1Review on monolayer CBN superabrasive wheels for grinding metallic materials显示文摘A state-of-the-art review on monolayer electroplated and brazed cubic boron nitride(CBN) superabrasive wheels for grinding metallic materials has been provided in this article. The fabrication techniques and mechanisms of the monolayer CBN wheels are discussed. Grain distribution, wheel dressing, wear behavior, and wheel performance are analyzed in detail. Sample applications of monolayer CBN wheel for grinding steels, titanium alloys, and nickel-based superalloys are also provided. 3Organic composition of gasoline and its potential effects on air pollution in North China显示文摘When gasoline is burned to power an automotive engine, a portion of the fuel remains unburned or is partially burned and leaves the engine as hydrocarbon and oxygenated compounds. In addition, a small portion of the fuel can escape the vehicle through evaporation. Changes in alkanes, olefins and aromatics each affect emissions differently, which could complicate control strategies for air pollution. In this study, we collected 31 gasoline samples over five provinces and cities(Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, and Shaanxi) in North China between 2012 and 2013. The organic composition of the gasoline samples was analyzed using the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) method, and the aniline compounds were analyzed by solvent extraction and the GC-MS method. The ratios of alkanes, aromatics, olefins and other organic compounds in gasoline were 40.6%, 38.1%, 12.9% and 8.4%, respectively. The aromatic and benzene exceedances were 15 and 8 based on the China's gasoline standards(III), and they accounted for 48.4% and 25.8% of all the gasoline samples, respectively. Strong carcinogen aniline compounds were detected in all 31 samples, and the content of aniline compounds in 3 samples exceeded 1%. The high proportion of aromatics and olefins in the gasoline increased the emissions of carbon monoxide(CO) and toxics, as well as the atmospheric photochemical reactivity of exhaust emissions, which could hasten the formation of secondary pollutants. 5A new integrated energy-saving scheme in green Fiber-Wireless(FiWi) access network显示文摘Energy savings in Internet have been regarded as a significant technical issue for academic and industrial community.Particularly,access network accounts for more than 70%of the total energy consumption of Internet.As a promising access technique,Fiber-Wireless(FiWi)network not only enables the cost-effective broadband access,but also provides more opportunities for energy savings.Previous works mostly focused on the energy savings in the optical back-end of FiWi.Generally,they extended the Optical Network Unit(ONU)sleep mechanisms initially designed for Passive Optical Network(PON)to FiWi by combining with the wireless rerouting.However,most of these works left the energy savings in the wireless front-end untouched.In fact,when one or more ONUs in the network is/are sleeping,many wireless components remain idle or underutilized which cause a lot of energy waste.Motivated by this,we propose a new integrated Wireless-Optical Energy Savings(WOES)scheme for the comprehensive energy savings in FiWi.The WOES scheme consists of two interactive modules,Energy-Efficient ONU Management(EEOM)and Energy-Aware Topology Configuration(EATC).EEOM aims at the energy savings in the optical back-end by putting the low-load ONUs into sleep state.A pair of thresholds is introduced into EEOM to maintain the states of ONUs.As soon as ONUs states change,EATC will reconfigure the wireless topology by putting the idle Radio Interfaces(RIs)into standby state,thus minimizing the energy consumption of the wireless front-end.Simulation results show that the WOES scheme can reduce the energy consumption significantly with just a little performance degradation in network throughput and end-to-end delay.LIU YeJun GUO Lei ZHANG LinCong YANG JiangZi 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,6:7
6An Overview of Terahertz Antennas显示文摘The terahertz(THz)antennas,which have features of small size,wide frequency bandwidth and high data rate,are important devices for transmitting and receiving THz electromagnetic waves in the emerging THz systems.However,most of THz antennas suffer from relatively high loss and low fabrication precision due to their small sizes in high frequency bands of THz waves.Therefore,this paper presents a detailed overview of the most recent research on the performance improvement of THz antennas.Firstly,the development of THz antennas is briefly reviewed and the basic design ideas of THz antennas are introduced.Then,THz antennas are categorized as metallic antennas,dielectric antennas and new material antennas.After that,the latest research progress in THz photoconductive antennas,THz horn antennas,THz lens antennas,THz microstrip antennas and THz on-chip antennas are discussed.In particular,the practical difficulties for the development of THz antennas are discussed with promising approaches.In addition,this paper also presents a short review of the process technology of THz antennas.Finally,the vital challenges and the future research directions for THz antennas are presented.Yejun He Yaling Chen Long Zhang Sai-Wai Wong Zhi Ning Chen 2020China Communications2020,17,7:6
7Multidisciplinary integrated design of long-range ballistic missile using PSO algorithm显示文摘In the case of the given design variables and constraint functions, this paper is concerned with the rapid overall parameters design of trajectory, propulsion and aerodynamics for long-range ballistic missiles based on the index of the minimum take-off mass.In contrast to the traditional subsystem independent design, this paper adopts the research idea of the combination of the subsystem independent design and the multisystem integration design.Firstly, the trajectory, propulsion and aerodynamics of the subsystem are separately designed by the engineering design, including the design of the minimum energy trajectory, the computation of propulsion system parameters, and the calculation of aerodynamic coefficient and dynamic derivative of the missile by employing the software of missile DATCOM. Then, the uniform design method is used to simplify the constraint conditions and the design variables through the integration design, and the accurate design of the optimized variables would be accomplished by adopting the uniform particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm. Finally, the automation design software is written for the three-stage solid ballistic missile. The take-off mass of 29 850 kg is derived by the subsystem independent design, and 20 constraints are reduced by employing the uniform design on the basis of 29 design variables and 32 constraints, and the take-off mass is dropped by 1 850 kg by applying the combination of the uniform design and PSO. 11Linear goal programming approach to obtaining the weights of intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator显示文摘The multiple attribute decision making problems are studied, in which the information about attribute weights is partly known and the attribute values take the form of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The operational laws of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are introduced, and the score function and accuracy function are presented to compare the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (IFOWA) operator which is an extension of the well-known ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator is investigated to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information. In order to determine the weights of intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator, a linear goal programming procedure is proposed for learning the weights from data. 14Residual stresses of polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits brazed with a high-frequency induction heating technique显示文摘Residual stresses produced in polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits during a high-frequency induction brazing process are calculated by using ?nite element analysis, with a consideration of the nonuniform temperature distribution in the induction brazing model. The in?uences of induction brazing parameters on the residual stresses of polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits have been analyzed, including the embedding depth, grit side length, etc. Results obtained show that the tensile stress with a 40% embedding depth is 292 MPa, which is the minimum on the bonding interface compared with other embedding depths. Meanwhile, the maximum tensile stress is 575 MPa, with an increase of 59% compared with that of a grit side length of 50 mm. 16Vibration coupling effects and machining behavior of ultrasonic vibration plate device for creep-feed grinding of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy显示文摘Ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding(UVAG)is an effective and promising method for machining of hard-to-cut materials.This article proposed an ultrasonic vibration plate device enabling the longitudinal full-wave and transverse half-wave(L2T1)vibration mode for UVAG.The characteristics of two-dimensional coupled vibration in different directions were analyzed on the basis of apparent elastic method and finite element method.Furthermore,a correction factor was applied to correct the frequency error caused by the apparent elastic method.Finally,the comparative experiments between the conventional creep-feed grinding and UVAG of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy were carried out.The results indicate that the apparent elastic method with the correction factor is accurate for the design of plate device under the L2T1 vibration mode.Compared with the conventional creep-feed grinding,the UVAG causes the reduction of grinding force and the improvement of machined surface quality of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy.Furthermore,under the current experimental conditions,the optimal ultrasonic vibration amplitude is determined as 6μm,with which the minimum surface roughness is achieved.Yang CAO Yejun ZHU Wenfeng DING Yutong QIU Lifeng WANG Jiuhua XU 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2:2
