1The Sunway TaihuLight supercomputer: system and applications显示文摘The Sunway Taihu Light supercomputer is the world's first system with a peak performance greater than 100 PFlops. In this paper, we provide a detailed introduction to the Taihu Light system. In contrast with other existing heterogeneous supercomputers, which include both CPU processors and PCIe-connected many-core accelerators(NVIDIA GPU or Intel Xeon Phi), the computing power of Taihu Light is provided by a homegrown many-core SW26010 CPU that includes both the management processing elements(MPEs)and computing processing elements(CPEs) in one chip. With 260 processing elements in one CPU, a single SW26010 provides a peak performance of over three TFlops. To alleviate the memory bandwidth bottleneck in most applications, each CPE comes with a scratch pad memory, which serves as a user-controlled cache. To support the parallelization of programs on the new many-core architecture, in addition to the basic C/C++and Fortran compilers, the system provides a customized Sunway Open ACC tool that supports the Open ACC2.0 syntax. 2An insight into the removal of fluoroquinolones in activated sludge process:Sorption and biodegradation characteristics显示文摘The detailed sorption steps and biodegradation characteristics of fluoroquinolones(FQs)including ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, lomefloxacin, norfloxacin, and ofloxacin were investigated through batch experiments. The results indicate that FQs at a total concentration of 500 μg/L caused little inhibition of sludge bioactivity. Sorption was the primary removal pathway of FQs in the activated sludge process, followed by biodegradation, while hydrolysis and volatilization were negligible. FQ sorption on activated sludge was a reversible process governed by surface reaction. Henry and Freundlich models could describe the FQ sorption isotherms well in the concentration range of 100–300 μg/L. Thermodynamic parameters revealed that FQ sorption on activated sludge is spontaneous, exothermic, and enthalpy-driven. Hydrophobicity-independent mechanisms determined the FQ sorption affinity with activated sludge. The zwitterion of FQs had the strongest sorption affinity, followed by cation and anion, and aerobic condition facilitated FQ sorption. FQs were slowly biodegradable, with long half-lives(> 100 hr). FQ biodegradation was enhanced with increasing temperature and under aerobic condition,and thus was possibly achieved through co-metabolism during nitrification. 4Performance of 3D TPN against true-arbitrarily maneuvering target for exoatmospheric interception显示文摘True proportional navigation(TPN) guidance law is widely used for exoatmospheric interception, for its robustness and ease of implementation. The performance of TPN against nonmaneuvering target or the maneuvering target with a specific acceleration had been analyzed before. However, the obtained results are not suitable for the realistic exoatmospheric interception scenario,since the target may maneuver along an arbitrary direction with an arbitrary but upper-bounded acceleration in the threedimensional(3 D) space, which is the so-called 'true-arbitrarily maneuvering target' in this paper. With the help of the line-ofsight(LOS) rotation coordinate system, the performance of 3 D TPN against the true-arbitrarily maneuvering target is thoroughly analyzed using the Lyapunov-like approach. The upper-bound of the 3 D LOS rate is obtained, and so is that of the commanded acceleration of 3 D TPN. After that, the capture region of 3 D TPN is presented on the initial relative velocity plane. The nonlinear3 D relative kinematics between the interceptor and the target is taken into full account. 5Prediction of the Residual Welding Stress in 2.25Cr-1Mo Steel by Taking into Account the Effect of the Solid-State Phase Transformations显示文摘A computational approach based on the thermal elastic plastic finite element method was developed for predicting welding residual stress in low carbon alloyed steel welds by taking into account the effect of the solid-state phase transformations. The kinetics of phase transformations was described by Johnson Mehl Avrami Kolmogrov (JMAK) equation for bainitic transition and by Koistinen-Marburger (K-M) relationship for martensitic transition. Moreover, an additive rule depending on volumetric phase fraction was adopted to represent the material property changes during heating and cooling. Consequently, the residual welding stresses in a 2.25Cr1Mo steel TIG welded plate were computed. 6Cultural Landscape Evolution of Traditional Agricultural Villages in North China——Case of Qianzhai Village in Shandong Province显示文摘Agricultural village is an important rural type in China. The evolution process and mechanism of its cultural landscape are different from those of the industrialized village. The paper focuses this theme by a case study of Qianzhai Village of Qufu City, Shangdong Province. In the case of Qianzhai Village, the evolution of its settlement has experienced three stages: mechanical expansion, sprawling expansion and hollowing, and recentralization. The land- scape evolution of residents' houses has undergone three phases: traditional quadrangle house, one-storied house and multistoried house. The evolution of its land use has experienced three stages: circled stratification, fragment and intensive use, and concentration and extensive use. We can see that the main driving factors of cultural landscape evolu- tion of agricultural village are the changes of rural population, society, economy and culture, which are influenced by the change of urban-rural relation, the national modernization process and economic development, the reform of family planning and land system, and the changes in governmental policies. In the future, the modernization, ecological trend, and individualization for residents' houses of agricultural villages in China will develop step by step. 7The Evolution and Differentiation of Economic Convergence of Resource-based Cities in Northeast China显示文摘A key target of the overall strategy implementation for regional development since the 18th Party Congress of China has involved taking measures to narrow regional disparities. This is because resource-based cities' economic development has fallen below general levels due to resource exhaustion and an unbalanced industrial structure, among other factors. Further, an economic gap has long existed between Northeast China's large number of resource-based cities and non-resource-based cities. This article comprehensively studies the economic convergence of Northeast China's resource-based cities and non-resource-based cities from 1996 to 2015 by using a dynamic panel to analyze not only the economic development of different industries and types of cities, but also the main factors that influence economic development. The empirical results demonstrate that economic convergence exists in both resource-based and non-resource-based cities, but the economic gap between them has clearly narrowed since the implementation of a strategy to revitalize the Northeast's old industrial base. Shrinking cities are the fastest to converge, as mature cities are slower and regenerating cities are the slowest; regarding industry structure, the secondary industry dominates the economy in mature and shrinking cities, and the tertiary industry in regenerating cities. The primary stimulus in resource-based cities' economic development involves upgrading the industrial structure and investing in human capital. 8Role of Microphysical Parameterizations with Droplet Relative Dispersion in IAP AGCM 4.1显示文摘Previous studies have shown that accurate descriptions of the cloud droplet effective radius(Re) and the autoconversion process of cloud droplets to raindrops(Ar) can effectively improve simulated clouds and surface precipitation, and reduce the uncertainty of aerosol indirect effects in GCMs. In this paper, we implement cloud microphysical schemes including two-moment Ar and Re considering relative dispersion of the cloud droplet size distribution into version 4.1 of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics' s atmospheric GCM(IAP AGCM 4.1), which is the atmospheric component of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Earth System Model. Analysis of the effects of different schemes shows that the newly implemented schemes can improve both the simulated shortwave and longwave cloud radiative forcings, as compared to the standard scheme, in IAP AGCM 4.1. The new schemes also effectively enhance the large-scale precipitation, especially over low latitudes, although the influences of total precipitation are insignificant for different schemes. 9Design and Optimization of Tandem Arranged Cascade in a Transonic Compressor显示文摘This study proposed a design and optimization strategy for a tandem arranged cascade using the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm(NSGA) Ⅱ multi-objective optimization algorithm and Back Propagation(BP) neural network technology. The NASA Stage 35 was employed as the initial bench mark in the present study and five geometric control parameters were working as the optimization parameters aiming to enhance the aerodynamic performance in terms of total pressure rise and efficiency. Results showed that the feasibility and capability of the proposed optimization strategy was successfully examined. In view of the fact that the initial tandem cascade(directly scaling down from NASA Stage 35) cannot guarantee the aerodynamic performance, first optimization trial was conducted to optimize the initial design. Results showed that the optimum can improve the flow quality whereas the separation on the blade is decayed or even eliminated particularly at the tip and root regions. However, compared with the initial tandem design, the enhancement in total pressure ratio(0.47%) and efficiency(1%) are too small to be noticed. Second investigation was particularly emphasizing on a high turning tandem compressor with an increment by 28°. The pressure rise and efficiency were augmented by 1.44% and 2.34%(compared to the initial tandem design), respectively. 10Unsteady Study on the Effects of Matching Characteristic of Tandem Cascade on the Performance and Flow at Large Angle of Attack显示文摘To investigate the effects of matching characteristics of tandem cascade on the performance and flow at large angle of attack, the unsteady numerical simulation has been implemented. The influences of different turning angle ratio(TR) and chord length ratio(CR) of two blades and the relative angle of attack of rear blade(Delta) are analyzed. The numerical results indicated that the tandem cascade can obtain overall performance improvement including higher static pressure ratio and lower total pressure loss with the matching parameters in the range of TR=3~5, CR=0.5~1.2, and Delta=-15°~-5°. The separation on the front blade has more prominent impact than that on the rear blade, so the performance improvement of tandem cascade is significantly dependent on the reduction of front-blade separation and loss. Regarding the rear blade, the gap injection effect can periodically control the separation. 12A method for distinguishing and linking turbulent entrainment mixing and collision-coalescence in stratocumulus clouds显示文摘This paper presents a method to distinguish and link inhomogeneous mixing with subsequent ascent and collision-coalescence. Three stratocumulus clouds analyzed were collected over the U.S. Department of Energy's Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Southern Great Plains site during the March 2000 cloud Intensive Observation Period. The criteria are presented to distinguish the two processes. Inhomogeneous mixing with subsequent ascent is identified if cloud along an aircraft horizontal leg is non-drizzling and the relationship between cloud volume-mean radius and liquid water content is negative; in contrast, drizzling and positive relationship between the above two properties are the criteria for collision-coalescence. To link the two processes, threshold function, the possibility of occurrence of collision-coalescence, is employed; the big droplets generated during the in-homogeneous mixing with subsequent ascent increase the threshold function, initiates collision-coalescence and produces drizzle drops. 13Abnormal Effective Connectivity of the Anterior Forebrain Regions in Disorders of Consciousness显示文摘A number of studies have indicated that disorders of consciousness result from multifocal injuries as well as from the impaired functional and anatomical connectivity between various anterior forebrain regions.However, the specific causal mechanism linking these regions remains unclear. In this study, we used spectral dynamic causal modeling to assess how the effective connections(ECs) between various regions differ between individuals. Next, we used connectome-based predictive modeling to evaluate the performance of the ECs in predicting the clinical scores of DOC patients. We found increased ECs from the striatum to the globus pallidus as well as from the globus pallidus to the posterior cingulate cortex, and decreased ECs from the globus pallidus to the thalamus and from the medial prefrontal cortex to the striatum in DOC patients as compared to healthy controls.Prediction of the patients' outcome was effective using the negative ECs as features. In summary, the present study highlights a key role of the thalamo-basal ganglia-cortical loop in DOCs and supports the anterior forebrain mesocircuit hypothesis. 14Multi-body dynamic system simulation of carrier-based aircraft ski-jump takeoff显示文摘The flight safety is threatened by the special flight conditions and the low speed of carrier-based aircraft ski-jump takeoff. The aircraft carrier motion, aircraft dynamics, landing gears and wind field of sea state are comprehensively considered to dispose this multidiscipline intersection problem. According to the particular naval operating environment of the carrier-based aircraft ski-jump takeoff, the integrated dynamic simulation models of multi-body system are developed, which involves the movement entities of the carrier, the aircraft and the landing gears, and involves takeoff instruction, control system and the deck wind disturbance. Based on Matlab/Simulink environment, the multi-body system simulation is realized. The validity of the model and the rationality of the result are verified by an example simulation of carrier-based aircraft ski-jump takeoff. 16Reservoir accumulation conditions and key exploration&development technologies for Keshen gas field in Tarim Basin显示文摘The Keshen gas field is located in the central part of Kuqa foreland thrust belt in Tarim Basin,and is another large gas field discovered in Kuqa depression after Kela 2 gas field.Since the breakthrough in 2008,a number of large and medium scale gas reservoirs including Keshen 2,Keshen 5 and Keshen 8 have been discovered,that are characterized by ultra depth,ultra-high pressure,ultra-low porosity,ultra-low permeability,high temperature and high pressure.With natural gas geological reserves of nearly trillion cubic meters and production capacity of nearly 5.5 billion cubic meters,the Keshen gas field is the main natural gas producing area in Tarim Oilfield.The Keshen gas field is located in a series of thrusting imbrication structures in the Kelasu structural belt of Kuqa foreland thrust belt.The salt roof structure,plastic rheology of salt beds and pre-salt faulted anticlinal structure constitute the large wedge-shaped thrust body.The thick delta sandstone of the Cretaceous Bashijike Formation is widely distributed,and it forms the superior reservoir-caprock combination with overlying Paleogene thick gypsum-salt bed.The deep Jurassic-Triassic oil and gas migrate vertically along fault system formed in Late Himalaya,break through the thick Cretaceous mudstone and move laterally along the fracture system of the pre-salt reservoirs,to form anticline and fault anticline high pressure reservoir groups.Through near ten years of studies,the three-dimensional seismic acquisition and processing technology for complex mountainous areas,extrusion salt-related structural modeling technology and fractured low-porosity sandstone reservoir evaluation technology have been established,which lay a foundation for realization of oil and gas exploration objectives.Logging acquisition and evaluation technology for high temperature,high pressure,ultra-deep and low-porosity sandstone gas reservoirs,and efficient development technology for fractured tight sandstone gas reservoirs have been developed,which provide a technical support for efficient exploration&development and rapid production of the Keshen gas field.Haijun Yang Yong Li Yangang Tang Ganglin Lei Xiongwei Sun Peng Zhou Lu Zhou Anming Xu Jingjie Tang Wenhui Zhu Jiangwei Shang Weili Chen Mei Li 2019Petroleum Research2019,4,4:3

20Controllable Hydrothermal Synthesis and Properties of ZnO Hierarchical Micro/Nanostructures显示文摘A simple hydrothermal route has been developed for the fabricating Zn O hierarchical micro/nanostructure with excellent reproducibility. SEM and TEM analysis show that the hierarchical rod is a single-crystal, suggesting that many single-crystal micro/nanorods are assembled into Zn O hierarchical micro/nanostructures. The morphologies of the hierarchical rods can be conveniently tailored by changing the reaction parameters. And we also found citric acid plays a crucial role in the formation process of Zn O micro/nanostructures.
