| 2 | Water-resisting ability of cemented broken rocks显示文摘Using the self-designed testing system, the seepage tests for cemented broken rocks were conducted, and the impact of different factors on water-resisting ability was analyzed. The results show that(1) seepage process of the cemented broken rocks can be divided into two categories: in one category, seepage instability occurs after a period of time, in the other, the permeability decreases slowly and tends to be stable,and seepage instability does not occur;(2) cementing performance of cementing agent and grain size distribution are the decisive factors for water-resisting ability, with the increase of cementing performance and the mass percentage of large grains, the water-resisting ability of the specimen strengthens;(3)aggregate type has little effect on seepage stability, for the specimens with different aggregate types,the permeability and the duration of seepage instability have small difference;(4) initial porosity has a certain effect on the water-resisting ability of the specimen, but has no decisive role. | 4 | Elevated nuclear PIGL disrupts the cMyc/BRD4 axis and improves PD-1 blockade therapy by dampening tumor immune evasion显示文摘To improve the efficacy of lenvatinib in combination with programmed death-1(PD-1)blockade therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),we screened the suppressive metabolic enzymes that sensitize HCC to lenvatinib and PD-1 blockade,thus impeding HCC progression.After analysis of the CRISPR‒Cas9 screen,phosphatidylinositol-glycan biosynthesis class L(PIGL)ranked first in the positive selection list.PIGL depletion had no effect on tumor cell growth in vitro but reprogrammed the tumor microenvironment(TME)in vivo to support tumor cell survival.Specifically,nuclear PIGL disrupted the interaction between cMyc/BRD4 on the distant promoter of target genes and thus decreased the expression of CCL2 and CCL20,which are involved in shaping the immunosuppressive TME by recruiting macrophages and regulatory T cells.PIGL phosphorylation at Y81 by FGFR2 abolished the interaction of PIGL with importinα/β1,thus retaining PIGL in the cytosol and facilitating tumor evasion by releasing CCL2 and CCL20.Clinically,elevated nuclear PIGL predicts a better prognosis for HCC patients and presents a positive correlation with CD8+T-cell enrichment in tumors.Clinically,our findings highlight that the nuclear PIGL intensity or the change in PIGL-Y81 phosphorylation should be used as a biomarker to guide lenvatinib with PD-1 blockade therapy. | Hua Yu Tiezhu Shi Linli Yao Dongwei Xu Yufeng Ding Qiang Xia Wei Liu Xiongjun Wang | 2023 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,8: | 1 |

| 7 | The Variability of Air-sea O_(2)Flux in CMIP6:Implications for Estimating Terrestrial and Oceanic Carbon Sinks显示文摘The measurement of atmospheric O_(2)concentrations and related oxygen budget have been used to estimate terrestrial and oceanic carbon uptake.However,a discrepancy remains in assessments of O_(2)exchange between ocean and atmosphere(i.e.air-sea O_(2)flux),which is one of the major contributors to uncertainties in the O_(2)-based estimations of the carbon uptake.Here,we explore the variability of air-sea O_(2)flux with the use of outputs from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 6(CMIP6).The simulated air-sea O_(2)flux exhibits an obvious warming-induced upward trend(~1.49 Tmol yr−2)since the mid-1980s,accompanied by a strong decadal variability dominated by oceanic climate modes.We subsequently revise the O_(2)-based carbon uptakes in response to this changing air-sea O_(2)flux.Our results show that,for the 1990−2000 period,the averaged net ocean and land sinks are 2.10±0.43 and 1.14±0.52 GtC yr−1 respectively,overall consistent with estimates derived by the Global Carbon Project(GCP).An enhanced carbon uptake is found in both land and ocean after year 2000,reflecting the modification of carbon cycle under human activities.Results derived from CMIP5 simulations also investigated in the study allow for comparisons from which we can see the vital importance of oxygen dataset on carbon uptake estimations. | Changyu LI Jianping HUANG Lei DING Yu REN Linli AN Xiaoyue LIU Jiping HUANG | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,8: | 1 |
| 8 | APPLICATION OF SATELLITE CLOUD IMAGERY IN TRACK ANALYSIS OF TROPICAL CYCLONES显示文摘China is frequently affected by tropical cyclones in summer and autumn because its southern and eastern parts border low-latitude oceans.The track forecasting of tropical cyclones is a key issue in weather forecasting.In daily operations,forecasters usually focus on the effects of environmental flow fields on tropical cyclones,such as the subtropical high pressure belt,the basic flow,the troughs and ridges in westerlies,the cross-equatorial flow,the equatorial convergence belt,and the polar front.However,these factors become less significant when the environmental fields are so weak that the steering flow does not play a vital role or we cannot accurately determine the evolution of the environment flow field.Meteorological satellite cloud imagery can fill the data gap of conventional observations and provide important clues for forecasting the status and development of tropical cyclones when they are included in day-to-day weather forecasting operations.In this study,using 'Muifa', 'Haikui' and other typhoons as examples,the effects of the cloud pattern and the large-scale environmental vapor fields,on the moving tracks of typhoons were analyzed based on satellite data.The results showed that the change of structures of typhoon spiral cloud bands and the turning of the typhoon path were taking on greater relevance,and at the same time the satellite water vapor images had obvious advantages in terms of indicating the large-scale environmental fields.A combination of satellite cloud imagery,observational data,and weather event analysis remains the most effective approach in the operational forecasting of typhoon moving tracks. | Linli Cui Lanhong Shi Qiu Yin Wei Yu Xiaoqin Lu Jie Liu | 2013 | Tropical Cyclone Research and Review2013,2,4: | 0 |

| 10 | The composition and functional profile of the microbial communities in human gastric cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)is known to be a major risk factor for the development of gastric cancer.In recent years,increasing attention is being paid to the role of non-H.pylori Helicobacters(NHPHs)in this disease and the role of microorganisms in local tumor microenvironment.In this study,we aimed to compare the microbial community composition and the predicted functional profile in paired cancer and adjacent normal tissues of gastric cancer patients.Cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues were collected from 10 patients with gastric cancer under endoscopy,and genomic DNA was extracted.The V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene was amplified by PCR and paired-end sequencing was performed on the Illumina MiSeq System.The data was analyzed using QIIME 2 software.The results showed that microbial richness and diversity as well as genetic diversity are significantly lower in cancer tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues.At the phylum level,the dominant taxa are Proteobacteria,Thermi,Actinobacteria,Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes in both groups.At the genus level,some taxa,such as Cupriavidus and Sphingomonas,are significantly enriched in cancer tissues,while other taxa,such as Ochrobactrum,are enriched in adjacent normal tissues.Moreover,those taxa enriched in cancer tissues are associated with the synthesis and degradation of ketone bodies.In conclusion,there is a significant difference in the composition of the mucosa-related microbial communities between cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues in patients with gastric cancer. | Linli Shi Qilin Fan Bin Zhou Jingjing Wu Min Jin Dandan Yu Tao Zhang Jun Song Hongli Liu | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1: | 0 |

| 12 | Nuclear translocation of OsMADS25 facilitated by OsNAR2.1 in reponse to nitrate signals promotes rice root growth by targeting OsMADS27 and OsARF7显示文摘Nitrate is an important nitrogen source and signaling molecule that regulates plant growth and development.Although several components of the nitrate signaling pathway have been identified,the detailed mechanisms are still unclear.Our previous results showed that OsMADS25 can regulate root development in response to nitrate signals,but the mechanism is still unknown.Here,we try to answer two key questions:how does OsMADS25 move from the cytoplasm to the nucleus,and what are the direct target genes activated by OsMADS25 to regulate root growth after it moves to the nucleus in response to nitrate?Our results demonstrated that OsMADS25 moves from the cytoplasm to the nucleus in the presence of nitrate in an OsNAR2.1-dependentmanner.Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing,chromatin immunoprecipitation qPCR,yeast one-hybrid,and luciferase experiments showed that OsMADS25 directly activates the expression of OsMADS27 and OsARF7,which are reported to be associated with root growth.Finally,OsMADS25-RNAi lines,the Osnar2.1 mutant,and OsMADS25-RNAi Osnar2.1 lines exhibited significantly reduced root growth compared with the wild type in response to nitrate supply,and expression of OsMADS27 and OsARF7 was significantly suppressed in these lines.Collectively,these results reveal a new mechanismby which OsMADS25 interacts with OsNAR2.1.This interaction is required for nuclear accumulation of OsMADS25,which promotes OsMADS27 and OsARF7 expression and root growth in a nitratedependent manner. | Junyu Wu Shuaiqi Yang Nana Chen Qining Jiang Linli Huang Jiaxuan Qi Guohua Xu Lisha Shen Hao Yu Xiaorong Fan Yinbo Gan | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,6: | 0 |
