| 4 | An Adaptive Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm for Unmanned Surface Vehicle in Complicated Marine Environments显示文摘Unmanned surface vehicles(USVs) are important autonomous marine robots that have been studied and gradually applied into practice. However, the autonomous navigation of USVs, especially the issue of obstacle avoidance in complicated marine environment, is still a fundamental problem. After studying the characteristics of the complicated marine environment, we propose a novel adaptive obstacle avoidance algorithm for USVs,based on the Sarsa on-policy reinforcement learning algorithm.The proposed algorithm is composed of local avoidance module and adaptive learning module, which are organized by the “divide and conquer” strategy-based architecture. The course angle compensation strategy is proposed to offset the disturbances from sea wind and currents. In the design of payoff value function of the learning strategy, the course deviation angle and its tendency are introduced into action rewards and penalty policies. The validity of the proposed algorithm is verified by comparative experiments of simulations and sea trials in three sea-state marine environments. | 10 | Numerical Calculation of Marine Propeller Hydrodynamic Characteristics in Unsteady Flow by Boundary Element Method显示文摘In this paper, a low order potential based on surface panel method is used for the analysis of marine propellers in unsteady flow. A linear propeller wake model is employed and its geometry is assumed to be independent of the time. The calculation in time domain is carried out from a moment when the rotation of the propeller becomes steady instead of from the moment when the rotation starts from stationary condition. At every time step a linear algebraic equation established on a key blade is solved numerically combined with the Kutta pressure condition. | 12 | HPSO-based fuzzy neural network control for AUV显示文摘A fuzzy neural network controller for underwater vehicles has many parameters difficult to tune manually. To reduce the numerous work and subjective uncertainties in manual adjustments,a hybrid particle swarm optimization (HPSO) algorithm based on immune theory and nonlinear decreasing inertia weight (NDIW) strategy is proposed. Owing to the restraint factor and NDIW strategy,an HPSO algorithm can effectively prevent premature convergence and keep balance between global and local searching abilities. Meanwhile,the algorithm maintains the ability of handling multimodal and multidimensional problems. The HPSO algorithm has the fastest convergence velocity and finds the best solutions compared to GA,IGA,and basic PSO algorithm in simulation experiments. Experimental results on the AUV simulation platform show that HPSO-based controllers perform well and have strong abilities against current disturbance. | 14 | Polarization of tumor-associated macrophages by TLR7/8 conjugated radiosensitive peptide hydrogel for overcoming tumor radioresistance显示文摘Radioresistance reduces the antitumor efficiency of radiotherapy and further restricts its clinical application,which is mainly caused by the aggravation of immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(ITM).Especially tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)usually display the tumor-promoting M2 phenotype during high-dose fractional radiotherapy mediating radiotherapy resistance.Herein,the toll like receptor agonist TLR7/8a was conjugated with radiosensitive peptide hydrogel(Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel)to regulate TAMs repolarization from M2 type into M1 type,thus modulating the ITM and overcoming the radioresistance.The Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel was fabricated through self-assembly with nanofibrous morphology,porous structure and excellent biocompatibility.Uponγ-ray radiation,Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel effectively polarized the macrophages into M1 type.Notably,combined with radiotherapy,TAMs repolarization regulated by Smac-TLR7/8 hydrogel could increase tumor necrosis factor secretion,activate antitumor immune response and effectively inhibit tumor growth.Moreover,TAMs repolarization rebuilt the ITM and elicited the immunogenic phenotypes in solid tumors,thus enhanced the PD1-blockade efficacy through increasing tumor infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)and decreasing Treg cells in two different immune activity tumor mice models.Overall,this study substantiated that recruiting and repolarization of TAMs were critical in eliciting antitumor immune response and overcoming radioresistance,thus improving the efficacy of radiotherapy and immunotherapy. | Yumin Zhang Zujian Feng Jinjian Liu Hui Li Qi Su Jiamin Zhang Pingsheng Huang Weiwei Wang Jianfeng Liu | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,10: | 1 |

| 19 | Study on Unsteady Hydrodynamic Performance of Propeller in Waves显示文摘The speed of a ship sailing in waves always slows down due to the decrease in efficiency of the propeller. So it is necessary and essential to analyze the unsteady hydrodynamic performance of propeller in waves. This paper is based on the numerical simulation and experimental research of hydrodynamics performance when the propeller is under wave conditions. Open-water propeller performance in calm water is calculated by commercial codes and the results are compared to experimental values to evaluate the accuracy of the numerical simulation method. The first-order Volume of Fluid(VOF) wave method in STAR CCM+ is utilized to simulate the three-dimensional numerical wave. According to the above prerequisite, the numerical calculation of hydrodynamic performance of the propeller under wave conditions is conducted, and the results reveal that both thrust and torque of the propeller under wave conditions reveal intense unsteady behavior. With the periodic variation of waves, ventilation, and even an effluent phenomenon appears on the propeller. | 20 | A news picture geo-localization pipeline based on deep learning and street view images显示文摘Numerous news or event pictures are taken and shared on the internet every day that have abundant information worth being mined,but only a small fraction of them are geotagged.The visual content of the news image hints at clues of the geographical location because they are usually taken at the site of the incident,which provides a prerequisite for geo-localization.This paper proposes an automated pipeline based on deep learning for the geo-localization of news pictures in a large-scale urban environment using geotagged street view images as a reference dataset.The approach obtains location information by constructing an attention-based feature extraction network.Then,the image features are aggregated,and the candidate street view image results are retrieved by the selective matching kernel function.Finally,the coordinates of the news images are estimated by the kernel density prediction method.The pipeline is tested in the news pictures in Hong Kong.In the comparison experiments,the proposed pipeline shows stable performance and generalizability in the large-scale urban environment.In addition,the performance analysis of components in the pipeline shows the ability to recognize localization features of partial areas in pictures and the effectiveness of the proposed solution in news picture geo-localization. | Tianyou Chu Yumin Chen Heng Su Zhenzhen Xu Guodong Chen Annan Zhou | 2022 | International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1: | 0 |
