1Darwin:a neuromorphic hardware co-processor based on Spiking Neural Networks显示文摘Broadly speaking, the goal of neuromorphic engineering is to build computer systems that mimic the brain. Spiking Neural Network(SNN) is a type of biologically-inspired neural networks that perform information processing based on discrete-time spikes, different from traditional Artificial Neural Network(ANN).Hardware implementation of SNNs is necessary for achieving high-performance and low-power. We present the Darwin Neural Processing Unit(NPU), a neuromorphic hardware co-processor based on SNN implemented with digitallogic, supporting a maximum of 2048 neurons, 20482= 4194304 synapses, and 15 possible synaptic delays.The Darwin NPU was fabricated by standard 180 nm CMOS technology with an area size of 5 × 5 mm2and70 MHz clock frequency at the worst case. It consumes 0.84 m W/MHz with 1.8 V power supply for typical applications. 2Detection of nanobacteria in serum, bile and gallbladder mucosa of patients with cholecystolithiasis显示文摘In 1990, nanobacterium was found and named by Kajander.1 With distinct mineralizing ability, nanobacteria are thought to play a role in extraskeletal calcifying diseases. It have been found in many human tissues, but whether they exist in the bile or gallbladder mucosa remains unclear. 3Exhaustion and senescence: two crucial dysfunctional states of T cells in the tumor microenvironment显示文摘The failure of a massive influx of tumor-infiltrating T lymphocytes to eradicate tumor cells in the tumor microenvironment is mainly due to the dysfunction of T cells hyporesponsive to tumors.T-cell exhaustion and senescence induced by malignant tumors are two important dysfunctional states that coexist in cancer patients,hindering effective antitumor immunity and immunotherapy and sustaining the suppressive tumor microenvironment.Although exhausted and senescent T cells share a similar dysfunctional role in antitumor immunity,they are distinctly different in terms of generation,development,and metabolic and molecular regulation during tumor progression.Here,we discuss the unique phenotypic and functional characteristics of these two types of dysfunctional T cells and their roles in tumor development and progression.In addition,we further discuss the potential molecular and metabolic signaling pathways responsible for the control of T-cell exhaustion and senescence in the suppressive tumor microenvironment.Understanding these critical and fundamental features should facilitate rethinking the unresponsiveness to current immunotherapies in clinical patients and lead to further development of novel and effective strategies that target different types of dysfunctional T cells to enhance cancer immunotherapy.Yangjing Zhao Qixiang Shao Guangyong Peng 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,1:11
4Electrolyte Optimization of Microarc Oxidation of Magnesium Alloy显示文摘Magnesium alloy AZ91D was processed respectively in one, two, three and four-component electrolytes by using AC microarc oxidation technique. The corrosion resistance of AZ91D alloy was measured by electrochemical methods. The optimum electrolytes in two, three and four components were found. In four-component electrolyte composed by NaOH, NaAlOj, H2O2 and C4H4O6N32, the film formed on AZ91D alloy is smooth and compact, and has a higher corrosion resistance. 6Raman and FTIR spectroscopy of natural oxalates: Implications for the evidence of life on Mars显示文摘Evidence for the existence of primitive life forms such as lichens and fungi can be based upon the for-mation of oxalates. Oxalates are most readily detected using Raman spectroscopy. A comparative study of a suite of natural oxalates including weddellite, whewellite, moolooite, humboldtine, glushinskite, natroxalate and oxammite has been undertaken using Raman spectroscopy. The minerals are characterised by the Raman position of the CO stretch-ing vibration which is cation sensitive. The band is observed at 1468 cm-1 for weddellite, 1489 cm-1 for moolooite, 1471 cm-1 for glushinskite and 1456 cm-1 for natroxalate. Except for oxammite, the infrared and Raman spectra are mutually exclusive indicating the minerals are bidentate. Differences are also observed in the water OH stretching bands of the minerals. The significance of this work rests with the ability of Raman spectroscopy to identify oxalates which often occur as a film on a host rock.
