microbial bio-mass.Also,paddy soils had higher annual R,than afforested soils;R,abruptly increased after paddy fields were drained and plowed and remained distinctively high throughout the dry farming period.Laboratory incubation revealed that paddy soils had a much higher Q10 of SOC decomposition than afforested soils.Given that tem-perature was the primary controller of R,in this region,it was con-cluded that despite the stronger SOC sequestration by paddy rice cropping,its SOC was less stable than in afforested systems and might be more easily released into the atmosphere under global warming.Jun Cui Rongjuan Zhang Naishun Bu Huabin Zhang Boping Tang Zhaolei Li Lifeng Jiang Jiakuan Chen Changming Fang 2013Journal of Plant Ecology2013,6,3:4
7Monte-Carlo simulation of pinhole collimator of a small field of view gamma camera for small animal imaging显示文摘Needs in scintimammography applications,especially for small animal cardiac imaging,lead to develop a small field of view,high spatial resolution gamma camera with a pinhole collimator.However the ideal pinhole collimator must keep a compromise between spatial resolution and sensitivity.In order to design a pinhole collimator with an optimized sensitivity and spatial resolution,the spatial resolution and the geometric sensitivity response as a function of the source to collimator distance has been obtained by means of Monte-Carlo simulation for a small field of view gamma camera with a pinhole collimator of various-hole diameters.The results show that the camera with pinhole of 1 mm,1.5 mm and 2 mm diameter has respectively spatial resolution of 1.5 mm,2.25 mm and 3 mm and geometric sensitivity of 0.016%,0.022%and 0.036%,while the source to collimator distance is 3 cm.We chose the pinhole collimator with hole diameter size of 1.2 mm for our the gamma camera designed based on the trade-off between sensitivity and resolution.ZHU Jie MA Wenyan ZHU Yufeng MA Hongguang WU Yuelei HU Huasi ZHANG Boping HUO Yonggang LIU Silu JIAN Bin WANG Zhaomin 2009Nuclear Science and Techniques2009,20,1:4
8Multi-phase structure and electrical properties of Bi_(0.5)Li_(0.5)ZrO_3 doping K_(0.48)Na_(0.56)NbO_3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics显示文摘(1–x)K_(0.48)Na_(0.56)NbO_3–xBi_(0.5)Li_(0.5)ZrO_3(KNN–x BLZ, x = 0–0.06) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid-state sintering method, and their phase structures and electric properties as well as T_C were systematically investigated. The orthorhombic–tetragonal(O–T) two phases were detected in all(1–x)K_(0.48)Na_(0.56)NbO_3–xBi_(0.5)Li_(0.5)ZrO_3 ceramics at 0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.05. Due to the appropriate ratio between O phase and T phase(CO/C T= 45/55), high piezoelectric properties of d 33= 239 pC/N, k_p= 34%, and P_r = 25.23 μC/cm^2 were obtained at x = 0.04. Moreover, a high T_C = 348 ℃ was also achieved in KNN–x BLZ ceramic at x = 0.04. 9Effect of Li content on the microstructure and properties of lead-free piezoelectric(K_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_(1-x)Li_xNbO_3 ceramics prepared by SPS显示文摘Lead-free piezoelectric(K_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_(1-x)Li_xNbO_3(x=0at%-20at%)ceramics were synthesized by spark plasma sintering(SPS) at low temperature and the effects of LiNbO_3 addition on its crystal structure and properties were also studied.When the Li content was less than 6at%,a single proveskite phase with the similar structure of(K_(0.5)Na_(0.5))NbO_3 was formed;and a secondary phase with K_3Li_2Nb_5O_(15) structure was observed in the 6at%≤x≤20at% compositional range.Furthermore,LiNbO_3 existed as the third phase when the Li content was higher than 8at%.The grain sizes increased from 200-500 nm to 5-8μm when the K_3Li_2Nb_5O_(15) and LiNbO_3 like phases were formed.With increasing Li content,the relative density of the ceramics first decreased from 97% to 93% and then kept constant.The piezoelectric coefficient d_(33),dielectric constant,and planner electromechanical coupling factor exhibited a de- creasing tendency with increasing Li content because of the decrease in density and the formation of the secondary phase such as K_3Li_2Nb_5O_(15) and LiNbO_3.The formation of dense microstructure with a single phase is necessary in improving the properties of the (K_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_(1-x)Li_xNbO_3 ceramics.Pei Zhao Boping Zhang Ke Wang Limin Zhang Hailong Zhang 2008Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2008,15,3:3
10High-temperature Electric Properties of Polycrystalline La-doped CaMnO_3 Ceramics显示文摘Polycrystalline La-doped CaMnO3 ceramics have been prepared by a solid-state sintering method.Analysis of microstructure and phase composition indicates that the addition of La can prohibit the further growth of grain,and no impurity phase appears.The results revealed that the La doping can lead to a large change of the activation energy(from 0.22 to 0.02 eV),and thus result in a marked increase in electric conductivity of 2-4 orders of magnitude.The power factor can reach about 1.5×10-4 W·m-1·K-2 in a wide temperature range,which potentially make them attractive for n-type high-temperature thermoelectric materials.Jinle Lan Yuanhua Lin Ao Mei Cewen Nan Yong Liu Boping Zhang Jingfeng Li 2009Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,4:3
11Penumbral imaging and numerical evaluation of large area source neutron imaging system显示文摘The fusion neutron penumbral imaging system Monte Carlo model was established. The transfer functions of the two discrete units in the neutron source were obtained in two situations:Imaging in geometrical near-optical and real situation. The spatial resolutions of the imaging system in two situations were evaluated and compared. The penumbral images of four units in the source were obtained by means of 2-dimensional (2D) convolution and Monte Carlo simulation. The penumbral images were reconstructed with the same method of filter. The same results were confirmed. The encoding essence of penumbral imaging was revealed. With MCNP(Monte Carlo N-particle) simulation,the neutron penumbral images of the large area source (200 μm×200 μm) on scintillation fiber array were obtained. The improved Wiener filter method was used to reconstruct the penumbral image and the source image was obtained. The results agree with the preset neutron source image. 12Microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of ZnO-B_2O_3 added (Ca_(0.254)Li_(0.19)Sm_(0.14))TiO_3 ceramics显示文摘The effects of ZnO-B2O3 (ZB2) on the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of (Ca0.254Li0.19Sm0.14)TiO3 ceramics were investigated.The densities of the specimens reached the maximum value by adding 3 wt.% ZB2 and then decreased.The sintering temperature of the specimens was lowered from 1300 to 1100°C without degradation of the microwave dielectric properties.The (Ca0.254Li0.19Sm0.14)TiO3 + 3 wt.% ZB2 sintered at 1100°C for 3 h showed good microwave dielectric properties,εr = 108.2,Qf = 6545 GHz,and τf = 6.5 ppm/°C,respectively,indicating that ZB2 was an effective sintering aid to improve the densification and microwave dielectric properties of (Ca0.254Li0.19Sm0.14)TiO3 ceramics.LU Yin LI Haitao LI Qian ZHANG Boping 2010Rare Metals2010,29,3:2
13Preparation and thermoelectric properties of Cu1.8S/CuSbS2 composites显示文摘Chalcostibite(CuSbS2)is composed of earth-abundant elements and has a proper band gap(Eg=1.05 eV)as a thermoelectric(TE)material.Herein,we report the TE properties in the CuSbS2 based composites with a mole ratio of(1–x)CuSbS2–x Cu1.8S(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.3),which were prepared by mechanical alloying(MA)combined with spark plasma sintering(SPS).X-ray diffraction(XRD)and back-scattered electron image(BSE)results indicate that a single phase of CuSbS2 is synthesized at x=0 and the samples consist of CuSbS2,Cu3SbS4,and Cu12Sb4S13 at 0.1≤x≤0.3.The correlation between the phase structure,microstructure,and TE transport properties of the bulk samples is established.The electrical conductivity increases from 0.14 to 50.66 S·cm–1 at 723 K and at0≤x≤0.03,while the Seebeck coefficient holds an appropriate value of 190.51μV·K–1.The highest ZT value of 0.17 is obtained at 723 K and at x=0.3 owing to the combination of a high PF183μW·m–1·K–2 and a lowκ0.8 W·m–1·K–1.Chunmei TANG Doudou LIANG Hezhang LI Kun LUO Boping ZHANG 2019Journal of Advanced Ceramics2019,8,2:2
14Induction of chemotaxis to sodium chloride and diacetyl and thermotaxis defects by microcystin-LR exposure in nematode Caenorhabditis elegans显示文摘Apart from the liver disruption, embryotoxicity and genotoxicity, microcystin (MC)-LR also could cause neurotoxicity. Nematode Caenorhabditis elegans was explored as a model to study the neurotoxicity. In the present study, we provided evidence to indicate the neurotoxicity on chemotaxis to NaCl and diacetyl, and thermotaxis from MC-LR exposure to C. elegans. As a result, higher concentrations of MC-LR caused significantly severe defects of chemotaxis to NaCl and diacetyl, and thermotaxis. The neurotoxicity on chemotaxis to NaCl and diacetyl, and thermotaxis from MC-LR exposure might be largely mediated by the damage on the corresponding sensory neurons (ASE, AWA, and AFD) and interneuron AIY. The expression levels of che-1 and odr-7 were significantly decreased (P < 0.01) in animals exposed to MC-LR at concentrations lower than 10 μg/L, whereas the expression levels of ttx-1 and ttx-3 could be significantly (P < 0.01) lowered in animals even exposed to 1 μg/L of MC-LR.
