1Revisiting the role of delta-1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate synthetase in drought-tolerant crop breeding显示文摘The delta-1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate synthetase(P5CS)gene exercises a protective function in stressed plants.However,the relationship between proline accumulation caused by P5CS and abiotic stress tolerance in plants is not always clear,as P5CS overexpression has been reported to repress plant growth under normal conditions in several reports.We re-evaluated the role of P5CS in drought-tolerant rice breeding by expressing the AtP5CS1 and feedback-inhibition-removed AtP5CS1(AtP5CS1^(F128A))genes under the regulation of an ABA-inducible promoter to avoid the potential side effects of P5CS overexpression under normal conditions.ABA-inducible AtP5CS1 and AtP5CS1^(F128A) increased seedling growth in a nutrient solution(under osmotic stress)and grain yield in pot plants.However,the evidently deleterious effects of AtP5CS1 on grain quality,tiller number,and grain yield in the field indicated the unsuitability of P5CS for drought-tolerance breeding.Xuanjun Feng Yue Hu Weixiao Zhang Rongqian Xie Huarui Guan Hao Xiong Li Jia Xuemei Zhang Hanmei Zhou Dan Zheng Ying Wen Qingjun Wang Fengkai Wu Jie Xu Yanli Lu 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,4:2

4Nanoengineered sonosensitive platelets for synergistically augmented sonodynamic tumor therapy by glutamine deprivation and cascading thrombosis显示文摘Ultrasound(US)-activated sonodynamic therapy(SDT)stands for a distinct antitumor modality because of its attractive characteristics including intriguing noninvasiveness,desirable safety,and high tissue penetration depth,which,unfortunately,suffers from compromised therapeutic efficacy due to cancer cell-inherent adaptive mechanisms,such as glutathione(GSH)neutralization response to reactive oxygen species(ROS),and glutamine addictive properties of tumors.In this work,we developed a biological sonosensitive platelet(PLT)pharmacytes for favoring US/GSH-responsive combinational therapeutic of glutamine deprivation and augmented SDT.The amino acid transporter SLC6A14 blockade agentα-methyl-DL-tryptophan(α-MT)-loaded and MnO_(2)-coated porphyrinic metal-organic framework(MOF)nanoparticles were encapsulated in the PLTs through the physical adsorption of electrostatic attraction and the intrinsic endocytosis of PLTs.When the sonosensitive PLT pharmacytes reached tumor sites through their natural tendencies to TME,US stimulated the PLTs-loaded porphyrinic MOF to generate ROS,resulting in morphological changes of the PLTs and the release of nanoparticles.Subsequently,intracellular high concentration of GSH and extracellular spatio-temporal controlled US irradiation programmatically triggered the release ofα-MT,which enabled the synergistically amplified SDT by inducing amino acid starvation,inhibiting mTOR,and mediating ferroptosis.In addition,US stimulation achieved the targeted activation of PLTs at tumor vascular site,which evolved from circulating PLTs to dendritic PLTs,effectively blocking the blood supply of tumors through thrombus formation,and revealing the encouraging potential to facilitate tumor therapeutics.Liqiang Zhou Wei Feng Yuhang Mao Yu Chen Xuanjun Zhang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,6:0
5Theory, Technology and Practice of Unconventional Petroleum Geology显示文摘0 INTRODUCTION The breakthroughs in unconventional petroleum have a great impact on world petroleum industry and innovation in petroleum geology(Dou et al,2022;Jia,2017;Zou et al.,2015b,2014a;Yerkin,2012;Pollastro,2007;Schmoker,1995).The exploration and development evolution from conventional petroleum to unconventional petroleum and more and more frequent industrial activities of exploring petroleum inside sources kitchen have deepened theoretical understanding of unconventional petroleum geology and promoted technical research and development(Jia et al.,2021,2017;Jin et al.,2021;Zhao W Z et al.,2020;Ma Y S et al.,2018,2012;Zou et al.,2018b,2016,2009;Dai et al.,2012).We have introduced and extended the theory of continuous hydrocarbon accumulation since 2008 and published several papers/books(in Chinese and English)with respect to unconventional petroleum geology since 2009,basically forming the theoretical framework for this discipline(Yang et al.,2022a,2021a,2019a,,2015a;Zou et al.,2019c,2017b,2014a,,2013a).In this paper,we present the background of unconventional petroleum geology,review the latest theoretical and technological progress in unconventional petroleum geology,introduce relevant thinking and practices in China,and explore the pathway of unconventional petroleum revolution and multi-energy coordinated development in super energy basins,hopefully to promote the unconventional petroleum geology and industry development.Caineng Zou Zhi Yang Guosheng Zhang Rukai Zhu Shizhen Tao Xuanjun Yuan Lianhua Hou Dazhong Dong Qiulin Guo Yan Song Qiquan Ran Zhen Qiu Songtao Wu Feng Ma Bin Bai Lan Wang Bo Xiong Songqi Pan Hanlin Liu Xiaoni Wang 2023Journal of Earth Science2023,34,4:0
