The Relationship between Jurassic Coal Measures and Sandstone-type Uranium Deposits in the Northeastern Ordos Basin,China显示文摘Outcrop and drill hole data show that the Jurassic coal measures in the northeastern Ordos Basin are composed mainly of the Yan'an Formation and the lowstand system tract of the Zhiluo Formation, and there is a regional unconformity between them. The Dongsheng uranium deposit is associated with the Jurassic coal measures. Research data indicate that the Jurassic coal measures in the study area have a certain hydrocarbon-generating capacity, although the metamorphic grade is low(Ro=0.40%–0.58%). In the Dongsheng region alone, the accumulative amount of generated coalbed methane(CBM) is about 2028.29 × 108 –2218.72 × 108 m^3; the residual amount is about 50.92 × 108 m^3,and the lost amount is about 1977 × 108 m^3. Analysis of the burial history of the host rocks and the evolutionary history of the Dongsheng uranium deposit suggests that the Jurassic coal measures generated hydrocarbon mainly from Middle Jurassic to Early Crataceous, which is the main mineralization phase of the Dongsheng uranium deposit. By the Late Cretaceous,a mass of CBM dissipated due to the strong tectonic uplift, and the Dongsheng uranium deposit stepped into the preservation phase. Therefore, the low-mature hydrocarbon-containing fluid in the Jurassic coal measures not only served as a reducing agent for the formation of sandstone-type uranium deposits, but also rendered the second reduction of paleo-interlayer oxidation zone and become the primary reducing agent for ore conservation. Regional strata correlation reveals that the sandstone-type uranium reservoir at the bottom of the Zhiluo Formation is in contact with the underlying industrial coal seams in the Yan'an Formation through incision or in the form of an unconformity surface. In the Dongsheng region with poorly developed fault systems, the unconformity surface and scour surface served as the main migration pathways for low-mature hydrocarbon-containing fluid migrating to the uranium reservoir. | JIAO Yangquan WU Liqun RONG Hui PENG Yunbiao MIAO Aisheng WANG Xiaoming | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,6: | 24

Relations of Uranium Enrichment and Carbonaceous Debris within the Daying Uranium Deposit, Northern Ordos Basin显示文摘Carbonaceous debris(CD)is widely distributed in the sandstone of the Daying Uranium Deposit, northern Ordos Basin, and coexists with uranium minerals, which provides a favorable case for studying their relationship.Vitrinite reflectance(VR),macerals, moisture, volatile matter, ash, total sulfur(S_t)and uranium concentration of CD within the sandstone were studied. The results show that VR ranges from 0.372%Ro to 0.510%Ro with an average value of 0.438%Ro,indicating that CD is in the stage of lignite. The contents of vitrinite(V),inertinite(I)and minerals range from 83.18%–99.48%,0–7.70%,and 0.34%–15.72%,respectively,with the corresponding average value of 95.51%,1.34%,and 3.15%,respectively which indicates that V is the major maceral.Moisture on air dried basis(M_(ad)),volatile matter yield on dry,ash-free basis(V_(daf)),ash yield on dried basis(A_d)and S_t mostly range from 7.95%–16.09%,44.70%–66.54%,4.84%–26.24% and 0.24%–1.12%,respectively,while their average values are 12.43%,53.41%,16.57% and 0.77%,respectively.It suggests that CD is of medium-high moisture,super-high volatile matter,low-medium ash and low sulfur.Uranium concentration ranges from 29 ppm to 92 ppm with an average value of 50 ppm,and uranium concentration increases with the decreased distance to CD.On the whole,M_(ad )and V_(daf) decrease with increasing burial depth, which indicates that CD experienced the burial metamorphism.However,M_(ad) and V_(daf) obviously decrease in uranium-rich areas whereas A_d and S_(t )noticeably increase.Comprehensive studies suggest that there is a certain relationship between uranium enrichment and CD.CD in the stage of lignite helps the adsorption of uranium. On one hand, radioactivity uranium enrichment makes organic matter maturation increase with a decrease in moisture and volatile matter. On the other hand,an increase in organic matter maturation, caused by radioactivity uranium enrichment, results in an increase in uranium minerals, which is instructive in the study of regional uranium mineralization and metallogenic regularity. | Fan Zhang Yangquan Jiao Liqun Wu Hui Rong Longhui Wang | 2019 | Journal of Earth Science2019,30,1: | 6
Fractional Envelope Analysis for Rolling Element Bearing Weak Fault Feature Extraction显示文摘The bearing weak fault feature extraction is crucial to mechanical fault diagnosis and machine condition monitoring.Envelope analysis based on Hilbert transform has been widely used in bearing fault feature extraction. A generalization of the Hilbert transform, the fractional Hilbert transform is defined in the frequency domain, it is based upon the modification of spatial filter with a fractional parameter, and it can be used to construct a new kind of fractional analytic signal. By performing spectrum analysis on the fractional envelope signal, the fractional envelope spectrum can be obtained. When weak faults occur in a bearing, some of the characteristic frequencies will clearly appear in the fractional envelope spectrum. These characteristic frequencies can be used for bearing weak fault feature extraction. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation signal and experiment data. | Jianhong Wang Liyan Qiao Yongqiang Ye YangQuan Chen | 2017 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2017,4,2: | 5
Architectural Units and Groundwater Resource Quantity Evaluation of Cretaceous Sandstones in the Ordos Basin,China显示文摘Sandstone is a common lithology in a number of groundwater reservoirs. Studying the skeleton sandstone architectural units, therefore, lays the basis for characterizing aquifer systems, groundwater quality, and resource evaluation. This comprehensive analysis of Cretaceous aquiferous sandstones in the Ordos basin, China, shows that there exists a basin-scale skeleton sandstone in the Luohe Formation which contains 11 isolated barrier beds, 12 small skeleton sandstone bodies in Huanhe Formation, and 3 in the Luohandong Formation. The spatial structure and superimposed relationship as well as the medium properties of these skeleton sandstones and isolated barrier beds can be shown by 3D visualization models. Simultaneously, resource quantity can be evaluated with the 3D inquiry functions. The comparison between property models and structural models indicates that the salinity of groundwater of the Luohe Formation has a close connection with the locations of isolated barrier beds that contain abundant gypsum. Through quantitative calculation, groundwater resource of the Cretaceous Luohe and Luohandong formations is estimated to be 1.6×10^(12) m^3, and the total groundwater resource of the Cretaceous system in the Ordos basin is more than 2×10^(12) m^3. | WU Liqun JIAO Yangquan ZHU Peimin LEI Xinrong WANG Yonghe | 2017 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,1: | 5
Occurrence, thermal evolution and primary migration processes derived from studies of organic matter in the Lucaogou source rock at the southern margin of the Junggar Basin, NW China显示文摘The Lucaogou Formation carbonate-rich oil shale source rock is exposed at the southern margin of the Junggar Basin, Xinjiang, NW China. We have sampled it in detail and conducted microstructural, mineralogical and geochemical studies, including thin section petrography, UV fluorescence petrography, X-ray diffraction, vitrinite reflectance, bitumen reflectance, fluid inclusion analysis and Raman spectroscopy. Organic matter is disseminated through the carbonate-bearing siltstone source rocks and concentrated in numerous bedding parallel stylolites and in two sets of carbonate veins, one along bedding parallel fractures and the other cross-cutting stylolites and bedding. The research about maturity of organic matter finds vitrinite reflectance values increase from the dispersed kerogen (0.64%) to the stylolites (the one of oriented vitrinite is 0.72% and the one of migrated bitumen is 2.38%); Homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions in veins containing hydrocarbon fluid inclusions show an increase from 178.5℃ in the bedding parallel veins to 222℃ in the cross-cutting veins, confirmed by Raman spectroscopy. These results support a model of progressive heating accompanied by fluid loss during later stages of thermal maturation of source rock and the onset of primary migration. Obviously, the occurrence of organic matter is the trace of hydrocarbon primary migration, and the bedding lamination surfaces and cross-cutting fissures are the principal pathways of hydrocarbon-bearing fluids migration. Bedding lamination surfaces evolved into stylolites along the earliest primary migration pathways, followed by bedding parallel and cross-cutting fissures. | JIAO YangQuan WU LiQun HE MouChun ROGER Mason WANG MinFang XU ZhiCheng | 2007 | Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,z2: | 4

Cyber-Physical Systems as General Distributed Parameter Systems:Three Types of Fractional Order Models and Emerging Research Opportunities显示文摘Cyber-physical systems(CPSs) are man-made complex systems coupled with natural processes that, as a whole, should be described by distributed parameter systems(DPSs) in general forms. This paper presents three such general models for generalized DPSs that can be used to characterize complex CPSs. These three different types of fractional operators based DPS models are: fractional Laplacian operator, fractional power of operator or fractional derivative. This research investigation is motivated by many fractional order models describing natural, physical, and anomalous phenomena, such as sub-diffusion process or super-diffusion process. The relationships among these three different operators are explored and explained. Several potential future research opportunities are then articulated followed by some conclusions and remarks. | Fudong Ge YangQuan Chen Chunhai Kou | 2015 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2015,2,4: | 2

An Iterative Learning Approach to Identify Fractional Order KiBaM Model显示文摘This paper discusses the parameter and differentiation order identification of continuous fractional order Ki Ba M models in ARX(autoregressive model with exogenous inputs)and OE(output error model) forms. The least squares method is applied to the identification of nonlinear and linear parameters,in which the Grunwald-Letnikov definition and short memory principle are applied to compute the fractional order derivatives. An adaptive P-type order learning law is proposed to estimate the differentiation order iteratively and accurately. Particularly,a unique estimation result and a fast convergence speed can be arrived by using the small gain strategy, which is unidirectional and has certain advantages than some state-of-art methods. The proposed strategy can be successfully applied to the nonlinear systems with quasi-linear characteristics. The numerical simulations are shown to validate the concepts. | Yang Zhao Yan Li Fengyu Zhou Zhongkai Zhou YangQuan Chen | 2017 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2017,4,2: | 2

The Controllability, Observability, and Stability Analysis of a Class of Composite Systems with Fractional Degree Generalized Frequency Variables显示文摘This paper is concerned with fundamental properties of a class of composite systems with fractional degree generalized frequency variables, including controllability, observability and stability. Firstly, some necessary and sufficient conditions are given to guarantee controllability and observability of such composite systems. Then we prove that the stability problem of such composite systems can be reduced to judging whether a fractional degree polynomial is stable. Finally, the stability analysis result is applied in the supervisory control of fractional-order multi-agent systems, and an example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. | Cuihong Wang Yafei Zhao YangQuan Chen | 2019 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2019,6,3: | 2
Origin of Dispersed Organic Matter within Sandstones and Its Implication for Uranium Mineralization:A Case Study from Dongsheng Uranium Ore Filed in China显示文摘Carbonaceous debris(CD),common dispersed organic matter(i.e.,DOM),is widely disseminated in sandstones from uranium-bearing strata from the Dongsheng uranium ore field of the northern Ordos Basin.Compositions of maceral, element and biomarkers of CD were investigated through a series of methods with optical microscope, elemental analyzer and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analyses(GC-MS)to study origin of CD.The results show that CD,centrally distributed nearby channel erosion surface, decreases with the increased distances to channel erosion surface, which indicates the CD might be related to the coal seam from the upper unit of the J2y Formation or synsedimentary plant from the J2z Formation.Macerals of CD are composed of vitrinite(i.e.,V),inertinite(i.e.,I),and minerals, including that V is primary.Compared with the coals from the J2y Formation classed into vitrinertite-V(V+I>95%,V>I),CD is grouped into vitrite(V>95%).Although,CD and coal are similar in element composition, the former is of lower organic carbon,H,N,and higher S.The(C27+C29)/(C31+C33)ratios of n-alkanes biomarkers indicate that the percentage of woody plants accounting for vegetation composition of CD predominate over that of coal, which is also evidenced by the higher C/N ratios and oleanane contents of CD.The evidence is also supported by plant branch buried in sandstones. The distribution characteristics of CD and differences in vegetation types between CD and coal suggest that CD might be not from the coal seam from J2y.The tissue preservation index, gelification index, ground water level index, and vegetation index reflect that the paleoenvironment of CD is controlled by fluctuating water, which is also supported by the existences of round CD.Compared with peat, sedimentary paleoenvironment where CD deposits is of weaker reducibility, higher salinity by analyzing Pr/Ph ratios and gammacerane index.Distributions of n-alkanes carbon number of CD with the presence of unknown complex mixtures show that microbial activities exist in sand bodies.Differences in hydrodynamic intensity, redox condition, and microbial activity intensity between sedimentary paleoenvironment of CD and peat, show that CD is born in synsedimentary sandstone environment not in peat.Hence,it comprehensively draws conclusions that immature‘non-peatborn’CD is formed from the trunk, stem, branch, root fragments buried in sandstones, depositing in(micro)allochthonous positions by the influences of fluctuating water. The DOM from synsedimentary plant debris might play more roles in adsorption and complexation, and microorganisms may participate in uranium mineralization, which could provide certain guidance for uranium exploration and mining. | Fan Zhang Yangquan Jiao Shuangming Wang Liqun Wu Hui Rong | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,2: | 2
Relations of Uranium Enrichment and Metal Sulfides within the Shuanglong Uranium Deposit,Southern Ordos Basin显示文摘Large quantities of metal sulfides are widely distributed in uranium ores from the Middle Jurassic Zhiluo Formation of the Shuanglong uranium deposit, southern Ordos Basin, providing a convenient condition to study the relationship between metal sulfides and uranium minerals. The morphology and composition of uranium minerals and metal sulfides are illustrated to study uranium mineralization and mechanisms of metallogenesis.Uranium minerals can be broadly categorized as pitchblende, coffinite and brannerite.Metal sulfides associated with uranium minerals are pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and galena. Some assemblages of various metal sulfides and uranium minerals indicate that they are coeval, but the order of formation is different.Based on mineralogical observations, paragenetic sequences for mineral assemblages are discussed.Alteration of Fe-Ti oxides forms Ti oxides, brannerite and pyrite. The formation of chalcopyrite was later than that of pyrite.Clausthalite(Pb Se)replaces sphalerite or shows isomorphism with galena. There are three genetic types of galena,of which typeⅠis related to tectonic thermal events and can interact with uranyl ions to form uranium oxides and Pb;.When sulfur activity is relatively high,Pb;can form new anhedral galena, that is,typeⅡ.TypeⅢof galena is related to the decay of uranium minerals. The genetic order of the main minerals was determined as follows:Fe-Ti oxides>Ti oxides/sphalerite/pyrite>clausthalite/galenaⅠ/chalcopyrite>galenaⅡ/uranium minerals>galenaⅢduring the diagenetic stage.Hydrogen sulfide(H;S)is a decisive factor in the interaction between metal sulfides and uranium.Metal ions can react with H;S,accompanied by precipitation and enrichment of uranium minerals. | Yuhan Sun Yangquan Jiao LiqunWu Hui Rong | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,2: | 2
