1Mechanisms of hydrocephalus after intraventricular haemorrhage in adults显示文摘Intraventricular haemorrhage(IVH)is defined as the eruption of blood in the cerebroventricular system and occurs mostly secondary to intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)in adults.Hydrocephalus is a severe complication of IVH that can serve as an independent predictor of increased mortality.In this mini-review,we focus on the mechanisms of hydrocephalus after adult IVH,including blood-clot blockage,barrier impairment,inflammation and blood components,and attempt to reconcile the current research findings into a unified framework.We expect our theoretical framework to help guide future clinical and basic research leading to improved monitoring and intervention for IVH and subsequent hydrocephalus.Yaoyao Bu Meiyuan Chen Ting Gao Xiao Wang Xuting Li Feng Gao 2016Stroke & Vascular Neurology2016,1,1:4
2Ultrafast Synthesis of Metal-Layered Hydroxides in a Dozen Seconds for High-Performance Aqueous Zn(Micro-)Battery显示文摘Efficient synthesis of transition metal hydroxides on conductive substrate is essential for enhancing their merits in industrialization of energy storage field.However,most of the synthetic routes at present mainly rely on traditional bottom-up method,which involves tedious steps,time-consuming treatments,or additional alkaline media,and is unfavorable for high-efficiency production.Herein,we present a facile,ultrafast and general avenue to synthesize transition metal hydroxides on carbon substrate within 13 s by Joule-heating method.With high reaction kinetics caused by the instantaneous high temperature,seven kinds of transition metal-layered hydroxides(TM-LDHs)are formed on carbon cloth.Therein,the fastest synthesis rate reaches~0.46 cm^(2)s^(-1).Density functional theory calculations further demonstrate the nucleation energy barriers and potential mechanism for the formation of metal-based hydroxides on carbon substrates.This efficient approach avoids the use of extra agents,multiple steps,and long production time and endows the LDHs@carbon cloth with outstanding flexibility and machinability,showing practical advantages in both common and micro-zinc ion-based energy storage devices.To prove its utility,as a cathode in rechargeable aqueous alkaline Zn(micro-)battery,the NiCo LDH@carbon cloth exhibits a high energy density,superior to most transition metal LDH materials reported so far.Xiangyang Li Fangshuai Chen Bo Zhao Shaohua Zhang Xiaoyu Zheng Ying Wang Xuting Jin Chunlong Dai Jiaqi Wang Jing Xie Zhipan Zhang Yang Zhao 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,3:2

5Adaptive Handover Decision Inspired By Biological Mechanism in Vehicle Ad-hoc Networks显示文摘In vehicle ad-hoc networks(VANETs),the proliferation of wireless communication will give rise to the heterogeneous access environment where network selection becomes significant.Motivated by the self-adaptive paradigm of cellular attractors,this paper regards an individual communication as a cell,so that we can apply the revised attractor selection model to induce each connected vehicle.Aiming at improving the Quality of Service(QoS),we presented the bio-inspired handover decision-making mechanism.In addition,we employ the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)for any vehicle to choose an access network.This paper proposes a novel framework where the bio-inspired mechanism is combined with TOPSIS.In a dynamic and random mobility environment,our method achieves the coordination of performance of heterogeneous networks by guaranteeing the efficient utilization and fair distribution of network resources in a global sense.The experimental results confirm that the proposed method performs better when compared with conventional schemes.Xuting Duan Jingyi Wei Daxin Tian Jianshan Zhou Haiying Xia Xin Li Kunxian Zheng 2019Computers, Materials & Continua2019,,9:1
6P-doped CoSe_(2)nanoparticles embedded in 3D honeycomb-like carbon network for long cycle-life Na-ion batteries显示文摘We report for the first time a Na-ion battery anode material composed of P-doped CoSe_(2)nanoparticles(P-CoSe_(2))with the size of 5–20 nm that are uniformly embed in a 3 D porous honeycomb-like carbon network.High rate capability and cycling stability are achieved simultaneously.The honeycomb-like carbon network is rationally designed to support high electrical conductivity,rapid Na-ion diffusion as well as the accommodation of the volume expansion from the active P-CoSe_(2)nanoparticles.In particular,heteroatom P-doping within CoSe_(2)introduces stronger P-Co bonds and additional P-Se bonds that significantly improve the structure stability of P-CoSe_(2)for highly stable sodiation/desodiation over long-term cycling.P-doping also improves the electrical conductivity of the CoSe_(2)nanoparticles,leading to highly elevated electrochemical kinetics to deliver high specific capacities at high current densities.Benefiting from the unique nanostructure and atomic-level P-doping,the P-CoSe_(2)(2:1)/C anode delivers an excellent cycle stability with a specific capacity of 206.9 mA h g^(-1)achieved at 2000 mA g^(-1)after 1000 cycles.In addition,this material can be synthesized using a facile pyrolysis and selenization/phosphorization approach.This study provides new opportunities of heteroatom doping as an effective method to improve the cycling stability of Na-ion anode materials.Jiajia Ye Xuting Li Guang Xia Guanghao Gong Zhiqiang Zheng Chuanzhong Chen Cheng Hu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,18:0
7Applications of intelligent computing in vehicular networks显示文摘Purpose–This paper aims to introduce vehicular network platform,routing and broadcasting methods and vehicular positioning enhancement technology,which are three aspects of the applications of intelligent computing in vehicular networks.From this paper,the role of intelligent algorithm in thefield of transportation and the vehicular networks can be understood.Design/methodology/approach–In this paper,the authors introduce three different methods in three layers of vehicle networking,which are data cleaning based on machine learning,routing algorithm based on epidemic model and cooperative localization algorithm based on the connect vehicles.Findings–In Section 2,a novel classification-based framework is proposed to efficiently assess the data quality and screen out the abnormal vehicles in database.In Section 3,the authors canfind when traffic conditions varied from freeflow to congestion,the number of message copies increased dramatically and the reachability also improved.The error of vehicle positioning is reduced by 35.39%based on the CV-IMM-EKF in Section 4.Finally,it can be concluded that the intelligent computing in the vehicle network system is effective,and it will improve the development of the car networking system.Originality/value–This paper reviews the research of intelligent algorithms in three related areas of vehicle networking.In thefield of vehicle networking,these research results are conducive to promoting data processing and algorithm optimization,and it may lay the foundation for the new methods.Daxin Tian Weiqiang Gong Wenhao Liu Xuting Duan Yukai Zhu Chao Liu Xin Li 2018Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles2018,1,2:0
8Recent progress and challenges in interdigital microbatteries:Fabrication, functionalization and integration显示文摘Currently,the increasing demands for portable,implantable,and wearable electronics have triggered the interest in miniaturized energy storage devices.Different from conventional energy storage devices,interdigital microbatteries(IMBs) are free of separators and prepared on a single substrate,potentially achieving a short ionic diffusion path and better performance.Meanwhile,they can be easily fabricated and integrated into on-chip miniaturized electronics,holding the promise to provide long-lasting power for advanced microelectronic devices.To date,while many seminal works have been reviewed the topic of microbatteries,there is no work that systematically summarizes the development of IMBs of high energy density and stable voltage platforms from fabrication,functionalization to integration.The current review focuses on the most recent progress in IMBs,discussing advanced micromachining techniques with compatible features to construct high-performance IMBs with smart functions and intelligent integrated systems.The future opportunities and challenges of IMBs are also highlighted,calling for more efforts in this dynamic and fast-growing research field.Li Song Xuting Jin Chunlong Dai Yuyang Han Jiatao Zhang Yang Zhao Zhipan Zhang Liangti Qu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0
9Vaspin alleviates pathological cardiac hypertrophy by regulating autophagy-dependent myocardial senescence显示文摘Background:Visceral adipose tissue-derived serine protease inhibitor(vaspin),a secretory adipokine,protects against insulin resistance.Recent studies have demonstrated that serum vaspin levels are decreased in patients with coronary artery disease and that vaspin protects against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and atherosclerosis.However,it remains unclear whether vaspin exerts specific effects on pathological cardiac hypertrophy.Methods:An in vivo study was conducted using a cardiac hypertrophy model established by subcutaneous injection of isoproterenol(ISO)in C57BL/6 and vaspin-ko mice.Rapamycin was administered intraperitoneally to mice,for further study.H9c2 cells and neonatal rat ventricular myocytes(NRVMs)were treated with ISO to induce hypertrophy.Human vaspin fusion protein,the proteasome inhibitor MG132,and chloroquine diphosphate were used for further mechanistic studies.Results:Here,we provide the first evidence that vaspin knockdown results in markedly exaggerated cardiac hypertrophy,fibrosis,and cardiomyocyte senescence in mice treated with ISO.Conversely,the administration of exogenous recombinant human vaspin protected NRVMs in vitro against ISO-induced hypertrophy and senescence.Furthermore,vaspin significantly potentiated the ISO-induced decrease in autophagy.Both rapamycin and chloroquine diphosphate regulated autophagy in vivo and in vitro,respectively,and participated in vaspin-mediated cardioprotection.Moreover,the PI3K-AKT-mTOR pathway plays a critical role in vaspin-mediated autophagy in cardiac tissues and NRVMs.Our data showed that vaspin downregulated the p85 and p110 subunits of PI3K by linking p85 and p110 to NEDD4L-mediated ubiquitination degradation.Conclusion:Our results show,for the first time,that vaspin functions as a critical regulator that alleviates pathological cardiac hypertrophy by regulating autophagy-dependent myocardial senescence,providing potential preventive and therapeutic targets for pathological cardiac hypertrophy.Haiying Rui Huaxiang Yu Dan Zou Kai Chi Ping Xu Xiaoshuai Song Lulu Liu Xuting Wu Jinxin Wang Li Xue 2024Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2024,4,1:0
10Blue LED promotes the chemosensitivity of human hepatoma to Sorafenib by inducing DNA damage显示文摘Background:Phototherapies based on sunlight,infrared,ultraviolet,visible,and laser-based treatments present advantages like high curative effects,small invasion,and negligible adverse reactions in cancer treatment.We aimed to explore the potential therapeutic effects of blue light emitting diode(LED)in human hepatoma cells and decipher the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms.Methods:Wound healing and transwell assays were employed to probe the inhibition of the invasion and migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cells in the presence of blue LED.The sphere-forming test was used to evaluate the effect of LED blue light irradiation on cancer stem cell properties.Immunofluorescence and western blotting were used to detect the changes inγ-H2AX.The Cell Counting Kit-8 assay,5-ethynyl-2′-deoxyuridine staining,and colony formation assay were used to detect the combined effect of blue LED and sorafenib on cell proliferation inhibition.Results:We demonstrated that the irradiation of blue LED light in hepatoma cells could lead to cell proliferation reduction along with the increase of cell apoptosis.Simultaneously,blue LED irradiation also markedly suppressed the migration and invasion ability of human hepatoma cells.Sphere formation analysis further revealed the decreased cancer stemness of hepatoma cells upon blue LED irradiation.Mechanistically,blue LED irradiation significantly promoted the expression of the phosphorylation of the core histone protein H2AX(γ-H2AX),a sensitive molecular marker of DNA damage.In addition,we found that the combined treatment of blue LED irradiation and sorafenib increased cancer cell sensitivity to sorafenib.Conclusion:Collectively,we demonstrated that blue LED irradiation exhibited anti-tumor effects on liver cancer cells by inducing DNA damage and could enhance chemosensitivity of cancer cells,which represents a potential approach for human hepatoma treatment.TONG WANG JINHUAN HONG JIAJIE XIE QIAN LIU JINRUI YUE XUTING HE SHIYU GE TAO LI GUOXIN LIU BENZHI CAI LINQIANG LI YE YUAN 2023BIOCELL2023,47,8:0
11The quality control and hypoglycemic effect of Cinnamomi Cortex aqueous extract显示文摘Cinnamomi Cortex was a material as medicinal and edible resources and it has been demonstrated that Cinnamomi Cortex aqueous extract(CCAE)possess hypoglycemic effect,but there were no active compounds identified as quality standard of CCAE to be used in the investigate of hypoglycemic activity.Hence,in this study,the quality standard and the hypoglycemic effect of CCAE were investigated.Cinnamaldehyde and coumarin as the quality control in CCAE were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method.The results showed that the average yield of extraction was 10.06%.The concentration of coumarin was linear with peak area ranging from 0.02–1.00μg/mL(r=0.9996,n=6)and that of cinnamaldehyde also demonstrated a good linear relationship with peak area in the range of 1.05–52.50μg/mL(r=0.9997,n=6).The average recovery rate of coumarin and cinnamaldehyde was 99.42%and 100.11%,respectively.The investigation of hypoglycemic effect revealed that CCAE could improve weight loss,lower liver and pancreas indices,improve organ damage caused by diabetes,and lower fasting blood glucose,glycosylated serum protein(GSP)and total cholesterol(TC)levels.The results showed that CCAE can reduce fasting blood glucose and blood lipid levels in diabetic mice.Xuting Hao Ziheng Jin Ruiyu Gao Shiming Li Changqin Li Lijun Liu Jinmei Wang 2024Journal of Future Foods2024,4,2:0
12Phosphorus-doped iron-nitrogen-carbon catalyst with pentacoordinated single atom sites for efficient oxygen reduction显示文摘Single-atomic Fe-N4 is the well-acknowledged active site in iron-nitrogen-carbon(Fe-N-C)material for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).The adjusting of the electronic distribution of Fe-N4 is promising for further enhancing the performance of the Fe-N-C catalyst.Herein,a phosphorus(P)-doped Fe-N-C catalyst with penta-coordinated single atom sites(FeNPC)is reported for efficient oxygen reduction.Fe K-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS)verifies the coordination environment of single Fe atom,while density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the penta-coordination and neighboring doped P atoms can simultaneously change the electronic distribution of Fe-N_(4)and its adsorption strength of key intermediates,reducing the reactionfree energy of the potential-limiting step.Electrochemical tests validate the remarkable intrinsic ORR activity of FeNPC in alkaline media(a half-wave potential(E_(1/2))of 0.904 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)and limited current density(JL)of 6.23 mA·cm^(−2))and an enhanced ORR performance in neutral(E_(1/2)=0.751 V,J_(L)=5.27 mA·cm^(−2))and acidic media(E_(1/2)=0.735 V,JL=5.82 mA·cm^(−2))with excellent stability,highlighting the benefits of optimizing the local environment of singleatomic Fe-N4.Lili Fan Xiaofei Wei Xuting Li Zhanning Liu Mengfei Li Shuo Liu Zixi Kang Fangna Dai Xiaoqing Lu Daofeng Sun 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
