Determining method and conditional factors of electrochemical fingerprint of Chinese traditional medicine显示文摘The thermodynamic systems and kinetic model suitable for the electrochemical token of the compo-nent throng in Chinese traditional medicines have been analyzed. It has been indicated that the damp oscillatory reactions in the non-equilibrium close system and open system without the supplement of dissipative substance have important significance for the throng token and analysis of chemical com-ponents in Chinese traditional medicines. Various factors influencing the electrochemical fingerprint, such as reactant species and their concentrations, electrode types, temperature, stir rate, the kind, dosage and granularity of Chinese traditional medicines, have amply been researched by the B-Z os-cillatory reaction which used malonic acid as a main dissipative substance. In addition, the quantitative information about the chemical components in Chinese traditional medicines has been discussed in detail. The method and its conditions for determining the electrochemical fingerprint used in scientifi-cally distinguishing and evaluating Chinese traditional medicines have successfully been put forward.ZHANG TaiMingt LIANG YiZeng YUAN Bin DING Feng ZHANG YaPeng WEI ManQiong CHEN Xu 2007Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,16:22
Principle, traits and functions of electrochemical fingerprint of Chinese traditional medicine显示文摘In regard to such challenging analysis problems as scientific identification and quality evaluation of Chinese traditional medicine, the electrochemical fingerprint technique of Chinese traditional medi- cine has been researched. The principle, traits, functions, etc., of the electrochemical fingerprint have detailedly been analyzed and discussed by the B-Z oscillatory system using malonic acid as main dissipation substance, characterized by the fact that different influences of different Chinese traditional medicines on the mechanism of the oscillatory reaction cause different changes of the shape of the potential-time curve of the oscillatory system under the conditions of constant tem- perature and pressure. An economical, simple and convenient, easy pushing and effective scientific method for distinguishing and evaluating multifarious Chinese traditional medicines has success- fully been put forward.ZHANG TaiMing LIANG YiZeng YUAN Bin DING Feng ZHANG YaPeng CHEN WenYan 2007Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,20:16
Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders:executive summary and 2019 update of the management of high-risk population显示文摘Aim Cerebrovascular disease is the leading cause of death and disability in China, causing a huge burden among patients and their families.Hence, stroke prevention is critical, especially in the high-risk population. Here,we present the evidence-based guideline suitable for the Chinese population. Methods Literature search of PubMed and Cochrane library(from January 1964 to June 2019)was done. After thorough discussion among the writing group members, recommendations were listed and summarised. This guideline was reviewed and discussed by the fellow writing committees of the Chinese Stroke Association’s Stroke. Results This evidence-based guideline was written in three parts:controlling the risk factors of stroke, utilisation of antiplatelet agents and assessing the risks of first-ever stroke. All recommendations were listed along with the recommending classes and levels of evidence. Conclusions This guideline provides recommendations for primary prevention of cerebrovascular disease among high-risk population in China.Controlling related risk factors, appropriately using antiplatelet agents, assessing the risk of developing first-ever stroke should help reduce the rate of cerebrovascular disease in China.Yilong Wang Shangrong Han Haiqiang Qin Huaguang Zheng Bin Jiang Yong Cao Yuan Gao Ling Guan Qian Jia Yong Jiang Yuming Jiao Shuya Li Yapeng Li Zixiao Li Wei Liu Xiaojuan Ru Dongling Sun Haixin Sun Penglian Wang Tingting Wang Lixia Zong Lei Guo Xuewei Xie Yuming Xu Yuyuan Xu Xiaomeng Yang Yingying Yang Mengyuan Zhou Wenzhi Wang Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council Guideline Writing Committee 2020Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,3:11
Spreading kinetics of a Sn-30Bi-0.5Cu alloy on a Cu substrate显示文摘The reactive wetting kinetics of a Sn-30Bi-0.5Cu Pb-free solder alloy on a Cu substrate was investigated by the sessile drop method from 493 to 623 K.The triple line frontier, characterized by the drop base radius R was recorded dynamically with a high resolution CCD using different spreading processes in an Ar-H 2 flow.We found a good agreement with the De Gennes model for the relationship between ln(dR/dt) and lnR for the spreading processes at 493 and 523 K.However,a significant deviation from the De Gennes model was found for the spreading processes at 548 and 623 K.Our experimental results show a complicated temperature effect on the spreading kinetics.Intermetallics at the Sn-30Bi-0.5Cu/Cu interface were identified as Cu 6 Sn 5 adjacent to the solder and Cu 3 Sn adjacent to the Cu substrate. The intermetallic compounds effectively enhanced the triple line mobility because of reaction product formation at the diffusion frontier.ZANG LiKun YUAN ZhangFu ZHAN YaPeng WANG ChenYu XU BingSheng 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,6:1
Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme(ACE)Inhibitors May Moderate COVID-19 Hyperinflammatory Response:An Observational Study with Deep Immunophenotyping显示文摘Background:Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEi)and angiotensin-II receptor blockers(ARB),the most commonly prescribed antihypertensive medications, counter renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system(RAAS)activation via induction of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)expression.Considering that ACE2 is the functional receptor for SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells, the association of ACEi and ARB with COVID-19 outcomes needs thorough evaluation. Methods:We conducted retrospective analyses using both unmatched and propensity score(PS)-matched cohorts on electronic health records(EHRs)to assess the impact of RAAS inhibitors on the risk of receiving invasive mechanical ventilation(IMV)and 30-day mortality among hospitalized COVID-19 patients.Additionally,we investigated the immune cell gene expression profiles of hospitalized COVID-19 patients with prior use of antihypertensive treatments from an observational prospective cohort. Results:The retrospective analysis revealed that there was no increased risk associated with either ACEi or ARB use.In fact, the use of ACEi showed decreased risk for mortality.Survival analyses using PS-matched cohorts suggested no significant relationship between RAAS inhibitors with a hospital stay and in-hospital mortality compared to non-RAAS medications and patients not on antihypertensive medications. From the analysis of gene expression profiles,we observed a noticeable up-regulation in the expression of 1L1R2(an anti-inflammatory receptor)and RETN(an immunosuppressive marker)genes in monocytes among prior users of ACE inhibitors. Conclusion:Overall, the findings do not support the discontinuation of ACEi or ARB treatment and suggest that ACEi may moderate the COVID-19 hyperinflammatory response.Venkata R.Duvvuri Andrew Baumgartner Sevda Molani Patricia V.Hernandez Dan Yuan Ryan T.Roper Wanessa F.Matos Max Robinson Yapeng Su Naeha Subramanian Jason D.Goldman James R.Heath Jennifer J.Hadlock 2022Health Data Science2022,,1:1
Assessment of the electrical penetration of cell membranes using four-frequency impedance cytometry显示文摘The electrical penetration of the cell membrane is vital for determining the cell interior via impedance cytometry.Herein,we propose a method for determining the conductivity of the cell membrane through the tilting levels of impedance puises. When electrical penetration occurs,a high-frequency current freely passes through the cell membrane;thus, the intracellular distribution can directly act on the high-frequency impedance pulses.Numerical simulation shows that an uneven intracellular component distribution can affect the tilting levels of impedance pulses, and the tilting levels start increasing when the cell membrane is electrically penetrated.Experimental evidence shows that higher detection frequencies(>7 MHz)lead to a wider distribution of the tilting levels of impedance pulses when measuring cell populations with four-frequency impedance cytometry. This finding allows us to determine that a detection frequency of 7 MHz is able to pass through the membrane of Euglena gracilis(E.gracilis)cells.Additionally,we provide a possible application of four-frequency impedance cytometry in the biomass monitoring of single E.grailis cells.High-frequency impedance(≥7 MHz)can be applied to monitor these biomass changes, and low-frequency impedance(<7 MHz)can be applied to track the corresponding biovolume changes.Overall, this work demonstrates an easy determination method for the electrical penetration of the cell membrane, and the proposed platform is applicable for the multiparameter assessment of the cell state during cultivation.Tao Tang Xun Liu Yapeng Yuan Tianlong Zhang Ryota Krya Yang Yang Kengo Suzuki Yo Tanaka Ming Li Yoichiroh Hosokawa Yaxiaer Yalikun 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,3:0
