2Study on the treatment of spraying wastewater from coal-fired flue gas by using discharge free radicals显示文摘The coal-fired flue gas spraying wastewater is a kind of refractory mixed wastewater with poor biodegradability.In this study,the degradation of model coal-fired flue gas spraying wastewater was studied by using discharge free radicals produced by double-dielectric barrier discharge.The degradation rate of pollutants,chemical oxygen demand removal rate and other indicators were detected,and the influence of different conditions on the degradation effect was analyzed.The optimal parameters are as follows:residence time 120 min,input power 170.0 W,initial pH value 3.79,and aeration rate 1.8 mL/min.The initial concentrations of acetone,formaldehyde,chloroform,benzene and toluene were 100,100,100,and 100 mg/L,respectively.Furthermore,it is proved that the discharge area is independent of the degradation rate.Through the analysis of the mechanism,it is found that·OH is an important factor affecting the degradation rate of pollutants in model coal-fired flue gas spraying wastewater.YuHai Sun ZhanGuo Lu Yang Huang ZiKe Qiu HanTing Huang ChangMing Du 2022Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2022,4,3:0
3Climate paleogeography knowledge graph and deep time paleoclimate classifications显示文摘The climate paleogeography,especially the climate classifications,helps to interpret the global and regional climate changes and intuitively compare the climate conditions in different regions.However,the application of climate classification in deep time(i.e.,climate paleogeography)is prohibited due to the usually qualitatively constrained paleoclimate and the inconsistent descriptions and semantic heterogeneity of the climate types.In this study,a climate paleogeography knowledge graph is established under the framework of the Deep-Time Digital Earth program(DDE).The hierarchical knowledge graph consists of five paleoclimate classifications based on various strategies.The classifications are described and their strengths and weaknesses are fully evaluated in four aspects:“simplicity,applicability,quantifiability,and comparability”.We also reconstruct the global climate distributions in the Late Cretaceous according to these classifications.The results are compared and the relationships among these climate types in different classifications are evaluated.Our study unifies scientific concepts from different paleoclimate classifications,which provides an important theoretical basis for the application of paleoclimate classifications in deep time.Chenmin Yu Laiming Zhang Mingcai Hou Jianghai Yang Hanting Zhong Chengshan Wang 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,5:0
4Structural form selection of the high-rise buildingwith the improved BP neural network显示文摘As civil engineering technology development,the structural form selection is more and more critical in design of high-rise buildings.However,structural form selection involves expertise knowledge and changes with the environment which makes the task arduous.An approach utilizing improved back propagation(BP)neural network optimized by the Levenberg-Marquardt(L-M)algorithm is proposed to extract the main controlling factors of structural form selection.Then,an intelligent expert system with artificial neural network is constructed to design high-rise buildings structure effectively.The experiment tests the model in 15 well-known architecture samples and get the prediction accuracy of 93.33%.The results show that the method is feasible and can help designers select the appropriate structural form.赵光哲 Yang Hanting Tu Bing Zhou Meiling Zhou Chengle 2020High Technology Letters2020,26,1:0
5Digital light processing 3D printing for microfluidic chips with enhanced resolution via dosing-and zoning-controlled vat photopolymerization显示文摘Conventional manufacturing techniques to fabricate microfluidic chips,such as soft lithography and hot embossing process,have limitations that include difficulty in preparing multiple-layered structures,cost-and labor-consuming fabrication process,and low productivity.Digital light processing(DLP)technology has recently emerged as a costefficient microfabrication approach for the 3D printing of microfluidic chips;however,the fabrication resolution for microchannels is still limited to sub-100 microns at best.Here,we developed an innovative DLP printing strategy for high resolution and scalable microchannel fabrication by dosing-and zoning-controlled vat photopolymerization(DZC-VPP).Specifically,we proposed a modified mathematical model to precisely predict the accumulated UV irradiance for resin photopolymerization,thereby providing guidance for the fabrication of microchannels with enhanced resolution.By fine-tuning the printing parameters,including optical irradiance,exposure time,projection region,and step distance,we can precisely tailor the penetration irradiance stemming from the photopolymerization of the neighboring resin layers,thereby preventing channel blockage due to UV overexposure or compromised bonding stability owing to insufficient resin curing.Remarkably,this strategy can allow the preparation of microchannels with cross-sectional dimensions of 20μm×20μm using a commercial printer with a pixel size of 10μm×10μm;this is significantly higher resolution than previous reports.In addition,this method can enable the scalable and biocompatible fabrication of microfluidic drop-maker units that can be used for cell encapsulation.In general,the current DZC-VPP method can enable major advances in precise and scalable microchannel fabrication and represents a significant step forward for widespread applications of microfluidics-based techniques in biomedical fields.Zhiming Luo Haoyue Zhang Runze Chen Hanting Li Fang Cheng Lijun Zhang Jia Liu Tiantian Kong Yang Zhang Huanan Wang 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,4:0
