| 1 | Gaseous Loss of Nitrogen from Fertilizers Applied to Wheat on a Calcareous Soil in North China Plain显示文摘Nitrogen (N) losses from ammonium bicarbonate or urea applied to wheat and then followed immediately by irrigation were investigated. Ammonia volatilization was determined by a micrometeorological method (ammonia sampler), total N loss was estimated by the 15N mass balance method, and denitrification loss was measured by the difference method (calculated from the difference between the total N loss and ammonia loss)and a direct method (measuring the emission of (N2+N2O)-15N ). Total ammonia losses from ammonium bicarbonate and urea in 33 days were 8.7% and 0.9% of the applied nitrogen, respectively. The corresponding total N losses were 21.6% and 29.5%. Apparent denitrification losses (by the difference method) were rather high, being 12.9% from ammonium bicarbonate and 28.6% from urea. | 2 | Dynamics of Saline-alkali Land and Its Ecological Regionalization in Western Songnen Plain, China显示文摘As the important reserve land resources for food production,saline-alkali land should play a significant role to ensure the national food security in the context of global food crisis. The western Songnen Plain is one of main distribution regions of saline-alkali land in China,with great potential in agricultural development. In this study,the extent,transformation,spatial distribution and temporal change of saline-alkali land in the western Songnen Plain during 1954–2005 were investigated by using remote sensing and GIS spatial analysis methods. Saline-alkali land change was detected from a temporal series of topographic maps in 1954,satellite images of Landsat MSS in 1976,Landsat TM/ETM in 1988,2000 and 2005 through artificial visual interpretation. The results indicated a significant expansion in saline-alkali land area and aggravation in salinization. The area of saline-alkali land had increased from 401.48×103 ha in 1954 to 1 097.45×103 ha in 2005. While the ratio of light,moderate and serious salinized land areas changed from 6.72︰2.92︰1.00 to 1.25︰1.06︰1.00 in the study period. Grassland,cropland,swampland and water body were the major land use and land cover types from which saline-alkali land transformed. And the secondary salinization occured mainly in Da′an City,Tongyu County,Changling County,Daqing City,Dorbod Mongolian Autonomous County and Zhaoyuan County. Finally,seven large ecoregions and 14 corresponding sub-ecoregions were delineated out based on spatio-temopral dynamic characteristics of saline-alkali land and geo-relational environmental attributes. | 4 | Estimationof genetic parameters for juvenile growth performance traits in oliveflounder(Paralichthys olivaceus)显示文摘The aim of this study was to evaluate genetic parameters of growth traits for improving selective breeding in olive flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).A total of 82 full-sib families from 2 year-classes with complete pedigree information were used to estimate heritabilities and genetic/phenotypic correlations for 4 growth performance traits(body weight BW,total length TL,body height BH and condition factor K)based on uni-trait and multi-trait linear mixed models,respectively.Data were analyzed by the restricted maximum likelihood(REML)method.The heritabilities of BW,TL and BH were 0.81,0.70 and 0.61,which are relatively high,however,heritability for K is low(0.11).For all growth traits,the common full-sib effects(c^(2))were at a low to moderate level(0.14–0.20);the maternal effects(m^(2))of the traits(except K)were also detected(0.15–0.19).The phenotypic and genetic correlations among BW,TL and BH were highly positive(0.70–0.91),however,the correlations between K and the other 3 traits was low or negligible(−0.22–0.26).According to our results,these traits(except K)could be selected and enhanced simultaneously.In addition,direct selection based on TL or BH,which is an easily measurable trait,will be more favorable than selection on BW.Moreover,our results indicated that growth parameters estimated in the juvenile stage could be used as a predictor of growth performance at later growth stages. | Yangzhen Li Bo Zhang Yingming Yang Songlin Chen | 2019 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2019,4,2: | 3 |

| 6 | Modified Distributed Medium Access Control Algorithm Based on Multi-Packets Reception in Ad Hoc Networks显示文摘Based on the Multi-Packet Reception(MPR) capability at the physical layer and the Distributed Coordination Function(DCF)of the IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol, we propose a modified new solution about WAITING mechanism to make full use of the MPR capability in this paper, which is named as modified distributed medium access control algorithm. We describe the details of each step of the algorithm after introducing the WAITING mechanism. Then, we also analyze how the waiting-time affects the throughput performance of the network. The network simulator NS-2 is used to evaluate the throughput performance of the new WAITING algorithm and we compare it with IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol and the old WAITING algorithm. | 15 | 某综合医院SARS暴发与控制显示文摘Objective:To investigate the SARS epidemic and the control effectiveness in a general hospital. Methods:Clinical and suspected cases of SARS were queried in the hospital, the emerging of the disease was described and the effectiveness of control measures were analyzed according to the rules and protective materials used during the epidemic. Results:The outbreak started with a patient from Beijing on 15 April. The disease spread quickly among the healthcare workers and the cohabit patients in the hospital which the first cases were admitted. By 17 May, 112 probable (clinical cases) and suspected cases had been reported with 14 deaths. 89 cases in the hospital were surely sourced from the index SARS patient whose admission for the sake of coronary heart disease caused the SARS outbreak. With the stringent control measures and the endeavors of the hospital staff, the epidemic was controlled successfully in a short period. From May 17 to now, no new cases occurred. Two kinds of features of Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) coefficients of voiced speech signals are discussed in this paper. The first one is the block sparsity of DCT coefficients of voiced speech formulated from two different aspects which are the distribution of the DCT coefficients of voiced speech and the comparison of reconstruction performance between the mixed program and Basis Pursuit (BP). The block sparsity of DCT coefficients of voiced speech means that some algorithms of block-sparse CS can be used to improve the recovery performance of speech signals. It is proved by the simulation results of the mixed program which is an improved version of the mixed program. The second one is the well known large DCT coefficients of voiced speech focus on low frequency. In line with this feature, a special Gaussian and Partial Identity Joint (GPIJ) matrix is constructed as the sensing matrix for voiced speech signals. | 19 | Effects of dietary supplementation of Lactobacillus plantarum and Bacillus subtilis on growth performance,survival,immune response,antioxidant capacity and digestive enzyme activity in olive flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus)显示文摘In present study,a 10-month feeding trial was carried out to investigate effects of dietary Lactobacillus plantarum and Bacillus subtilis supplementation singly on growth performance,innate immune response,antioxidant capacity and digestive enzyme activity of olive flounder under a commercial production environment.Two experimental groups fed basal diet with supplementation of L.plantarum(5.0×107 CFU/g diet)and B.subtilis(1.0×108 CFU/g diet)respectively,and control group fed with basal diet without probiotics supplement.At harvest,serum immune parameters,liver antioxidant indices and digestive enzyme activities in liver,stomach and intestines were measured.Fish fed with B.subtilis supplemented diet showed the highest growth rate which was significantly higher than L.plantarum supplemented group(P<0.05)which was also significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Survival rate were significantly elevated by feeding diet with L.plantarum supplementation(P<0.05),while the improvement was not significant for B.subtilis supplemented diet compared to control group.All the studied immune parameters in serum were substantially enhanced in both experimental groups.Similar results were observed for the antioxidant capacity in liver.Besides,the activities of digestive enzymes increased substantially in both experimental groups compared to control group and the detected improvement in dietary B.subtilis supplemented group were all higher than in L.plantarum supplemented group,though not all the improvements were significant.In summary,the separate supplementation of B.subtilis and L.plantarum in diet is more beneficial for growth performance and healthy status respectively.Hence,in olive flounder aquaculture,favorable effects of compounded supplementation of L.plantarum and B.subtilis are expected. | Yangzhen Li Yingming Yang Limin Song Jialin Wang Yuanri Hu Qian Yang Peng Cheng Jianhai Li | 2021 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,3: | 1 |

Compared with the conventional cepstrum, PFD is relatively insensitive to Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN), but it does not show good performance for speaker identification, even if under clean environments.
