1Astronaut mass measurement using linear acceleration method and the effect of body non-rigidity显示文摘Astronaut's body mass is an essential factor of health monitoring in space.The latest mass measurement device for the International Space Station (ISS) has employed a linear acceleration method.The principle of this method is that the device generates a constant pulling force,and the astronaut is accelerated on a parallelogram motion guide which rotates at a large radius to achieve a nearly linear trajectory.The acceleration is calculated by regression analysis of the displacement versus time trajectory and the body mass is calculated by using the formula m=F/a.However,in actual flight,the device is instable that the deviation between runs could be 6-7 kg.This paper considers the body non-rigidity as the major cause of error and instability and analyzes the effects of body non-rigidity from different aspects.Body non-rigidity makes the acceleration of the center of mass (C.M.) oscillate and fall behind the point where force is applied.Actual acceleration curves showed that the overall effect of body non-rigidity is an oscillation at about 7 Hz and a deviation of about 25%.To enhance body rigidity,better body restraints were introduced and a prototype based on linear acceleration method was built.Measurement experiment was carried out on ground on an air table.Three human subjects weighing 60-70 kg were measured.The average variance was 0.04 kg and the average measurement error was 0.4%.This study will provide reference for future development of China's own mass measurement device.YAN Hui LI LuMing HU ChunHua CHEN Hao HAO HongWei 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4:6

3Melon short internode(CmSi)encodes an ERECTA-like receptor kinase regulating stem elongation through auxin signaling显示文摘Plant height is one of the most important agronomic traits that directly determines plant architecture,and compact or dwarf plants can allow for increased planting density and land utilization as well as increased lodging resistance and economic yield.At least four dwarf/semidwarf genes have been identified in different melon varieties,but none of them have been cloned,and little is known about the molecular mechanisms underlying internode elongation in melon.Here,we report map-based cloning and functional characterization of the first semidwarf gene short internode(Cmsi)in melon,which encodes an ERECTA-like receptor kinase regulating internode elongation.Spatial-temporal expression analyses revealed that CmSI exhibited high expression in the vascular bundle of the main stem during internode elongation.The expression level of CmSI was positively correlated with stem length in the different melon varieties examined.Ectopic expression of CmSI in Arabidopsis and cucumber suggested CmSI as a positive regulator of internode elongation in both species.Phytohormone quantitation and transcriptome analysis showed that the auxin content and the expression levels of a number of genes involved in the auxin signaling pathway were altered in the semidwarf mutant,including several well-known auxin transporters,such as members of the ABCB family and PINFORMED genes.A melon polar auxin transport protein CmPIN2 was identified by protein–protein interaction assay as physically interacting with CmSI to modulate auxin signaling.Thus,CmSI functions in an auxin-dependent regulatory pathway to control internode elongation in melon.Our findings revealed that the ERECTA family gene CmSI regulates stem elongation in melon through auxin signaling,which can directly affect polar auxin transport.Sen Yang Kaige Zhang Huayu Zhu Xiaojing Zhang Wenkai Yan Nana Xu Dongming Liu Jianbin Hu Yufeng Wu Yiqun Weng Luming Yang 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2

6An integrated spectroscopic strategy to trace the geographical origins of emblic medicines: Application for the quality assessment of natural medicines显示文摘Emblic medicine is a popular natural source in the world due to its outstanding healthcare and therapeutic functions.Our preliminary results indicated that the quality of emblic medicines might have an apparent regional variation.A rapid and effective geographical traceability system has not been designed yet.To trace the geographical origins so that their quality can be controlled,an integrated spectroscopic strategy including spectral pretreatment,outlier diagnosis,feature selection,data fusion,and machine learning algorithm was proposed.A featured data matrix(245220)was successfully generated,and a carefully adjusted RF machine learning algorithm was utilized to develop the geographical traceability model.The results demonstrate that the proposed strategy is effective and can be generalized.Sensitivity(SEN),specificity(SPE)and accuracy(ACC)of 97.65%,99.85%and 97.63%for the calibrated set,as well as 100.00%predictive efficiency,were obtained using this spectroscopic analysis strategy.Our study has created an integrated analysis process for multiple spectral data,which can achieve a rapid,nondestructive and green quality detection for emblic medicines originating from seventeen geographical origins.Luming Qi Furong Zhong Yang Chen Shengnan Mao Zhuyun Yan Yuntong Ma 2020Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,4:1
7Nest-type NCM ■ Pt/C with oxygen capture character as advanced electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘A unique nest-type catalyst has been designed with a nest of oxygen capture surrounding catalytic Pt centers, which shows much promoted performance, on the base of Pt/C catalyst, for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). The nest is constructed with nitrogen-doped carbon matrix(NCM), derived from the controlled carbonization of PANI precursor, to cover Pt/C catalyst. The unique structure of the catalyst(denoted as NCM■ Pt/C) has many merits. Firstly, it can capture oxygen both in air and in acidic electrolyte. Compared with naked Pt/C, it is found that, in air, the oxygen concentration within the porous nest of NCM surrounding Pt/C particles is ~13 times higher than atmospheric oxygen concentration and, in acidic electrolyte, the concentration of activated oxygen over the catalyst NCM■ Pt/C rise to~1.9 times. Secondly, the NCM nest offers a special electronic modulation on Pt centers toward modified ORR kinetics and then catalytic performances. With these merits, compared with Pt/C, the NCM■ Pt/C catalyst shows 3.2 times higher turnover frequency value and 2.9 times enhanced specific activity for ORR with half-wave potential at 0.894 V. After 50,000 sweeping cycles, the NCM■ Pt/C catalyst retains~66% mass activity and still has advantages over the fresh Pt/C catalyst. 8Metal-organic frameworks-derived hierarchical ZnO structures as efficient sensing materials for formaldehyde detection显示文摘Semiconducting metal oxides have been considered as effective approach for designing highperformance chemical sensing materials.In this paper,a kind of metal-organic frameworks ZIF-8 was used as sacrificed template to prepare porous ZnO hollow nanocubes for the application in gas sensing.It is found that changing calcination temperature and solvent can greatly influence the morphology of the material,which finally affects the gas sensing performance.Acetylene-sensing properties of the sensors were investigated in detail.It can be clearly seen that the material used methanol as reaction solvent with the decomposition at 350℃for 2 h(ZnO-350-M)showed the optimal formaldehyde-sensing behaviors compared with other materials prepared in this experiment.The dynamic transients of the ZnO-350-M-based sensors demonstrated a high response value(about 10),fast response and recovery rate(4 s and 4 s,respectively)and good selectivity towards 100 ppm(part per million)formaldehyde as well as a low detectable limit(1 ppm).As exemplified for the sensing inve stigation towards formaldehyde,the porous ZnO hollow nanocubes showed a significantly improved chemical sensitivity due to the highly syne rgistic effects from the well exposed surfaces,defect states and the robust ZnO.Nan Zhang Luming Yan Yang Lu Yizhuo Fan Sijia Guo Samira Adimi Dali Liu Shengping Ruan 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8:1
9A FAULT DETECTION SENSOR FOR CIRCUIT AGING USING DOUBLE-EDGE-TRIGGERED FLIP-FLOP显示文摘In nanoscale technology, transistor aging is one of the most critical problems that impact on the reliability of circuits. Aging sensor is a good online way to detect the circuit aging, which performs during the operating time with no influence of the normal operation of circuits. In this paper, a Double-edge-triggered Detection Sensor for circuit Aging (DSDA) is proposed, which employs data signal of logic circuits as its clock to control the sampling process. The simulation is done by Hspice using 45 nm technology. The results show that this technique is not sensitive to the process variations. The worst case of the detection precision is more than 80% under the different process variations. 11Does weight loss affect the center of pressure of children with obesity: a follow-up study显示文摘Background:Children with obesity were found to show the greater postural instability compared to the normal-weighted children.However,it’s still unclear if their altered postural control ability would recover towards normal pat-tern after weight loss.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of weight loss on the center of pressure(COP)for obese children.Method:Totally 147 children were conducted a follow-up study in three years.A total number of 22 participants aged 7-13 years were recruited for their remission of obesity problem after 36 months.Their dynamic plantar pressure data were collected by Footscan pressure plate.The normalized time of four sub-phases,displacements and velocities of COP in anterior-posterior(AP)and medial-lateral(ML)directions were calculated to perform the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and paired sample t test for statistical analyses.Results:After weight loss,children’s normalized time of forefoot contact phase(FFCP)increased significantly,and their duration of flat foot phase(FFP)decreased significantly.They also exhibited the more medial and posterior ori-entated COP path after weight loss.In ML-direction,the COP displacement during FFP and FFPOP increased,and the COP velocity during FFPOP increased.In AP-direction,COP velocity during FFP and FFPOP increased.Conclusions:The findings indicated that weight loss would have effects on the COP characteristics and postural stability for obese children.COP trajectory can provide essential information for evaluating foot function.The findings may be useful for obese children,medical staff,and healthcare physician.Linshan Zhang Shiyang Yan Ruoyi Li Weihua Dan Luming Yang 2022Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2022,4,1:0

13Carbon nitride with encapsulated nickel for semi-hydrogenation of acetylene: pyridinic nitrogen is responsible for hydrogen dissociative adsorption显示文摘A new mechanism of catalyst has been demonstrated in this article. With the interaction between carbon nitride(CN) and encapsulated nickel, the CN in the catalyst has been endowed with new active sites for the adsorption and activation of hydrogen while nickel itself is physically isolated from the contact with reactive molecules. For the selective hydrogenation of acetylene in large amount of ethylene, the catalyst shows excellent ethylene selectivity than the nickel catalyst itself, which is almost totally unselective. Meanwhile, the CN itself is inactive for the reaction. The results of characterization demonstrate that pyridinic nitrogen doped in the carbon matrix should be the active sites for hydrogen dissociative adsorption. The theoretical calculations further confirm the results and provide with the detail in the electron transfer between nickel and CN in the catalyst. 14Frequency-tunable microwave quantum light source based on superconducting quantum circuits显示文摘A non-classical light source is essential for implementing a wide range of quantum information processing protocols,including quantum computing,networking,communication and metrology.In the microwave regime,propagating photonic qubits,which transfer quantum information between multiple superconducting quantum chips,serve as building blocks for large-scale quantum computers.In this context,spectral control of propagating single photons is crucial for interfacing different quantum nodes with varied frequencies and bandwidths.Here a deterministic microwave quantum light source was demonstrated based on superconducting quantum circuits that can generate propagating single photons,time-bin encoded photonic qubits and qudits.In particular,the frequency of the emitted photons can be tuned in situ as large as 200 MHz.Even though the internal quantum efficiency of the light source is sensitive to the working fre-quency,it is shown that the fidelity of the propagating photonic qubit can be well preserved with the time-bin encoding scheme.This work thus demonstrates a versatile approach to realizing a practical quantum light source for future distributed quantum computing.Yan Li Zhiling Wang Zenghui Bao Yukai Wu Jiahui Wang Jize Yang Haonan Xiong Yipu Song Hongyi Zhang Luming Duan 2023Chip2023,2,3:0
