| 1 | Spectral computed tomography in advanced gastric cancer: Can iodine concentration non-invasively assess angiogenesis?显示文摘AIM To investigate the correlation of iodine concentration(IC) generated by spectral computed tomography(CT) with micro-vessel density(MVD) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression in patients with advanced gastric carcinoma(GC).METHODS Thirty-four advanced GC patients underwent abdominal enhanced CT in the gemstone spectral imaging mode. The IC of the primary lesion in the arterial phase(AP) and venous phase(VP) were measured, and were then normalized against that in the aorta to provide the normalized IC(nI C). MVD and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemical assays, using CD34 and VEGF-A antibodies, respectively. Correlations of nI C with MVD, VEGF, and clinical-pathological features were analyzed.RESULTS Both nI Cs correlated linearly with MVD and were higher in the primary lesion site than in the normal control site, but were not correlated with VEGF expression. After stratification by clinical-pathological subtypes, nI C-AP showed a statistically significant correlation with MVD, particularly in the group with tumors at stage T4, without nodular involvement, of a mixed Lauren type, where the tumor was located at the antrum site, and occurred in female individuals. nI C-VP showed a positive correlation with MVD in the group with the tumor at stage T4 and above, had nodular involvement, was poorly differentiated, was located at the pylorus site, of a mixed and diffused Lauren subtype, and occurred in male individuals. nI C-AP and nI C-VP showed significant differences in terms of histological differentiation and Lauren subtype.CONCLUSION The IC detected by spectral CT correlated with the MVD. n IC-AP and n IC-VP can reflect angiogenesis in different pathological subgroups of advanced GC. | Xiao-Hua Chen Ke Ren Pan Liang Yaru Chai Kui-Sheng Chen Jian-Bo Gao | 2017 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,9: | 47 |
| 2 | Spatial and temporal variation of particulate matter and gaseous pollutants in 26 cities in China显示文摘O3and PM2.5were introduced into the newly revised air quality standard system in February 2012, representing a milestone in the history of air pollution control, and China's urban air quality will be evaluated using six factors(SO2, NO2, O3, CO, PM2.5and PM10) from the beginning of 2013. To achieve the new air quality standard, it is extremely important to have a primary understanding of the current pollution status in various cities. The spatial and temporal variations of the air pollutants were investigated in 26 pilot cities in China from August 2011 to February 2012, just before the new standard was executed. Hourly averaged SO2, NO2and PM10were observed in 26 cities, and the pollutants O3, CO and PM2.5were measured in 15 of the 26 cities. The concentrations of SO2and CO were much higher in the cities in north China than those in the south. As for O3and NO2, however, there was no significant diference between northern and southern cities. Fine particles were found to account for a large proportion of airborne particles, with the ratio of PM2.5to PM10ranging from 55% to 77%. The concentrations of PM2.5(57.5 μg/m3) and PM10(91.2 μg/m3) were much higher than the values(PM2.5: 11.2 μg/m3; PM10 : 35.6 μg/m3) recommended by the World Health Organization. | 3 | Chemical composition and source apportionment of PM10 and PM2.5 in different functional areas of Lanzhou,China显示文摘To elucidate the air pollution characteristics of northern China, airborne PM_10(atmospheric dynamic equivalent diameter ≤ 10 μm) and PM_(2.5)(atmospheric dynamic equivalent diameter ≤ 2.5 μm) were sampled in three different functional areas(Yuzhong County,Xigu District and Chengguan District) of Lanzhou, and their chemical composition(elements, ions, carbonaceous species) was analyzed. The results demonstrated that the highest seasonal mean concentrations of PM_10(369.48 μg/m^3) and PM_(2.5)(295.42 μg/m^3) were detected in Xigu District in the winter, the lowest concentration of PM_(2.5)(53.15 μg/m^3) was observed in Yuzhong District in the fall and PM_10(89.60 μg/m^3) in Xigu District in the fall.The overall average OC/EC(organic carbon/elemental carbon) value was close to the representative OC/EC ratio for coal consumption, implying that the pollution of Lanzhou could be attributed to the burning of coal. The content of SNA(the sum of sulfate, nitrate,ammonium, SNA) in PM_(2.5)in Yuzhong County was generally lower than that at other sites in all seasons. The content of SNA in PM_(2.5)and PM_10 in Yuzhong County was generally lower than that at other sites in all seasons(0.24–0.38), indicating that the conversion ratios from precursors to secondary aerosols in the low concentration area was slower than in the area with high and intense pollutants. | 5 | Efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture in treatment of lumbar disc herniation: a protocol for a cohort study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy of electroacupuncture(deep needling) and general orthopedics in treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH), and to evaluate its long-term efficacy.METHODS: This trial is a prospective cohort study.A total of 175 participants will be observed. The exposure group is obtained from department of acupuncture and moxibustion and the control group is from orthopedic department in hospital. Patients in exposed group will receive electroacupuncture in Dachangshu(BL 25), Guanyuanshu(BL 26), L4 Jiaji points(EX-B2 L4), L5 Jiaji points(EX-B2 L5) and S1 Jiaji points(EX-B2 S1) in the affected side once a day, 6 times as a treatment course for two courses(12 times). Patients in control group will receive orthopedic conventional therapy. In acute period,the treatment is mannitol injection(250 mL∶50 g) 200 mL, i.v., q.d.; 0.9% sodium chloride injection250 mL, vitamin C injection 2 g, Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection 10 mg, i.v., q.d.; sterile water for injection 2 mL, adenosine cobalt amine injection 1 mg, i.m., q.d., 12 d. In remission period,the treatment is Voltaren(Diclofenac diethyl lamine emulsion) external, q.d., 12 d. | 6 | A nowcasting model for the prediction of typhoon tracks based on a long short term memory neural network显示文摘It is of vital importance to reduce injuries and economic losses by accurate forecasts of typhoon tracks. A huge amount of typhoon observations have been accumulated by the meteorological department, however, they are yet to be adequately utilized. It is an effective method to employ machine learning to perform forecasts. A long short term memory(LSTM) neural network is trained based on the typhoon observations during 1949–2011 in China's Mainland, combined with big data and data mining technologies, and a forecast model based on machine learning for the prediction of typhoon tracks is developed. | 7 | 不同提取方法山苍子油的化学成分与抗氧化活性分析显示文摘【目的】比较不同提取方法对山苍子油提取效率与抗氧化活性的影响,通过GC-MS分析,研究山苍子油成分构成与抗氧化活性的内在关联,分析山苍子油抗氧化活性的主要物质基础。【方法】采用液液萃取(分别加以超声波与磁化辅助处理)、二氧化碳超临界萃取以及水蒸气蒸馏法提取山苍子油,DPPH法比较不同提取方式对山苍子油抗氧化活力的影响,GC-MS分析山苍子油的主要成分,并以1,4-二溴苯为内标,采用面积归化法解析主要成分的相对含量。【结果】山苍子油具有显著的抗氧化活性。液液萃取法的提取效率与山苍子油抗氧化活性最高,超声波辅助处理油得率最高,为26.3%,磁化辅助处理抗氧化活性最优,达到31.22 mg·mL^-1(IC50),二氧化碳超临界萃取法次之,抗氧化活性为56.95 mg·mL^-1(IC50),水蒸气蒸馏法抗氧化活性最弱,为64.95 mg·mL^-1(IC50);GC-MS分析检测出122种以上的化合物,包括12种脂肪酸,16种萜烯,18种含氧萜烯以及其他微量化合物包括烯烃、醇、酮类与烷烃等。GC-MS分析结果表明:山苍子干果主要成分为饱和脂肪酸(月桂酸等)、不饱和脂肪酸(9,12-十八碳二烯酸、9-十八碳烯酸等)以及α蒎烯、β蒎烯、柠檬烯等萜烯、氧化萜烯类物质。液液萃取法得到的山苍子油脂肪酸含量(53.51%-66.61%)明显高于二氧化碳超临界萃取(17.64%)与水蒸气蒸馏法(8.1%),而二氧化碳超临界萃取与水蒸气蒸馏法得到的萜烯、氧化萜烯类含量分别达到29.37%和17.69%,明显高于液液萃取法(6.49%-9.75%)。【结论】磁化辅助处理有利于抗氧化活性物质的提取,且不饱和脂肪酸的含量最高;超声波辅助处理可以提升油的得率;水蒸气蒸馏法和超临界流体萃取法更有利于萜烯类化合物的获取;联系到水蒸气蒸馏法得到的山苍子油富含萜烯化合物却显示较低的抗氧化活性(64.95 mg·mL^-1),色谱级的柠檬醛抗氧化活性最低(74.33 mg·mL^-1),因此推测脂肪酸成分(特别是不饱和脂肪酸)是山苍子油抗氧化活性的主要物质基础。 | 李芳 Yaru Song Howard Holness Kevin O’Shea | 2015 | 林业科学2015,51,3: | 14 |
| 8 | One-dimensional dynamic compressive behavior of dry calcareous sand at high strain rates显示文摘Calcareous sand has distinct characteristics in comparison with silica sand, such as dynamic behavior at high strain rates(HSRs). This is closely related to pile driving, aircraft wheel loading and mining activities. To understand the response of calcareous sand at HSRs, a series of dynamic tests is performed using the split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB) with steel sleeve, including 6 validation tests of bar-against-bar and 16 comparative tests relevant to the relative density and strain rate of calcareous and silica sands.The apparent dynamic stiffness of calcareous sand is approximately 10% of that for silica sand due to different particle shapes and mineral compositions. The axial stress-strain response of silica sand is mainly governed by the deformation of individual grain and soil skeleton, and particle crushing. However, porous calcareous sand shows yielding and strain-hardening responses that are always followed by particle crushing. As the applied loading increases, the particle crushing of calcareous sand develops from local instability to whole breakage. | 11 | An Ethylene-inhibited NF-YC Transcription Factor RhNF-YC9 Regulates Petal Expansion in Rose显示文摘The speed of flower opening is closely related to their ornamental period.Ethylene functions as a negative regulator involved in the regulation of the petal expansion process.In this study,we isolated a NF-YC transcription factor gene,RhNF-YC9,fromrose petals.RhNF-YC9 expression was induced at the early stages of flower opening but was inhibited by ethylene treatment.Silencing RhNF-YC9 decreased the speed of petal expansion from stage 2 to stage 5.The expressions of 11 cell expansion-related genes involved in cell wall loosening,cell turgor modulation,and cytoskeleton remodeling were significantly down-regulated in RhNF-YC9-silenced petals.We also found that silencing RhNF-YC9 decreased the expression of gibberellin acid(GA)biosynthetic gene RhGA20ox while significantly increasing the transcripts of GA catabolic gene RhGA2ox,reducing the accumulation of GA4 and GA7.The influence of ethylene treatment on the expression of RhGA20ox and RhGA2ox showed the same trend.These results together suggested that RhNF-YC9 positively regulated the speed of petal expansion and mediated the crosstalk between ethylene and GA.Our findings revealed a new insight into the function of NF-YC transcription factors involved in ethylene-regulated petal expansion. | Changxi Chen Nisar Hussain Yaru Wang Mingtong Li Lin Liu Meizhu Qin Nan Ma Junping Gao Xiaoming Sun | 2020 | Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,6: | 9 |
| 12 | A fast registration algorithm of rock point cloud based on spherical projection and feature extraction显示文摘Point cloud registration is an essential step in the process of 3D reconstruction.In this paper,a fast registration algorithm of rock mass point cloud is proposed based on the improved iterative closest point (ICP)algorithm.In our proposed algorithm,the point cloud data of single station scanner is transformed into digital images by spherical polar coordinates,then image features are extracted and edge points are removed,the features used in this algorithm is scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT).By analyzing the corresponding relationship between digital images and 3D points,the 3D feature points are extracted,from which we can search for the two-way correspondence as candidates. | 13 | Design,methodology,and baseline of whole city‑million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS)in Wenzhou,China显示文摘Background:Myopia is the most common visual impairment in children and adolescents worldwide.This study described an economical and effective population-based screening pipeline and performed the project of a million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS),which will shed light on the further study of myopia from the level of epidemiology and precision medicine.Methods:We developed a novel population-based screening pattern,an intelligent screening process and internetbased information transmission and analysis system to carry out the survey consisting of school children in Wenzhou,China.The examination items include unaided distance visual acuity,presenting distance visual acuity,and noncycloplegic autorefraction.Myopia and high myopia were defined as spherical equivalent(SE)≤−1.00 diopters(D)and SE≤−6.00 D,respectively.Next,the reports of the vision checking were automatically sent to parents and the related departments.The CAMS project will be done two to four times annually with the support of the government.An online eyesight status information management system(OESIMS)was developed to construct comprehensive and efficient electronic vision health records(EVHRs)for myopia information inquiry,risk pre-warning,and further study.Results:The CAMS completed the first-round of screening within 30 days for 99.41%of Wenzhou students from districts and counties,in June 2019.A total of 1,060,925 participants were eligible for CAMS and 1,054,251(99.37%participation rate)were selected through data quality control,which comprised 1305 schools,and 580,609,251,050 and 170,967 elementary,middle,and high school students.The mean age of participants was 12.21±3.32 years(6-20 years),the female-to-male ratio was 0.82.The prevalence of myopia in elementary,middle,and high school students was 38.16%,77.52%,and 84.00%,respectively,and the high myopia incidence was 0.95%,6.90%,and 12.98%.Conclusions:The CAMS standardized myopia screening model involves automating large-scale information collection,data transmission,data analysis and early warning,thereby supporting myopia prevention and control.The entire survey reduced 90%of staff,cost,and time consumption compared with previous surveys.This will provide new insights for decision support for public health intervention. | Liangde Xu Youyuan Zhuang Guosi Zhang Yunlong Ma Jian Yuan Changseng Tu MiaoMiao Li Wencan Wang Yaru Zhang Xiaoyan Lu Jing Li Xinting Liu Zhengbo Xue Meng Zhou Jie Sun Jinhua Bao Ming Li Fan Lu Hong Wang Jianzhong Su Jia Qu | 2021 | Eye and Vision2021,8,1: | 7 |

The optimal pH value and temperature of XYNB for its ac-tivity are 5.2 and 60℃, respectively. The specific activity of XYNB is as high as 2869.78 U/mg. Metal cations, EDTA and SDS have no effects on enzyme activity of XYNB. The gene xynB coding mature protein of XYNB has been cloned by PCR. The forward oligonucleotide primer used in the PCR reaction was synthesized based on the N-terminal amino acid sequence of XYNB mature protein, and the reverse oligonu-cleotide primers are random oligonucleotide. The cloned gene xynB is 576 bp long and its G+C content is 64.3%. The xynB encodes 191 amino acid residues, and the putative mo-lecular weight of XYNB is 20.839 kD. | 17 | Physical processes causing the formation of hypoxia off the Changjiang estuary after Typhoon Chan-hom, 2015显示文摘Severe hypoxia was observed in the submarine canyon to the east of the Changjiang estuary in July 14, 2015, two days after typhoon Chan-hom. The oxygen concentration reached as low as 2.0 mg/L and occupied a water column of about 25 m. A ROMS model was con?gured to explore the underlying physical processes causing the formation of hypoxia. Chan-hom passed through the Changjiang estuary during the neap tide. The strati?cation was completely destroyed in the shallow nearshore region when typhoon passing. However, it was maintained in the deep canyon, though the surface mixed layer was largely deepened. The residual water in the deep canyon is considered to be the possible source of the later hypoxia. After Chan-hom departure, not only the low salinity plume water spread further of fshore, but also the sea surface temperature(SST) rewarmed quickly. Both changes helped strengthen the strati?cation and facilitate the formation of hypoxia. It was found that the surface heat ?ux, especially the solar short wave radiation dominated the surface re-warming, the of fshore advection of the warmer Changjiang Diluted Water(CDW) also played a role. | 18 | Microstructure and properties of novel Al-Ce-Sc,Al-Ce-Y,Al-Ce-Zr and Al-Ce-Sc-Y alloy conductors processed by die casting,hot extrusion and cold drawing显示文摘In order to overcome the trade-off between the strength and electrical conductivity of aluminum alloy conductors,the new Al-Ce-Sc,Al-Ce-Y,Al-Ce-Zr and Al-Ce-Sc-Y alloys were prepared by die casting,high temperature homogenization treatment,hot extrusion and cold drawing.Adding Sc and Y eliminated the dendrite segregation of the as-cast Al-0.2 Ce alloy and promoted the formation of equiaxed grains with the average grain size of 142.5μm.The Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy inherited the great tensile properties of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy and the high electrical conductivity of Al-0.2 Ce-0.1 Y alloy simultaneously.After cold drawing and annealing at 200℃for 5 h,the ultimate tensile strength of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy reached 200 MPa and 198 MPa,the elongation reached 6.8%and 8.5%,and the electrical conductivity reached 61.01%and 61.77%,respectively.The main second phase of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy after hot extrusion were Al_(13)Fe_3 Ce containing a few Y and Si atoms.The larger size and proportion of the second phase greatly reduced the concentration of solute Fe and Si atoms and the addition of Y significantly decreased the density of defects after cold drawing compared to Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy,which improved electrical conductivity of the alloy.Furthermore,the dispersed and coherent nano-size Al_3 Sc precipitions of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy greatly improved strength,elongation and heat resistance.Compared with Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy,the lower density of dislocation,stacking fault and subgrain boundary and the larger size of Al_3 Sc precipitions with enrichment of Y atoms enable the Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy to maintain high strength,elongation and electrical conductivity after annealing. | Weiyi Wang Qinglin Pan Geng Lin Xiaoping Wang Yuqiao Sun Xiangdong Wang Ji Ye Yuanwei Sun Yi Yu Fuqing Jiang Jun Li Yaru Liu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23: | 4 |
| 19 | A CuNi/C Nanosheet Array Based on a Metal–Organic Framework Derivate as a Supersensitive Non-Enzymatic Glucose Sensor显示文摘Bimetal catalysts are good alternatives for nonenzymatic glucose sensors owing to their low cost, high activity, good conductivity, and ease of fabrication. In the present study, a self-supported CuNi/C electrode prepared by electrodepositing Cu nanoparticles on a Ni-based metal–organic framework(MOF) derivate was used as a non-enzymatic glucose sensor. The porous construction and carbon scaffold inherited from the Ni-MOF guarantee good kinetics of the electrode process in electrochemical glucose detection. Furthermore, Cu nanoparticles disturb the array structure of MOF derived films and evidently enhance their electrochemical performances in glucose detection. Electrochemical measurements indicate that the CuNi/C electrode possesses a high sensitivity of17.12 mA mM^(-1) cm^(-2), a low detection limit of 66.67 nM,and a wider linearity range from 0.20 to 2.72 mM. Additionally, the electrode exhibits good reusability, reproducibility, and stability, thereby catering to the practical use of glucose sensors.
