Simulation of blast induced crater in jointed rock mass by discontinuous deformation analysis method显示文摘Rock blasting is a dynamic process accom panied with the propagations of shock waves and the dispersion of the explosion gas. This paper adopts the discontinuous deformation analysis(DDA)method to simulate the rock blasting process.A dynamic parameter adjustment and the non-reflecting boundary condition are implemented in the DDA method. The sub-block DDA method to simulate fracture problems is used. The blasting process in jointed rock mass is simulated by application of the explosion gas pressure on the expanding borehole walls and induced connected fracture surfaces around the boreholes. The blast craters with different overburdens are derived. The whole process including the explosion gas dispersion, borehole expansion, rock mass failure and cast, and the formation of the final blasting piles in rock blasting are well reproduced numerically.Parametric study for different overburdens is carried out,and the results are analyzed and discussed. | Youjun NING Jun YANG Xinmei AN Guowei MA | 2010 | Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2010,4,2: | 2
Mobile Internet Applications:Impact on Future Wireless Communications System显示文摘Based on the analysis of application status in real network, the trace model of some typical mobile Internet applications data is given and their impact on 2G/3G network is discussed in this paper.Furthermore,in order to support the mobile Internet application efficiently in future, the issues including the impact on the Long Term Evolution (LTE-A) system and some potential solutions for performance optimization are studied.Based on the trace data model of IM traffic, the performacne evaluaiton of LTE-A system shows that some specific configuration machanisms can play an important role in improving network system efficiency in the case of IM traffic. | Gao Youjun Yang Ning Cui Chunfeng Kimba Dit Adamou Boubacar | 2012 | China Communications2012,9,4: | 1
A shape-persistent plasticine-like conductive hydrogel with self-healing properties for peripheral nerve regeneration显示文摘In recent years, electrically conductive hydrogel-based nerve guidance conduits(NGCs)have yielded promising results for treating peripheral nerve injuries(PNIs).However, developed ones are generally pre-manufactured and exhibit a limited ability to achieve good contact with nerve tissue with irregu-lar surfaces.Herein,we developed a plasticine-like electrically conductive hydrogel consisting of gelatin, conducting polypyrrole, and tannic acid(named GPT)and assessed its ability to promote peripheral nerve regeneration. The shape-persistent GPT hydrogel exhibited good self-healing properties and could easily be molded to form a conduit that could match any injured nerve tissue.Their electrical properties could be tuned by changing the PPy concentration. In vitro, the improved conductivity of the hydrogel pro-moted dorsal root ganglion(DRG)axonal extension.More importantly,we found that the GPT hydrogel enhanced axonal regeneration and remyelination in vivo, preventing denervation atrophy and enhancing functional recovery in a mice model of sciatic nerve injury. These results suggest that our plasticine-like NGC has huge prospects for clinical application in the repair of PNI. | Xinchang Kang Xiaojun Li Can Liu Min Cai Pengfei Guan Yian Luo Youjun Guan Yu Tian Kunyu Ren Chengyun Ning Lei Fan Guoxin Tan Lei Zhou | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,11: | 0
Catalase promotes whitefly adaptation to high temperature by eliminating reactive oxygen species显示文摘Thermal stress usually leads to excessive production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in all aerobic organisms.Catalases(CAT)are the key antioxidant enzymes, which act as the first line of defense against ROS in the antioxidant pathway. The highly invasive and widely distributed whitefly Bemisia tabaci MED damages plants by feeding as well as by transmitting many plant viruses.Previous studies have shown that strong adaptability to high temperature helps explain the spread of MED around the world. However, the mechanism underlying high temperature adaptation of this pest is not well understood. In this study,6 CAT genes were identified from the MED genome and transcriptome dataset, among which BtCAT1,BtCAT2,and BtCAT3 were found to be highly expressed in adults. The expression of BtCAT1,BtCAT2,or BtCAT3 increased with induction temperature and induction time. The MED was exposed with mean high temperature(30℃ or 35℃)and a short-term extremely high temperature(39℃ or 41℃)after the silencing of BtCAT1,BtCAT2,or BtCAT3 to significantly increased ROS levels by at least 0.5 times and significantly decreased survival rate and fecundity of MED adults. The ROS level in the treated specimens gradually returned to a normal level after 24 h at 25℃,but the survival rate still declined significantly.Taken together, our results demonstrate that CAT could help B.tabaci adapt to long-term mean high temperatures and short-term extremely high temperatures by eliminating excessive ROS. | Peng Liang Jie Ning Wenlu Wang Pu Zhu Lianyou Gui Wen Xie Youjun Zhang | 2023 | Insect Science2023,30,5: | 0
Dietary supplementation with pyrroloquinoline quinone promotes growth, relieves weaning stress, and regulates metabolism of piglets compared with adding zinc oxide显示文摘Hindered growth often occurs because of psychological and environmental stress during the weaning period of piglets. This study aimed to compare the effects of growth performance, diarrhea indices, digestibility of nutrients, antioxidant capacity, neurotransmitters levels and metabolism of weaned pigs fed diets supplemented with pyrroloquinoline quinone(PQQ)and zinc oxide(ZnO).Pigs weaned at d 28(n=108)were fed with three different diets including:the basal diet(CTRL group),the basal diet supplemented with 3.0 mg/kg PQQ(PQQ group)and the basal diet containing 1,600 mg/kg ZnO(ZNO group).During the first 14 d,weaned pigs fed the diet supplemented with PQQ and ZnO decreased feed to gain ratio and diarrhea rate(P<0.01).Compared with the CTRL group, average daily gain was increased in weaned pigs in the PQQ group from d 15 to 28(P=0.03).Compared with the CTRL group, pigs fed PQQ and ZnO supplemented diets showed improved apparent total tract digestibility(ATTD)of nutrients(P≤0.05).During the overall experimental period, the concentration of malondialdehyde was decreased in plasma of pigs in the PQQ and ZNO groups compared with the CTRL group(P<0.05).At d 28,the concentration of vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)was lower in plasma of weaned pigs in the PQQ and ZNO groups compared with the CTRL group(P<0.05).There was no difference between the PQQ and ZNO group in growth performance,ATTD of nutrition, antioxidant capacity and neurotransmitters levels.PQQ increased 3-methoxy-4-hydroxymandelate(P<0.05)compared with the CTRL group.According to metabolomic analysis, erucamide, formononetin and 3-methyl-L-histidine were up-regulated in the PQQ group(P<0.05).Compared with the CTRL group, aloesin and dibutyl adipate were down-regulated in the PQQ group(P<0.05).In conclusion, similar to ZnO,PQQ improves growth performance, digestibility of nutrients, antioxidant capacity, neuromodulation and metabolism of weaned pigs. Thus, like ZnO,PQQ can be effectively applied in weaned pigs. | Chenyu Shi Zirou Yu Zijie Wang Ran Ning Caiyun Huang Youjun Gao Fenglai Wang | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,4: | 0
