1Switch type PANI/ZnO core-shell microwire heterojunction for UV photodetection显示文摘In this study,single crystal ZnO microwires(MW)with size of~5.4 mm×30μm are prepared through a chemical vapor deposition technique at high temperature(1200℃).Subsequently,p-type conducting polyaniline(PANI)polymers with different conductivities are densely coated on part of the ZnO MW to construct organic/inorganic core-shell heterojunction photodetectors.The hetero-diodes reach an extremely high rectifcation ratio(I_(+3V)/I_(-3V))of 749230,and a maximum rejection ratio(I_(350nm)/I_(dark))of 3556(at-3 V),indicating great potential as rectifed switches.All the heterojunction devices exhibit strong response to ultraviolet(UV)radiation with high response speed.Moreover,the obvious photovoltaic behavior can also be obtained,allowing the device to operate as an independent and stable unit without externally supplied power.Under 0 V bias voltage,the self-powered photodetector shows a maximum responsivity of 0.56 mA W~(-1)and a rapid response speed of 0.11 ms/1.45 ms(rise time/decay time).Finally,a fnite difference time domain(FDTD)simulation is performed to further demonstrate the interaction mechanism between the incident light feld and the hexagonal cavity,which strongly supports the enhancement of the light absorption in whispering-gallery-mode resonator.Yihan Chen Longxing Su Mingming Jiang Xiaosheng Fang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,10:3

3Species and Functions of Rhizobia Growing on Trees and Colonization Mechanisms显示文摘The current research progress in China shows that the tree species of rhizobia that have been found are mainly trees of 11 genera in Papilionaceae,Elaeagnaceae and Mimosaceae,and the rhizobia are mainlyα-rhizobia,which come from multiple genera.Temperature,pH value,NaCl content and antibiotics all affect the growth of tree rhizobia;and different species of rhizobia have different stress resistance,which is related to their living environment.Rhizobium inoculation can promote plant height,biomass,root-to-shoot ratio,and root architecture of trees.We discussed and analyzed the development history and application status of rhizobia research,and prospected their future development directions.In the future,tree rhizobia will surely be used as a means of production to promote efficient agricultural production and sustainable agricultural systems.Weixin CHEN Xiaolin SHEN Chaoyi YE Yihan SU Chengxiang XU 2021Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,5:1
4Multi-cycle reconfigurable THz extraordinary optical transmission using chalcogenide metamaterials显示文摘Metamaterials composed of metallic antennae arrays are used as they possess extraordinary optical transmission(EOT)in the terahertz(THz)region,whereby a giant forward light propagation can be created using constructive interference of tunneling surface plasmonic waves.However,numerous applications of THz meta-devices demand an active manipula-tion of the THz beam in free space.Although some studies have been carried out to control the EOT for the THz region,few of these are based upon electrical modulation of the EOT phenomenon,and novel strategies are required for act-ively and dynamically reconfigurable EOT meta-devices.In this work,we experimentally present that the EOT resonance can be coupled to optically reconfigurable chalcogenide metamaterials which offers a reversible all-optical control of the THz light.A modulation efficiency of 88%in transmission at 0.85 THz is experimentally observed using the EOT metama-terials,which is composed of a gold(Au)circular aperture array sitting on a non-volatile chalcogenide phase change ma-terial(Ge2Sb2Te5)film.This comes up with a robust and ultrafast reconfigurable EOT over 20 times of switching,excited by a nanosecond pulsed laser.The measured data have a good agreement with finite-element-method numerical simula-tion.This work promises THz modulators with significant on/off ratios and fast speeds.Tun Cao Meng Lian Xieyu Chen Libang Mao Kuan Liu Jingyuan Jia Ying Su Haonan Ren Shoujun Zhang Yihan Xu Jiajia Chen Zhen Tian Dongming Guo 2022Opto-Electronic Science2022,1,1:1
5^(137)Cs tracing of the spatial patterns in soil redistribution,organic carbon and total nitrogen in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The southeastern Tibetan Plateau,which profoundly affects East Asia by helping to maintain the stability of climate systems,biological diversity and clean water,is one of the regions most vulnerable to water erosion,wind erosion,tillage erosion,freeze-thaw erosion and overgrazing under global climate changes and intensive human activities.Spatial variations in soil erosion in terraced farmland(TL),sloping farmland(SL)and grassland(GL)were determined by the^(137)Cs tracing method and compared with spatial variations in soil organic carbon(SOC)and total nitrogen(total N).The^(137)Cs concentration in the GL was higher in the 0-0.03 m soil layer than in the other soil layers due to weak migration and diffusion under low precipitation and temperature conditions,while the^(137)Cs concentration in the soil layer of the SL was generally uniform in the 0-0.18 m soil layer due to tillage-induced mixing.Low^(137)Cs inventories appeared at the summit and toe slope positions in the SL due to soil loss by tillage erosion and water erosion,respectively,while the highest^(137)Cs inventories appeared at the middle slope posi-tions due to soil accumulation under relatively flat landform conditions.In the GL,the^(137)Cs data showed that higher soil erosion rates appeared at the summit due to freeze-thaw erosion and steep slope gradients and at the toe slope position due to wind erosion,gully erosion,freeze-thaw erosion and overgrazing.The^(137)Cs inventory generally increased from upper to lower slope positions within each terrace(except the lowest terrace).The^(137)Cs data along the terrace toposequence showed abrupt changes in soil erosion rates between the lower part of the upper terrace and the upper part of the immediate terrace over a short distance and net deposition on the lower and toe terraces.Hence,tillage erosion played an important role in the soil loss at the summit slope positions of each terrace,while water erosion dominantly transported soil from the upper terrace to the lower terrace and resulted in net soil deposition on the flat lower terrace.The SOC inventories showed similar spatial patterns to the^(137)Cs inventories in the SL,TL and GL,and significant correlations were found between the SOC and^(137)Cs inventories in these slope landscapes.The total N inventories showed similar spatial patterns to the inventories of,37Cs and SOC,and significant correlations were also found between the total N and^(137)Cs inventories in the SL,TL and GL Therefore,^(137)Cs can successfully be used for tracing soil,SOC and total N dynamics within slope landscapes in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau.Zhengan Su Lijuan Wang Yihan Liu Bin Fu Jjianhui Zhang Zuo Wu Tao Zhou Junjie Wang 2023International Soil and Water Conservation Research2023,11,1:1
6Preparation of Eco-Friendly High-Performance Manganese Dioxide Supercapacitors by Linear Sweep Voltammetry显示文摘In this paper,the non-polluting,non-toxic,and eco-friendly material-MnO_(2)electrodes were deposited on three-dimensional porous nickel(Ni)foam by linear sweep voltammetry,and the entire electrodeposition process did not require sintering of the material,which was fast and convenient while avoiding unnecessary energy consump-tion and thus was environmentally friendly.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy were used to examine the surface and microscopic characteristics of each sample(TEM).Chronoam-perometry(CA),cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic charge/discharge(GCD),and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)were then used to determine the electrochemical characteristics of the manufactured samples.The result suggests that the MnO_(2)-sv80 electrode sample at a scan rate of 80 mV/s^(−1)has excellent performance for the supercapacitor electrode.The specific capacitance was as high as 531.4 F g^(−1)at a current density of 1 A g^(−1)and remained at 223.2 F g^(−1)at an ultra-high current density of 20 A g^(−1),with capacitance retention of 42%.Junshan Zhao Yihan Shi Ming Zhang Liu Zhang Xumei Cui Xinghua Zhu Jitong Su Dandan Jing Dingyu Yang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1:0
7A Pore-Forming Strategy Toward Porous Carbon-Based Substrates for High Performance Flexible Lithium Metal Full Batteries显示文摘Self-standing carbon-based substrates with satisfied structural stability and property adjustability have promising applications in flexible lithium(Li)metal batteries(FLMBs).Current strategies for modifying carbon materials are normally carried out on powder carbon,and very few of them are suitable for self-standing carbon substrates.Herein,a pore-forming strategy based on the redox chemistry of metallic oxide nanodots is developed to prepare two porous carbon substrates for anode and cathode.Starting with cotton cloth,the resulting hollow carbon fibers substrate with nanopores effectively prevents from Li dendrites formation and large volume change in lithium metal anode(LMA).Simulations indicate that the porous structure leads to homogeneous ion flux,Li-ion concentration,and electric field during Li deposition.Li symmetrical cell based on this substrate remains stable for 8300 h with an ultralow voltage hysteresis of 9 mV.Via a similar route,porous carbon cloth substrate is obtained for subsequently seeding V_(2)O_(5)nanowires to prepare the cathode.The assembled FLMBs pouch cell delivers a capacity of 8.2 mAh with a high capacity retention of~100%even under dramatic deformation.The demonstrated strategy has far-reaching potential in preparing free-standing porous carbon-based materials for flexible energy storage devices.Yanfei Li Shuyang Ye Jian Lin Yihan Song Xinglong Wu Jingping Zhang Changlu Shao Zhongmin Su Haizhu Sun Dwight S.Seferos 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,3:0
8Effects of Nitrogen Forms on the Growth and Development of Trees显示文摘Nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen are the main nitrogen forms absorbed by trees from soil,and they have significantly different physiological regulation effects on trees;trees can also absorb some soluble organic nitrogen compounds,such as urea and amino acids.Trees supplied with single ammonium nitrogen or nitrate nitrogen will have higher photosynthesis,and the promotion effect of mixed nitrogen sources on tree photosynthesis is stronger.Enzymes play an important role in the metabolism of trees.The key enzymes of nitrogen metabolism include nitrate reductase,etc.,which affect the metabolism of trees through different responses of key enzymes to various nitrogen forms.The input of different nitrogen forms changes the content of mineral elements in trees and then affects the growth of trees.Different nitrogen forms have significant differences in the growth and metabolic processes of trees,which in turn have different physiological effects on plants.Several key issues in the future research on nitrogen nutrition and physiology of trees are discussed.Yihan SU Zhaoyi YE Xiaolin SHEN Weixin CHEN Chengxiang XU 2021Asian Agricultural Research2021,13,10:0
