| 1 | Comparison of dynamic adsorption/desorption characteristics of toluene on different porous materials显示文摘Four different types of adsorbents, SBA-15, MCM-41, NaY and SiO2, were used to study the dynamic adsorption/desorption of toluene. To further investigate the influence of pore structure on its adsorption performance, two SBA-15 samples with different microspores were also selected. It is shown that microporous material NaY has the largest adsorption capacity of 0.2873 mL/g, and the amorphous SiO2 exhibits the least capacity of 0.1003 mL/g. MCM-41 also shows a lower break through capacity in spite of the relatively small pore diameter, because it can not provide the necessary small geometric confinement for the tiny adsorbates. However, the mesoporous SBA-15 silica with certain micropore volume shows relatively higher adsorption capacity than that of MCM-41 silica. The presence of micropores directly leads to an increase in the dynamic adsorption capacity of toluene. Although NaY has the highest adsorption capacity for toluene, its complete desorption temperature for toluene is high (> 350°C), which limits its wide application. On the contrary, mesoporous silica materials exhibits a good desorption performance for volatile organic compounds at lower temperatures. Among these materials mesoporous SBA-15 samples, with a larger amount micropores and a lower desorption temperature, are a potentially interesting adsorbent for the removal of volatile organic compounds. | 5 | The diagnostic value of tumor abnormal protein and high sensitivity C reactive protein in screening for endometrial cancer with endometrial thickness less than 8 mm显示文摘Objective This study aimed to combine tumor abnormal protein(TAP) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) level detection to diagnose endometrial cancer in patients with endometrial thickness less than 8 mm, and to provide a reference for clinical screening and diagnosis. Methods Clinical data from 19 cases of endometrial cancer, diagnosed on the basis of pathological findings, were collected from September 2014 to December 2015. The inclusion criteria were as follows: the patients were first diagnosed with endometrial thickness less than 8 mm and were all in menopause. Perimenopausal patients(n = 26) with uterine fibroids seen during the same period were selected as a control group. Serum TAP and hs-CRP levels of the patients in the two groups were simultaneously determined on admission. Results We found that both TAP and hs-CRP levels in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group [(182.95 ± 72.14) μm^2 vs.(133.19 ± 55.18) μm^2, P = 0.019;(7.52 ± 19.03) mg/L vs.(1.66 ± 2.31) mg/L, P = 0.136]. The sensitivity of TAP for the diagnosis of endometrial cancer was 73.68%, the specificity was 69.23%, and the Youden index was 0.4291. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of hs-CRP was 15.79% and 100%, respectively, and the Youden index was 0.1579. After plotting the receiver operating characteristics curves, the optimal cut-off value for TAP in diagnosing endometrial cancer was found to be 160.662 μm^2 and that for hs-CRP was 1.07 mg/L. | 6 | In-situ construction of a Mg-modified interface to guide uniform lithium deposition for stable all-solid-state batteries显示文摘Uniform lithium(Li)deposition in all-solid-state Li metal batteries is greatly influenced by the anode/electrolyte interface.Herein,a Mg-modified interface was constructed via the simple in-situ electrochemical reduction of Mg^(2+)from Mg(TFSI)_(2) in polyethylene oxide(PEO)and a Li bis(trifluoromethane)sulfoni mide(Li TFSI)formulae.As confirmed by cryogenic transmission electron microscopy,the anode/electrolyte interface exhibited hybrids consisting of crystalline Mg,Li_(2)O,and Li dots embedded in an amorphous polymer electrolyte.The crystalline Mg dots guided the uniform Li nucleation and growth,inducing a smoother anode/electrolyte interface compared with the pristine electrolyte.With 1 wt%Mg(TFSI)_(2) in the PEO-Li TFSI electrolyte,the Mg-modified electrolyte enabled the Li/Li symmetric cells with cycling performance of over 1700 and 1400 h at current densities of 0.1 and 0.2 m A cm^(-2),respectively.Moreover,the full LFP/Li cells using the novel Mg-modified electrolyte delivered a cycling lifespan of over 450 cycles with negligible capacity loss. | Tiefeng Liu Jiale Zheng Hualiang Hu Ouwei Sheng Zhijin Ju Gongxun Lu Yujing Liu Jianwei Nai Yao Wang Wenkui Zhang Xinyong Tao | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4: | 3 |
| 7 | Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARSCoV-2)membrane(M)protein inhibits type I and III interferon production by targeting RIG-I/MDA-5 signaling显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),has quickly spread worldwide and has affected more than 10 million individuals.A typical feature of COVID-19 is the suppression of type I and III interferon(IFN)-mediated antiviral immunity.However,the molecular mechanism by which SARS-CoV-2 evades antiviral immunity remains elusive.Here,we reported that the SARS-CoV-2 membrane(M)protein inhibits the production of type I and III IFNs induced by the cytosolic dsRNA-sensing pathway mediated by RIG-I/MDA-5–MAVS signaling.In addition,the SARS-CoV-2 M protein suppresses type I and III IFN induction stimulated by SeV infection or poly(I:C)transfection.Mechanistically,the SARS-CoV-2 M protein interacts with RIG-I,MAVS,and TBK1,thus preventing the formation of the multiprotein complex containing RIG-I,MAVS,TRAF3,and TBK1 and subsequently impeding the phosphorylation,nuclear translocation,and activation of IRF3.Consequently,ectopic expression of the SARS-CoV-2 M protein facilitates the replication of vesicular stomatitis virus.Taken together,these results indicate that the SARS-CoV-2 M protein antagonizes type I and III IFN production by targeting RIG-I/MDA-5 signaling,which subsequently attenuates antiviral immunity and enhances viral replication.This study provides insight into the interpretation of SARS-CoV-2-induced antiviral immune suppression and illuminates the pathogenic mechanism of COVID-19. | Yi Zheng Meng-Wei Zhuang Lulu Han Jing Zhang Mei-Ling Nan Peng Zhan Dongwei Kang Xinyong Liu Chengjiang Gao Pei-Hui Wang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 3 |

| 9 | Solid polymer electrolytes in all-solid-state lithium metal batteries:From microstructures to properties显示文摘All-solid-state lithium(Li)metal batteries(ASSLMBs)are considered one of the most promising secondary batteries due to their high theoretical capacity and high safety performance.However,low room-temperature ionic conductivity and poor interfacial stability are two key factors affecting the practical application of ASSLMBs,and our understanding of the mechanisms behind these key problems from microscopic perspective is still limited.In this review,the mechanisms and advanced characterization techniques of ASSLMBs are summarized to correlate the microstructures and properties.Firstly,we summarize the challenges faced by solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)in ASSLMBs,such as the low roomtemperature ionic conductivity and the poor interfacial stability.Secondly,several typical improvement methods of polymer ASSLMBs are discussed,including composite SPEs,ultra-thin SPEs,SPEs surface modification and Li anode surface modification.Finally,we conclude the characterizations for correlating the microstructures and the properties of SPEs,with emphasis on the use of emerging advanced techniques(e.g.,cryo-transmission electron microscopy)for in-depth analyzing ASSLMBs.The influence of the microstructures on the properties is very important.Until now,it has been difficult for us to understand the microstructures of batteries.However,some recent studies have demonstrated that we have a better understanding of the microstructures of batteries.Then we suggest that in situ characterization,nondestructive characterization and sub-angstrom resolution are the key technologies to help us further understand the batteries'microstructures and promote the development of batteries.And potential investigations to understand the microstructures evolution and the batteries behaviors are also prospected to expect further reasonable theoretical guidance for the design of ASSLMBs with ideal performance. | Zongxi Lin Ouwei Sheng Xiaohan Cai Dan Duan Ke Yue Jianwei Nai Yao Wang Tiefeng Liu Xinyong Tao Yujing Liu | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,6: | 1 |
| 10 | SARS-CoV-2 NSP5 and N protein counteract the RIG-I signaling pathway by suppressing the formation of stress granules显示文摘As a highly pathogenic human coronavirus,SARS-CoV-2 has to counteract an intricate network of antiviral host responses to establish infection and spread.The nucleic acid-induced stress response is an essential component of antiviral defense and is closely related to antiviral innate immunity.However,whether SARS-CoV-2 regulates the stress response pathway to achieve immune evasion remains elusive.In this study,SARS-CoV-2 NSP5 and N protein were found to attenuate antiviral stress granule(avSG)formation.Moreover,NSP5 and N suppressed IFN expression induced by infection of Sendai virus or transfection of a synthetic mimic of dsRNA,poly(I:C),inhibiting TBK1 and IRF3 phosphorylation,and restraining the nuclear translocalization of IRF3.Furthermore,HEK293T cells with ectopic expression of NSP5 or N protein were less resistant to vesicular stomatitis virus infection.Mechanistically,NSP5 suppressed avSG formation and disrupted RIG-I–MAVS complex to attenuate the RIG-I–mediated antiviral immunity.In contrast to the multiple targets of NSP5,the N protein specifically targeted cofactors upstream of RIG-I.The N protein interacted with G3BP1 to prevent avSG formation and to keep the cofactors G3BP1 and PACT from activating RIG-I.Additionally,the N protein also affected the recognition of dsRNA by RIG-I.This study revealed the intimate correlation between SARS-CoV-2,the stress response,and innate antiviral immunity,shedding light on the pathogenic mechanism of COVID-19. | Yi Zheng Jian Deng Lulu Han Meng-Wei Zhuang Yanwen Xu Jing Zhang Mei-Ling Nan Yang Xiao Peng Zhan Xinyong Liu Chengjiang Gao Pei-Hui Wang | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,2: | 1 |

The experiments reveal that calcite rocks show different deformation behaviors and corresponding microstructural characteristics under different temperatures.
