1Enhanced dynamic deformability and strengthening effect via twinning and microbanding in high density NiCoFeCrMoW high-entropy alloys显示文摘High density alloys with enhanced deformability and strength are urgently required in energy, military and nuclear industries, etc. In this work,we present a new kind of NiCoFeCrMoW high entropy alloys(HEAs)which possess higher densities and sound velocities than copper. We systematically investigate the phase structure,quasi-static tensile, dynamic compression and related deformation mechanism of these HEAs.It is shown that single FCC or FCC+μdual phases were formed in the HEAs depending on Mo and W content and annealing temperature.Excellent quasi-static tensile and dynamic compression properties have been achieved for these HEAs,e.g.Ni_(30)Co_(30)Fe_(21)Cr_(10)W_(9)HEA annealed at 1573 K exhibited a yield and ultimate tensile strength and elongation of~364 MPa,~866 MPa and~32%,respectively,in quasi-static test;a yield strength of~710 MPa and no fracture under the dynamic strain rate of 4100 s^(-1).Superior strain rate sensitivity(SRS)of yield strength than that of previously reported FCC HEAs have been evidenced. The dynamic stress-strain constitutive relation can be described by the modified Johnson-Cook model. As for the dynamic deformation mechanism,it is envisaged that the regulation of stacking fault energy and Peierls barrier in current HEAs resulted in occurrences of abundant nanoscale deformation twins and microbands during high strain rate compression. The synergistic microbanding and twinning effectively contributes to the enhanced dynamic deformability and strengthening effect.Besides, the interactions of dislocations with precipitates, stacking faults(SFs)with twins, and between SFs also contribute to extraordinary work-hardening capacity.Xuli Liu Yidong Wu Yansong Wang Jinbin Chen Rui Bai Lei Gao Zhe Xu William Yi Wang Chengwen Tan Xidong Hui 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32:1

3Fast modeling of gravity gradients from topographic surface data using GPU parallel algorithm显示文摘The gravity gradient is a secondary derivative of gravity potential, containing more high-frequency information of Earth’s gravity field.Gravity gradient observation data require deducting its prior and intrinsic parts to obtain more variational information.A model generated from a topographic surface database is more appropriate to represent gradiometric effects derived from near-surface mass,as other kinds of data can hardly reach the spatial resolution requirement. The rectangle prism method, namely an analytic integration of Newtonian potential integrals,is a reliable and commonly used approach to modeling gravity gradient, whereas its computing efficiency is extremely low.A modified rectangle prism method and a graphical processing unit(GPU)parallel algorithm were proposed to speed up the modeling process. The modified method avoided massive redundant computations by deforming formulas according to the symmetries of prisms’integral regions, and the proposed algorithm parallelized this method’s computing process. The parallel algorithm was compared with a conventional serial algorithm using 100 elevation data in two topographic areas(rough and moderate terrain).Modeling differences between the two algorithms were less than 0.1 E,which is attributed to precision differences between single-precision and double-precision float numbers. The parallel algorithm showed computational efficiency approximately 200 times higher than the serial algorithm in experiments, demonstrating its effective speeding up in the modeling process.Further analysis indicates that both the modified method and computational parallelism through GPU contributed to the proposed algorithm’s performances in experiments.Xuli Tan Qingbin Wang Jinkai Feng Yan Huang Ziyan Huang 2021Geodesy and Geodynamics2021,12,4:0
4Programmable dual responsive system reconstructing nerve interaction with small-diameter tissue-engineered vascular grafts and inhibiting intimal hyperplasia in diabetes显示文摘Small-diameter tissue-engineered vascular grafts(sdTEVGs)with hyperglycemia resistance have not been constructed. The intimal hyperplasia caused by hyperglycemia remains problem to hinder the patency of sdTEVGs.Here, inspired by bionic regulation of nerve on vascular,we found the released neural exosomes could inhibit the abnormal phenotype transformation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs).The transformation was a prime culprit causing the intimal hyperplasia of sdTEVGs.To address this concern,sdTEVGs were modified with an on-demand programmable dual-responsive system of ultrathin hydrogels. An external primary Reactive Oxygen Species(ROS)-responsive Netrin-1 system was initially triggered by local inflammation to induce nerve remolding of the sdTEVGs overcoming the difficulty of nerve regeneration under hyperglycemia. Then, the internal secondary ATP-responsive DENND1A(guanine nucleotide exchange factor)system was turned on by the neurotransmitter ATP from the immigrated nerve fibers to stimulate effective release of neural exosomes. The results showed nerve fibers grow into the sdTEVGs in diabetic rats 30 days after transplantation. At day 90,the abnormal VSMCs phenotype was not detected in the sdTEVGs,which maintained long-time patency without intima hyperplasia. Our study provides new insights to construct vascular grafts resisting hyperglycemia damage.Yanzhao Li Yeqin Wang Fangchao Xue Xuli Feng Zhaojing Ba Junjie Chen Zhenhua Zhou Yanhong Wang Ge Guan Guanyuan Yang Ziwei Xi Hao Tian Yong Liu Ju Tan Gang Li Xiewan Chen Mingcan Yang Wen Chen Chuhong Zhu Wen Zeng 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,1:0
