| 1 | K-Ar dating of late Mesozoic volcanism and geochemistry of volcanic gravels in the North Huaiyang Belt, Dabie orogen: Constraints on the stratigraphic framework and exhumation of the northern Dabie orthogneiss complex显示文摘Two eruption episodes are identified through systematic field investigations and K-Ar dating of the late Mesozoic volcanic rocks in the North Huaiyang belt (NHB), Dabie orogenic belt, of which the earlier volcanic suite termed Maotanchang Fm. (Fm.) occurring at Jinzhai, Xianhualing and Maotanchang, etc., was erupted from 149 Ma to 138 Ma. The other named Xiaotian Fm. mainly distributed at Xiaotian, Shucheng, etc., was formed between 132 Ma and 116 Ma. During the eruption gap of the two volcanic suites deposited a volcano-sedimentary conglomerate layer, which are composed of the multi-compositional gravels, including the North Dabie orthogneiss complex (NDOC), volcanic gravels, etc. These volcanic gravels in the conglomerate layer show identical geochemical and isotopic compositions (87Sr/86Sr(t) =0.7084-0.7092,εNd(t) =-21.8--24.4) to the Maotanchang Fm. volcanic rocks (87Sr/86Sr = 0.7086-0.7102,εNd = -19.2-24.4), but significantly distinct from those of Xiaotian Fm. | 5 | Petrochemistry and Tectonic Setting of the Middle Triassic Arc-Like Volcanic Rocks in the Sayabouli Area,NW Laos显示文摘The volcanic rocks from the Sayabouli area in northwestern Laos have been poorly studied. These volcanic rocks are traditionally mapped as the Permian–Early Triassic sequences on the geological map. One basaltic-andesite from the Sayabouli area yields a zircon U-Pb age of 237.7±1.7 Ma, suggesting a Middle Triassic origin. All basalt and basaltic-andesite samples from the Sayabouli area show depletions in HFSEs(e.g., Nb, Ta, Ti) and have high LILE/HFSE ratios, and exhibit the geochemical affinity to the continental arc volcanic rocks and are geochemically similar to the continental arc volcanic rocks from the Phetchabun belt in northeastern Thailand, suggesting a Late Permian–Middle Triassic continental margin in the Sayabouli area of northwestern Laos and Phetchabun area of northeastern Thailand. | 6 | Geochemical and Geochronological Constraints on the Origin of the Meta-basic Volcanic Rocks in the Tengtiaohe Zone, Southeast Yunnan显示文摘The meta-basic volcanic rocks in the Tengtiaohe Zone yield zircon U–Pb ages of 258.8±2.5 Ma and 259.2±1.8 Ma, respectively which agree with the ages of flood basalts of ELIP and are similar to the basaltic rocks and komatiites from the Song Da Zone in northern Vietnam. The results suggest that the age of meta-basic volcanic rocks is Late Permian, rather than the Early Permian or Early Carboniferous ages as previously inferred. Most meta-basic volcanic rocks are strongly enriched in LREEs relative to HREEs and display trace element patterns similar to the ELIP high-Ti basalts, and are enriched in LILEs with negative Sr anomalies. Their initial ^(87)Sr/^(86) Sr ratios range from 0.705974 to 0.706188 and εNd(t) from-0.82 to-2.11. Their magmas were derived from an enriched and deep mantle source without significant crustal contamination. These meta-basic volcanic rocks formed in ELIP. | 17 | Evolution of lithofacies and paleogeography and hydrocarbon distribution worldwide(I)显示文摘By using a large amount of geological and geophysical data, the geological characteristics such as lithofacies and paleogeography of 4981 geological units at thirteen key geological periods or epoches since the Precambrian in the world have been figured out. The global lithofacies and paleogeography charts have been compiled by ArcGis mapping technology. Combined with the results of plate-paleogeography reconstruction, the lithofacies and paleogeography as well as the prototype basins of these global paleoplates have been restored with the Gplate software. Results show that there are 22 kinds of lithofacies combinations and 10 types of paleogeography units developed since Precambrian. These features of lithofacies and paleogeography as well as their evolution were mainly controlled by the divergent and convergent movements of those plates. Taking the results of the lithofacis and paleogeography at the present and paleoplate location during the seven key geological periods from the Precambrian to Paleozoic for example, during the Late Precambrian and Cambrian, the large-scale disintegration of the Rodinia supercontinent resulted in reduction of uplift denudation area and clastic terrestrial facies area, the expansion of coastal-shallow marine facies and shallow-water carbonate platform. In Devonian, uplift denudation area and clastic terrestrial facies area began to increase and littoral-shallow marine facies area and shallow-water carbonate platform shrank as a result of the formation of Larussia supercontinent. In the Permian, with the formation of the Pangea continent, the development of the global uplift denudation area and clastic terrestrial facies reached its peak, while the littoral and shallow marine facies were very limited in distribution. | 19 | The combination of novel immune checkpoints HHLA2 and ICOSLG:A new system to predict survival and immune features in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Studies on immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting B7-CD28 family pathways in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)have shown promising results.However,a comprehensive understanding of B7-CD28 family members in ESCC is still limited.This study aimed to construct a novel B7-CD28 family-based prognosis system to predict survival in patients with ESCC.We collected 179 cases from our previously published microarray data and 86 cases with qPCR data.Specifically,119 microarray data(GSE53624)were used as a training set,whereas the remaining 60 microarray data(GSE53622),all 179 microarray data(GSE53625)and an independent cohort with 86 qPCR data were used for validation.The underlying mechanism and immune landscape of the system were also explored using bioinformatics and immunofluorescence.We examined 13 well-defined B7-CD28 family members and identified 2 genes(ICSOLG and HHLA2)with the greatest prognostic value.A system based on the combination HHLA2 and ICOSLG(B7-CD28 signature)was constructed to distinguish patients as high-or low-risk of an unfavorable outcome,which was further confirmed as an independent prognostic factor.As expected,the signature was well validated in the entire cohort and in the independent cohort,as well as in different clinical subgroups.The signature was found to be closely related to immune-specific biological processes and pathways.Additionally,high-risk group samples demonstrated high infiltration of Tregs and fibroblasts and distinctive immune checkpoint panels.Collectively,we built the first,practical B7-CD28 signature for ESCC that could independently identify high-risk patients.Such information may help inform immunotherapy-based treatment decisions for patients with ESCC. | Chaoqi Zhang Feng Wang Nan Sun Zhen Zhang Guochao Zhang Zhihui Zhang Yuejun Luo Yun Che Hong Cheng Jiagen Li Jie He | 2022 | Genes & Diseases2022,9,2: | 0 |
