1Red-emitting YAG:Ce,Mn transparent ceramics for warm WLEDs application显示文摘A series of YAG:Ce,Mn transparent ceramics were prepared via a solid-state reaction-vacuum sintering method. The effects of various Mn^2+–Si4+pair doping levels on the structure, transmittance, and luminescence properties were systematically investigated. These transparent ceramics have average grain sizes of 10–16μm,clean grain boundaries, and excellent transmittance up to 83.4%at 800 nm.Under the excitation of 460 nm,three obvious emission peaks appear at 533,590,and 745 nm,which can be assigned to the transition 5 d→4 f of Ce^3+and 4 T1→6 A1 of Mn^2+.Thus,the Mn^2+–Si4+pairs can effectively modulate the emission spectrum by compensating broad orange-red and red spectrum component to yield high quality warm white light. After the optimized YAG:Ce,Mn transparent ceramic packaged with blue light-emitting diode(LED)chips, correlated color temperature(CCT)as low as 3723 K and luminous efficiency(LE)as high as 96.54 lm/W were achieved, implying a very promising candidate for application in white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)industry.Junrong LING Youfu ZHOU Wentao XU He LIN Shuai LU Bin WANG Kun WANG 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,1:15
2Next-generation Sequencing of MHC Class Ⅰ Genes Reveals Trans-species Polymorphism in Eutropis multifasciata and Other Species of Scincidae显示文摘The genes of the major histocompatibility complex(MHC) encode cell surface proteins that are essential for adaptive immunity. MHC genes show the most prominent genetic diversity in vertebrates, reflecting the adaptation of populations to their evolving environment, population survival and reproduction. In the present study, we used nextgeneration sequencing(NGS) to study the loci polymorphism of exon 3 of the MHC class Ⅰ genes in an ovoviviparous skink, the many-lined sun skink,Eutropis multifasciata and five other species of Scincidae, to quantify genetic variation. In addition,we genotyped the same MHC class Ⅰ genes of E.multifasciata using clone sequencing, to directly compare the effectiveness of both analytical techniques for MHC genotyping. NGS detected 20MHC class Ⅰ alleles in E. multifasciata, and 2 to 15 alleles in the other five Scincidae species. However, clone sequencing detected only 15 of those MHC class Ⅰ alleles in E. multifasciata. In addition, transspecies polymorphism of MHC class Ⅰ genes was studied by constructing a phylogenetic tree using the gene sequences obtained by NGS. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that MHC class I alleles were shared among different species of Scincidae with trans-species polymorphism, and did not exhibit specific genealogical inheritance. These results have important implications for understanding polymorphism interspecies diversity in the MHC genes of Scincidae, and the evolution of the MHC more broadly.Shufang ZHANG Youfu LIN Yingzhi CHENG Haiyun YANG Xiaming ZHU Yu DU Longhui LIN Yanfu QU LianCHEN Hong LI 2023Asian Herpetological Research2023,14,4:0
3Group-housed pigs and their body parts detection with Cascade Faster R-CNN显示文摘The detection of individual pigs and their parts is a key step to realizing automatic recognition of group-housed pigs’behavior by video monitoring. However,it is still difficult to accurately locate each individual pig and their body parts from video images of groups-housed pigs.To solve this problem,a Cascade Faster R-CNN Pig Detector(C-FRPD)was designed to detect the individual pigs and different parts of their body.Firstly, the features were extracted by 101-layers Residual Networks(ResNet-101)from video images of group-housed pigs, and the features were input into the region proposal networks(RPN)to obtain the region proposals. Then classification and bounding box regression on region proposals were performed to get the location of each pig. Finally, the body parts of the pig were determined by using the Cascade structure to search on the feature map of the pig body area. These operations completed the detection of the whole body of each pig and its different parts of the body, and established the association between the whole and parts of body in the end-to-end detection. In this study,1500 pig pen images were trained and tested. The test results showed that the detection accuracy of C-FRPD reached 98.4%.Compared with the Faster R-CNN without cascade structure, the average detection accuracy was increased by 4.3 percentage points. The average detection time of a single image was 259 ms.The method in this study could accurately detect and correlate the individual pig with its head, back, and tail in the image. This method can provide a technical reference for recognizing the behavior of group-housed pigs.Deqin Xiao Sicong Lin Youfu Liu Qiumei Yang Huilin Wu 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,3:0
