2Release characteristics of mercury in chemical looping combustion of bituminous coal显示文摘This study evaluated the release characteristics of mercury from bituminous coal in chemical looping combustion(CLC)using Australian iron ore as the oxygen carrier in a fixed bed reactor.The effects of several parameters,such as temperature in the fuel reactor(FR)and air reactor(AR),gasification medium in the FR,and reaction atmosphere in the AR,on mercury release characteristics,were investigated.The mercury speciation and release amount in the FR and AR under different conditions were further explored.The results indicate that most of the mercury in coal was released in the FR,while the rest of it was released in the AR.Hg0 was found to be the major species in the released mercury.The results also indicate that a higher temperature in the FR led to an increase in the total mercury release amount and a decrease in Hg0 proportion.However,a higher temperature in the AR resulted in a decrease in the total mercury release amount and Hg 0 proportion.The increase in the H2O/CO2 ratio of gasification mediums in the FR was beneficial for the increase in the total mercury release amount and Hg 0 proportion.A higher O2 concentration in reaction atmosphere in AR had a negligible effect on the total mercury release amount,but a positive effect on Hg0 oxidization.Ling Ji Qianwen Wang Zhiyue Zhang Hao Wu Changsong Zhou Hongmin Yang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8:5
3The influence of intimacy on the ’iterative reactions’ during OX-ZEO process for aromatic production显示文摘The oxide-zeolite process provides a promising way for one-step production of aromatics from syngas,whereas the reasons for the dramatic effect of intimacy between oxide and zeolite in the composite catalyst on the product selectivity are still unclear. In order to explore the optimal intimacy and the essential influence factors, ZnCrOxcombined with ZSM-5 are employed to prepare the composite catalysts with different distances between the two components by changing the mixing methods. An aromatic selectivity of 74%(with CO conversion to be 16%) is achieved by the composite catalyst when the intimacy is in the range of nanometer. A so-called ‘iterative reactions’ mechanism of intermediates over oxides is then proposed and studied: the intermediate chemical can undergo a hydrogenation reaction on oxide.So the shorter the intermediates stay on oxide, the more of chance for C-C coupling takes place on zeolite to form aromatics. Moreover, the aero-environments of reaction is found to impact on the extent of iterative reaction as well. Therefore, when the intimacy between the two components changes, the extent of iterative reactions vary, resulting in alteration of product distribution. 4Influence of solution treatment on microstructure,mechanical and corrosion properties of Mg-4Zn alloy显示文摘The solution treatment parameters,mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of binary Mg-4Zn alloy were investigated.The results showed that after the solution treatment at 335℃ for 16 h,Mg-4Zn alloy had an ultimate tensile strength of 184.13 MPa and elongation of 9.43%.Furthermore,the corrosion resistance was evaluated by electrochemical measurements and immersion tests in 3.5%NaCl solution.The results revealed that the corrosion current density of the solution treatment Mg alloy was 11.2µA/cm^(−2),it was lower than 15.8µA/cm^(−2) for the as-cast Mg alloy under the same conditions,which was greatly associated with the micro-cathode effect of the second phases.Hongmin Jia Xiaohui Feng Yuansheng Yang 2015Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2015,3,3:4
5Effect of crystal orientation on corrosion behavior of directionally solidified Mg-4 wt% Zn alloy显示文摘Microstructure and crystallographic orientation of directionally solidified Mg-4 wt% Zn alloy were characterized by X-ray computed tomography(XCT) and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) in this study.Results reveal that Mg-4 wt% Zn alloy with dendritic microstructure exhibits typical {0002 } basal texture along growth direction. Based on this, the effect of grain orientation on corrosion behavior of directionally solidified Mg-4 wt% Zn alloy in 0.9 wt% NaCl solution was investigated. 6Nitrogen-doped hierarchically porous carbon spheres for low concentration CO_(2) capture显示文摘Synthesis of spherical carbon beads with effective CO_2 capture capability is highly desirable for large scale application of CO2 sorption, but remains challenging. Herein, a facile and efficient strategy to prepare nitrogen-doped hierarchically porous carbon spheres was developed via co-pyrolyzation of poly(vinylidene chloride) and melamine in alginate gel beads. In this approach, melamine not only serves as the nitrogen precursor, but also acts as a template for the macropores structures. The nitrogen contents in the hierarchically porous carbon spheres reach a high level, ranging from 11.8 wt% to 14.7 wt%, as the melamine amount increases. 7Identification of relevant active sites and a mechanism study for reverse water gas shift reaction over Pt/CeO_2 catalysts显示文摘Reverse water gas shift(RWGS) reaction can serve as a pivotal stage in the CO_2 conversion processes,which is vital for the utilization of CO_2.In this study,RWGS reaction was performed over Pt/CeO_2 catalysts at the temperature range of 200-500℃ under ambient pressure.Compared with pure CeO_2,Pt/CeO_2catalysts exhibited superior RWGS activity at lower reaction temperature.Meanwhile,the calculated TOF and E_a values are approximately the same over these Pt/CeO_2 catalysts pretreated under various calcination conditions,indicating that the RWGS reaction is not affected by the morphologies of anchored Pt nanoparticles or the primary crystallinity of CeO_2.TPR and XPS results indicated that the incorporation of Pt promoted the reducibility of CeO_2 support and remarkably increased the content of Ce^(3+) sites on the catalyst surface.Furthermore,the CO TPSR-MS signal under the condition of pure CO_2 flow over Pt/CeO_2catalyst is far lower than that under the condition of adsorbed CO_2 with H_2-assisted flow,revealing that CO_2 molecules adsorbed on Ce^(3+) active sites have difficult in generating CO directly.Meanwhile,the adsorbed CO_2 with the assistance of H_2 can form formate species easily over Ce^(3+) active sites and then decompose into Ce^(3+)-CO species for CO production,which was identified by in-situ FTIR.Xiaodong Chen Xiong Su Binglian Liang Xiaoli Yang Xinyi Ren Hongmin Duan Yanqiang Huang Tao Zhang 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,6:3
8Extraction mechanism of rare earths from chloride acidic solution with ammonium-bifunctionalized ionic liquid extractants显示文摘A series of ammonium-bifunctionalized ionic liquid extractants(ammonium-Bif-ILEs) combined with a number of anions, including carboxylic acids and 1,3-diketonates, have been prepared and studied in this report. Their extraction behavior and properties toward rare earth ions(REs(Ⅲ)) are systematically investigated in chloride media as a function of important parameters such as aqueous phase p H, salting-out agent concentrations, and extraction temperature. The separation performance of ammonium-Bif-ILEs toward REs(Ⅲ) are systematically discussed. The results demonstrate that ammonium-Bif-ILEs have a synergistic effect between the cation and anions in separation of REs(Ⅲ). The influences of different anions on separation factor(b) values are further studied. 12Shape-selective alkylation of benzene with ethylene over a core–shell ZSM-5@MCM-41 composite material显示文摘A series of ZSM-5@MCM-41 core-shell composite materials prepared via a multi-cycle-sol-gel coating strategy is investigated as the catalyst for benzene alkylation with ethylene,in which both ethylbenzene and para-diethylbenzene(p-DEB)are aimed as the target products.With multi-cycle-sol-gel coating,the external acid sites on the samples are gradually passivated by the inert MCM-41 shell.As a result,the shape selectivity to p-DEB is greatly enhanced.Nevertheless,the coating of mesoporous MCM-41 shell on ZSM-5 accelerates deactivation of the catalyst only due to the dilution effect of ZSM-5 content in the catalyst at the same space velocity,which is a reason that core-shell ZSM-5@MCM-41 will potentially be a practical catalyst in shape selective alkylation of benzene.In order to enhance the yield of p-DEB on ZSM-5@MCM-41,the reaction conditions at the fixed bed reactor including temperature,the molar rate of benzene to ethylene and GHSV,are also optimized.Zhenhao Shen Chongwei Ma Darui Wang Junlin He Hongmin Sun Zhirong Zhu Weimin Yang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,9:1

16The Effect of Curcumin on Proliferation and Apoptosis in LNCaP Prostate Cancer Cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of curcumin on proliferation and apop-tosis in the prostate cancer LNCaP cell line. METHODS The AXSYMTM system luciferase method was used to examine the effect of various concentratious of curcumin on the content of prostate specific antigen (PSA) in prostate cancer LNCaP cells. A pGL3-PSA luciferase expression vector, containing 640 bp DNA of the PSA gene 5' -promoter region was constructed and transfected into the LNCaP cells with lipofectin. By measuring luciferase activity, the effect of 10 μmol/L, 20 μmol/L, 30 and 40 μmol/L curcumin on the promoter was studied. Effects on cell growth and apoptosis were analyzed by microscopy, the MTT colorimetric assay and flow cytometry. Western-blotting was used to measure expression of the androgen receptor (AR) in the LNCaP cells treated with different concentrations of curcumin. RESULTS The results showed that the expression of PSA was inhibited as curcumin reduced the activity of luciferase. Curcumin also caused a sigificant concentration-dependent decrease in AR expession measured by Western -blotting. Cell growth was inhibited and apoptosis was induced. CONCLUSION By inhibiting AR expression, curcumin reduced the function of the PSA promoter and inhibited PSA protein expression.
