1Stoichiometric evolutions of PH3 under high pressure:implication for high-Tc superconducting hydrides显示文摘The superconductivity of hydrides under high pressure has attracted a great deal of attention since the recent observation of the superconducting transition at 203 K in strongly compressed H2S.It has been realized that the stoichiometry of hydrides might change under high pressure,which is crucial in understanding the superconducting mechanism.In this study,PH3 was studied to understand its superconducting transition and stoichiometry under high pressure using Raman,IR and X-ray diffraction measurements,as well as theoretical calculations.PH3 is stable below 11.7 GPa and then it starts to dehydrogenate through two dimerization processes at room temperature and pressures up to 25 GPa.Two resulting phosphorus hydrides,P2H4 and P4H6,were verified experimentally and can be recovered to ambient pressure.Under further compression above 35 GPa,the P4H6 directly decomposed into elemental phosphorus.Low temperature can greatly hinder polymerization/decomposition under high pressure and retains P4H6 up to at least 205 GPa.The superconductivity transition temperature of P4H6 is predicted to be 67 K at 200 GPa,which agrees with the reported result,suggesting that it might be responsible for superconductivity at higher pressures.Our results clearly show that P2H4 and P4H6 are the only stable P–H compounds between PH3 and elemental phosphorus,which is helpful for shedding light on the superconducting mechanism.Ye Yuan Yinwei Li Guoyong Fang Guangtao Liu Cuiying Pei Xin Li Haiyan Zheng Ke Yang Lin Wang 2019National Science Review2019,6,3:1
2In situ construction of zinc-rich polymeric solid–electrolyte interface for high-performance zinc anode显示文摘With their excellent reliability and environmental friendliness,zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)are regarded as potential energy storage technologies.Unfortunately,their poor cycling durability and low Coulombic effectiveness(CE),driven by dendritic growth and surface passivation on the Zn anode,severely restrict their commercialization.Herein,we describe the in situ construction of a Zn-rich polymeric solid–electrolyte interface(SEI)using poly-acrylic acid(PAA)as an electrolyte additive.On the one hand,the PAA SEI layer offers evenly distributed nucleation sites and promotes ion transport,hence suppressing dendrite growth.On the other hand,the SEI layer prevents direct contact between the Zn foil and the electrolyte,thus inhibiting side reactions.Additionally,the robust coordination of PAA with Zn^(2+)and the SEI layer's good adherence to the Zn foil provide long-term pro-tection to the Zn anode.As a result,symmetric cells and Zn/V_(2)O_(5)cells all deliver prolonged cycle life and superior electrochemical efficiency.Kaixuan Xie Kaixin Ren Qinghong Wang Yuxiao Lin Fengcan Ma Chuang Sun Yinwei Li Xinsheng Zhao Chao Lai 2023eScience2023,3,4:1
