4Geometric Approach for Kinematic Analysis of a Class of 2-DOF Rotational Parallel Manipulators显示文摘Euler angles are commonly used as the orientation representation of most two degrees of freedom(2-DOF) rotational parallel mechanisms(RPMs),as a result,the coupling of two angle parameters leads to complexity of kinematic model of this family of mechanisms.While a simple analytical kinematic model with respect to those parameters representing the geometrical characteristics of the mechanism,is very helpful to improve the performance of RPMs.In this paper,a new geometric kinematic modeling approach based on the concept of instantaneous single-rotation-angle is proposed and used for the 2-DOF RPMs with symmetry in a homo-kinetic plane.To authors' knowledge,this is a new contribution to parallel mechanisms.By means of this method,the forwards kinematics of 2-DOF RPMs is derived in a simple way,and three cases i.e.4-4R mechanism(Omni-wrist III),spherical five-bar one,and 3-RSR&1-SS one demonstrate the validity of the proposed geometric method.In addition,a novel 2-DOF RPM architecture with virtual center-of-motion is presented by aid of the same method.The result provides a useful tool for simplifying the model and extending the application of the RPMs.DONG Xin YU Jingjun CHEN Bin ZONG Guanghua 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,2:11

6A 12-year cohort study on the efficacy of plasmaderived hepatitis B vaccine in rural newborns显示文摘AIM To understand the anti-HBs persistenceand the long-term preventive efficacy in ruralnewborns after vaccination with plasma-derivedhepatitis B vaccine.METHODS In the time of expanded program onimmunization(EPI),the newborns werevaccinated with 10μg×3 doses of hepatitis Bvaccine and 762 newborns who were HBsAgnegative after primary immunization wereselected for cohort observation from 1986 to1998.Their serum samples were detectedqualitatively and quantitatively for hepatitis Binfecting markers,including HBsAg,anti-HBsand anti-HBc by SPRIA Kits.The annual HBsAgpositive conversion rate was counted by life-table method.RESULTS①The anti-HBs positive rate was94.44% for the babies born to HBsAg negativemothers and 84.21% for those born to HBsAgpositive mothers in the 1st year afterimmunization,and dropped to 51.31% and52.50% in the 12th year respectively.GMT valuewas dropped from 31.62 to 3.13 and 23.99 to 3.65in the 2nd to the 12th year respectively.Therewas a marked drop in GMT at the 3rd to the 5thyear,and in anti-HBs positive rate at the 9th tothe 10th year.②In the period of 12 yearsobservation,the person-year HBsAg positive conversion rates were 0.12%(5/4150.0)innewborns born to HBsAg negative mothers and0.20%(1/508.0)in those born to HBsAgpositive mothers,and none of the HBsAgpositive converted children became HBsAgchronic carriers.Compared with the baselinebefore immunization,the protective rates were97.19% and 95.32% respectively.CONCLUSION The protective efficacy ofplasma-derived hepatitis B vaccine persisted atleast 12 years,and a booster dose seems notnecessary within at least 12 years after theprimary three-doses immunization to newbornsborn to HBsAg negative mothers.Hong Bin Liu Zong Da Meng Jing Chen Ma Chang Quan Han Ying Lin Zhang Zhan Chun Xing Yu Wei Zhang Yu Zhong Liu Hui Lin Cao 2000World Journal of Gastroenterology2000,6,3:11
7Numeration and type synthesis of 3-DOF orthogonal translational parallel manipulators显示文摘Low-degree-of-freedom (Low-DOF) parallel manipulators (PMs) have drawn extensive interests, particularly in type synthesis in which two main formal approaches were established by using the reciprocal screw system theory and Lie group theory. This paper aims at numeration and type synthesis of orthogonal translational parallel manipulators (OTPMs) by resorting to an integration of the group- based method and graphical representation of the topology. For this purpose, the concept of Cartesian DOF-characteristic matrix, orig- inated from displacement subgroup and displacement submanifold, is proposed. A new approach based on the combination of the atlas of Cartesian DOF-characteristic matrix and the displacement group-theoretic method is addressed for both exhaustive classi cation and type synthesis of OTPMs. The proposed approach is prone to construct an orthogonal structure and is easy to realize the complete clas- si cation and exhaustive enumeration of this class of low-DOF PMs.Jingjun Yu Jian S. 10Podoplanin mediates the renoprotective effect of berberine on diabetic kidney disease in mice显示文摘Hyperglycemia-caused podocyte injury plays a crucial role in the progress of diabetic kidney disease.Podoplanin,one of the podocyte-associated molecules,is closely related to the integrity of the glomerular filtration barrier.A number of studies demonstrate that berberine could ameliorate renal dysfunction in diabetic mice with nephropathy,but the molecular mechanisms have not been fully elucidated.In this study,we explored the relationship between the renoprotective effect of berberine and podoplanin expression in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic mice as well as mouse podocytes(MPC5 cells)cultured in high glucose(HG,30 mM)medium.We found that the expression levels of podoplanin were significantly decreased both in the renal glomerulus of STZ-induced diabetic mice and HG-cultured MPC5 cells.We also demonstrated that NF-κB signaling pathway was activated in MPC5 cells under HG condition,which downregulated the expression level of podoplanin,thus leading to increased podocyte apoptosis.Administration of berberine(100,200 mg/kg every day,ig;for 8 weeks)significantly improved hyperglycemia and the renal function of STZ-induced diabetic mice and restored the expression level of podoplanin in renal glomerulus.In high glucose-cultured MPC5 cells,treatment with berberine(30-120μM)dose-dependently decreased the apoptosis rate,increased the expression of podoplanin,and inhibited the activation of NF-κB signaling pathway.When podoplanin expression was silenced with shRNA,berberine treatment still inhibited the NF-κB signaling pathway,but its antiapoptotic effect on podocytes almost disappeared.Our results suggest that berberine inhibits the activation of NF-κB signaling pathway,thus increasing the podoplanin expression to exert renoprotective effects.Jing Yu Guan-nan Zong Hao Wu Ke-qin Zhang 2019Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2019,40,12:8

12A unified approach to type synthesis of both rigid and flexure parallel mechanisms显示文摘Type synthesis of both rigid and compliant parallel mechanisms has become a hot issue in the field of mechanisms and robotics research in recent years. A unified approach to type synthesis of the two classes of mechanisms, however, has not been referred and investigated up to date. Based on the state-of-art analysis for several major type synthesis approaches related to rigid and compliant mechanisms, respectively, it proves feasible to establish a unified methodology for type synthesis of these two classes of mechanisms. That is a synthesis philosophy in terms of the hierarchy mapping between mathematic, physical, and mechanical building blocks in the framework of screw theory, as addressed in this paper. The key point of the proposed method lies in establishing the mapping among three different building blocks (i.e. geometric building block, kinematic or constraint building block, and mechanical building block). As a result, it makes the whole type synthesis process simple and visible. By using the proposed method, two examples are taken to verify the effectiveness for the type synthesis of both rigid and flexure mechanisms. 15A fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling and its applications显示文摘We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth’s surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. 16Novel Annulus-shaped Flexure Pivot in Rotation Application and Dimensionless Design显示文摘Large-deflection flexure pivot is widely used in high precision rotation application, but there are less flexure configurations and simple and convenient design methods. This paper presents a novel large-deflection curved-compliant annulus-shaped flexure pivot composed of six curved beam flexure elements. It can offer more than 10°angular stroke theoretically. Firstly, main-motion pseudo-rigid-body method is introduced to establish the flexure pivot model. Although pseudo-rigid-body method can be used to analyze the large-deformation flexure pivot performance, the method is definitely a laborious and difficult task for designing this novel flexure pivot. In order to simply the designing process, dimension-design graphs based on the parametric models and finite element analysis is presented. Using the dimension-design method as a tool, the designers can determine the optimal geometry rapidly, based on the stiffness and rotation demands of an annulus-shaped flexure pivot. Finally, dimension-design graph examples are given whose primary design aims to achieve a rotation stroke of annulus-shaped flexure pivot. The finite element analysis results show that the relative designing error between anticipative rotation stroke and graph design result is less than 4%. The dimensionless method used in designing annulus-shaped flexure pivot can reduce design process in both time and complexity. 17H2 strain attenuated live hepatitis A vaccines:protective efficacy in a hepatitis A outbreak显示文摘AIM To investigate the protective efficacy ofH2 strain attenuated live hepatitis A vaccines(H2-strain vaccines)in hepatitis A(HA)outbreaks.METHODS With the permission of theirparents,5551 pre-school and grade 1-3 primaryschool children were inoculated with 1 dose(106.5TCID50)of H2-strain vaccines in anonrandomized,controlled trial conducted inFucheng County,Hebei Province in May 1997.Another 6485 children in the same grades andcompatible in gender and age were enrolled ascontrols.Epidemiological and serological surveywas conducted to evaluate the protectiveefficacy of the vaccines.ELISA was used todetect serum IgM anti-HAV.RESULTS HA outbreak started in early May1998,peaked in the middle of the same month,and lasted about 80 days.Overall 302 HA caseswere found,192(53.58%)were 5-9 years old.One vaccinee and 25 control cases were found tohave hepatitis A,which account for 0.28%(1/356)and 5.92%(25/422)of all vaccinees andcontrols in the 14 villages,respectively.The protective efficacy of vaccines was 95.27%(95% Cl:85.83%-104.72%).In subjects testedfor anti-HAV IgM from 13 villages,1(0.40%)overt and 11(4.06%)asymptomatic HAV caseswere found in 271 vaccinees,but 21(6.69%)ofovert and asymptomatic ones were found in 314controls.CONCLUSION H2 strain vaccines were excellent in preventing overt hepatitis A, but not so effective in preventing asymptomatic hepatitis A virus infection.
