1Recent progress in developing efficient monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells显示文摘Organic–inorganic halide perovskites have received widespread attention thanks to their strong light absorption,long carrier diffusion lengths,tunable bandgaps,and low temperature processing.Single-junction perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have achieved a boost of the power conversion efficiency(PCE)from 3.8%to 25.2%in just a decade.With the continuous growth of PCE in single-junction PSCs,exploiting of monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells is now an important strategy to go beyond the efficiency available in single-junction PSCs.In this review,we first introduce the structure and operation mechanism of monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cell.We then summarize recent progress in monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells from the perspectives of different structural units in the device:tunnel recombination junction,wide-bandgap top subcell,and narrow-bandgap bottom subcell.Finally,we provide our insights into the challenges and scientific issues remaining in this rapidly developing research field.Yurui Wang Mei Zhang Ke Xiao Renxing Lin Xin Luo Qiaolei Han Hairen Tan 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,5:2
2Comparison of six generalized linear models for occurrence of lightning-induced fires in northern Daxing'an Mountains,China显示文摘The occurrence of lightning-induced forest fires during a time period is count data featuring over-dispersion(i.e., variance is larger than mean) and a high frequency of zero counts. In this study, we used six generalized linear models to examine the relationship between the occurrence of lightning-induced forest fires and meteorological factors in the Northern Daxing'an Mountains of China. The six models included Poisson, negative binomial(NB), zeroinflated Poisson(ZIP), zero-inflated negative binomial(ZINB), Poisson hurdle(PH), and negative binomial hurdle(NBH) models. Goodness-of-fit was compared and tested among the six models using Akaike information criterion(AIC), sum of squared errors, likelihood ratio test, and Vuong test. The predictive performance of the models wasassessed and compared using independent validation data by the data-splitting method. Based on the model AIC, the ZINB model best fitted the fire occurrence data, followed by(in order of smaller AIC) NBH, ZIP, NB, PH, and Poisson models. The ZINB model was also best for predicting either zero counts or positive counts(C1). The two Hurdle models(PH and NBH) were better than ZIP,Poisson, and NB models for predicting positive counts, but worse than these three models for predicting zero counts.Thus, the ZINB model was the first choice for modeling the occurrence of lightning-induced forest fires in this study,which implied that the excessive zero counts of lightninginduced fires came from both structure and sampling zeros.Futao Guo Guangyu Wang John L. 3Quantum topology identification with deep neural networks and quantum walks显示文摘Topologically ordered materials may serve as a platform for new quantum technologies,such as fault-tolerant quantum computers.To fulfil this promise,efficient and general methods are needed to discover and classify new topological phases of matter.We demonstrate that deep neural networks augmented with external memory can use the density profiles formed in quantum walks to efficiently identify properties of a topological phase as well as phase transitions.On a trial topological ordered model,our method’s accuracy of topological phase identification reaches 97.4%,and is shown to be robust to noise on the data.Furthermore,we demonstrate that our trained DNN is able to identify topological phases of a perturbed model,and predict the corresponding shift of topological phase transitions without learning any information about the perturbations in advance.These results demonstrate that our approach is generally applicable and may be used to identify a variety of quantum topological materials.Yurui Ming Chin-Teng Lin Stephen D.Bartlett Wei-Wei Zhang 2019npj Computational Materials2019,,1:1

5Cross-linked hole transport layers for high-efficiency perovskite tandem solar cells显示文摘Perovskite tandem solar cells have recently received extensive attention due to their promise of achieving power conversion efficiency(PCE)beyond the limits of single-junction cells.However,their performance is still largely constrained by the widebandgap perovskite solar cells which show considerable open-circuit voltage(VOC)losses.Here,we increase the VOCand PCE of wide-bandgap perovskite solar cells by changing the hole transport layer(HTL)from commonly used poly(bis(4-phenyl)(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)amine)(PTAA)to in-situ cross-linked small molecule N_(4),N_(4)′-di(naphthalen-1-yl)-N_(4),N_(4)′-bis(4-vinylphenyl)biphenyl-4,4′-diamine(VNPB).The stronger interaction and lower trap density at the VNPB/perovskite interface improve the PCE and stability of wide-bandgap perovskite solar cells.By using the cross-linked HTL for front wide-bandgap subcells,PCEs of 24.9%and 25.4%have been achieved in perovskite/perovskite and perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells,respectively.The results demonstrate that cross-linkable small molecules are promising for high-efficiency and cost-effective perovskite tandem photovoltaic devices.Yurui Wang Shuai Gu Guoliang Liu Liping Zhang Zhou Liu Renxing Lin Ke Xiao Xin Luo Jianhua Shi Junling Du Fanying Meng Ludong Li Zhengxin Liu Hairen Tan 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,11:1

7Revealing the output power potential of bifacial monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells显示文摘Bifacial monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells have the promise of delivering higher output power density by inheriting the advantages of both tandem and bifacial architectures simultaneously.Herein,we demonstrate,for the first time,the bifacial monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells and reveal their output power potential.The bifacial tandems are realized by replacing the rear metal electrodes of monofacial tandems with transparent conduction oxide electrodes.Bandgap engineering is deployed to achieve current matching under various rear illumination conditions.The bifacial tandems show a high output power density of 28.51 mW cm−2 under a realistic rear illumination(30 mW cm−2).Further energy yield calculation shows substantial energy yield gain for bifacial tandems compared with the monofacial tandems under various ground albedo for different climatic conditions.This work provides a new device architecture for higher output power for all-perovskite tandem solar cells under real-world conditions.Hongjiang Li Yurui Wang Han Gao Mei Zhang Renxing Lin Pu Wu Ke Xiao Hairen Tan 2022eLight2022,2,1:0
