Deformation Behavior of Medium-strength TA18 High-pressure Tubes During NC Bending with Different Bending Radii显示文摘To improve the forming quality and forming limit of the numerical control (NC) bending of high-pressure titanium alloy tubes, in this study, using three-dimensional (3D) finite element method, deformation behavior of medium-strength TA18 high-pressure tubes during NC bending with different bending radii is investigated. The results show that the cross-sectional deformation and the wall thickness variation during NC bending of TA18 tubes using a small bending radius (less than 2 times of tube outside diameter) are clearly different from that using a normal bending radius (between 2 and 4 times of tube outside diameter). For bending with a normal bending radius, with or without a mandrel, the distribution of the flattening in the bending area resembles a platform and an asymmetric parabola, respectively. For bending with a small bending radius, with or without a mandrel, the flattening both distributes like a parabola, but the former has a stable peak which deflects toward the initial bending section, and the latter has a more pronounced peak with a bending angle and deflects slightly toward the bending section. The wall thickness variations with a normal bending radius, with and without a mandrel, both resemble a platform when the bending angle exceeds a certain angle. For the bending with a small radius, the distribution of the wall thickness variation without a mandrel follows an approximate parabola which increases in value as the bending angle increases. If a mandrel is used, the thickening ratio increases from the initial bending section to the bending section. | JIANG Zhiqiang ZHAN Mei YANG He XU Xudong LI Guangjun | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2011,24,5: | 16
Springback prediction of thick-walled high-strength titanium tube bending显示文摘Signifcant springback occurs after tube rotary-draw-bending(RDB),especially for a high-strength Ti–3Al–2.5V tube(HSTT) due to its high ratio of yield strength to Young's modulus. The combination scheme of explicit and implicit is preferred to predict the springback. This simulation strategy includes several numerical parameters, such as element type, number of elements through thickness(NEL),element size, etc. However, the influences of these parameters on springback prediction accuracy are not fully understood. Thus, taking the geometrical specifcation9.525 mm · 0.508 mm of a HSTT as the objective, the effects of numerical parameters on prediction accuracy and computation effciency of springback simulation of HSTT RDB are investigated. The simulated springback results are compared with experimental ones. The main results are:(1) solid and continuum-shell elements predict the experimental results well;(2) for C3D8R elements,NEL of at least 3 is required to obtain reliable results and a relative error of 29% can occur as NEL is varied in the range of 1–3;(3) specifying damping factor typically works well in Abaqus/Emplicit simulation of springback and the springback results are sensitive to the magnitude of damping factor. In addition, the explanations of the effect rules are given and a guideline is added. | Song Feifei Yang He Li Heng Zhan Mei Li Guangjun | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5: | 15
Numerically controlled bending performance of medium strength TA18 titanium alloy tubes under different die sets显示文摘The rapid development of aviation and aerospace technologies has led to increased interest in the application of numerically controlled(NC) technology for bending light-weight titanium alloy tubes. In order to study and develop advanced NC bending technology,it is necessary to understand the bending performance of medium strength TA18(Ti-3Al-2.5V,ASTM Gr.9) titanium alloy tubes during NC bending under different die sets. This paper focuses on the bending performance of medium strength TA18 tubes under different NC bending die sets, including the variations in the stress, strain, wall thickness, cross sectional deformation, and defects. The results show that adding a wiper die to the base die set decreases the radial, hoop, and tangential compressive stress and the tangential compressive strain, and adding a mandrel to the base die set also decreases these stresses, but increases the radial and hoop tensile stress and decreases the hoop compressive strain obviously, and brings about a three-dimensional tensile stress concentration where the mandrel provides support. For the NC bending of medium strength TA18 tubes, the flattening of cross section is more sensitive index than the thinning of wall thickness.Introducing a mandrel can improve the flattening of cross section obviously but it has a little worse effect on the thinning of wall thickness, and adding a wiper die to the base die set can inhibit the occurrence of the inside bulge but worsen the flattening of the cross section remarkably.Considering the above effects of the mandrel and wiper die on bending performance,it is reasonable to apply the die set comprising a bending die, clamp die,and pressure die for tubes with a small diameter and the die set including an appropriate mandrel additionally for tubes with a larger diameter,in order to bend the medium strength TA18 tubes with high quality and at low cost. | ZHAN Mei JIANG ZhiQiang YANG He XU XuDong LI GuangJun | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,4: | 13
Geometry-dependent springback behaviors of thin-walled tube upon cold bending显示文摘As one kind of key lightweight components with enormous quantities and diversities, the bent tubular parts have attracted in- creasing applications in aerospace, automobile, etc. Thus, how the inevitable springback behaves under different bending specifications should be fully addressed to efficiently achieve the precision forming of various bent tubes. Taking the medium strength thin-walled 6061-T4 Al-alloy tube as the objective, via the deformation theory of plasticity, explicit/implicit FE method and experimental approaches, we explored and clarified the nonlinear springback rules of the tubes and corresponding mechanisms in universal rotary draw bending regarding angular springback and radius growth by deliberately changing the tube diameter D and wall thickness t. The geometry dependent springback behaviors of thin-walled tube upon cold bending are thus revealed: 1) With the increasing of D, the tangent tensile strain increases and the proportional coefficient decreases, which causes the angular springback to decrease, while the radius springback increases due to the larger bending radius. 2) With the increasing of t, the tangent tensile strain decreases and the proportional coefficient increases, resulting in the increase of both angular springback and radius springback. 3) Under the same D/t, the angular springback varies little, while the radius springback increases with the larger diameter D. 4) The D/t can be used as a reasonable nondimensional index to evaluate the springback angle; as to the radius growth, the individual effects of the D and t should be considered. 5) The verification of the above results was conducted by experiments and analytical analysis. | LI Heng YANG He TIAN YuLi LI GuangJun WANG ZhengHua | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,12: | 10
Tribological evaluation of surface modified H13 tool steel in warm forming of Ti–6Al–4V titanium alloy sheet显示文摘The H13 hot-working tool steel is widely used as die material in the warm forming of Ti–6Al–4V titanium alloy sheet. However, under the heating condition, severe friction and lubricating conditions between the H13 tools and Ti–6Al–4V titanium alloy sheet would cause difficulty in guaranteeing forming quality. Surface modification may be used to control the level of friction force, reduce the friction wear and extend the service life of dies. In this paper, four surface modification methods(chromium plating, TiAlN coating, surface polishing and nitriding treatment)were applied to the H13 surfaces. Taking the coefficient of friction(CoF) and the wear degree as evaluation indicators, the high-temperature tribological behavior of the surface modified H13 steel was experimentally investigated under different tribological conditions. The results of this study indicate that the tribological properties of the TiAlN coating under dry friction condition are better than the others for a wide range of temperature(from room temperature to 500 C), while there is little difference of tribological properties between different surface modifications under graphite lubricated condition, and the variation law of CoF with temperature under graphite lubricated is opposite to that under the dry friction. | Wang Dan Li Heng Yang He Ma Jun Li Guangjun | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,4: | 9
Nanoscale pore morphology and distribution of lacustrine shale reservoirs:Examples from the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation,Ordos Basin显示文摘Pore structure plays an important role in the gas storage and flow capacity of shale gas reservoirs. Fieldemission environmental scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) in combination with low-pressure carbon dioxide gas adsorption(CO2GA),nitrogen gas adsorption(N2GA),and high-pressure mercury intrusion(HPMI) were used to study the nanostructure pore morphology and pore-size distributions(PSDs) of lacustrine shale from the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation,Ordos Basin. Results show that the pores in the shale reservoirs are generally nanoscale and can be classified into four types: organic, interparticle, intraparticle, and microfracture. The interparticle pores between clay particles and organic-matter pores develop most often,l with pore sizes that vary from several to more than 100 nm. Mercury porosimetry analysis shows total porosities ranging between 1.93 and 7.68%,with a mean value of 5.27%. The BET surface areas as determined by N2 adsorption in the nine samples range from 10 to 20 m2/g and the CO2 equivalent surface areas(<2 nm)vary from 18 to 71 m2/g. Together, the HPMI,N2 GA,and CO2 GA curves indicate that the pore volumes are mainly due to pores <100 nm in size. In contrast, however, most of the specific surface areas are provided by the micropores. The total organic carbon(TOC) and clay minerals are the primary controls of the structures of nanoscale pores(especially micropores and mesopores). Micropores are predominantly determined by the content of the TOC,and mesopores are possibly related to the content of clay minerals, particularly the illite-montmorillonite mixed-layer content. | Yang Wang Yanming Zhu Hongyan Wang Guangjun Feng | 2015 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2015,24,4: | 6
Effects of the Fhb1 gene on Fusarium head blight resistance and agronomic traits of winter wheat显示文摘The gene Fhb1 has been used in many countries to improve wheat Fusarium head blight(FHB) resistance. To make better use of this gene in the Yellow-Huai River Valleys Winter Wheat Zone(YHWZ), the most important wheat-producing region of China, it is desirable to elucidate its effects on FHB resistance and agronomic traits in different genetic backgrounds. Based on a diagnostic marker for Fhb1, six BC2 populations were developed by crossing dwarf-male-sterile(DMS)-Zhoumai 16 to three Fhb1 donors(Ningmai 9, Ningmai 13, and Jianyang 84) and backcrossing to Zhoumai 16 and Zhoumai16’s derivative cultivars(Lunxuan 136 and Lunxuan 13) using marker-assisted backcross breeding. The progenies were assessed for FHB resistance and major agronomic traits. The Fhb1 alleles were identified using the gene-specific molecular marker. The plants with the Fhb1-resistant genotype(Fhb1-R) in these populations showed significantly fewer infected spikelets than those with the Fhb1-susceptible genotype(Fhb1-S). When Lunxuan 136 was used as the recurrent parent, Fhb1-R plants showed significantly fewer infected spikelets per spike than Fhb1-R plants produced using Lunxuan 13 as the recurrent parent, indicating that the genetic backgrounds of Fhb1 influence the expression of FHB resistance. Fhb1-R plants from the DMS-Zhoumai 16/Ningmai 9//Zhoumai 16/3/Lunxuan 136 population showed the highest FHB resistance among the six populations and a significantly higher level of FHB resistance than the moderately susceptible control Huaimai 20. No significant phenotypic differences between Fhb1-R and Fhb1-S plants were observed for the eight agronomic traits investigated. These results suggest that it is feasible to improve FHB resistance of winter wheat withoutreducing yield potential by introgressing Fhb1 resistance allele into FHB-susceptible cultivars in the YHWZ. | Teng Li Hongjun Zhang Yiwen Huang Zhenqi Su Yun Deng Hongwei Liu Chunyan Mai Guangjun Yu Huili Li Liqiang Yu Tongquan Zhu Li Yang Hongjie Li Yang Zhou | 2019 | The Crop Journal2019,7,6: | 6
A Collision Arbitration Protocol Based on Specific Selection Function显示文摘Fast and effective identifications of a large number of items are required in many Radio-frequency identification(RFID) applications. Simultaneous responses from multiple tags are corrupted by collisions and thus result in low identification efficiency. To address the problem of low identification efficiency, many existing tag anticollision algorithms try to schedule the identification process to avoid collisions. A novel anti-collision scheme based on specific selection function is presented, in which tags pick a slot according to a selection function instead of being randomly assigned to slots within a frame. If collision occurs, the reader sends the custom command SETBM according to the collision information. When probed by the SETBM, the tags apply the selection function to its partial ID and send the mapped result to the reader. According to the mapped result, the reader assigns the time slot to the tags. All tags collided in the same slot will be identified by the tree traversal scheme. Compared to the most of existing anti-collision algorithms, simulation results show that our proposed algorithm can achieve better performance in terms of identification efficiency, time efficiency, and energy consumption. | SU Jian REN Yuqing YANG Ying HAN Yu WEN Guangjun | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2017,26,4: | 5
An ultra-low power output capacitor-less low-dropout regulator with slew-rate-enhanced circuit显示文摘An ultra-low power output-capacitorless low-dropout(LDO) regulator with a slew-rate-enhanced(SRE)circuit is introduced. The increased slew rate is achieved by sensing the transient output voltage of the LDO and then charging(or discharging) the gate capacitor quickly. In addition, a buffer with ultra-low output impedance is presented to improve line and load regulations. This design is fabricated by SMIC 0.18 μm CMOS technology. Experimental results show that, the proposed LDO regulator only consumes an ultra-low quiescent current of 1.2 μA.The output current range is from 10 μA to 200 m A and the corresponding variation of output voltage is less than 40 m V. Moreover, the measured line regulation and load regulation are 15.38 m V/V and 0.4 m V/m A respectively. | Xin Cheng Yu Zhang Guangjun Xie Yizhong Yang Zhang Zhang | 2018 | Journal of Semiconductors2018,39,3: | 4
Towards intelligent design optimization: Progress and challenge of design optimization theories and technologies for plastic forming显示文摘Plastic forming is one of enabling and fundamental technologies in advanced manufacturing chains. Design optimization is a critical way to improve the performance of the forming system, exploit the advantages of high productivity, high product quality, low production cost and short time to market and develop precise, accurate, green, and intelligent(smart) plastic forming technology. However, plastic forming is quite complicated, relating to multi-physics field coupling,multi-factor influence, multi-defect constraint, and triple nonlinear, etc., and the design optimization for plastic forming involves multi-objective, multi-parameter, multi-constraint, nonlinear,high-dimensionality, non-continuity, time-varying, and uncertainty, etc. Therefore, how to achieve accurate and efficient design optimization of products, equipment, tools/dies, and processing as well as materials characterization has always been the research frontier and focus in the field of engineering and manufacturing. In recent years, with the rapid development of computing science, data science and internet of things(Io T), the theories and technologies of design optimization have attracted more and more attention, and developed rapidly in forming process. Accordingly, this paper first introduced the framework of design optimization for plastic forming. Then, focusing on the key problems of design optimization, such as numerical model and optimization algorithm, this paper summarized the research progress on the development and application of the theories and technologies about design optimization in forming process, including deterministic and uncertain optimization. Moreover, the applicability of various modeling methods and optimization algorithms was elaborated in solving the design optimization problems of plastic forming. | 12 | Attenuation ofβ-Amyloid Toxicity In Vitro and In Vivo by Accelerated Aggregation显示文摘Accumulation and aggregation of β-amyloid(Aβ) peptides result in neuronal death, leading to cognitive dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease. The self-assembled Aβ molecules form various intermediate aggregates including oligomers that are more toxic to neurons than the mature aggregates, including fibrils. Thus, one strategy to alleviate Aβ toxicity is to facilitate the conversion of Aβ intermediates to larger aggregates such as fibrils. In this study, we designed a peptide named A3 that significantly enhanced the formation of amorphous aggregates of Aβ by accelerating the aggregation kinetics. Thioflavin T fluorescence experiments revealed an accelerated aggregation of Aβ monomers, accompanying reduced Aβ cytotoxicity. Transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans over-expressing amyloid precursor protein exhibited paralysis due to the accumulation of Aβ oligomers, and this phenotype was attenuated by feeding the animals with A3 peptide. These findings suggest that the Aβ aggregation-promotion effect can potentially be useful for developing strategies to reduce Aβ toxicity. | Aihua Yang Chenxuan Wang Baomin Song Wendi Zhang Yuanyuan Guo Rong Yang Guangjun Nie Yanlian Yang Chen Wang | 2017 | Neuroscience Bulletin2017,33,4: | 3

| 14 | Variation in allelic frequencies at loci associated with kernel weight and their effects on kernel weight-related traits in winter wheat显示文摘Knowledge of allelic frequencies at loci associated with kernel weight and effects on kernel weight-related traits is crucial for yield improvement in wheat. Kernel weight-related traits were evaluated in 200 Chinese winter wheat cultivars(lines) grown at the Xinxiang Experimental Station, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Xinxiang in Henan Province, for three consecutive years from 2014 to 2016. Alleles associated with kernel weight at nine loci, TaCKX6-D1, TaCwi-A1, TaCWI-4A, TaGS1a, TaGS5-A1, TaGS3-3A, TaGW2-6A, TaSus2-2B, and TaTGW6-A1, were determined for all cultivars(lines). ANOVA showed that genotypes, years and their interactions had significant effects on thousand-kernel weight(TKW), kernel length(KL) and kernel width(KW). The overall mean frequencies of alleles conferring high and low TKW at the nine loci were 65.9% and 33.4%, with the ranges of 37.0%–85.0% and 13.5%–63.0% for single loci. The frequencies of high-TKW alleles were over 50.0% at eight of the loci. Genotypes at each locus with the high-TKW allele had higher TKW than those with the low-TKW allele. The high-TKW allele Hap-H at the TaSus2-2B locus can be preferably used to increase grain yield due to its high TKW(49.32 g). A total of 18 main allelic combinations(ACs) at nine loci were detected. Three ACs(AC1–AC3) had significantly higher TKW than AC6 with high-TKW alleles at all nine loci even though they contained some low-TKW alleles. This indicated that other loci controlling kernel weight were present in the high-TKW cultivars.
