| 1 | High-performance silicon−graphene hybrid plasmonic waveguide photodetectors beyond 1.55μm显示文摘Graphene has attracted much attention for the realization of high-speed photodetection for silicon photonics over a wide wavelength range.However,the reported fast graphene photodetectors mainly operate in the 1.55μm wavelength band.In this work,we propose and realize high-performance waveguide photodetectors based on bolometric/photoconductive effects by introducing an ultrathin wide silicon−graphene hybrid plasmonic waveguide,which enables efficient light absorption in graphene at 1.55μm and beyond.When operating at 2μm,the present photodetector has a responsivity of ~70 mA/W and a setup-limited 3 dB bandwidth of >20 GHz.When operating at 1.55μm,the present photodetector also works very well with a broad 3 dB bandwidth of >40 GHz(setup-limited)and a high responsivity of ~0.4 A/W even with a low bias voltage of−0.3 V.This work paves the way for achieving highresponsivity and high-speed silicon-graphene waveguide photodetection in the near/mid-infrared ranges,which has applications in optical communications,nonlinear photonics,and on-chip sensing. | Jingshu Guo Jiang Li Chaoyue Liu Yanlong Yin Wenhui Wang Zhenhua Ni Zhilei Fu Hui Yu Yang Xu Yaocheng Shi Yungui Ma Shiming Gao Limin Tong Daoxin Dai | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 10 |
| 2 | Substantial transition to clean household energy mix in rural China显示文摘The household energy mix has significant impacts on human health and climate,as it contributes greatly to many health-and climate-relevant air pollutants.Compared to the well-established urban energy statistical system,the rural household energy statistical system is incomplete and is often associated with high biases.Via a nationwide investigation,this study revealed high contributions to energy supply from coal and biomass fuels in the rural household energy sector,while electricity comprised∼20%.Stacking(the use of multiple sources of energy)is significant,and the average number of energy types was 2.8 per household.Compared to 2012,the consumption of biomass and coals in 2017 decreased by 45%and 12%,respectively,while the gas consumption amount increased by 204%.Increased gas and decreased coal consumptions were mainly in cooking,while decreased biomass was in both cooking(41%)and heating(59%).The time-sharing fraction of electricity and gases(E&G)for daily cooking grew,reaching 69%in 2017,but for space heating,traditional solid fuels were still dominant,with the national average shared fraction of E&G being only 20%.The non-uniform spatial distribution and the non-linear increase in the fraction of E&G indicated challenges to achieving universal access to modern cooking energy by 2030,particularly in less-developed rural and mountainous areas.In some non-typical heating zones,the increased share of E&G for heating was significant and largely driven by income growth,but in typical heating zones,the time-sharing fraction was<5%and was not significantly increased,except in areas with policy intervention.The intervention policy not only led to dramatic increases in the clean energy fraction for heating but also accelerated the clean cooking transition.Higher income,higher education,younger age,less energy/stove stacking and smaller family size positively impacted the clean energy transition. | Guofeng Shen Rui Xiong Yanlin Tian Zhihan Luo Bahabaike Jiangtulu Wenjun Meng Wei Du Jing Meng Yuanchen Chen Bing Xue Bin Wang Yonghong Duan Jia Duo Fenggui Fan Lei Huang Tianzhen Ju Fenggui Liu Shunxin Li Xianli Liu Yungui Li Mu Wang Ying Nan Bo Pan Yanfang Pan Lizhi Wang Eddy Zeng Chao Zhan Yilin Chen Huizhong Shen Hefa Cheng Shu Tao | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,7: | 4 |

| 5 | Is proton a charge carrier for δ-MnO_(2) cathode in aqueous rechargeable magnesium-ion batteries?显示文摘Manganese dioxide(MnO_(2)) is considered as a potential cathode material for aqueous magnesium-ion batteries. However, the charge/discharge mechanism of MnO_(2)in aqueous electrolyte is still unclear. In present study, highly porous δ-MnO_(2) is investigated, which delivers a high capacity of 252.1 m Ah g^(-1) at 0.05 A g^(-1) and excellent rate capability, i.e., 109.7 m Ah g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1), but a low-capacity retention of 54.4% after 800 cycles at 1 A g^(-1). The two-step discharging process, namely a consequent H^(+) and Mg^(2+) insertion reaction, is verified, by comparing the electrochemical performance of δ-MnO_(2) in 1 M MgCl_(2) and 1 M MnCl_(2) aqueous electrolyte and analyzing detailedly the Mg content and the bonding state of Mn at different charge/discharge state. | 11 | The upper bound on the tensor-to-scalar ratio consistent with quantum gravity显示文摘We consider the polynomial inflation with the tensor-to-scalar ratio as large as possible which can be consistent with the quantum gravity(QG) corrections and effective field theory(EFT). To get a minimal field excursion ΔΦ for enough e-folding number N, the inflaton field traverses an extremely flat part of the scalar potential, which results in the Lyth bound to be violated. We get a CMB signal consistent with Planck data by numerically computing the equation of motion for inflaton Φ and using Mukhanov–Sasaki formalism for primordial spectrum. Inflation ends at Hubble slow-roll parameter ε_(1)^(H)=1 or a=0. Interestingly, we find an excellent practical bound on the inflaton excursion in the format a+b√r, where a is a tiny real number and b is at the order 1. To be consistent with QG/EFT and suppress the high-dimensional operators, we show that the concrete condition on inflaton excursion is M_(PI)/△_(Ф)<0.2×√10≈0.632. | 13 | Thermal Equation of State of Natural F-Rich Topaz up to 29 GPa and 750 K显示文摘Subducting oceanic sediments and crusts,originating from the Earth's surface and descending into its deep interior,are important carriers of volatiles.The volatiles have significant effects on materials cycling and the dynamic evolution of the subduction zones.A simplified Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-H_(2)O(ASH)ternary system models the relationship of minerals in the hydrated and alumina-silica rich sedimentary layer.Topaz Al_(2)SiO_(4)(F,OH)_(2)is an important mineral in the ASH system and comprises two volatiles:H_(2)O and fluorine(F).In this study,the thermoelasticity of a natural F-rich topaz was investigated using synchrotron-based single-crystal X-ray diffraction combined with diamond anvil cells up to 29.1 GPa and 750 K.The pressure-volume-temperature data were fitted to a third-order Birch-Murnaghan Equation of state with V_(0)=343.15(7)Å3,K_(0)=166(1)GPa,K_(0)'=3.0(1),(∂K_(0)/∂T)P=-0.015(9)GPa/K andα_(0)=3.9(5)×10^(-5)K^(-1).The isothermal bulk modulus increases with the F content in topaz,and the various F contents present significant effects on its anisotropic compressibility.Our results further reveal that the isothermal bulk modulus K_(0)of the minerals in ASH system increases with density.F and H contents in hydrous minerals might greatly affect their properties(e.g.,compressibility and stability),providing more comprehensive constraints on the subduction zones. | Yungui Liu Xiang Li Haipeng Song Jingui Xu Dongzhou Zhang Junfeng Zhang Xiang Wu | 2023 | Journal of Earth Science2023,34,3: | 0 |

| 20 | Abivertinib inhibits megakaryocyte differentiation and platelet biogenesis显示文摘Abivertinib,a third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor,is originally designed to target epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-activating mutations.Previous studies have shown that abivertinib has promising antitumor activity and a well-tolerated safety profile in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer.However,abivertinib also exhibited high inhibitory activity against Bruton’s tyrosine kinase and Janus kinase 3.Given that these kinases play some roles in the progression of megakaryopoiesis,we speculate that abivertinib can affect megakaryocyte(MK)differentiation and platelet biogenesis.We treated cord blood CD34+hematopoietic stem cells,Meg-01 cells,and C57BL/6 mice with abivertinib and observed megakaryopoiesis to determine the biological effect of abivertinib on MK differentiation and platelet biogenesis.Our in vitro results showed that abivertinib impaired the CFU-MK formation,proliferation of CD34+HSC-derived MK progenitor cells,and differentiation and functions of MKs and inhibited Meg-01-derived MK differentiation.These results suggested that megakaryopoiesis was inhibited by abivertinib.We also demonstrated in vivo that abivertinib decreased the number of MKs in bone marrow and platelet counts in mice,which suggested that thrombopoiesis was also inhibited.Thus,these preclinical data collectively suggested that abivertinib could inhibit MK differentiation and platelet biogenesis and might be an agent for thrombocythemia. | Jiansong Huang Xin Huang Yang Li Xia Li Jinghan Wang Fenglin Li Xiao Yan Huanping Wang Yungui Wang Xiangjie Lin Jifang Tu Daqiang He Wenle Ye Min Yang Jie Jin | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3: | 0 |
