| 1 | Integrating 1D and 2D hydrodynamic,sediment transport model for dam-break flow using finite volume method显示文摘The purpose of this study is to set up a dynamically linked 1D and 2D hydrodynamic and sediment transport models for dam break flow.The 1D-2D coupling model solves the generalized shallow water equations,the non-equilibrium sediment transport and bed change equations in a coupled fashion using an explicit finite volume method.It considers interactions among transient flow,strong sediment transport and rapid bed change by including bed change and variable flow density in the flow continuity and momentum equations.An unstructured Quadtree rectangular grid with local refinement is used in the 2D model.The intercell flux is computed by the HLL approximate Riemann solver with shock captured capability for computing the dry-to-wet interface for all models.The effects of pressure and gravity are included in source term in this coupling model which can simplify the computation and eliminate numerical imbalance between source and flux terms.The developed model has been tested against experimental and real-life case of dam-break flow over fix bed and movable bed.The results are compared with analytical solution and measured data with good agreement.The simulation results demonstrate that the coupling model is capable of calculating the flow,erosion and deposition for dam break flows in complicated natural domains. | ZHANG MingLiang XU YuanYuan HAO ZiNing QIAO Yang | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,4: | 3 |

| 12 | Seasonal Characteristics of Forecasting Uncertainties in Surface PM_(2.5)Concentration Associated with Forecast Lead Time over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region显示文摘Forecasting uncertainties among meteorological fields have long been recognized as the main limitation on the accuracy and predictability of air quality forecasts.However,the particular impact of meteorological forecasting uncertainties on air quality forecasts specific to different seasons is still not well known.In this study,a series of forecasts with different forecast lead times for January,April,July,and October of 2018 are conducted over the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region and the impacts of meteorological forecasting uncertainties on surface PM_(2.5)concentration forecasts with each lead time are investigated.With increased lead time,the forecasted PM_(2.5)concentrations significantly change and demonstrate obvious seasonal variations.In general,the forecasting uncertainties in monthly mean surface PM_(2.5)concentrations in the BTH region due to lead time are the largest(80%)in spring,followed by autumn(~50%),summer(~40%),and winter(20%).In winter,the forecasting uncertainties in total surface PM_(2.5)mass due to lead time are mainly due to the uncertainties in PBL heights and hence the PBL mixing of anthropogenic primary particles.In spring,the forecasting uncertainties are mainly from the impacts of lead time on lower-tropospheric northwesterly winds,thereby further enhancing the condensation production of anthropogenic secondary particles by the long-range transport of natural dust.In summer,the forecasting uncertainties result mainly from the decrease in dry and wet deposition rates,which are associated with the reduction of near-surface wind speed and precipitation rate.In autumn,the forecasting uncertainties arise mainly from the change in the transport of remote natural dust and anthropogenic particles,which is associated with changes in the large-scale circulation. | Qiuyan DU Chun ZHAO Jiawang FENG Zining YANG Jiamin XU Jun GU Mingshuai ZHANG Mingyue XU Shengfu LIN | 2024 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2024,41,5: | 0 |

| 14 | Screening HLA-A-restricted T cell epitopes of SARS-CoV-2 and the induction of CD8^(+)T cell responses in HLA-A transgenic mice显示文摘Since severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)-specific T cells have been found to play essential roles in host immune protection and pathology in patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),this study focused on the functional validation of T cell epitopes and the development of vaccines that induce specific T cell responses.A total of 120 CD8^(+)T cell epitopes from the E,M,N,S,and RdRp proteins were functionally validated.Among these,110,15,6,14,and 12 epitopes were highly homologous with SARS-CoV,OC43,NL63,HKU1,and 229E,respectively;in addition,four epitopes from the S protein displayed one amino acid that was distinct from the current SARS-CoV-2 variants.Then,31 epitopes restricted by the HLA-A2 molecule were used to generate peptide cocktail vaccines in combination with Poly(I:C),R848 or poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)nanoparticles,and these vaccines elicited robust and specific CD8^(+)T cell responses in HLA-A2/DR1 transgenic mice as well as wild-type mice.In contrast to previous research,this study established a modified DC-peptide-PBL cell coculture system using healthy donor PBMCs to validate the in silico predicted epitopes,provided an epitope library restricted by nine of the most prevalent HLA-A allotypes covering broad Asian populations,and identified the HLA-A restrictions of these validated epitopes using competitive peptide binding experiments with HMy2.CIR cell lines expressing the indicated HLA-A allotype,which initially confirmed the in vivo feasibility of 9-or 10-mer peptide cocktail vaccines against SARS-CoV-2.These data will facilitate the design and development of vaccines that induce antiviral CD8^(+)T cell responses in COVID-19 patients. | Xiaoxiao Jin Yan Ding Shihui Sun Xinyi Wang Zining Zhou Xiaotao Liu Miaomiao Li Xian Chen Anran Shen Yandan Wu Bicheng Liu Jianqiong Zhang Jian Li Yi Yang Haibo Qiu Chuanlai Shen Yuxian He Guangyu Zhao | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,12: | 0 |
