| 1 | Satellite lithium-ion battery remaining useful life estimation with an iterative updated RVM fused with the KF algorithm显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries have become the third-generation space batteries and are widely utilized in a series of spacecraft.Remaining Useful Life(RUL) estimation is essential to a spacecraft as the battery is a critical part and determines the lifetime and reliability.The Relevance Vector Machine(RVM) is a data-driven algorithm used to estimate a battery's RUL due to its sparse feature and uncertainty management capability.Especially, some of the regressive cases indicate that the RVM can obtain a better short-term prediction performance rather than long-term prediction.As a nonlinear kernel learning algorithm, the coefficient matrix and relevance vectors are fixed once the RVM training is conducted.Moreover, the RVM can be simply influenced by the noise with the training data.Thus, this work proposes an iterative updated approach to improve the long-term prediction performance for a battery's RUL prediction.Firstly, when a new estimator is output by the RVM, the Kalman filter is applied to optimize this estimator with a physical degradation model.Then, this optimized estimator is added into the training set as an on-line sample, the RVM model is re-trained, and the coefficient matrix and relevance vectors can be dynamically adjusted to make next iterative prediction.Experimental results with a commercial battery test data set and a satellite battery data set both indicate that the proposed method can achieve a better performance for RUL estimation. | Yuchen SONG Datong LIU Yandong HOU Jinxiang YU Yu PENG | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,1: | 29 |
| 2 | Ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis regulated by porous architecture of hydroxyapatite scaffolds with similar interconnecting structure in vivo显示文摘The macro-pore sizes of porous scaffold play a key role for regulating ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis but many researches ignored the influence of interconnection between macro-pores with different sizes.In order to accurately reveal the relationship between ectopic osteogenesis and macro-pore sizes in dorsal muscle and abdominal cavities of dogs,hydroxyapatite(HA)scaffolds with three different macro-pore sizes of 500–650,750–900 and 1100–1250 mm were prepared via sugar spheres-leaching process,which also had similar interconnecting structure determined by keeping the d/s ratio of interconnecting window diameter to macro-pore size constant.The permeability test showed that the seepage flow of fluid through the porous scaffolds increased with the increase of macro-pore sizes.The cell growth in three scaffolds was not affected by the macro-pore sizes.The in vivo ectopic implantation results indicated that the macro-pore sizes of HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure have impact not only the speed of osteogenesis and angiogenesis but also the space distribution of newly formed bone.The scaffold with macro-pore sizes of 750–900 mm exhibited much faster angiogenesis and osteogenesis,and much more uniformly distribution of new bone than those with othermacro-pore sizes.This work illustrates the importance of a suitable macro-pore sizes in HA scaffolds with the similar interconnecting structure which provides the environment for ectopic osteogenesis and angiogenesis. | Jinyu Li Wei Zhi Taotao Xu Feng Shi Ke Duan JianxinWang Yandong Mu Jie Weng | 2016 | Regenerative Biomaterials2016,3,5: | 16 |
| 3 | Theoretical study on Manson-Coffin equation for physically short cracks and lifetime prediction显示文摘The Manson-Coffin equation has been widely applied to the prediction of fatigue lifetime.But this equation does not explicitly express the relation between the fatigue lifetime and the crack length.The present paper proposes that the grain size can be re-placed by the maximum non-damaging crack length.Thus,the growth rate will decrease to zero when the crack reaches this size.Combining with the theory of the fatigue short crack propagation,we derived the relations between physically short crack's initiation-propagation rates and material's mechanical properties,as well as crack length,stress and strain.With the derived relations,fatigue lifetime of short cracks can be successfully predicted by basic mechanical properties.Similar to the format of Manson-Coffin equation,our relations uncover the essence of Manson-Coffin equation which may reveal the short crack's initiation-propagation mechanism.Predictions of fatigue lifetime using our relations were compared with the results of well-known experiments.Good agreement is found in many aspects,such as coefficients,exponents,as well as fatigue life-times,especially for short cracks around 10 micrometers.Predictions on the short crack propagation rates are also compared for 16 types of carbon steels.Satisfactory consistency shows that our relations have wide applicability. | HU YanDong HU ZhiZhong CAO ShuZhen | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,1: | 14 |
| 4 | Novel Mobility Formula for Parallel Mechanisms Expressed with Mobility of General Link Group显示文摘The determination of virtual constraints is always one of the key and difficult problems in traditional mobility calculation.To make mobility calculation simple,considering avoiding virtual constraints,some new formulae have been presented,however these formulae can hardly intuitively reflect general link group’s restrictions on output member and its influences on independence of output parameters,which is premise to the judgment of the properties of mobility.Towards the problem to reveal the intrinsic relationship between the degree of freedom(DOF)of a mechanism,the link group,and the dimension of output parameters,also to avoid determination of virtual constraint,based on the new concepts of the'DOF of general link group'and'node parameters',a new formula in the calculation of the mobility of mechanisms is presented that is expressed with DOFs of the general link groups and rank of motion parameters of base point of the output link.It is named GOM(mobility of groups and output parameter)formula.On the basis of new concepts of'effective parameters'and'invalid parameters',a rule is put forward for solving the DOF of mechanisms with invalid parameters by GOM formula,that is,the base point parameters are the subset of effective parameters of link group.Thereafter,several examples are enumerated and the results coincide with the prototype data,which proves the validity of the proposed formula.Meanwhile,it is obtained that the necessary and sufficient condition for the judgment of output parameters independence is that each of the DOF of the link group is not less than zero.The proposed formula which is simple in calculation provides theoretical basis for the judgment of independence of output parameters and provides references for type synthesis of novel parallel mechanisms with independence requirements of their output parameters. | ZHANG Yitong LU Wenjuan MU Dejun YANG Yandong ZHANG Lijie ZENG Daxing | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,6: | 14 |
| 5 | Tracing the first hematopoietic stem cell generation in human embryo by single-cell RNA sequencing显示文摘Tracing the emergence of the first hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs)in human embryos,particularly the scarce and transient precursors thereof,is so far challenging,largely due to the technical limitations and the material rarity.Here,using single-cell RNA sequencing,we constructed the first genome-scale gene expression landscape covering the entire course of endothelial-to-HSC transition during human embryogenesis.The transcriptomically defined HSC-primed hemogenic endothelial cells(HECs)were captured at Carnegie stage(CS)12-14 in an unbiased way,showing an unambiguous feature of arterial endothelial cells(ECs)with the up-regulation of RUNX1,MYB and ANGPTL Importantly,subcategorizing CD34+CD45-ECs into a CD44+population strikingly enriched HECs by over 10-fold.We further mapped the developmental path from arterial ECs via HSC-primed HECs to hematopoietic stem progenitor cells,and revealed a distinct expression pattern of genes that were transiently over-represented upon the hemogenic fate choice of arterial ECs#including EMCN,PROCR and RUNX1T1.We also uncovered another temporally and molecularly distinct intra-embryonic HEC population,which was detected mainly at earlier CS 10 and lacked the arterial feature.Finally,we revealed the cellular components of the putative aortic niche and potential cellular interactions acting on the HSCprimed HECs.The cellular and molecular programs that underlie the generation of the first HSCs from HECs in human embryos,together with the ability to distinguish the HSC-primed HECs from others,will shed light on the strategies for the production of clinically useful HSCs from pluripotent stem cells. | Yang Zeng Jian He Zhijie Bai Zongcheng Li Yandong Gong Chen Liu Yanli Ni Junjie Du Chunyu Ma Lihong Bian Yu Lan Bing Liu | 2019 | Cell Research2019,29,11: | 14 |

| 8 | Comparison of Anterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography and Ultrasound Biomicroscopy for Iris Parameter Measurements in Patients with Primary Angle Closure Glaucoma显示文摘Purpose: To compare the repeatability and consistency of anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) and ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) in measuring iris parameters in patients with primary angle closure glaucoma. Methods: Twenty-two patients (38 eyes) with primary angle closure glaucoma,including 5 eyes with acute angle closure glaucoma,10 fellow eyes of acute angle closure glaucoma, and 23 eyes with chronic angle closure glaucoma, were recruited consecutively in our hospital. All subjects underwent anterior scanning by AS-OCT and UBM. Peripheral iris thickness (PIT) and iris curvature (IC) in the anterior segment image obtained by AS-OCT and UBM were measured twice. The reproducibility of these two scans was evaluated by the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). A paired t-test was used to compare the difference between the two scans and the 95% limits of agreement (LoA) were calculated. Results:The ICCs of PIT and IC measured by UBM were 0.892 and 0.936 respectively, while for AS-OCT these values were 0.629 and 0.859, respectively. UBM had a higher reproducibility in both PIT and IC measurements as compared with AS-OCT.Differences in PIT measurement between AS-OCT and UBM(P=0.331).were not statistically significant, the 95% LoA (-0.178~0.156) mm was 36.1~41.2% of the mean. The IC was 0.053 mm smaller when measured by UBM than by AS-OCT (P=0.017), with the 95% LoA (-0.100~0.206) mm, or 36.2~74.6% of the mean.Conclusion:UBM had a higher reproducibility in measuring iris parameters than AS-OCT. The consistency between AS- OCT and UBM in measuring iris parameters was low in primary angle closure glaucoma patients. In parallel manufacturing, social demands are analyzed and extracted from social intelligence for product R&D and production planning, and digital workers and robotic workers perform the majority of the physical and mental work instead of human workers, contributing to the realization of low-cost, high-efficiency and zero-inventory manufacturing. A variety of advanced technologies such as Knowledge Automation(KA), blockchain, crowdsourcing and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations(DAOs) provide powerful support for the construction of parallel manufacturing, which holds the promise of breaking the constraints of resource and capacity, and the limitations of time and space. With such steering control system, it becomes possible to improve the lateral stability and handling performance. In this paper, a new control method for 4WS vehicle is proposed, its rear wheels steering angle is in accordance with the angle of front wheels steering and vehicle yaw rate, and the effects of front wheels steering angle velocity are considered by adopting the fractional derivative theory. Some design specifications for control law are also given. The effects of the control method are verified by a kind of numerical scheme presented in this paper. The dynamic characteristics such as the side-slip angle and the yaw angle velocity of the vehicle gravity center are compared among three kinds of vehicles with different control methods. And the kinematics characteristics such as turning radius between 4WS and 2WS are also discussed. By applying the successive approximation theory of differential equations, the two-point boundary value (TPBV) problem with both time-delay and time-advance terms derived from the original optimal tracking control (OTC) problem is transformed into a sequence of linear TPBV prob- lems without delay and advance terms. The solution sequence of the linear TPBV problems uniformly converges to the solution of the original OTC problem The obtained OTC law consists of analytic state feedback terms and a compensation term which is the limit of the adjoint vector sequence. The com- pensation term can be obtained from an iteration formula of adjoint vectors. By using a finite term of the adjoint vector sequence, a suboptimal tracking control law is revealed. | 13 | Morphologic characteristics and growth interface stability of nano-micron FeS_2 whiskers显示文摘Micromorphology is further studied on the basis of our previous researches concerned with the nano-micron FeS2 whisker. There are obvious differences in the intensive degree, diameter and micromorphology among the FeS2 whiskers growing in different stages. From the early to late stage, the intensive degree increases, the diameter decreases, and the surface micro-morphology changes following the regularity: protrusive nodulation → coarse → smooth → flat. According to the theory of crystal growth, the geological setting and processes of whisker formation, we discuss the stability and evolution of crystal growth interface of FeS2 whisker occurring in Gengzhuang gold deposit (Shanxi Province, China). The results suggest that the negative temperature gradient and the supercooling appear in the early stage of the whisker growth, whereas the positive temperature gradient of reposeful state appears in the late stage. In the whisker growth stage, the component concentration changes through the three stages: severely nonhomogeneous in the early stage, relatively homogeneous in the middle stage, more homogeneous in the late stage. The general changing process of the interfacial state is from unstable to stable. Micromorphology of FeS2 whisker in Gengzhuang is the result of synergism of temperature, component concentration and stability of crystal interface phase in hydrothermal system. | 20 | Protective effect of Chushizi(Fructus Broussonetiae)on acetaminophen-induced rat hepatitis by inhibiting the Toll-like receptor 3/c-Jun N-terminal kinase/c-jun/c-fos/janus protein tyrosine kinase/activators of transcription 3 pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the intervention of Chushizi(Fructus Broussonetiae)(CSZ)on drug-induced liver injury(DILI)in rats,as well as indicators of liver function,serum levels of inflammatory cytokines,and expression of proteins and m RNA associated with toll-like receptor 3(TLR3)and the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)pathway in the liver[TLR3,janus protein tyrosine kinase 2(JAK2),c-jun,c-fos,c-Jun N-terminal kinase 2(JNK2),and STAT3].METHODS:Forty specified pathogen free grade Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the control group,the model group,the silybin group and the CSZ group.Rats were given acetaminophen(APAP)to trigger DILI.Histopathology of the liver was observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining.The levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST),direct bilirubin(DBIL),and total bilirubin(TBIL)in serum were detected by a semi-automatic biochemical instrument.Content of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-13,and IL-22 in serum were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,the expression of TLR3,phosphorylation of JAK2(p-JAK2),while c-jun and c-fos proteins in the liver were determined by immunohistochemistry;expression of JNK2,and STAT3 in the liver were assayed by Western blot and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.P-JNK2 and p-STAT3 in the liver were assayed by Western blot.RESULTS:After treatment,the activity of ALT,AST,and concentrations of TBIL,DBIL,TNF-α,IL-6,as well as IL-13 in serum,were lower than those in the model group,and expression of p-JAK2,TLR3,c-jun,c-fos,p-STAT3,and p-JNK2 could be downregulated.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that CSZ is a valid medicine to alleviate APAP-induced DILI,while its partial mechanism may regulate the TLR3/JNK/c-jun/c-fos/JAK/STAT3 pathway. | Zhang Yandong Biao Yaning Chu Xinqiao Hao Lei Shi Cheng Liu Yu Zhang Yixin Wang Xi | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6: | 4 |
